I have been using this CVS for several years. I see there are some bad reviews because of having to wait for prescriptions. I realize the store is experiencing staff shortages like most businesses and I truly feel for the employees. .Also, with them expected to give COVID test and shots along with flue shots they are spread even thinner. I suggest if you are in a hurry to avoid the obvious busy times. I rarely have more than two or three cars in front of me. I was there just yesterday on a Sunday and I was the only car in line. if you go inside and watch the pharmacy staff for a few minutes you will realize hard and fast they are working. In these strange times we are living, please take a breath a be thankful these people are choosing to work and are trying the best that they can.
I’ve encountered a rude person at the prescription pick up a few times. She said my refill was not ready and that the automated system lied because it doesn’t fill if you have insurance? Doesn’t make sense. Not that I wouldn’t understand having to wait… it was the fact that she mocked me and scoffed at me when I walked away after agreeing to wait an hour for my sons allergy meds. Not to mention that I was obviously getting profiled for shop lifting and got followed around. Must have looked suspicious. The exterior of this store is always a mess. Trash in the back and front trash is always fullllll, can’t even trash your gum on the way in.The service from, what I assume, the manager was good after she realized I wasn’t stealing… also another woman at the front was helpful and attentive at her front register position.
This store is great if you need something from outside of the pharmacy. If you need a prescription filled though, sorry about your luck. No one ever seems to answer the phone anymore, the drive through line takes more than an hour many days and the wait inside isn’t much better. The pharmacy staff is obviously overworked and stressed because they’re all in a bad mood all the time and seem to try to avoid customers.
I’ve never personally had a bad experience here. The pharmacists got straight up yelled at while I was there by some impatient customer, they responded very professionally. People, times are hard enough without being a jerk. Just be nice to people.
Im so unhappy with this pharmacy. I was not notified one of my prescriptions on auto refill was not refilled. I assume error on my end when out, so I phone in a refill. I know have a chronic illness, so know the medication song and dance well, and something seemed off. So, I call later that afternoon to make sure its refilling. Im on hold for 45 minutes. No answer, I am at work and have to hang up. I decide to go in after work. My prescription is not filled. I am NOT told its out of stock, just told its not refilled. I ask the right questions. Not having this can make me very ill. She looks. Sees its out of stock. Offers no solutions. Again, I ask the right questions. And ask if they can see if another CVS has it. They find one, and say theyll transfer it over. I get to the new CVS to find out they never did. What could have been a ten minute errand turned into 2.5 hours, only getting a 5 day supply because this location didnt transfer it, but they could see it in my record and I had an empty bottle with me. Im currently on hold again for 20 minutes to get transferred. My bet, in 10 more Im calling my doctor and moving pharmacies. My health cant risk their unreliability and lack of knowledge. If they are that understaffed, they should close. A lot people are at risk. Id give them zero stars if I could.
The pharmacy is terrible. If you plan to go through the drive-through you will wait at least 45 minutes for a prescription, if it’s even ready. They never answer the phone. The customer service is terrible and the female pharmacist is rude and not helpful at all.We won’t go back.
Pharmacy, please pick up the phone. 30 minutes on hold is simply far too long. My prescription could not be found in the automated system. I called twice and each time waited 30 minutes.
I’ve been sitting in the drive through line to pick up a prescription for over 30 minutes. I attempted to go inside, but that’s not even an option for prescription pick up. The line is wrapped around the building. It’s the same line for prescription pick up, as well as Covid and flu vaccines, and Covid testing. No one knows what’s going on. The only person able to give us any info is someone that’s only here for testing in a little booth in the parking lot. It’s insane.I will never come to a CVS again
Me and my mother have been living in garner for 5 months now and we picked this pharmacy because it was close by. We are so disappointed in the service and the professionalism. Noone hardly ever answers the phone and if they do it takes over 10 minutes. The pharmacist have repeatedly messed up prescriptions which is not a good thing. The last straw for me was when I woke up and my mom was on hold for over an hour with them because they messed up her prescription again. I will be looking for a different CVS.
I encountered the sweetest girl here on Friday. I remember her name because it’s the same as my grandmother’s. Cora. She is always super friendly. I have been meaning to write this for a while. The entire staff is great through. Every time I pick up my meds everyone is friendly and willing to help. Thank you.
Trying to have my prescription filled day 3. Third day of waiting on the phone for way too long just for it to automatically hang up before I even get to speak to anyone. Immensely frustrated. They always mess up my prescriptions here and make something as simple as picking up my prescription SO stressful for me because of the hoops I have to jump through to rectify their mistakes. Every “pharmacist” here needs their credentials checked and needs to be fired and replaced with REAL pharmacists. You are dealing with people health and medication that keeps people alive and functioning! The incompetency of these pharmacists have left me without my medication for days countless times, they could seriously hurt someone because of their sheer incompetency.
Please like our reviews. Wheelchair accessible. The staff here are amazing. My husband had a COVID Drive-thru test scheduled and was done so quickly. He was able to get results in under 36 hours and cleared for work. As an avid couponer, I tend to use 1 of 2 self-checkouts. The self-checkout robot can be sassy but never fear! The real-life employees know how to help customers promptly and keep them self-checkout misses in line. This is our go-to pharmacy for our company health insurance network. We have not had any run-ins with a rude pharmacy tech though. Should we cross paths with staff who is disrespectful, we will definitely be updating our post. Thank you, CVS for always assisting and answering any questions and helping us out with self- checkout hangups! If you have not dowloaded their app, do it now! They give away freebies on occasion and have so many deals!
Booked a PCR covid test so I could go back to work. It was for the drive thru so I got to the line 15 minutes early. Waited in the line for an hour and 20 minutes total . Get to the window and they tell me they aren’t doing Covid tests because of staffing. No email, no text, no call, no one coming out to the line to let anyone know, nothing.
Extremely rude pharmacy staff. Filling prescriptions in a timely manner is not their specialty and gosh forbid you have a question about what theyve filled be prepared to be met with aggravated sighs and for them to blame your provider for writing things wrong. In the last several months I have had nothing but trouble with getting my scripts filled even after my providers wrote all NEW scripts because the staff wasnt sure how to fill them.I enrolled on text alerts to know when my scripts were ready for pick up after I kept going in 2-3 days AFTER I called in refills and they werent ready. However, even with a text saying the RX was ready Id go in and theyd tell me they were still working on it. Id show them the text I received and theyd say well were still processing it even if I got the text the day prior.I could rant and list so many things wrong and that were downright atrocious about the pharmacy staff, but instead Ill advise you to find a different location or pharmacy all together if possible.I do not recommend anyone get their RX filled here.
After waiting 30 min in line told my pills werent ready yet, 3rd time today trying to get them. I will have to go back again.
Booked an appointment to get my family covid tested before our trip. My fathers was cancelled. We called and confirmed that mine and my mothers was still booked. We were told that it was still booked.we drove down there and pulled up to a piece of cardboard in the drive thru window and a sign saying short staffed. Drive thru close and no covid tests today. Now I understand things happen but it would have been nice to be contacted that my appointments were cancelled, especially after I called to confirm they were still booked a few hours ahead of time.
I arrived at this store at 1:48pm. The pharmacy was scheduled to close at 2pm. So I arrived in time to have my cats eye drops prescription filled. He was just released from the ER vet and I was told to get his drops asap so he wouldnt lose his eye. The lady tells me, sorry we are closing in 10 min so I cant fill that!! If you are open until 2pm, then anyone who walks in before closing should have a prescription filled! I even explained it was an emergency and other pharmacies I went to were already closed. She didnt care. Said I should drive 40 min across Raleigh to find another place that was open! You close at 2, not 1:48pm!!! I will make sure to contact your cooperate office and tell very person I know not to take their prescriptions here.
Booked an appointment for a covid test. Got there in time for it. They accidently canceled my appointment while I was in line and couldnt figure out how to reschedule it. Told me to come back when Ive rescheduled it myself. Theres some really unintelligent people working there. Ill never go back to a cvs ever again for a covid test. I needed it for travel. Its easy easier to go to the county for your test. Its free and fast and you dont need an appointment. Best part is there isnt incompetent people working there like there is cvs. I beg you to go anywhere else than cvs when you really need something. They cannot be relied on.
Staff have been extremely helpful and friendly even when interacting with extremely rude and inconsiderate customers. Charlene and the NP in the minute clinic Deborah are amazing!
Avoid at all costs. It is impossible to reach them on the phone. First thing in the morning on a weekend? No answer. Early afternoon on Tuesday? No answer. Early evening on Thursday? No answer. I gave up and went in person while on hold on the phone for over 45 minutes (attached photo) and heard no phones ringing. I think they turn the ringer off. I am transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. It didn’t used to be this way. I really hope your prescription isn’t urgent. This is also the location that had a very viral instance of a front end manager lying to an Uber eats delivery person saying they never received their food.
After a bad experience at the CVS on 40/42, I came here where I was greeted by the pharmacist here, Dr. Pope. He was the sweetest and most understanding man. I was scared of the needle for my covid vaccine but he talked me through it and was so nice. Thank you!!!
I made a appointment for 1:00 pm to get a Covid Shot. I checked in at 12:50 and was told that someone would be right with me. 1 sat there for 20 mins and no one said anything to me. NO ONE. I just called back to the Pharmacy and the pharmacist comes on the line and I asked why was I ignored for 25 mins when I made an appointment. He said that is just part of the process. Why make an appointment when I get totally ignored? Absolutely no respect for anyones time. NEVER will I go to that pharmacy again and I suggest that no one else does either
Never have a medicine ready when I get a text from them. The pharmacy half of them dont know what is going on.
They never answer the phone. Slow to fill prescriptions.
I would put zero stars if I could. Kangaroo pharmacy.
Ugh, a line of people waiting at the drive through and a line of people waiting at the counter. Pharmacy reps see you standing there at drop off and say nothing. With all these people waiting…. You have pharmacy people chatting it up at the front of the store? WOW! ok maybe your on break which is fair but with so many people waiting it is just inappropriate and aggravating to staff chatting. It would also be helpful to have a fully functional site where you can have something delivered if one item is out of stock, instead of having to go back to the same store where they can’t handle the work load. RIDICULOUS
Prescriptions are never ready when they tell you they are. Extremely poor management.
The staff is a joke they’re rude and get prescriptions wrong. One of my prescriptions they filled incorrectly could’ve killed me. Do not go here! They give expired meds and always have an excuse as to why it’s not ready. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Someone needs to clear out the staff at this place and hire some ACTUAL pharmacists!
I had a minor issue with my prescription tonight. Im in pain so I was definitely stressed out about it. The pharmacy staff was very helful though! They were closing so it made things more complicated but they made some calls for me and gave me recommendations on what I could do. Everything ended up working out in the end and it was definitely because of their help! I appreciate that they cared about my situation.
Read a lot of negative reviews and those are unfortunate because I have always had very pleasant experiences at this pharmacy. The staff have been cooperative and courteous and helpful. Just wanted to add my positive opinion because not all people are having such a negative experience there. Thanks
Front counter associates are friendly so this review is for the pharmacy. The techs are friendly and the one pharmacist is wonderful but something or someone is terribly flawed that works there. Ive had problems with my prescription, my husbands prescription and now my cats prescription so I now know that its the pharmacy and not the doctors office. My latest prescription should have been transferred from Walmart but they cant find it. Its never pleasant listening to a rude Walmart associate because CVS is in the wrong but I had to double check before finding that out.
Had a prescription called in from another CVS close to closing time. The pharmacist was kind enough to get it done in 20 minutes so I could have it before I left town and before the store closed. I really appreciate the extra effort in helping me out
Pleased with my pharmacy. Moving from SC to NC, I have had nothing but pleasant experiences in the few times Ive patronized this store. Employees, in particular, have made my stops here very pleasant. They are constantly re-stocking shelves and willing to help me find products. Good customer service skills hard to find nowadays.
The pharmacist Jalpa is extremely helpful with navigating prescriptions from the doctor, insurance, and manufacturers coupons. Very intelligent and customer friendly. Great pharmacy staff!
Staff very helpful and friendly
A most caring staff overall! The pharmacy staff is also excellent. The best I have seen in my life time.
I come here once in a blue moon. But today is the last day I will come here. They are racist. They treat hispanics differently than they treat white people. My friend had her 2 year old with her. The child had gotten a train and one of the employees instead of talking directly to my friend about it went up to the child and asked HIM if he was going to buy the train and if he wasnt going to buy it then to not touch it. As if we werent shopping. As if we just went to disrupt and just touch things. So does that mean that if I touch a toothpaste I HAVE to buy it? If it bothered the employee that much that the kid touched a train why didnt she say anything directly to US? Why does she have to say those kind of things to a child? A 2 YEAR OLD.
Let me start by saying, I love CVS. I shop at CVS about every two weeks and yes, I coupon. How can you not? The savings are incredible! Unfortunately, this location has ruined my normally gleeful shopping experience on two consecutive trips. The blame can be squarely placed on the supervisors shoulders. Her name is Tammy and she is one of the most unpleasant people I have met in retail. First of all, she does not understand the store policies. On the first occasion, she informed me that I could not receive extra bucks because it was Saturday evening and the computers had already rolled to the next days sales ad. After a lengthy argument in the store in which she got heated, she called corporate and came back and manually printed the Extra Bucks that I was entitled to in the first place. The second shopping trip was even more egregious. She refused to use all of the coupons that were loaded on my ExtraCare card. Not only did she refuse, but she also lied about the coupons that I could use in the first place. She literally cost me about $30 in savings. It was obvious to me that she was irritated with the extra work when the customer behind me checked out, Tammy said to her in a snide voice, Thank God you only have one thing, I was still standing there and I found it humiliating.I strongly advise people to not shop at this store and if you cannot avoid it, at least avoid the supervisor, Tammy.
Ross Bailey, VERY RUDE PHARMACIST! I will never return to this location if she is working. She’s very rude, always seems to have a attitude, and just really makes me and my family not want to return. When she working at the window she constantly leaves with no explanation and goes to talk to her pal. I don’t find her to be professional at all. Especially to work in a pharmacy where you work with customers daily.
I usually go to the CVS in Target but this one day they didn’t have my prescription in stock so they sent me to this one. I was greeted by nice and friendly staff, but the pharmacy is a whole other experience . These people are rude, don’t care about you, and they downright suck. First, I told them the situation that it’s my first time there and I was sent by the other pharmacy, they said “first of all, I told you to wait until 8:30, so wait a few more minutes” and I said “nobody told me the times, the other pharmacist didn’t tell me, I just came down here.” To which he responded “well, I’m telling you now” and the other lady who was short and chubby just rolled her eyes and ignored me. So I sat there until around 8:15 and I was called and given my prescription without an apology on the wait, or even thanking me for the purchase. I also reluctantly came again to use the minuteclinic for my husband, doctor on site was little clumsy but did their job after the two hour wait.
This store sucks. Shorted my monthly prescription by a third. Refused to correct the issue because I took them out of the building. I kinda get that, but the offered solution was for me to count all my prescriptions when I pick them up. I pay them to count the medicine, if I have to count my pills then it is time to find a new pharmacy. I have run out for the past three months and was wondering why, now I know. Wish I had counted them a month or two earlier, so I didnt have to run out again. Stay away from this pharmacy!
I simply called the store to get them to stop sending me text messages about a perscription that I did not need that had been filled. And in the middle of explaining my issues the pharmacy rep rudely interrupted me to say it was never filled(which is not what the text said) and just hangs up the phone. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and wouldn’t have a job if I handled issues this way. In fact I have never been so vexed with a simple phone interaction with a business and can assure you that I will no longer be using cvs for any reason, pharmacy or otherwise.
I don’t even want to give them a 1 star. I have always had problems with this pharmacy, but nothing to get me furious enough to write a review. I walked in @3:00 on 8/22/18 to have my husbands prescription filled. I asked for it to be ready by 5pm same day. That seems simple, right? I arrived after 5, right before I have to pick up my son from preschool to get the prescription. I waited in line for about 8 minutes, it’s after work hours so I understand it gets busy. Once I got up to the front of the line the gentleman could not find the script, but told me the status of the script was “complete” in the system. So both of us were confused. He continued to look. He then asks me to step to the side once he found that the female pharmacist (short, petite, dark hair) needed to finish the script by “rebuilding” it. He told me it would be a few minutes, so again, I waited another 8 minutes. Once He directed me over to her, she then proceeds to tell me that she had to “rebuild” the prescription and that I had to go back to the END OF THE LINE (it wasn’t short either, because again, it is after 5)...why? Because other people were waiting EVEN THOUGH I WAS WAITING LONG BEFORE THEM BECAUSE THE PHARMACY FAILED TO DO THEIR JOB. I left, picked up my son, came back in the store with him and another woman (tall, average build, dark hair, fair skin) must have recognized that I came back, and handed my son a lollipop while waiting in line AGAIN, bless that woman, I was happy with her. Finally after what should have taken 10 minutes at most, turned into a 30 minute ordeal (including coming back). Please learn customer service. My husband is moving to a different CVS because it is always something.
Terrible customer service from pharmacy. Trying to get a prescription filled that I’ve been taking for years... my Dr. said he’s sending it over, they’re saying they don’t have it...meanwhile I’ve gone days without my medication that makes me physically ill to stop taking cold turkey and they refuse to just give a me couple days worth until we figure out what’s going on. Makes me sick- literally!
I came to this store to print pictures at 8:42. Granted the store closes at 9, I planned on printing a quick picture and leaving. As I’m seated, a lady who is not wearing a uniform but dressed more business casual comes over and asks “You finding your pictures alright?” I reply and say “I’m currently downloading the app since the cord on both computers have a shortage”. She replies and says “Well you only have a few minutes left. The iPhones act funny when it comes to different devices.” I download the app and the app was loading, by this time it was 8:54 and I didn’t want to hold them up being that they both were standing at the front door. As I’m leaving, the cashier says, “You ready to check out?” I reply and say “I’ll come another time since the cords aren’t working.” She simply replies “Ok”. So unprofessional and careless. If the business is open until 9, the employees should be professional and helpful until 9. She didn’t care to come over and help. She didn’t even pretend to care by asking what was wrong or anything. I will no longer give this establishment my money. So rude and trashy as a business. No wonder why yall’s rate is a 2.4. Y’all suck. Seriously.
Dont go here! Meds are WAY more expensive and service is so bad.2 people in line and I WAITED 15 minutes!CVS is going down hill!!
Watch for great sales and online coupon from your CVS account
Its your usual CVS. The employees are very friendly and the pharmacy is knowledgeable. Have not had a bad experience. Get my medications from here and its usually ready very quickly.
Worst pharmacy ever. So I went in there today to pick up my diabetes medications (2 of them). They told me one got filled, the other wasnt in their system and I needed to have it resent. Okaaay... So I called my doctor and had it resent.. At this point I notice the pharmacist complaining that her system froze up AGAIN, and overhear her saying that someones request had caused the problem for a second time.. so she just deleted it from the queue AGAIN so she could get back to work.. At this point Im suspicious that its my medication thats causing it. I sit around for an hour and a half.. Finally I get fed up and ask whats going on.. They say its still not in their system and to have it sent a third time. I call my doctor and have it sent a third time (at this point my doctors office is sounding pretty mad at me).. Well what do you know.. their system freezes up again.. I tell them thats its my medication thats doing it and the pharmacist deletes it again and tells me that hell call my doctor in the morning and do it verbally.... I get out of work today... I go to the pharmacy... Did the pharmacist call my doctor?? Was my script filled??.. NOPE and they of course dont have it in their system.. And they had no idea what I was talking about and got rude to me when I tried to explain.. So now Ill be going on day 3 without my diabetes medication.. Walgreens it is.
The pharmacy is deplorable. I wish I could give them 0 stars. The pharmacists there are completely inept (Jimmy was the pharmacist today) and the pharmacy tech was plain hateful. This isnt my first bad experience at this CVS, unfortunately something always goes wrong here every time. Theyre always out of medicine, wait times are ridiculous and the customer service is horrid. Will be changing pharmacies!
Unwelcoming staff made me seem like a bothersome rather than a paying customer whos money contributes to their salary. Was not greeted and when I asked a question she seemed annoyed. Horrible customer service. I normally go to CVS in Target but came here because they opened an hour earlier.
Overall they have provide good service over the years However Ive had experiences with this location. First there store hours are posted incorrectly on their web sit. Store opens at 8AM not 7AM as posted on the site. Tried to get a flue shot for two days the first day the minute clinic was one hour and 45 minute wait. Went to pharmacy was next in line they said the wait would be i hour. the next day I went to the pharmacy at 8 am they said since the store just opened the wait would be one hour? Last year this store lost my granddaughters insurance card no opoligies just said if we find it we will call, no calls came.
This pharmacy is horrible. Needed a prescription refilled (a very common medication) and they wont have it for 4 days. The staff have an attitude and you always have to wait forever. Ill be moving my prescriptions to Walgreens across the road!
The staff is not nice, I dont feel comfortable shopping in that store
It’s really good!
Some of the pharmacy staff is very unprofessional and rude.
Bad service i called to check if my prescription was ready I was on hold for 10 min! So ridiculous!
Staff are always nice and helpful
Very bad service most cashiers have bad mode
The staff is irritated, the pharmacy staff s a joke. Avoid at all costs!
Terrible, terrible customer service!!!
Well
