Your employee, Kelly was very sweet and friendly, and we chatted about the games we liked. She was so cool to throw in a free pin!

I was there today at 5 am this morning for opening to buy my son the new XBox. I was the 5 the person in line the store only had 6 . The manager comes out a little before opening saying 1 to a family. The lady before me with all her kids, was able to buy all of them. I couldn’t believe the store manager sold all of them to a whole family. I’m highly disappointed

Nice selection of used and new video games. We usually purchase the used ones and never had a problem with them so far. We have also traded in video games and a couple consoles. They give store credit or a lesser cash option. Staff was helpful also.

EDITED: Please see initial update at the bottom.Not a great first experience with this location.Called twice ahead of time to see if they had a product in stock. No answer. Went ahead and put in a hold request online a little bit later. Decided I would just go because it might be time sensitive, so I left and called again... No one picked up.I got to the store and asked about the item I put a hold on. Sales associate: Oh, were you the one who put a hold request on it? We actually just sold it, I saw the hold request as I was ringing the guy up who bought it and said to myself Oh, well have to decline that. Sorry!So I wouldve gotten it had the store picked up or actually honored the hold request system?I went next door to meet my wife who got Starbucks, and when we left... I saw why no one picked up. All 2 of the employees were *outside the store with no one inside of it.* When customers came up to buy something, one of the employees went back into the store with them, while another was standing outside on his phone.Oh well. Would say Id buy it elsewhere, but its a GS exclusive. With CS like this, cant say therell be many exclusives since they wont be around.EDIT: 9/27/19 Contacted by management in regards to this instance. Everything was addressed in regards to my experience, offering an explanation as to what may have contributed to the experience and assured me the issue has been corrected moving forward. Resolution more than given, thanks so much! Above expectations.

I have never had any problems shopping at this location. The store is clean and well organized. Whenever they didnt have an item, they took the time to find a location that currently had it in stock. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable.

2 years ago i gave this place 3 stars. Somethings needed work and i was hoping it would get better, as a father and a gamer i purchased merchandise video games and consoles from this location. Christian seems be the new manager but lacks extremely in the customer service department, hes never happy to help and lacks the basic knowledge for explaining Games, and seems to Have no interest in helping customers, if you ask a question it always seems hes busy with something else. I pulled my pre order for the God Of War out of this location and they lost my business for good!Your money is better spent somewhere that your appreciated as a customer.

Came in for controller joystick extensions.I had no idea they were called control freaksI explained what I wanted, the cashiers laughed at me and said Control freaks? And snickered at their fellow coworker. I honestly felt belittled, I dont believe that was the intent at all(and itd be stupid to punish anyone)But because of this incident I purchased a 3-D printer and now I make my own stick extensions and sell them to people regardless of what they call them. So thanks I guess

.Dont Bother Trying to Find Pokémon Cards at This Location, the Girl that Works There her name is Kelly calls Her Friend or Boyfriend that works Next door at Chipotle as soon as they come in and he grabs whatever they get in. Went in Today 6/1/2021 to just grab some Funko Pop Protectors and I saw a Elite Trainer Box asked if that was for sale she said yes and then paused for a few seconds and looked over to Her Friend/Boyfriend ( I Dont Know For Sure) Guy that wasnt even in Line and he said no Im taking those and then she wouldnt sell me them, Pretty Sure those are not able to be placed on Hold and they are first come first serve. Screw this location go to the Ridge Road Location.

Went to get my boyfriend the new Spiderman game and service was exceptional! There was alot of people and they grouped everyone accordingly and got us all in and out in record timing! There were few complications with the system but we were all patient and got through it. Great customer service and to the employee wearing the spiderman costume... cool outfit!

Ive been fickle about this location the past few years. Maybe because its been my home store for so long I became complacent, expected more than I deserved.Christian and his team, theyve done great over the years, im back to being a realist I suppose. Business is business...As for the store and how I shop there, I purchased 4 games today. Two to take home and two pre ordered for me and my son. I highly suggest vista way gamestop.

This place totally sucks. 3 Times I come here and they didnt have what I wanted. 1st I try to get a xbox one and they dont have it, which is fine considering it was pretty hot at the time, but they never even tried to search for it at another location or at least tell me when they would be getting more in stock. 2nd time was very recent...I go there to get Kirby 3D and they dont have it...one of the associates even said that it wasnt a popular franchise which is not even close to being true considering they been making Kirby games for 20+ years. They gave me another location where it was but it wasnt even new it was but wasnt. The game was out of the box because they were using the box for display purposes. The guy tries to sell me the already opened game and tells me it is new but it was opened. Im sorry but a game is not new if it is opened already. Imagine going to the grocery store and seeing the 1 box of cereal you want but its open...sure the box was open but the plastic inside the box was closed but would you still buy that cereal? No you would not, and if you did you would be crazy to do so. The 3rd time they once again failed me was today. I went to go buy the new Wolfenstein for PS3....the associate then asked for my name, and explained that someone had already called in to have them set the game aside. So this wasnt even reserved they just set aside the game for some random person because apparently this place isnt first come first serve. Instead of securing a sale with the first person with cash in hand they decide to set aside the LAST copy so this yahoo can come pick it up whenever they had a chance. Reservations work differently, you put money down and get a receipt and they also put it on file under your gamestop card which was not the case with this copy. It was just set aside. Doesnt this kind of defeat the purpose of reservations? If I can just call in on the day of release and have it set aside, then why in the hell would I come into the store 2 weeks in advance and give a 5-10 dollar down payment? Case and point here: Im done with this location, and possibly gamestop as a company all together. Oh and they also failed to tell me when they would be getting more in. Is it my responsibility as a consumer to ask that question or is it their responsibility as a company? As a customer I will just go to the next video game retailer and say to hell with their store. I know I typed in a lot here but its the truth and it doesnt deserve to go unnoticed. Shame on you gamestop. Edit: I gave the store another star for getting great help from an employee who actually knew what he was talking about. I decided on getting a Wii U bundled with Mario Kart 8 and he was very helpful. 1 full star for the employee there who was super helpful and kind. I wish I remembered his name but I know he likes nine inch nails which is one of the best bands ever.

Let me be the first to say that I am not one to write reviews for establishments very often, but when I do, its because a place is really special. Hence, this review for, what I believe to be, the finest GameStop (or even any game store) that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.To start, this store has the widest assortment of games that I have ever seen. Though they are limited to what games and systems they can sell (as in console generation-wise), I dont believe I have ever gone there looking for a game and come away empty-handed. Even if they didnt have one in store, they were either able to help me find a closer store with the product I wanted, or order it online and have it shipped directly to my house free of charge. Yes, the games they have in stock range from highly publicized AAA titles such as Grand Theft Auto to smaller, more niche games like the Persona series. Like I said, its hard to walk away from this store without the game you came in for.But what would a store be without the people who help keep the store going, most times known as employees. And the employees at this store certainly know their stuff. They all play a wide range of games and can help give you personal reviews of games they have played and help you make wiser decisions on your game purchases, sometimes even suggesting games you may be unaware of, but will most likely end up enjoying immensely, which has happened to me plenty of times already. If youre a somewhat regular shopper, they will eventually remember the types of games you like and even make you aware of things you werent aware of. There have been a few times Ive walked in and purchased games strictly based on word of mouth from the employees and ended up walking out happy with my purchase.The manager, Jon, plays a wide range of games on all the major systems and has such a vast knowledge of many games that he could put many publications to shame. Andy, another worker, from what I have seen so far, specializes in Xbox games and handheld gaming to a great degree. Steffanie has a great knowledge on pretty much all consoles and Nintendo handhelds, with a specialty in role-playing games. And then theres Heather, who can help out anyone with PlayStation games and Nintendo handhelds. She also can help out when it comes to smaller, independent games from lesser-known developers. And yes, you did read the last few sentences correct. There are girls who work at this store (yes, they are attractive) and actually know about video games, and not just big name games like Call of Duty. They, along with the guys, can school you on any genre of game you can think of.The employees here are absolutely fantastic, and always deliver excellent service, even to the customers that are not the nicest, to say the least. I cant begin to praise the employees enough as they should be.Once again, this GameStop is a fantastic place to shop at, with a group of employees who can help you out with anything you need and even make your time shopping there a fun experience. Its what I believe to be the finest game store that you may ever visit. Guaranteed.
