I recently bought an Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport with my Sales Rep being Nora Sokhon! I am from Minnesota therefore I had A LOT of questions to insure it was worth my traveling across half the country to buy the car. IT DEFINITELY WAS! I love my Cross Sport! In dealing with Nora - I had many questions and he was always available to keep me in the know! We came to an agreement that I would put money down so they would hold the car until I could travel there to confirm I want to proceed with the purchase. Once we got there we test drove it - had a minor hiccup of hearing some whistling which ended up being the roof racks (which we werent purchasing - they were on there for staging) that were still on - once they were removed it ran and sounded like a dream! Nora went though everything on the car thoroughly. Also, Chuck the Finance Manager was great as well!! They both went through everything thoroughly but quickly so we can get on the road back to Minnesota. I had done a lot of research on these vehicles and prices across the country and I felt like received the best deal with great customer service! Thank you Nora and Chuck at King!!

We drove from the Eastern Shore to get a good deal and we were not disappointed. Eduard Hovsepyan was the salesman I dealt with on the phone to arrange the deal and finalize the sale. He was to the point, honest, and professional. It was the quickest and most pain free car buying experience I have had and I am very happy with my purchase of a 2021 VW Atlas SEL Premium. They stayed open after their 6 pm closing to accommodate us with absolutely no hassle or attitude. We arrived at 630 to boot.I was shopping the Highlander, Palisade, and Atlas. We settled on the Atlas after a month of comparing and test driving. At one point I had over 50 dealerships in the process in a 100 mile area. On the way to pick it up, I had another VW dealer telling me the deal was impossible and no way it was honest. Well it was as advertised. This was the best car deal I have ever made and feel like both the dealer and I got a mutually decent deal.

Im in the middle for this rating. loved the deal they gave us, (bought 2 new alltracks,well almost new. They were unsold 2019s). Im from pa so I dont know how this affected the outcome of my registration but its 4 months now and STILL no paperwork. I need my car to be serviced in regards to my sunshade. I have a VW Tiguan, one of the first models, 2009, and my sunshade required service. I made the appointment, and the service adviser scheduled my service and told me to come to King Volkswagen in the morning to take care of it, which I did. Later that day, I got a call from the dealership, and I was informed that they couldn’t perform the repair because they needed additional parts. I went back to the Dealership, and upon arriving, I requested to speak with the mechanics to get a better understanding what I need to get so the repair could be completed. Upon receiving my car, I notice that my fully functional panoramic sunroof is not operating correctly what I mean is that it is not opening anymore and that it has issues closing it as well. When I came back the same day and explained the issue that I was having, the service advisor told me that I needed to make another appointment to see what was happening, and i was instructed to stop by the following day, which I did. Upon arrival on the next day, I was told that someone had spoken with my mechanic. He denied that he had anything to do with the damaged sunroof and the service advisor said that maybe something I did. They never checked to see if my sunroof was operational and that it is possible that I’m lying and that I’m asking for a free repair which is despicable to accuse some that just got their car service. Something like that is unacceptable. I told them that this was unacceptable and that I just paid you close to $600 to fix something, and you did more damage than I originally came here to get service. They denied it and said that it was possible that maybe it was already broken, but at the same time, when they did the so-called repair, they didn’t notice it. While I was talking about the issue that I’m and the unpleasant experience I had with the service, one of the mechanics came, and his professionalism and understanding were terrific. He was trying to assist me, but unfortunately, he said that the car needed to be serviced again so they could take a look at it. I mentioned to him that I didn’t want to pay hundreds of dollars and to risk something else to be broken, and that I don’t trust them anymore. I want to thank him for his professionalism and for the time that he dedicated to me and the issue that I was experiencing.Now I’m stuck in a worse situation than before I went to get my car serviced. I’m genuinely disappointed with the experience, and despite having done previous repair and maintenance service with Kings Volkswagen, I will never trust them again. I don’t think that I will ever service any of my cars with them. Definitely, I will never recommend that Delarship ever again. I wish that they were more understanding and were willing to assist like the mechanic that came to see what was happening.The bottom line is people please be careful when you go to Kings Volkswagen in Gaithersburg. Make sure that when you get your car back, you check everything, and once again, I want to say thank you to the mechanic that came to assist he is one of a kind and I just hope that the rest of the people that work at this Dealarship will be like him.

My service advisor, Mike Park, has taken good care of my GTI. I trust his counsel absolutely. Anytime I have needed help, he has responded quickly with knowledgeable advice. Ownership of the car has been a worry free experience thanks to Mike being available and communicative. I know I can call him to get any questions about my GTI, and get an accurate answer. One time I smelled coolant fluid, and he worked with the technicians to get a leak fixed. He called me after the fix to check on the car, and at the following two subsequent service appointments, he asked me if I still detected any issues. King VW is where you should have your VW fixed, and Mike Park is the service advisor you should work with.

Had a great experience buying our 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan! We found the listing for exactly the type of Tiguan we were looking for (SE with the optional panoramic sunroof) and reached out to King Volkswagen who quickly responded to set up a test drive that evening. Chris Evans was very helpful throughout the process. He was attentive and knowledgeable without being pushy. We ended up being there for a little over 3 hours including the test drive and were able to drive home our new car that night. I would definitely recommend buying from King Volkswagen.

Leased a car for a great price, but at the end they gave me a run around and did a few things I found to be manipulative to rush me and squeeze a little extra money out of me. Really left me with a negative impression despite the initial positive practices and service.

Do NOT come to King Volkswagen to service your car unless you want to be cheated out of your hard-earned money and be gaslit for holding them accountable to their poor work product. At the end of 2016, I purchased a 2017 Golf Wolfsburg edition here. I’ve always brought my car here to be serviced. In 2017, I brought the car in for repairs after I was rear-ended. When the car was returned to me, I noticed various of my belongings had been stolen. I called the dealership to no avail because the line was always busy, but more than that, the employees answering the phone had the customer service skills of a toddler. I should’ve taken this as a sign to stay away. However, in June 2021, I brought the car in for sunroof water leakage repairs. I was charged $600+ for hose repair and mold clearing, but in reality, all the dealership did was unclog the hoses. With the severe thunderstorms over the past week, the sunroof started leaking again. I took the car in this week and was assisted by Michael Park, who said I had to pay nearly $2,000 for the cheapest repair option. He disclosed when I brought the car in for repairs in June, they didn’t see that the sunroof was leaking. When I inquired how that was possible and why they didn’t employ a better solution to the problem, he responded there aren’t any absolutes in life. I vehemently resent that comment from this dealership, considering I paid nearly a grand the first time. Now, they want a couple thousand more to fix the same issue. Luckily, I found a European car shop that’ll happily scrap the subpar work of this dealership and identify and fix the actual problem for half the price. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and run from this dealership like you’re running from the plague.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Bought a car here for my wife and was very disappointed in the lack of integrity and honest at this dealership. All was well at first, but thats how they get you. Had my wife test drive a couple vehicles and she opted for a slightly older 18 vs a 21 Atlas because of the extra safety features for our children. Once through the buying process and onto finalizing the deal is where the dishonesty shows. I have never seen a dealer try to charge almost $4,000+ in services and fees and then extra for gap insurance and claiming it is mandatory. Even on the contract it says optional. We were also not informed about the conditional of the car, which I still was willing to deal with, but just principal that I had to find the info out myself.Do yourself a favor and find a dealer that wont overcharge you to make up for their loss in fees. Even after the sale, 2 of their OWN EMPLOYEES stated to not come back and buy another vehicle from them due to their crooked practices. Not really the thing to say to a customer leaving the dealer after making a purchase......

I recently worked with Chris Evans to purchase a 2013 Nissan to gift to my mom. Chris was patient while my brother and I made the decision on the purchase. He worked with us until both parties were able to come to a deal they made us both comfortable. Even after the purchase Chris continued to stay in contact to make sure that I was satisfied with the services and followed up on what to expect when waiting on the tags for the vehicle. The only aspect of my buying experience I would like to see improved is the financing dept. My wait time for service was a bit long. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to visit Chris.

Their service center is worst ever compared to other VW. The agent at here is deceptive and dishonest to me. They do not explain well to me what they are going to do. When I change one of my tire which has a puncture and couldn’t be fixed by patch, they recommended me to change all tires. Of course, they can suggest to me but i also have a option to change one tire or all tires. When I said I would like to change just one tire the refused it and gave me my car with a spare tire equipped. They recommended to me to change all tires for safety issue and gave me back my car with spare tire(not new tire) when I want to just change one tire. What a ridiculous!!! In my thoughts, I couldn’t understand their logic at all. If you need service, please please avoid this branch and go to the other service centers.

I bought a used Toyota Highlander from this Kia Volkswagen. We received 2 key fobs. One key fob was missing the metal key that goes inside. We did not notice this until much later. When the battery in the car died, we tried to use the metal key of the 2nd key fob to open the car and found that that key was not even cut. I called Kia Volkswagen to inform them that they never gave me a proper key to the car. They essentially said, Too bad, and hung up on me. Now Im out an additional $700 for something that should come with the car. I will never buy another car from them again.

Experience at the dealership is good and straightforward. People at the dealership were okay but avoid the salesman named Kambiz from Kia VW. He will not return any of your calls or emails. He’ll say he’ll do this and that but in end, he’s quite unhelpful. He doesn’t care much once the sale is completed. But then another person, Sasha I think, was the exact opposite. He asked if I need help with anything and began to install the tags for me. So, the dealership is great but avoid Kambiz.—update—It’s been a week since I’ve replied to email address provided and still no response. I’ll resend again and see what happens. That’s the update.

Went to shop for simple oil change, and the mechanic stole money out of our car. Had emergency fund tucked away in small compartment inside of glove box so he had to search through our things to find the money. Two rolls of quarters that were $25 each. Will NEVER do business there again and will warn everyone about their mechanics thieving ways.

Irritated. Make sure you read all the print on the sales sticker. They dont tell you that based on the package you get, YOU DONT EVEN GET FLOOR MATS. A 2021 that doesnt even come with mats. Also, the handles at times get stuck when trying to open the doors. My 1st VW, and Im not really impressed.I reached out to Lev (who responded to my review)and HE NEVER EVEN CALLED ME BACK. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM.... Smh. I wont be dealing with them again.

If I could leave 10 stars on Google for King VW, I would. Highly recommend Lev (sales manager) and Sasha (sales consultant). Sasha is friendly and thorough. He followed up with me, searched for the right car, appraised my trade in and made sure everything is well taken care of. Lev is very honest and straightforward man. I closed the deal with him before walking into the dealership. There was no bait and switch (deal wasnt too good to be true, it was just very good deal). Anything these guys said and promised over the phone they delivered in person. I requested a quote through Truecar and Edmunds, received text messages and emails from a dozen of dealers. Lev was the only dealer who calculated all the numbers over the phone, without wasting a minute, and was very honest about his offer. Having bought and leased cars for over 20 years (and I am very difficult car buyer to deal with), I have to say: this is the place you want to go to to get your next VW. They wont waste your time. Bill Buckley in the service department was a real pleasure to work with, explained everything clearly and I felt like my vehicle was understood and taken care of.Tyrone, the shuttle driver was the definition of perfect customer service. Funny enough, my experience with the service department from Bill to Tyrone made me feel happy to own a VW.Please make sure this gets passed along to them.

I could not be more dissatisfied with a company. I had a great exchange with the sales person. We agreed upon a price for a car. The next day, the sales manager called me and pulled out of the deal. To be straight, I initially agreed to $300 higher than my previous deal. In the meantime, another dealer offered a price $500 less...a significant reduction on a 23K car. I went back to King and actually raised my offer from an agreed upon price. Nope. They apparently value $198 gained from a future buyer over an agreed deal. A sad statement for a business. Stay away from these types. Sadly everyone lost on our non trasaction.

Just bought a 2021 Atlas from King VW and could not have been happier. Worked with Eduard who was friendly, courteous, helpful, and honest. He was easy to reach and communicated well. There were no complications, even as an out of state buyer (Eduard even returned my rental car for me!). Twenty four hours after I called with an inquiry, I drove off the lot with the exact car I wanted. Price was extremely reasonable, and although dealer fees are high, the sales manager (Oroko) was able to work with me. Finance department was thorough and took the time to answer any questions I had. I would buy another car from King without hesitation, even with the five hour drive to get there!

I purchased my certified Passat from King in Feb 2020. The sale and financing went smoothly and as planned. 2 weeks ago my headlight went out. I went to my local VW dealer to get fixed as I needed to go for a tire rotation anyway. I was told it was a wiring issue and that the whole headlight assembly needed replaced at $500+! I reached out to King to see if they could help me somehow with the issue. After a few days I received a call from Jason Aschenbach. He went above and beyond my expectations! He spoke to the service manager at my local dealer and arranged a fantastic plan to help me. It’s tough financial times for a lot of people out there. How satisfying and rewarding it is to have a company and dealer that take care of their customers. Thanks Jason, I sincerely appreciate your help.

Dont waste your time here. Reached out through true car, then the dealer tried to jack the price up through fees. Once we got through that and I drove up to get the car they sold it to someone else while I was waiting for it. Ridiculous games.

Zero stars - This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My King VW 2015 Passat engine (that was perfectly maintained) began to fail at 70K miles. Right away, I worked with VW Service to solve the problem. At first, I was told the problem was normal. It was not - my engine was burning about 1 L of oil every 500 miles. Then, on the third trip to the service center, they tell me to replace my PVC Breather valve and the problem should be fixed. I agree to the work however, after 500 miles, my oil level is low again. I bring it back to be told that the only course of action is a new engine at $8.5K. Many other professional mechanics have since told me that a PVC breather should have been found on the first look, if that really was the problem. This service center is lying to customers defrauding them out of thousands and not fixing problems. I was not refunded for the work that did not fix the problem. And all King would offer me was $1500 off a new vehicle. Corporate VW would not assist. That is not even a year end deal. Its a total joke. Do not buy a car there and absolutely do not use the service center. Ive never written a negative review before.

Went in to buy my first new car and knew exactly what I was looking for. The salesman who helped me, Sasha, was very helpful, respectful, and worked with me to make sure I got the car I wanted and at the best price possible. No pressure during the process and nothing but the utmost professionalism. I love my car and look forward to working with King VW in the future.

Used car I was looking at was advertised for $9200. When Edward came back with walkout price it was close to $13,000. They included hidden fees like $895. for detailing. Why should the consumer pay for them to detail the car to sit on their lot? The car I was looking to trade in they offered $500. Another car dealer offered $2000 on trade in price and $1500. on straight cash sale. What a ripoff these guys are

Working with Eduard H. was an absolute pleasure during a process that can be time consuming and a pain. He made it easy and painless! He was incredibly patient with my inability to make decisions and never tried to sell me on things I didnt need. He listened to my wants and needs and didnt try to sell me on other things. He actually quoted something inaccurately, took responsibility for it and made everything right! The process felt safe and clean during a pandemic! I would highly recommend making an appointment with Eduard if you are looking for a car!!

I found a great deal on a 2017 GTI Sport 6MT through AutoTrader at King Volkswagen. I emailed them and was contacted by Nora. We went back and forth through email and phone calls for several days regarding the details of the car and purchase. I flew from NC to MD to pickup the car and drive it home. The car was waiting right out front, freshly washed, with a full tank of gas. The paperwork was ready and I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. It was worth the flight and drive because they were $2,000 cheaper than the best price I could get locally on the car I wanted. Thanks for the great car at a great price!

First off, these people don’t wear masks. The people in the Kia department sit in their sections no mask on just on their phones or talking to each other. Secondly, the used car salesmen are untrained and I guess it seems to be an inconvenience that people actually want to buy used cars. We were met with attitude and hostility when questioning the condition of the vehicle we drove almost an hour to see. They gave a $200 “discount” as an “apology”. Financing gives you the highest apr available, doesn’t show you any options. When calling to inquire about the loan number not being on the paper work, I was told”of course it wouldn’t be on there”, I’ve purchased vehicles before from another dealer and was always given three options for loans and apr AND my account number was ALWAYS on my paper work. Please do not go here unless you fully underStand the car buying process and don’t take your parents there alone. These people are extremely unprofessional. If you’re looking for used cars I’ve had a better and friendlier experience at Apple Ford.

Everyone here was amazing! I have a really unique situation. My husband is deployed and we are not super close to this location. But they worked so hard to make sure we got the car my husband has DREAMED of for so long, and they were completely understanding of our situation. Chris and Paul were so personable, and Alex put in a lot of hard work for us. Everyone was perfect, and I couldnt be more grateful to have driven home in our new Golf R!

Bought a 2019 VW Golf R in May of 2020. Absolutely love this car, it’s just awesome in every way, which is the only reason for 2 stars. This dealer was simply not straight forward with me at all. They played the classic BS car dealership games. They got me into the dealership with the 0% financing and 120 day payment deferral, but then tried charging me a $2000 “fee” just for using the 0% financing. When I told them that was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, I ended up financing at 2.9% without any fee, but still with the 120 day payment deferral. I was told numerous times by several people at the dealer that the interest would not start accumulating until after the 120 days, which I later found out was just a lie that they told me to make me buy the car. I did not register my car in Maryland and it took about 3-4 months for me to actually receive my plates. The salesman also said that the plates would be sent to the dealer and then sent to me, which was also not true. All in all, I’m happy with my car, but will never be returning to King VW, not when there are thousands of other dealers out there with drastically better service.

I couldnt be more pleased with Kings Volkswagen. Paul Myers made my dreams come true!! Not only did he deliver a fantastic deal, his customer service was outstanding. He transferred a car from out of state for me to meet my requests and even switched the wheels to the ones I really loved. His product knowledge was exceptional as well and made me at ease driving the car off the lot! I had been to 2 other dealerships and this is why I chose to drive an hour away to make the deal. He made me feel extremely comfortable, totally upfront and no surprises!!! I can’t thank Paul enough. King Volkswagen is lucky to have him🙂

I had a great experience as a first time buyer of VW!I worked with Eduard Hovsepyan in sales, who made the process completely painless!Eduard was honest, to the point while still being professional, and was extremely knowledgeable about both the car (2020 GTI) and VW as a brand! This made the process extremely efficient. We called earlier that week, saw the car in person that weekend and took a test drive; that day I was able to walk out with my dream car with a great price! Ive had the car for just over a month, and loving every day of it!I worked with Chuck on the finance team, and found the experience to be great as well. He provided an honest discussion about the different options, without being overly pushy.Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend working with this team at the dealership.

Im very happy with my VW Atlas purchased at King VW. They had a very competitive price on it - so much so that I flew down from Massachusetts to buy it. I worked with Patrick who was very helpful getting everything organized for me so that I could fly in, sign paperwork, and drive home. He even picked me up from the airport and drove me to the dealership, saving me the hassle of trying to figure out public transportation or pay $$ for a taxi from BWI. Overall a quick and smooth experience.

I bought 2 VW passats here at King Volkswagen Gaithersburg MD. 2018 Model and 2020 as well.Both of them had the same problem in about 15000 miles .FUEL INJECTOR FAILD - both cars brake down and smell of the fuel inside the cabin was so bad. ( two different models 2018 and 2020 the same problem)My second problem is tire and wheel protection plan that sales persons are promoting in this dealershipMAG- Maximus auto groupCompletely fraudulent companyI called them after I had problem with my tire. They told me to find place who can fix my tire and they gonna send a check to them . After I find a place MAG stop answering on my calls 🙂.I got answer from manager !Unfortunately cleaning car from odor and inspect already defective car in not really help, most likely just polite answer to take me off from schedule.All information and documents about two defective cars sold by King Volkswagen and tire protection plan company I will provide to Federal Trade Commission.I hope all new VW Passats drivers are safe on US roads . Fuel injector malfunction can cause serious danger and people can be seriously injured and you guys ignoring that because of the profit .

I’m posting this as a very happy customer of King Volkswagen! I worked with Chris Evans at King to purchase a new Volkswagen Atlas... from across the country. I live in Southern California, and King had the best deal out there on the new car I wanted. I found them online, and I got connected to Chris to help me with the purchase. He was fantastic at communicating throughout the entire process. I never once saw the car in person until it showed up in front of my house in California. Chris did a great job answering all of my questions and made me feel at ease about the purchase. It was a great experience with these guys! Thanks so much for such a smooth transaction!

Was in negotiations for a particular vehicle. Was treated gruffly by the salesperson during our first phone interaction. After a couple more brief interactions to work out details of a potential purchase, he turned downright insulting and rude. I chose to speak with management twice about this, and was dismissed both times without the courtesy of a reply. Avoid this dealership if you have any respect for yourself.

This place is a joke. You have to sift through the so called “five star” ratings in order to understand the truth behind these one star reviews. Called to work a deal and spoke with Marcela. Ended up having to call her back, with some lame excuse. Spoke to Lev the sales manager, who was “crunching numbers” and would return with a call back within the hour. Still no call, leaving for the day. Stay away from this stealership. Poor communication and lousy customer service.

This is the dealership to go to. Am still amazed at how fast and smooth the process went. I went in with no appointment and within 4 hrs I was done. My sales representative Alex Miniushin was so helpful. Took me every step of the way and took time to explain the details. Andrea Moreno took me through finances and within no time I was done. Excellent dealership. Worked with Sacha (salesperson) and David (Finance Manager). Sacha wase very helpful in providing photos and talking prices with me remotely before I made the trip up from Raleigh NC to buy. Not pushy at all in person, which I appreciated. David was also very helpful on the day of the sale by providing a thorough and transparent explanation of my financing options and what made most sense for my situation.

Pass this place by if you value your time and sanity. Internet pricing is a fraud—if you are a unicorn that qualifies for every incentive then that price will be for you. However, back in the real world you’ll just waste your time. They came in $2000 over two quotes from local dealers. Who does business this way? They also refuse to email pricing.Perhaps it’s a totally different experience in person but I doubt it. On a positive note, Marcella was very responsive and helpful.Lots of choices on where to buy your next VW—shop elsewhere.

I didnt buy my GTI here, but I stopped by for a service because this is the closest from the new place I moved. The service department is a lot better than any other VW dealer you can drive to in the area. All personnel I have talked to from an advisor to mechanic were very friendly. I am changing my regular service place to here.

The reason Im writing this review is that I dont want anyone to have the same experience as me and wasting time with this dealership.Had worst experience ever... As a customer, I want to compare each vehicle with quotes from different dealers. I have asked for quotes over the email. I understand some dealers dont want to share the quotes. Thats fine. But if a customer already told not to call/text but want the quote over the email, please dont call me.Instead of getting a quote, I got an email reply saying I dont get paid until you drive off the lot with my car, so with that being said what is in it for me? This is the exact sentence that the dealer used. It was really unfortunate that this dealership is doing business with these work ethics. After I respond, the dealer also replied back mentioning that salesperson work on commission based and I should not mention anything about work ethics. I dont believe this is true because there are lot of places where Salesperson really works in pride and regardless whether its based on commission or not.I honestly dont want anyone to have the same experience as me. Dont waste time with this dealership. Find another dealership where they are willing to help you. This place clearly shows that they dont care about the customers but only themselves.

Chris Evans was great to work with and buying my new beetle went smoothly (except for a bit of a computer outage). He followed up a couple of days after my purchase to answer any questions that came up. I also like John, one of the finance managers, a lot !!! great goup of people working there and i love my new bug.

Scheduled a 40k service and 4 new tire purchased with installation for my 18 Tiguan with Michael (great service Rep). But when I picked up my vehicle I inspected the vehicle before driving off the lot and noticed damage to one of wheels. Told Michael damaged looked fresh and he took pictures of it, told me he would talk to the installer and call me back. He then said he needed to talk to the manager about it. Got a call the next day and was told they wanted to check on the video cameras to see if the wheels were damage when I drop off the vehicle. I told him that was great and just to call me to get this resolved as soon as possible. They never did, good thing I paid with my Amex, they have great customer support to dispute this charge bcuz King VW did not deliver goods or service in good condition.

Only good thing about kingVW was they had the cars i wanted. The rest of the office experience was a multi- month nightmare.
