NTB Woodfield Rd Gaithersburg was top notch! I called to find some A/T tires and Lucas took care of me all the way. I wanted to get the biggest size without rubbing and Lucas made it happen. The techs in the garage had all 5 tires mounted and balanced up too the minute they promised. I will be coming back for my next service. Thanks crew!

We were putting air in my tire at home when the pin on the intake valve got stuck inside - we’ve never had that happen before and thought we’d need to replace a part! So my husband and I ran up to NTB where Will greeted us and was able to pull the pin out in no time! Thanks for the great service, Will, and helping us out of a jam!

I received excellent service for a synthetic oil change today, which took approximately 1.5 hours to accomplish. It is my recommendation you schedule an appointment as this location is quite busy.(When I hear people complain about an oil change taking more than an hour, I must ask, do you want them to rush the job or would you rather have just a few minutes of patience and receive superior care for your vehicle? Schedule your time accordingly and just let these gentlemen do their job properly without throwing fits like children or passive aggressively leaving reviews).I know a few things about cars and didnt feel pressured at all to complete any extra work. In fact, my own brake check (I had measured myself) was confirmed by the shop, which showed me their honesty that I very much appreciated.Lucas genuinely cares about his job and takes pride in it; I appreciated him telling me about some upcoming repairs to keep an eye on (including brakes). Will is also very nice and the customer service was truly friendly without being shady or distrustful as we all inevitably encounter sometimes in life.I will be returning to this location for oil changes (very affordable compared to JL or Valvoline!) and other car care. Overall, 100% happy with my experience. Cheers!

I went to the ntb in Towson and ended up getting a new tire except they messed up the fittings and it was leaking, the wood field location replaced the fittings and got me on my way for free. Love these dudes. Amazing service

I went to two different gas stations to put air in a low tire - both air compressors were out of order, as I was about to look for a third gas station, I found myself in front of NTB in Gaithersburg. Lucas was incredibly kind and helpful, and for no cost checked all of my tires and topped them off as needed. I really appreciated his quick help and level of customer service.

Amazing service. They were able to properly balance my tires that were out of balanced. They were balanced 4 separate times at different locations before bring it to NTB and they got it done in one shot. Their service is out standing!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Reached out to this location for an oil change and a possible tire rotation. The service over the phone by Lucas was superb. When I arrived Lucas was ever more helpful. I was a last minute add to the schedule, willing to wait as long as it takes that day. I got to witness him having several high quality interactions with customers with all kinds of requests/needs. He gave full attention to each customer whether in store or over the phone. When we spoke about my car, he shared added details to ensure I fully understood the topic we were discussing with clear examples. I highly recommend this location, even the mechanic (didnt catch his name but learned he previously worked at a Chick-Fil-A) that I interacted with was very polite and helpful.

NTB Tires is great! I have used them for a long time. Their customer service is always good. I even used to go them when they were known as Merchants.

I got my oil changed at Gaithersburg location, the team is nice but the office environment is extremely filthy. I was waiting in the customer lounge, the area is so cluttered and bathroom was extremely filthy and smelled so bad. It seemed like it was not cleaned In ages. The whole place needs to be cleaned and disinfected. I feel ashamed of uploading pictures of bathroom, but I hope someone will pay close attention to the problems.

I was able to get the work I needed done one time and fast.

I had an amazing experience today and I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks to the staff for replacing my tires and the alignment. My car rides like it’s brand new! Thank you again!!

I went in with a tire puncture, they took me without an appointment and fixed my tire in less than an hour. The guys that work here are nice and the price for the repair was reasonable. I dealt with Jack and Lucas at this location and it was a pleasure and very easy process. I called for an oil change and they let me know it includes the price of the oil filter and a tire rotation which was great and I was able to drop off my car and pick up the same day. Highly recommend NTB and this location!

The people are nice, and the work seems to be good, but waiting 5 hours to have 4 tires put on with an appointment is a little excessive to put it nicely. Even a packed Costco/BJs could do it in 3 at most. If you’re a fleet, I’d shop around, you could definitely demand faster work, especially with the larger national accounts.

I was in a rush and they were able to get me in and out in no time.

There was justs something untrustworthy about this place. I was not acknowledged when i came in and then spoken to like a little lady who couldnt possibly understand what they were talking about. And they were trying to upsell another woman who just needed her car to be drivable until she replaced it. If you dont know cars and need someone you can trust dont go here.

Horrible experience with this shop! My fiance had an appointment at 8am this morning to change the tires. He was there at 7:50am and at 8:06 they already had his car in the back. At 10am, after waiting 2 hours he goes outside to check on the car. The car is up, nothing is even started and the workers are just relaxing on their phones. So my fiance goes back to the front desk guy and reports it, explaining that he needs to be on his way to Pennsylvania by 11am. They promised they are starting right away and shouldn’t take long. It’s 12:38pm as I am writing this review. He is still waiting and only 3 tires are changed so far. Do not go here! Your time is too valuable to be wasted here.

Lucas Shauck who works front counter is a literal con artist. I made an appointment online for 1pm for an alignment and my car wasn’t done until 6pm. I couldn’t pick it up so my fiancé had to and sure enough instead of them charging the normal price they charged the “advanced/lifetime alignment” for $40 more. My car wasn’t even aligned when I got it back and they tried to upsell her on everything. Just be careful if you go to this place. He’s also pretty rude.

We have purchased tires and other services from NTB in the past so they immediately came to mind when I needed new tires. I made an appointment ahead of time (a week in advance) to get new tires installed on my SUV. My appointment was for the timeframe of 9 am - 10 am. I show up and after waiting 10 minutes to check Im told Im an hour late. I show them my email confirmation of my appoint time for 9 am, the sales guy tells me, the customer, that I should have called them to confirm my appointment because their online booking system sometimes makes errors and the system does not accurate block off time for the service booked. 1. I did call them the day before. 2. If there are known issues with your booking system, then management should be confirming appointments and not wasting customers time.Needless to say I was not waiting around for them to fit me in when Im the customer spending $900.00 on new tires. Someone with a better scheduling system and customer service will be happy to take my money and not waste my time. Needless to say we will no longer be purchasing tires or anything else from NTB.

Went to see Lucas because the store in Rockville/Hungerford Dr trashed my tire and then lied to me about why the patch wouldnt hold. Lucas gave great customer service. The Woodfield location is now my preferred store.

I was helped by this tall skinny guy Jack Schap, he was pretty nice, a little weird but seem like a honest guy. He was able to help me with repairing my tire, I came in late close to closing, but he helped me out and got me on the road, definitely recommend this shop and Jack for your tire needs!

Make sure to make an appointment for most services if you are wanting to go here on the weekend! I brought 2 cars to get their oils changed with a coupon and was asked to make an appointment for the next day as they were very busy, so we did. However when we arrived for our appointment, the mechanic said that he had only booked the appointment for 1 car, even though we specified 2 at the time of the appointment being made, and said it would take 2 hours rather than 1 to get both cars, and the job was done in that time.However, as the first car was finished, we noticed we were upcharged about $5 even though we specified we wanted the coupon price and a conventional oil change. They immediately refunded us the difference, and for the second car the oil change price was correct after we asked them to double check. The staff were very courteous to us when we interacted with them.As far as the waiting time goes, the building is quite nice, and there is a nook with about 10 chairs where you can sit and use your phone while you wait (there is free wifi, however, we didn’t try it). The building is also right next to an airport, so it’s fun to watch the planes land and take off. There are soda, coffee, tea, and water machines as well. Bring something to do while you wait, and make sure you ask for an itemized list before you pay your bill.

I was today at NTB at 1882 Woodfield Avenue in Gaithersburg / MD. The tire I bought had a bubble, brought to show and talk about my warranty, because the tire is clearly defective. The attendant said that I have no right to warranty, as it is a factory defect. I used the tire less than 5,000 miles, in a month it already has a defect! I contacted the online sector responsible for complaints, they informed me to go to the store where I bought the defective tire, and I received this bad news! Terrible!Ill never buy a tire at NTB again!

Overall the shop is a great place to get work done and especially when it’s crunch time and you have an emergency fix that needs to be taken care of. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. All the way from the front office clerk Mollie to the Master Service Tech Jeremy and the experienced Store manager Alex is the reason to keep coming back. Every car I own is handled with care there. Highly recommend.

The new Management here is light years ahead of where it was last year. I swore I’d never step foot back in that building, but after my last visit, I was blown away. Lucas at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t know what tires I wanted so Lucas explained what would be best for me after asking a couple questions about my driving habits. I called my dad for advice and Lucas even offered to speak with him and it made me feel very comfortable. I always thought cars were really confusing but he explained everything so well and he went above and beyond, I learned a lot. I’m not scared to go to a mechanic shop anymore. Also Lucas told me the store is going through a lot a changes for the better and it will only continue to get better. The Woodfield location is by far the best location in the area as it is now, I’m excited for my next oil change. The customer service was excellent and the work was performed in a timely manner and my car feels great now. I’ve noticed a couple other locations nearby either take way too long, or they’re backed up and too busy, or the service is just horrible. Hands down, this is my go to place for any of my car needs from now on. I’m sending my mom there for her next service too!
