This was my first service experience with Continental Imports and oh my god, I could not have asked for a better experience. Heidi was my advisor, and an excellent one. She has made me feel comfortable and well informed as to what was going on. I was never left in the dark. As a busy student, and one that does not know much about cars, I felt at ease throughout the whole process. Me and my Fiat thank Heidi and the rest of the team at Continental Imports! I will be going back for any services needed on my car in the future.

I typically do not submit customer reviews, but felt compelled with my recent service visit.In the past several months, many hours were spent scouring sources on the internet with hopes on finding a reputable team of auto specialists that would assist me with the procurement and installation of a custom suspension kit for my 2008 Toyota Camry. All around great service and great technicians. The first time I brought my car here I had a very big ongoing issue that other shops were unable to figure out and fix but Continental Imports was able to diagnose the problem and get everything working perfectly again. I have to give a big thanks to Jason, he kept me updated with everything that was going on and made sure me and the care were taken care of. I couldn’t be more happy with the level of service I received at Continental Imports, I’ve been back several times and they’ve never let me down. It’s a challenge to troubleshoot and repair any machine but seems to me it takes a particular mechanical mind to work on a Mercedes. The service department did an admirable job of almost fixing the shake in the drive train. I hope to return for the rest of the repair.

I would not take my car anywhere else. I have been doing business with these fine people for two and a half years. I came in after buying a used BMW 335i 2008 Sedan . I had previously taken it in to a dealership and the dealership could not access my computer which was posing to be a nightmare. Luckily I found CONTINENTAL Imports..... I knew theyd been in business for many years but that was all I knew. Dealerships told me my extended warranty was not worth the paper it was written on & couldnt access my computer. Well not only did I get a correct & accurate diagnosis but they took time and found issues that needed attention asap they also ask if I had bought an extended warranty on my car. I told them the Dealerships said it was no good. Well, it paid for itself many times in the beginning and continental Imports were great at doing all the paper work that was needed. That has been almost three years ago and I stand firm. I would not let anyone else maintain or repair my car. They keep it preforming like a brand new car. I love my car and I love my service shop. 💜 Everyone there goes out of their way to accommodate their customers, they offered to bring me three hours round trip home so I wouldnt have to rent a car. Who offers that on their own time ? These fine people certainly do......They are honest! I had no idea what I had bought but they did so many times I would come in and swear something was happening really bad and lots of places sadly would have let me keep thinking that. Not CONTINENTAL Imports, they fixed the problem and it was a minor problem that just sounded like a big problem so I know how honest they are... Heidi was very professional and treated me like family as always. Got me in the same day and it was ready when promised in two days. They have my 2005 SAAB running like a top again after clearing engine light and replacing thermostat & temperature sensor. That solved the problem. Over the years, their diagnosis has always fixed the problem I was experiencing. Which is quite a feat fir a car that has been out of production for quite a few years. Just getting parts can be challenging for this car.Over the years they have repaired my AC & fan motor, leaking moon roof drain, front end sushi on and other minor issues.Would highly recommend.

My daughter is at UF so it’s hard when something goes wrong with the car to get fast and honest help when you’re not around. Excellent service performed in a timely manner. Took in my daughters car (she’s from out of state) and they were able to replace the motor mounts and axels in the limited time that was available. Jason in the service department kept me well informed and was very professional in all out interactions. I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

They found repairs I needed no one else had found. It was expensive repairs but the best service, comfortable waiting room with snacks and coffee. Got me a rental when it would take time for parts to arrive. Jason is the best.

We spun a rod bearing on our 2012 Mini Cooper S. They found a used motor with half the miles, completely went through it. They also found out the turbo blades were damaged while they were in the process of reassembling the motor. They called and asked if we wanted a new, not just doing the work and jacking up the price. We are very happy with the quality of their work. The had even been detailed before we pick it up. 14 days from the day I dropped off my car to the day we pick it up. I talk to one person, RJ Hamel, the entire time it was it the shop. He was courteous, respectful and professional. Our Mini will always be worked on at Continental Imports, but I seriously doubt it will need it!

I brought in my beloved 2005 MB E320 CDI which has had some work done on it to make it pretty special. They fixed the AC as well as adjusted the suspension to ride perfectly along with some other minor repairs. They work was top notch and the service was overall excellent. I highly recommend them as a repair vendor and I found them as a referral from another repair shop which speaks to their reputation. My service advisor is Mike and he goes above and beyond to ensure my car is taken care of.

I have used Continental Imports for several years. I trust them to service my car and answer any questions or concerns I may have. Sometimes, the service may not be done that day, but I am informed of this when I take the car in. Everyone is kind and respectful.

If I could take all stars away I would. I was taken advantage of by this company because I was a woman who knew nothing about repairs. I spent a lot of money with them to fix my BMW. I got two new tires from them that are still under warranty but they refused to replace them. One is blown out. The other will eventually do the same. I called and spoke to Jason who said no we cant help you. How is that any kind of customer service or business ethics? If I was a vindictive person I could and would start a lawsuit against them for ripping me off and not honoring their warranties. Never will I return to this place again. Beware ladies if they you coming thru will take advantage of you. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

As a first time customer at Continential Imports, they blew me away with the quality of their service and support. I felt like I was a valued customer for years. Chris C was incredibly knowledgable with answering my questions about tires and making recommendations. Him and Jason were able to get me in right for an appointment right away. They even went above and beyond by detailing and cleaning the inside of my car and lots of other thoughtful touches. All in all--top knoch staff with great customer service. Highly recommend!

Continental Imports is my go-to place for general repairs and maintenance for my BMW. Best prices for oil changes and repairs. They have been great about fixing issues and letting me know about things that may become a problem in the future that they are keeping an eye on (and not in a way that makes you feel like they are just trying to do unnecessary repairs or upselling you). My most recent visit was prompted by a light on my dash. I called in with a request for a diagnostic and that I was due for an oil change. I dropped off my key and the car in the morning (usually I get a ride to work or home from their driver, but I had someone to drive me on this particular morning) and got a call about updates, options, and prices from Heidi in the early afternoon. She is always great about answering questions and being clear about what is absolutely needed vs what would be good to do. It would have been a same-day service, but I wanted to get ahead of a maintenance issue that would have brought me back before my next oil change so I had them order a part and the car was able to be completed before the end of the next day. I highly recommend their services.

Unbelievably Awesome Service - I was referred to Continental Imports for warranty work on my Tundra. The customer service was outstanding and Jason made it so. The office staff also made a difference. I will definitely give Continental Imports the opportunity to work on my vehicles in the future as long as they continue to treat me right.

Used Continental for small engine repairs on my 2013 Honda Civic and they are awesome! Entire experience was easy and convenient. Definitely recommend this shop .

Brought in my Honda for routine maintenance and an oil change. The service department kept me well informed about the services that were needed (and some additional ones that were recommended) as well as timeline for completion. They also cleaned my car after servicing it, and it was the cleanest its ever been since I bought it. Will definitely be returning in the future.

If you’re still using a dealership over these people, you are crazy. Great service, far better prices and my car runs better than it has in years. I always talk to Mike and his professionalism is outstanding. He’s honest and with his advice I save money in the long run. Some of the best customer service I’ve seen in Gainesville.

I took two vehicles, both are Volvos, to them for service and they did an excellent job of examining them for a purchase. They did a great repair on one and washed them both. We have raced cars and owned all kinds of vehicles and this was the best place we have ever been to for service.

I have had ups and downs with them. I was not saying anything but they asked. What seems to be a pattern from talking to others is that you leave the car for one thing and then get the dreaded call from Heidi about all the other things wrong. No pressure but “just so you will know.” For me once it was an oil leak but my oil gauge always said fine. So I had it repaired and within 3 weeks the oil gauge says I am low on oil. I took it back and got a long speech about cars like mine use a lot of oil although mine had not used any until they fixed it. On the plus side, without admitting they had screwed up, they fixed it a second time and gave me a free quart of oil. It has not used oil since so so much for they use oil explanation. I tried them again and guess what? Oil leaks. They gave me a 5000 estimate so I took it to the dealer. One oil leak, according to the dealer was because the wrong sized gasket had been installed. The second was the real thing and I had the dealer fix it. Bottom line, I probably will not be back but they seem very popular with others so you should try them and see how it goes. But be ready for the Heidi call.

I visited continental imports because the battery was discharging whilst the vehicle was parked.The technicians ran a diagnostics test and using BMW on line service.The problem was identified and successfully resolved at an economical cost.The service crew both Heidi and Darryl were awesome and worked with me to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.Go Gators!

I needed a oil change and no Porsche dealership would help me when I found Continental Imports. WATCH OUT for the Financing for Repairs. Its actually a HARD INQUIRY on your Credit Report that will lower your Score even though the person at the Counter will assure you that it wont affect your Credit Score (found out the hard way). Thats what I was told when I asked several times because I was concerned about my score being affected. She even used the term Soft Inquiry. I was just at the Credit Fico Score needed to get my place at an affordable low $400 Deposit special, then all of a sudden, I received a call stating that I didnt qualify for the Move-in Special price anymore and would need to pay a Full $2,200 deposit since my Credit Score went down from months ago when they 1st checked when we discussed in advance my moving-in. I requested my report from the 3 Credit Bureaus to find out what was new on my report to cause this and Lo & Behold... the Hard Inquiry from Continental Imports dropped my Score. This was back in 2018.I was not able to afford any deposits out there, my lease was due to expire in less than 60days since it was not renewed because my plans were to move into the new place. So, I went through hell & back to find a place that wasnt so high to move-in which was in a Crummy run-down poor income neighborhood with poor plumbing. The Hard Inquiry remained on my Credit Report for an entire year, it didnt fall off until after actually over 12mos. Lesson learned.

I used to take my cars to the dealerships, but theyve changed my mind and found a new customer for life! I know that I can bring my vehicles to them and Ill get an honest, fair response. Continental Imports treated my car great and gave it a full inspection, gave me notes after my service about future repairs that would be helpful and did not charge any extra for it. One of the owners, Heidi, reached out to me personally during the service to update me on these notes and to keep me up to speed with my car. She - and everyone else working there who I interacted with - was super nice and understanding, taking the time to explain the full problems with my car and how to go about repairing those issues. I was stressed out about the car problems but Heidi was very supportive over the phone! At the end of the service they also gave my car a full external & internal cleaning, which was free and unexpected. All in all, this was a great place to go for my service as it was a reduced price to a dealership and the people there are genuine and care about their customers. I will be coming back and recommend it to those with foreign cars and want a better price than at the brand dealership!

My CLA was stalling on the eco start stop. It was diagnosed as the utility battery and replaced without delay. Continental makes sure your car is returned clean! Jason, the service representative, kept me informed the entire process and is extremely helpful.

They do excellent meticulous work. Keep records of all the work done on your vehicle and update you on scheduled maintenance and recalls. They diagnosed an issue with my Mercedes that was recall and they drove it to Mercedes for the work and brought it back. They even diagnosed an air bag trouble light as a Hyundai recall issue and even offered to take it to the dealer. Their customer service ethic is off the chain.

My experience at Continental Imports has always been a good one. I stumbled onto this place in 2015 and my 750LI and I couldnt have found a better place to be cared for. Now, I take my GLC300 and the professionalism continues. All recommended services and repairs taken care of here at a fraction of the dealer cost. If I could take my Citadel to them for all recomended services I would. 100% recommend.

New GTI SE Apr Stage 1+ and closed air intake. Mike is honest and awesome! He fit me in in between customers and explained why I should go stage 1+ instead of stage 1. Its bc my car is new, and has all of its factory warranty left. If VW fails to pay on a claim, APR warranty kicks in. I drove almost 3 hrs bc Continental Imports reputation reaches around the country with zero advertising.

I have had a very bad experience with 5 different Mercedes benz service departments that made me believe they was messing with my car to continue to bring it back to them i got fed up & took it to this place I found on google, What a amazing place I have found they took care of all my problems at half the price Mercedes was charging me omg‼️ I will definitely bring my car here time & time again. This place is amazing. The only complaints I heard from some of my friends is that it’s a little expensive compared to others. But if you want me to be honest, I do prefer paying more money for a place that you know they will take good care of your car. A place where you can leave you car for days and not worry about them scratching your car or they accidentally brake something and they tell you they found it like that for more money, blah blah.They also don’t pressure you. Many places they tells you that you NEED many stuff so they can get money of you. Even things you don’t really need. This place will tell you exactly what you need and help you find something not to expensive. I usually go to Mike from Sales. He is honestly amazing and always make sure my car is in good hands. When mike isn’t there the other people take care of me just like mike. They are all super friendly, organized and clean. And after they work on your car they actually clean it so it comes back to your hands all nice and clean.I will always pick this place to work on my car. Is the only shop I trust with my car.

Reliable, professional and extremely competent. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. I have much more confidence in their work than the local VW dealer, though they are a bit more expensive for scheduled maintenance. If they ran specials occasionally on routine work like oil changes so they were more price competitive, Id award them five stars since their work certainly rates it.

I have a 2016 BMW 435i That just got done with some modifications in the engine +4 new tires and I’ll tell you guys the car feels so much better very professional guys from my experience I’m coming back to them to add more modifications to the car in the future but if you guys want to get in touch with them give them a call they got five stars for me Hell of an experience

This review is long overdue, in fact I’m embarrassed at how long it took me to write this, but these two folks who own this shop, Darren and Heidi, are top notch. They run a very clean, professional shop, and they are extremely fair and honest. Once you walk into the shop, you can tell they absolutely love import and exotic cars.I’ve taken my wife’s car to them twice. The first time, it was a big engine job. They did it quickly and correctly, for a price I felt was definitely fair. It’s been almost two years and the work is still running strong.The second time I took my wife’s car in, the problem turned out to be something that wasn’t too difficult to fix. Instead of just quoting me to fix it, Darren came and talked to me and asked me if I’d prefer for him to just show me what to do and how to do it, and let me take care of it myself at home. Of course I accepted his offer. How many mechanics will do that for you? I was personally shocked he was willing to share his knowledge for free.If you’re looking for a fair, honest, clean and professional shop, you can’t beat this place.

I have never written a review before, but Continental Imports is without a doubt deserving of my first one. Heidi and Darren, along with Mike, truly care about their customers first and foremost. My husband and I began going to them just a few years ago, but they immediately made us feel as if we were customers of long-standing. After my husband passed away, I continued, and will continue, to go to Continental Imports because I trust them completely - they not only do excellent diagnostics to figure out what the problem is, but also then fix the problem expertly. In addition, if a repair is not vital at that particular time, they will tell you that instead of just automatically adding it to the bottom line. Prior to any road trip, I take my car to Heidi and Darren for them to make sure everything is in good shape because I know they will check it over completely to ensure I have no problems on the trip. I am extremely comfortable speaking to them about any issues with the car, and as I said, have complete and total trust in them. I can not recommend Continental Imports any more highly!

Heidi, and the rest of her team at Continental Imports could not have done a better job. From the first phone contact with Heidi, I knew I was in very competent and professional hands. She walked me through the entire process as I had never purchased tires online before, and made me feel very much at ease with her level of patience and knowledge. The tires were shipped out, and arrived the next day when I called and made an appointment for installation and alignment. When I arrived at Continental Imports, I was met by two gentlemen who greeted me and said that Heidi told them to be looking for me. Later that day, when my vehicle was ready, I was notified by a courteous phone call. They told where my completed vehicle was, and directed me to the office. The cashiers were practicing appropriate CDC suggested COVID-19 protocols as I made payment for the excellent work done, and I was also informed that my vehicle was sanitized as well. Heidi, the owner called and left me a voicemail as she was on a phone call and noticed I was paying, and wanted to meet me in person but was sorry that she was unable to do so. We talked later that evening and I told her how much I appreciated the way I was treated as well as the cleanliness of her facility and the staffs positive and friendly attitude. I cannot say enough positive about this wonderfully run business, and will certainly recommend them to friends, family and associates to Continental Imports.

Continental Imports is definately one of the best garage shops I have been serviced by. They always have given the best service they can provide and treat evrything of the qualities a dealership would. RJ is one of the staff that has always helped me and couldnt have asked for anyone better. Such a professional place and do plenty of work on high end vehicles and all others aswell. Top of the line high end car repair-If you have a high end car you know you really need to keep it serviced or oh boy bad news.I have found them top to bottom to be a #1 Knowledgeable shop to get and keep your vehicle running in top shape.I have two Audi and Mercedes and travel 65 miles to get there so that tells you what I think of them. Give them a try you’ll be impressed!

This was my first visit to Continental European Imports. Before entrusting my BMW 650i convertible to any European specialist, I did an exhaustive research and review of every shop in west central Florida. When I read the reviews and 40+ year history of CI it stood out like a shining star. After forgetting the convertible top down during a brief sun shower, I created a complex electrical issue wherein one window would not initialize causing the top, back window, and trunk lid to become disabled. I drove 60 miles to Continental and within a few hours of diagnostics and testing they resolved the problem without selling me any parts. The owners, Darren and Heidi Jones kept in constant touch with me during the diagnostic work as if my car was the only one in the shop. After seeing the volume of European cars in their shop, I was pleasantly surprised at how they are able to give every owner such personal attention. Also, I must add, the bill was quite reasonable. Needless to say, I will drive the 60 miles next time my Bimmer needs service.

Very professional and honest. Good communicators as well. Things werent perfect after the first visit, so they got my car back in the shop quick and didnt charge me for the first visit. Very fair. Appreciate all the help!Update from more recently, they helped update many parts on my 1988 Land Rover Defender, and they did a great job. Not an easy task, and they are very thorough!

Excellent customer service and communication. Their prices were also less than half of the Mercedes dealership. Would highly recommend and I will not go elsewhere for repairs or service in the future for my Mercedes.

Bottom line - Darren and his team are amazing..!! I was referred to them by a friend and I couldnt be happier. Great personalities, great customer service, great price and top-notch work. I cant thank them enough for the job they did on my Audi.
