I am incredibly impressed by the care and attention to detail that my car was given when I left it with Gatorland Collision Center. While it did take longer than expected, I had no problem as I was set up with a rental car, called frequently with updates, and given the confidence that my vehicle was in good hands. I feel like Im driving a brand new car now and am 100% satisfied with the services done! John in particular was a HUGE help!

My vehicle was in a minor fender bender and the estimator, John, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond in assisting me on dealing with the insurance companies. I was originally quoted a 3-4 day repair, but they were able to push it out in only 2. The repairs looked very well done and they even sent my vehicle through their car wash as the final touch.

Very quick turnaround. Juan the rep for me was wonderful about calling when car was finished and intermittently to tell me how the work was progressing. Hopefully will never have to use again but if there is body work with my car I will take it back here. The customer service was above and beyond.

From the day I dropped my 2007 Toyota Camry off until the 2nd day I picked it up, I received prompt courteous professional quality service. My back bumper had to be repaired & replaced. Not sure why all the negative reviews, however I must say my truck looks just like it did when I left the lot when I purchased it. Hit a deer on the ay to work one morning, completely wrecked the front bumper and radar system busted lights and altered the grill. Let me tell you they did an fantastic job on repairing my vehicle. I will admit they dont have the best communication skills however they did an outstanding job on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma. I Love My TRUCK trust me. Have no real complaints at all. Charlie was great and the customer service lady was as friendly as they come.

My friend had Geico insurance (which I do not recommend) they breached the contractual agreement of road side assistance, left her stuck in a mud puddle for over an hour, car sank into it. Thank god for country folk, they pulled her out.Even though car was running, Geico towed it from her apartment to gatorland collision to check car out. Over a month later - they ripped the enterior apart, left water in the carpet - to mildew.Finally drove car out of there to Nissan dealership.NO, THIS PLACE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL - THEY RUINED HER CARPET AND CAUSED HER A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF financial and emotional DISTRESS.I firmly believe, someone there was trying to steal her car under the guise of, it was too damaged when in reality - its not.They took advantage of an old lady.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.Frankly, I believe it should be investigated.

Gatorland Collision is a Direct Repair Facility for most major insurance companies - meaning they will cut corners to make your insurance company happy and profitable.Edit: theyve apparently been taken out of GEICOs repair partner program. They are that bad.This shop has no problem ignoring issues you bring up, and signing the car off as safe to drive despite parts not being properly fastened and attemting to come off.Their repairs covered up over $2000 in structural damage they were paid to repair. The manager, Dennis, has little to say other than that Im a liar.Their repairs lefts me stranded almost 200 miles from home, and they have nothing to say other than well look into it. I am glad my insurance company subrogated $8,000 of unfinished or otherwise incomplete repair work and vehicle rentals. They do not meet manufacturer standards for safe collision repair.

The center was referred by my insurance company and had the first available appointment in my area. The drop off was so smooth and easy. Enterprise rental is stationed there as well. I even bragged about it to my insurance adjuster. When my car was ready I received a very RUDE message from a lady named Veronica saying my car was ready come pick it up. If I use a credit card it’s a 3%up charge and if I write a check bring a drivers license. I left work early to rush and pick up my car. Upon pick up I was questioned about my check by the clerk, that was bumming cigarettes from one of the guys working there, because it didn’t match my drivers license address. The clerk called the “manager”. He agreed with the clerk and even said we have a lot of bad checks and I can’t take this check. They made me feel like they thought my check wasn’t any good. It was 5:30 and the bank was closed. I drove 45 minutes back home without my car. I took off work the next morning drove 45 minutes back to Gainesville to the bank to get cash. Long story to tell you don’t try to write them a check as instructed because they have too many bad checks. Either pay the 3% up charge on a credit card or bring cash. The great experience in the beginning was negated by horrible experience at the end. The body work looked fine. The customer service has a lot to be desired. I will report this to my insurance company with hopes they will not use this center has a referral.

Wonderful service. Streamline process. Ralph always answered my phone calls and didn’t leave me hanging. They turned an unfortunate experience into a great one by providing me with all the information and instructions I needed to get my car repaired. They dealt with the insurance company so I didn’t have to. Not to mention the way they work with Enterprise is so streamlined, I was picked up by Enterprise and put in a wonderful rental car that day. They went the extra mile for me and my car came out looking better than it did when I brought it in! Washed, vacuumed, and freshly painted. Love Gatorland Collision Center!

Terrific experience! Considering I had to come due to an accident, they made the entire repair process stress free and completely delivered on exactly what they say theyll do! They delivered above par work with even higher cuatcust service! Jason was absolutely fantastic and stayed in great communication throughout the process. They went the extra mile for me to get the parts and I cant say enough about how great they were from start to finish! If I ever need anything done again, these guys are the ones Ill come to because I am so impressed with my experience. They guarantee their work for life also, and I know theyll deliver. I like driving a good looking car. I drove enough dented rust buckets in my youth so now keeping my cars looking new is important to me. I have had several encounters with this business the last one was a tree limb falling and doing my car in in several areas. When I got my car back from them it looked like it just came out of the dealers showroom. The staff was thorough in going over every repair they did with me and making sure i was happy with the results. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I was in a very minor collision and was told my car needed a new fender and alignment. I was told it would take 5 days to complete.Over a month later I still do not have my vehicle. It has been sprayed and re-sprayed 3 times. My old bumper was sent to a chemist which took 2 weeks. Then, I was told there was over-spray on the vehicle that needed to be clay barred by a professional detailer. Then, I was told the clay bar job didnt look good and it had to be rebuffed. Rebuffing happened, wasnt good enough, happened again. Then I was told that they never did the alignment - even though the car was sitting for weeks while waiting for the chemist to get back to them and that would have been the perfect opportunity to do the alignment. Then, I was told that they had to take the car to Audi to do the alignment because they didnt have the right equipment in house. That added another few days.Almost daily Ive been given a new pick up date, which is always a day or two in the future. At this point, Im not sure when Ill get my car back and have lost all confidence in their ability to accurately estimate when itll be ready. Further, Ive had to initiate contact with them rather than them being proactive in contacting me when things go wrong.The only saving grace they have at this point is that the advisor Ive worked with, Jason, has been very professional and courteous. Hes always been up front with me and even when the news is bad he shares it with me. He also took care of getting me a rental car when they missed their first deadline by more than 3 days which was appreciated and a nice thought. His professionalism made me contemplate giving a 2 star review but I feel a 2 star review would give this place too much credit. Stay away!

My wife took her car here through her insurance and waited 1 week for her car repairs. When she brought the car home, she didn’t notice that the hood was still uneven and not flush with the bumper. When I finally saw the car and examined it, I asked her to call the insurance! Luckily they told us all we had to do was take the car back there and let them repair it. Thank god for Geico because without them we would have been coming out of pocket for something that was overlooked by “certified mechanics”. The only reason I am not giving them a 1 star because it’s an insurance claim and my one deductible covers this as well so I’m not to butt hurt but I do want to let everyone know to follow-thru by inspecting your own vehicle especially when dealing with the shops who like to cut corners and save on labor/material!

Go somewhere else, anywhere else.I rarely write reviews but I had such a poor experience here that I wanted to make it known. After having initial issues getting answers from them I was able to get my car towed to the lot. They gave me an estimated 5-7 business days, by the time I was able to get my car back it was over 3 weeks later. I received no calls from them and had to contact them every time I wanted to know why my car wasnt ready. On top of that, the technician I worked with was extremely patronizing and (I rarely use this word) misogynistic. I will say they fixed my car and I didnt have any issues but the overall experience was simply not worth it.

This shop was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even with my car being deemed a total loss, I never felt that I was just another number. My adviser, Jason, handled my claim rather quickly and efficient and provided all the documents needed to my insurance company with little to no wait. He was very thorough on his assessment and found damage i hadnt even realized was attributed to my accident! This makes my loss so much easier to bear when its being handle so quickly. Knock on wood I dont, but if I get into another accident- I will be sure to bring my car back to Gatorland- and specifically Jason only!

I’ve had okay experiences here. The first time I had work done here, everything was perfect except a scratch on the brand new hood that I let slide, barely noticeable. But the second car I brought had panels that didn’t line up, and after a closer inspection revealed several trim pieces that were never reattached properly. Will try Buchholz Autobody next time.

Front desk is not professional. They do not understand the process well. They will also get a copy of your driving license as a proof of your payment which I do not know why. Collision center do not have any policy that they will not share your info to third party. You cannot pay using your credit card as you have to pay 3% extra. Do not go there unless you have to.

“It’s a 5 minute repair.” A month later, and after 10 calls every day getting “He’s at lunch” “He went home” “He’s not in can you leave a message” It’s his day off.” Still haven’t seen anything done after a faulty repair that made a part of my grill fly off when they should’ve been on it rather than say they’d have to make sure it wasn’t my fault (NOT A SCRATCH IN SIGHT) which after a diagnostic test it wasn’t which I knew they knew. Said they’d thoroughly look at my car first time but got me in late, we’re really no help at all telling me it was fixed after sitting for days. Don’t know why I expected anything exceptional. My mistake! This review ain’t going anywhere either until they do right & stop being only worried about customers with big names & dollar signs after it. Y’all are chasing the wrong people forgetting a majority of your income is small repairs so don’t ignore those. For those reading this GO TO A FAMILY BUSINESS where your time is valued, and every dollar. 5 stars if I was rating by least giving of an F. At this point don’t even want them to touch my car because they’d probably just break something 😂 I’ll call my StateFarm agent & get more done in a minute with them than y’all do in a day because what I’m telling all of you fine people ain’t even all of it.

Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have nothing but good things to say. First my 2017 Rav4 was backed into at work. Geico got me a rental and I had the car back in a day. I couldnt even tell the bumper cover was damaged. I also filed a claim on my corolla for the bumper cover and some body damage. I dropped off the car on the 8th right before Irma. While it did take some time for repairs to proceed and finish, they did a good job and the new bumper cover and paint look fantastic. I then had them repaint my hood and mirrors on my own dollar since it would look bad. I must say that they did a wonderful job with those two items and they also took care of a few dents on the hood- all for a pretty good price! Brain and the rest of the team treated me well. I will probably go back here for future body work on my vehicles. Also I forgot to mention that my corolla was really dirty both inside and out when I dropped it off. They did me a huge favor and cleaned it up really well, almost to a detail level both inside and out. I really appreciate that beyond measure.

Stay away from this place at all costs! I cant even begin to describe my experience but it is similar to other 1 star reviews. Taking over 2 months to get my car back which was siad to take 2 weeks. Having to call them yo see what was going on. When I received my car back after two months I drove it home to find the rear axle was still broken! You cant make this stuff up during their test drive they somehow missed a broken axle......that alone says stay clear. Took over a year of back and forth for ke to get them to fix most of the noticable things wrong.....I wonder what might be unoticible! Bottom line please if you value your ride stay away. I was even met with hostility by the manager multiple times becuase I would come back so many times since they never got it right. I couldnt switch places either becuase they had already been paid and insurance wont pay twice the shop has to fix what they got piad for so it was a nightmare.

Service is horrendous. I called up there several times and would be put on hold for 20 min. I would have to hang up and call back to get any response. The repair look like something you would get from a shade tree machine. After getting my car back I had to take it back the next day to get the over spray off the windows. I will never take anything there again.

Lied about how long it was going to take to complete the car repair, by days. Extended my rental car payments by a couple hundred dollars because they told me it was going to be 4 days to get it repaired. They got backed up they said, excuses. I dared to ask a question and was immediately berated. It is the opposite of customer service. After I was yelled at on the phone I went to get the car and take it elsewhere. I hadnt ever been there (my wife dropped off the car) and they never asked me for any ID whatsoever, they just gave me the key. Gainesville BMW should stop sending their customers to this disgruntled group.Dont do it!

Very poor experience with Gatorland Collision Center after Hurricane Irma. My car was towed there on 9-14-17 for flood damage. Minimal water entered the vehicle. Aprroximately 4-6 inches. This is a Geico ARX facility so repairs should be quick and well organized. Tuesday 9-19-17 I get a call from Gatorland saying they havent received a claim number or initial damage estimate from the adjuster and they needed that to proceed. Im getting worried that the vehicle is sitting there getting moldy and increasing the damages. Thursday 9-21-17 I call again and they say they still have not received paperwork from Geico and need to speak with my adjuster. So I call Geico to see what is going on and they claim to have sent over all necessary paper work on 9-19-17. The following Monday 9-25-17 my adjuster goes to Gatorland to ensure they are proceeding with the claim. Wednesday 9-27-17 I get a call from my adjuster saying that Gatorland Collision recommends the car be totaled based on its visual appearance. After the car has been sitting wet for almost two weeks! He tells them they need to pull the seats and itemize all the damages. So now Friday 9-29-17 I get a call from a different adjuster and he tells me he recommends the car be totaled and that it is full of mold. That many of the electronics are damaged. And that it will be too much money to proceed with repairs.

This collision center is absolutely the worst repair center I have ever had the displeasure of going to. After getting into an accident and being unable to take my BMW anywhere else because it was not driveable my insurance suggested Gatorland. The total repair time for my vehicle totaled just over 65 hours but they had my car for over 7 weeks! Not only that but when I called to check on my vehicle and sent emails I was always sent to voicemail because my representative (Matthew Wilson) was always on vacation or never available and never returned my emails or voicemails. The only reason I knew my car was ready after 7 weeks, was because my car rental company on behalf of my insurance called them and inquired how much longer the repairs were going to take in order to extend my rental contract. Then after I picked up my vehicle one of the main repairs was cheaply done and immediately started to malfunction (trunk lock would not close properly). I decided instead of dealing with their rude customer service or having to wait another 2 months to get my vehicle back to take it to service center in my local area. My local service center found that they hadnt replaced the lock they had said they had and instead of using Genuine BMW or OEM parts, they used cheap generic parts that caused my cars computer to malfunction. Luckily I did not have to pay this place directly but I reported them to my insurance company so that they didnt have to waste their money on poor service and unsatisfactory/incomplete work. I wish I could give them no stars because 1 star is too good for this business. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A MECHANIC OR BODY SHOP - DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER TOWN!

HORRIBLE place.. first time i took my car there they used a cheap technique to fix my car without my knowledge... Recently after an accident i took my car again only to have my car amplifier STOLEN after leaving it there over the weekend.
