Really pleased. Had the hood repainted on our 2005 Highlander. Job was done sooner than promised and is excellent. Price was commensurate with the degree of difficulty. Flawless.

Stay away and save your time and money. They have a great sales pitch, but their work was ver shabby. My normal go-to body shops were backlogged, so I took a chance with Maaco. The price ($1200) was the same that I would’ve paid normally, but the work looked like that of a 5th grade art student. They pledged to make it right, but would not accommodate my schedule. After paying, an additional $300 for an additional week in a rental car, I wasn’t interested in paying again and hoping that they would correct their substandard paint correction. Again, stay far, far away.

HORRIBLE experience. Bad work, theft from my vehicle, illegal acts, bad customer service. Have to sue now.I was suppsed to get a paint job on my car and have several body work issues corrected. The car was returned once to me after a week but I saw it didnt have body work corrected that was supposed to be and a logo was missing. After over another week it was still didnt have all of the body work done and the car had been trashed inside. Even after I paid anyway they tried to make me sign waiver forms under duress by taking away my car key until I signed them. NEVER do business with these people.Update: Despite their response, they refused to return any phone calls or emails.

A lengthy review but its worth it. I am extremely impressed by Maaco! Long story short I hit a deer and went through an insurance company recommendation at Gerber Auto Repair. Gerber was going to charge an arm and a leg and almost cost me my car. I took the car to Maaco an they were able to do ALL of the same repairs for almost 2k less!! Not only that, they conducted the estimate on the spot an I knew the price in 20mins, it took Gerber over a day just to get the estimate. Gerber couldnt tell me when my car would be fixed. Maaco on the other hand gave me an estimate an then finished the work a day early! An then to top it off they did a damn good job, couldnt recommend anyone better.

I had my 2001 GMC pick up truck painted. Jason the manager handled my trucks painting. Jason is a true professional. He paid attention to detailsFinding a few flaws in the paint job. He had them corrected. The painters and body men paid attention and care of things in the truck that wasn’t supposed to be painted. I must say, no runs, or over spray problems. Bottom line, an excellent job. At a very reasonable price. I’m extremely happy. May note that I drove from Ocala to Gainesville MAACO to get my truck painted. I’m not a robot and I don’t like leaving reviews. So the fact I’m leaving one should say a lot. They all answered the phone when I called and had great customer service. The process was very quick and simple, I needed to get some paint issues/foreign material removed from my car and they got it done in less than 36 hours which was quick for me. Would highly recommend 10/10 service!

We drive over an hour with our two children in two different trucks to drop my boyfriends truck off to get painted, as another truck that was owned there was painted he had bought from a friend whom he’s no longer friends with, long story short we get to the booth to drop truck off after scheduling appointment beginning of March, here it is April 1st and the guy he spoke with is a older guy he told him (which we are paying for our paint ) that he didn’t want to work with my bf because of his attitude the woman whom answers the phone told my fiancé $2,000 and up, the guy assumed my bf was thinking he was getting it done for $2,000 which was not the case. We know paint jobs are expensive and not cheap. So my bf than said “well then the lady must have lied” and the guy says “well I’m not working with you take your truck somewhere else because you’re not getting your truck done for $2,000 and saying we are lying. I went in to speak with them myself to ask them to reconsider doing it, and the other guy who did his ex friend Peytons truck than proceeds saying he doesn’t have time but scheduled us to come in and get the paint done and drop truck off (which was today) he gave no clarification other than what he did for Peyton was a special thing and that he won’t do it for my bf and that he is going to pass. So since that guy is almost like family with my bfs ex friend he refused service because they’re no longer friends. That is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to and for them to say we wouldn’t be happy with the paint says a lot.

Everyone at the Gainesville Maaco was really great. I mainly dealt with Jason who was professional and courteous and made me very comfortable leaving my 2003 Jaguar XK8 convertible for a full paint job. I had work done a few years back. The paint was fine but whoever worked my car was completely untrustworthy. I forgot my child PSP in the car and turned around about 5 minutes after dropping my car off. I asked about the PSP and everyone claims to have not seen it. Lies! I knew it was in my car I had just forgot to take it out. Please take all your belongings out. Triple check to be sure. Empty your change too just to be safe. I’ll never do business with them again!!!!!!!!

Brought in my wrecked car after it was hit while parked. They were helpful with towing and holding onto the car while we worked out insurance details. I ended up releasing the car to insurance so no work done, but the towing was quick and staff was super helpful and kind. Recommend!

They had the car for three weeks all together. They did not fix all the issues, we just got tired of not having a car. Chips, runs, not painted spots, overspray, and bubbles all the way around the car in an location that was close to an edge. Over all horrible job. They were nice every time we pointed out problems but there would be new ones and not all would be fixed😡

Ashley was very nice and professional when it can wit quoting me on the repair. The repair looked great but they missed a small area underneath the door handle that would be hard to notice if you weren’t looking for things that aren’t obvious. Not bothering enough to bring it back and be out of a vehicle another day.

Called in to get an estimate over the phone for a rough ball park range on a paint job for my car.Jason, the guy I talked to, said that he couldn’t do an estimate because he’d have to see the car in person to determine preparation work.I said I understood but I was getting an idea as in a range and he said they don’t do that.Clearly this guy doesn’t know his own company because on the company website you can get an online estimate based off the type of paint job, including scratches, dents, etc and based on which parts.I had called in to see if their “estimate” was in the ball park of what their online service says.

They did an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME job. The owner gave me a fare price to paint my 1986 F150 and I couldnt be more happier. Ive gotten several comments in traffic and was more than happy to tell them where I got it painted . I restore trucks and will bring many many more there.

I should have know this would be a bad experience. On the phone when scheduling the appointment, the man told me the price was $30 higher than what I was quoted. It was still cheaper than other quotes I had received, so I just went with it. On the phone he told me that I could drop the car off Monday morning and it would be finished no later than Tuesday afternoon. When I got to the shop, after going through all of the paperwork, he says we may have it done by Wednesday. I stopped and explained that I was already being given a higher price than what I was told and I could not wait that long. The man proceeded to yell at me! Seriously, he yelled, told me that it wasnt even worth it and threw the paperwork on the floor. I could not believe that. I have never been so disrespected as a customer in my life. Please do not take your car here. Do not waist your time at Maaco. You deserve to be treated better!

The absolute best service in town! The quality of the workmanship was perfect. They were fast, fair, and efficient! I have had 3 cars painted and repaired here. All of them look perfect. Jason was who took care of me and they great. They repainted my 2011 Tacoma and were very patient with me picking out the color red I wanted (took me about 2 days with multiple phones calls to Jason). He didnt try to haggle any money out of me and my truck looks brand new. I got a scratch the first day after being repainted and Jason buffed it out himself for free. I originally got quoted for 6500 from a different place for my paint job and Maaco did it for 1500. Great place and great staff.

I had a great experience at Maaco. I towed my car in, and had them give me a quote. The quote was to high, but since I had it towed there they allowed me to leave my car there until I had enough to fix it (couldnt go with insurance ). After about a year and a few months I was ready to get the car fixed. They told me they had to give me another quote. The second quote was actually cheaper than the first quote, so I jumped on it. They fixed my car in less than no time, and made sure it was back on the road. Definitely going back, and recommending.

In addition to having collision repair work performed on the rear of my car, I had my quarter panel worked on to smooth out several dings and deformations. My car looked mint when I got it back - the rear of my car and quarter panel looked good as new, and with an excellent paint job. Several friends commented on how good my car looked. Very happy with this place!

I almost went with Gerber instead because of their lower quote for my rear bumper damage.After speaking with Maaco, I opted to use their store card for the repair which is a 0% down, 6-month 0% APR card through Synchrony Bank.My only regret is that I wasnt given a physical card or much information regarding actually using it. Ill be calling them to follow up and Im sure theyll provide me with everything I need.The damage, btw - like nothing ever happened.

I have been here twice for work on my 07 Nissan, and I still get compliments on how great the paint looks. Maaco worked on my passenger side front door after it was in an accident, and the work was done quickly and when I picked it up initially looked good. Upon further inspection, however, the gaps in the door are larger than on the other side and the door sounds loose opening and shutting it, and driving around There is a rattle now. I was expecting better work from a national brand like Maaco

My vehicle is a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, with Maroon paint. It had some oxidized spots on the roof and the spoiler, other than that the exterior was in very good condition. Jason and Jeff were very helpful on the phone which was why I choose to use the Maaco off of Main St. In person I spoke with Jason and I was very impressed with his customer service, which made me confident to leave my vehicle. After a few days I had a full paint job, base coat and performance clear coat, back to the original color. Jason informed me that Randal was my painter, he did an amazing job. I honestly didnt know what to expect with this big chain company but the staff running this Maaco are clearly centered around working with the customer and paying close attention to detail. Jason or Jeff will definitely steer you in the right direction.

Jason Wilks was my service advisor. Work was impeccable, and he fixed other things (scrapes, missing paint) that wasnt part of the quote. My car looks new again! Done on time. I went here 5 years ago and service was equally excellent.

I needed a front bumper repair the securely re-attached the fog light and the paint looks great, i left my car Thursday at 11 and by 10 the next day they were done with the repairs.

Based on the experience we had (our car had to be returned 4 times before it was finally finished) these reviews simply can not be true ~ the owner & staff must be posting some of them because this place does absolutely terrible work.

The customer service was great but repair was terrible I had a new front bumper put on and the paint is already chipping after 3 months and the body lines don’t match up at all and the fog light bezels were broken and and one fog light came out and the paint on the bumper was cracked from where they tried to force something on and there was a good scratch/dent where it looks like they hit something and would not admit it
