GT Motors have performed several services for me and my family over the past decade or so. From touching up an older Lexus to major collision damage to a new Mercedes Benz. The results are perfect. The work is impeccable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else (even if it meant a slight delay during the pandemic). My cars have always been completed in a very timely manner and staff is super friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

Robert denied service on my vehicle since it was self-paid and wasted a ton of my time in lieu of other active insurance claims he was working. Told me my vehicle frame was bent and just told me to drive it until it dies. He put me into an unsafe position by forcing me to drive my vehicle after bringing it to GT Motors for repair. Find another body shop where your money spends the same and they care about your safety.

Fixed my vehicle after a small fender bender, excellent bodywork, good color match, no overspray, friendly and helpful staff - thats how it should be done! Highly recommend!

Lots of Bs here - Bob is the Best in the Business - but certainly and A for service. Have had a couple of issues and my truck has come back looking as good as the day I bought it. Looks like a fine establishment. They actually refused work on my vehicle, needing some minor patch work, not even new parts. They probably do great work.. My rating is solely on this experience, I probably would give them another shot in the future if needed.

GT Motorcars is a great business. I brought in my Mercedes for some exterior modifications in the morning and they had it done by noon. My car looked great, however my pickiness got to me and I wanted to see if they could realign a small piece on the bumper to make it more flush. I gave Bob a call and he said bring it in whenever is convenient and we will gladly do that for you. The lady at the front desk is also very kind. Great shop with great staff. Will definitely be coming back for any vehicle needs.

Someone accidentally backed into my drivers side door a little while ago and it was my first time ever being in an accident. I took it to several places and not only were GT Motors the cheapest, they were also super friendly and honest with me even though it was my first time! Ive previously had some pretty rude experience with car places, so it was really refreshing to be treated as a valued customer instead of a young teenage girl who wouldnt know anything. The cost was the same as the estimate (no sneaky fees or anything) and they set my appointment immediately after payment. They also stayed in communication with me and took the amount of time they said they would when they booked the appointment, which was actually pretty fast (3 days) considering that they put a new door on it and washed my car for me. Definitely will go back to them for anything I may need in the future!

I would actually put a 4, but at the stake of lowering their average Ill give a 5. My truck got sideswiped and the guys insurance told me to get a quote here and if I wanted also do the repairs here also. I thought that would be the easiest option, and I think it was. I told them that I was going to choose them on a Monday and they said it would take 3-4 days for the replacement parts to come in and they would call me to let me know when they came in. This was my only hang up with them. I waited till Friday and gave them a call. They said they were waiting on one part, but it should be in on Monday. Monday came and went without a call. So again I waited till Friday and called them. They said that the part arrived but it was already damaged so they had to send for another new one and that it should arrive next Monday and we could go ahead and schedule for the repairs. My only complaint would be that they didnt call me to notify me of the damaged part causing a delay. Other than that they treated me quite superb. After I dropped my truck off I got a rental from enterprise that picked up and dropped off there at GT. They said the repairs would hopefully be done Friday, so Friday afternoon I stopped by to see how close they were. I was told that they may finish it today, but still had quite a bit to do. But none the less I got a call at 4:45 telling me my truck was done, and that they would wait for me (they close at 5). After I got to enterprise and then taken to GT the owner was there to give me my keys at around 5:20. Now Im not trying to bad mouth mechanics or anything, but given that they still had some work to do on it at about 2:30 on a Friday afternoon Im very impressed at that respect they had to finish the job. And to stay later on said Friday to get me my truck shows the integrity Mr. Sturm possess. Plus they washed my truck for me, which it needed badly. And the repairs looked great too, no mismatched paint.

I took my truck to GT Motorcars for some minor repair, as recommended by a friend. I am very particular about my vehicles and I strive to never have any body or paint work done because in the past experiences it never looks the same, the paint texture is different, orange peel doesnt match, along with some other factors I care greatly about. My truck has a 3-Stage Tri-Coat paint job which is not like your typical base/clear which means it is very hard to match and get to look factory. You have to have a painter that is truly skilled at this level of paint work. Robert Sturm the owner gave me an estimate and explained their process, he also agreed to paint as small of an area as possible to fix the damaged area appropriately without re-spraying the entire panel. I had the work done and the shop had a very good turn around time. In the end Rob ended up charging me less than he estimated because he said it took him less time than he estimated which I found extremely honest on his part. Most shops would just charge you what they estimated even if it didnt take as long. The work his shop did was nothing short of amazing. The body work and paint was flawless and the shop took extra care to protect my interior from damage or dirt while in the shop. I would highly recommend this shop and will go back for anything paint related.

My Audi and Volkswagen have both had body work done by GT and it is always first rate work at a reasonable price. Priced a paint/dent repair at M**co that was 20% more and I would be suspect of the result. Would never go anywhere else in Gainesville.

My business with GT Cars can be summarized in two words: BIG MISTAKE.When I was in an accident with my Mini Cooper I actively chose to take it to GT Cars as they claim to be experts on European cars, instead of the body shop the insurance company recommended. The accident happened in the end of February. The car was finally cleared by GT in the end of JULY, -6 months later! This is not due to very complicated damage or the insurance company, but due to GT Cars1) incompetence to identify all damage cause in the collision,2) charging for damage found by the insurance inspector without actually repairing it, which lead to multiple re-visits,3) lack of communication in that they a) ordered parts but didn’t bother to let me know when they had arrived, I had to call and ask about it after a couple of weeks, b) didn’t complete the work on time any of the 5-6 times I had to visit their shop to get the car fixed.Also, a couple of times when I picked the car up at the shop it was very dusty inside and had marks and minor scratches on top of the roof where someone apparently put some kind of tools.In short: I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.

Take the advice of J. Perry...the work was not up to their standards, he promised to repair it!! ...Their work is shoddy at best, and ultimately you will be unhappy with their work. Maybe after the 3rd time taking it back youll give up and how happy will you be then? I know its hard to find a good, reputable shop, so for your sake STAY AWAY!!! The beauty of todays society is you can be warned by reviews before you get stuck with a ridiculous bill for careless, substandard work. Maybe for small stuff theyre OK, but for anything serious I would not wish my dissatisfaction on another person. The lady at the front desk is very pleasant though, so at least youll be kindly greeted every time you drop your car off for the same problem that could have been fixed properly the first time if quality was their focus, but it isnt. Who knows maybe youll be lucky like the other people with more positive reviews or MAYBE youll be part of the minority that gets ripped off and stuck with someone elses mistake. Russian roulette never was my game though. Fair warning!

GT Moror Cars took care of my after it was hit in a parking lot. Instead of putting on aftermarket parts they sourced orginal oem parts and expertly matched the body lines and spacing. You could not even tell that it was in an accident after they fixed it! I highly recommend them.
