Best buy is always a great place for me. This branch is not different. Even if you cant buy anything, it is still a great joy to hangout there. You will be able to know about the latest gadgets related to all sorts of comfort use. The attendees here are extremely helpful and friendly. I like the samsung section the most.
Had a great experience buying appliances and a new TV at Best Buy in Gainesville yesterday! Elliott and the assistant store manager Joe Nero were great to work with. If you want someone great to work with and knowledgeable about the product and not just an order taker then look up Elliott and Joe! Even when the TV I wanted was out of stock they found a way to make it work and for a great price! I will definitely do business with them again and recommend them to anyone. Employees easily get pushed over by strangers over the past few graphics card releases for 30 series. There have been a limited amount which you wait in line for overnight. Each of these mornings they accept a crumpled list of names to be called in order for the line from a random light brown dude in a wife beater with a retired cop SUV. This is instead of the physical line formed of humans patiently waiting. He was first in line so he had time to persuade them to do such. Guy is probably making a killing through all of the opportunity that provides and they didnt seem to care about the people waiting even as they loudly all told them its wrong.

Love my new washer machine!! It fits our huge fluffy king comforters!!! First brand new washer Ive had in my life. Ive always bought used. I feel so fancy. Ordered online during Corona and had THE BEST phone customer service in my life for any company!!! Great job best buy. Curbside pickup is a joke. I ended up having to go inside the store and pickup my item after waiting over 30 minutes for a store employee to bring my item out.Im a frequent shopper at this particular location and Im usually pleased with my experience. Today however, Im very disappointed in BestBuy and the system they have in place for Curbside pickup.
Failed to deliver had to pick up dishwasher my self people were camped outside but my dishwasher is cool
As we were checking out to buy a MacBook Pro, an employee who’s name starts with a Y who has curly hair came up and was rude and disrespectful the entire time. If it wasn’t for my friend NEEDING the laptop, we would have went to somewhere else. She then proceeded to argue that they did not price match from their own website. The manager came over and said she was in the wrong but she continued to give attitude for no reason. Again we are very disappointed in the service here, when we were nothing but respectful and gave no problems or issues.
Jake Proctor who was working in the computer section is an awful person. I asked for help and they kept trying to make me feel stupid. They consistently used a condescending tone and obviously have very poor social skills. Needles to say, I left without purchasing anything and will never be returning.
How does it help when most of the restock of ps5/GPU goes to the scalpers anyways? The friendly but nerdy staff are not able to hold line cutters SOB in their place so police presence is needed. And pretty much, you need to wait overnight to get in line for the GPU/console restock, and good luck trying this alone because, hekk yea, some shady people out there in the line. Am I saying all this is Best Buys fault? No I am not. But its still frustrating when you waited for hours just to be told that the console/GPU you want is now OOS. Might as well just do this restock online since the outcome is the same.
Had an amazing experience at this Best Buy because of Kervine. She helped me with setting up my new phone and a few other purchases for my small business. She was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Totally recommend her, Thank you!!!!
Store is pretty empty, and prices just aren’t competitive anymore. Want your car stereo installed? Don’t come here! Their ONE installer is NEVER around. It takes about 20-minutes for someone to even pick up the phone. After you get someone to do that, they will tell you their ONE installer is on vacation for 2-weeks, but then also is “booked out” another 2-3 weeks after that. Also, their costs are ridiculous. Double-Din install is a hundred bucks. Pair of speakers? Extra $65, making all 4 a total of $130. Amp and sub? Another $140. Plus another $120 in wiring. Quoted time to install. 2.5-hours, for $500 bucks. YIKES.
So far not a good experience with Best Buy.Called number on website corporate answers.Go through all the prompts got disconnected.Tried again sat on hold for 8 minutes a very rude girl picks up.Needed geek squad.She asked problem with my laptop I told her then she starts berating me for not having their anti virus device.I will continue after my appointment tomorrow.Wish me luck.

I dealt with this Best Buy when having to replace to an entire homes worth of appliances. Kitchen + Laundry. That is a tall order and given the global manufacturing/shipping delays of today having stock is difficult.In short, they nailed it. Yes, I took my time, shopped open box and waited for sales but I was able to outfit the entire house in about 11 weeks. When I ran into a major issue, excellent condition open box high end refrigerator that didn’t get cool upon arrival, they not only replaced my open box with a new one, they offered me complimentary pick up of the old model and delivery/install of the new bc I had to lengthy back order. This was huge for me bc I don’t own a truck, I’ve been reliant on rentals and friends. A refrigerator is probably but the worst appliance to have to go without but BB did everything they could to help me out.I wish I remembered their names (I’m bad with names) but the service from the CS associate and manager who handled my exchange and the delivery team who managed the new installation were as good as it gets. Professional and personable. They’ve earned my business for as long as I’m here.

I was very impressed with the customer service from Joe and Nina on June 28,2021 in the TV department. I had lots of questions and spent a lot of time choosing a TV. They were patient, helpful, personable, and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. They also had a few other people in the same department that assisted some as well (sorry guys, I didn’t get your name) that were great. Well done, Best Buy….you have a great team of people. I ended up buying a 65” LG GX OLED TV that is being delivered and installed tomorrow. Thanks!
I normally do not have any issues with this best buy, I went in to buy an iPad case that showed online as in stock in the store but was apparently out of stock, which actually was no big deal because they told me exactly when it would be in stock. Very helpful staff.
Staff trained well to upsell. The computer section seems intentionally disorganized and designed for maximum confusion. More options on Bestbuy.com than in store. Literally used the demo models in store to shop for a computer online. Lol.
Would love to tell you this if I could contact a person. NONE of the options on your phone work they all hang up on you. Your email link does not work. Basically NO SUPPORT other than corporate. Nice when some things are store dependent. Hope you are better in person but not helpful when trying to do stuff for a student in the area from out of state.
Cracked computer screen and they’ve had it since May 27 and it’s June 18th. I’ve called several times and they just keep saying they see the work order is submit but no detail as to what step in the repair process they are at. I’m a college student so I haven’t been able to work from home since my computer has been gone for almost a month now.Called again today and no updates.
Geek squad was nice and friendly. Store in general is kept clean and organized. It is the only Best Buy in Gainesville so I would expect customer service experience to be a bit more up to part. Once I was done with Geek Squad I walked around the store. Made eye contact with about 3 employees in hope of them asking if I needed help with anything but they didn’t. Honestly they looked like they didn’t want to be bothered at all. I eventually on my own found what I was looking for. Possibly would’ve found the item quicker if someone would’ve just offered help. But besides that everything was okay.
The woman working customer service with the extremely long nails was rude. The customers she handled before me were talking about how mean she was and then when I approached the counter she didn’t greet me and the interaction was disgusting the entire time. My Apple Pay didn’t work and since they were about to close I wanted to run to my car to grab some money. She yelled at me to come back to the counter saying she was going to just give me a refund and got upset after I stated I needed the cord not my money back. When I returned with the money she REFUSED to ring me up and had another associate do it. I have never had service that bad and I have been a long-standing customer.

I had the weirdest exchange here. I bought a blu ray movie and chose curb side pickup. When I got to the store I checked into the app like youre supposed to do and waited. There were 4 other cars in the curbside parking spaces waiting as well. After 20 minutes no Best Buy employee had brought a single item to any of the waiting customers. I went inside to the pickup desk and asked why they werent bringing out the pickup items to which the young man said I dont know. I said there were quite a few customers waiting for there items and they should fulfill their curbside pickup orders and the only thing the guys ever said to me was I dont know. I asked 3-4 more questions about why they werent doing curbside pickup and after only being told I dont know I left. I cant tell if the clerk was mocking me, trying to get fired, or just really bad at his job but there was definitely a problem there. I just moved here to Gainesville and this was my first experiance with this Best Buy so Ill give it another opportunity before I write it off but this was not a good first impression.
Couldn’t give zero stars or I would.To make a very long, sad story short:I need a back up camera for 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU.Chance Navarre pulled up my vehicle in computer and sold me a bracket and camera compatible with my Jeep and factory touchscreen audio receiver and scheduled installationAfter waiting six weeks I drive to the store for install appointment. Installation Tech informs me that the camera will not work with my audio.Spoke with another manager. He didn’t try to confirm compatibility but did refund my money. Referred me to Geek Squad for a refund on installation.Bottom line - two trips to Best Buy and waiting six months, now right back where I started.Avoid this place like the Wuhan flu!
I was going to buy two products which should have equaled $225 it rang up as $375. The items were Miss marked on the counter. They were not interested in doing anything about that. So I did not buy the items and I walked out of the store. I will buy the items someplace else. Best buy sucks

Always having a great experience at this Best Buy in Gainesville. The staff is super helpful, answered all my questions, and helps me find the right products for me. Curbside pickup has always been quick. There are often good deals to find, if not they have price matched my products. Totally recommend this Best Buy!
For the employees i came in contact with were very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. Some items I ordered online were not what was advertised. But all in all ill go back.

DO NOT CALL STORE. JUST GO TO THE LOCATION.THEY WILL NOT ANSWER. EVER.This location needs to fix its phone service, or Best Buy in general.Best Buy will not answer their phones at this location. When asking for a manager, the robot answering service disconnects your call. You will be forced to go into the store, even if a simple question needs to be answered. Do not even try to attempt to reach anyone through any prompt. You will be left on hold. I played a game while I was on hold and it kicked me off after two hours of on hold. UNACCEPTABLE.
Its been more than a week since this has happened, and i have some sort of mild PTSD from the encounter.The geek squad tech randi (Im sure a fake name) started screaming at me belligerently because I informed her I had previously discussed a straight forward screen replacement with another tech that worked there.She gaslight me, told me no one that had that description there, and stormed off in the back.An even tempered black gentlemen then came out and told me the previous person did in fact work there, but no one offered to fix my computer.Im not sure if it was some kind of roid rage or untreated autism but it was literally the worst customer service experience i have ever had in my life and I will never go to best buy again.

I came here to get an unlocked phone to use with my AT&T account, unfortunately they cannot activate unlocked phones for AT&T so the phone was significantly more expensive than expected. Despite that, the staff was able to give me a discount on the phone to make up for it. Tyler was very knowledgeable about the situation and explained it clearly, its a shame that AT&T is so restrictive on it.
I cant believe Amazon did not put them out of business. Yet.

The staff was very attentive... I think ten people asked me if I needed help...ten different people..thats not counting the repeats. But cant really complain because someone might actually need help....I was just wandering around while my husband the tech expert shopped.

Whats nice about it is that they generally have what Im looking for and I almost always have an idea of what I want. However, there have been instances where I needed help and not only was it difficult to find an associate to help but its rare to find one that wants to help me with my issue.
The main problem Ive always had with Best Buy is usually finding someone who can help me find what I need. You go there, you spend 30+ minutes looking/waiting for someone who works there to be available then you have to spend another 30+ minutes picking out the product you need based on the stock they have. Online chat support through the app and curbside pickup have solved these problems as well as the line waiting for checkout. 5/5

Well, My visit there is always good but, it was Black Friday and I had to stand in line in the torching sun for my order. It went fairly well. Everyone was pleasant and patient that I dealt with. Still deserve 5 stars .

Customer service is excellent. Kevrine at the phone counter was very helpful and efficient. Found phones for both me and my wife, and didnt hassle us for extra add-ons. Answered all our questions and left as happy customers. A few $K less but hey, were professionals, we need the upgrade😏4 stars since theres a strange humming from the fans above the checkout line...might need to get that looked at.
Just want to say how nice it was to have such great customer service from the group of Best Buy employees working in the cell phone section. After running into problems with my new phone, Verizon customer service told me that they couldn’t do anything to resolve the issue, but the Best Buy cell phone team came in and saved the day! Thank you so much Kervine for working late just so you could help resolve the problem with my phone! Kervine literally did everything she could possibly do to get my phone fixed and the manager Joe Nero was also a huge help with getting the problem resolved after Verizon customer support was unable to help me. Thanks to you guys, my new phone is working great and I no longer have to deal with the “random screenshots” that were a non-stop problem with my other phone!So for anyone that’s in the market for a new phone, I highly recommend buying it from Best Buy because if you have any problems with it at all, their team will actually take the time to resolve the issue and make things right! This Best Buy had someone greeting you at the front door to make sure everyone was wearing a mask. They were practicing appropriate social distance saying throughout the store and everything was running smooth and efficiently. I had to take off a star because they only had Cat 6 cable. The modern world has already gotten to Cat 8.

No brainer.AND Best buy sent me a thank you with a link if I needed ANY HELP getting started. Returns extended through the holidays. You dont get that from the big A.

Love the curbside pick up. Very easy to find and utilize. Staff brought out purchase very quickly and securely (I had to verify a code to receive it.) I also appreciate their return policy and price matching.

I went to buy a computer and only 1 person was working that whole section and I stood around waiting for someone to help me for about 20 min. I shop here because they have the things I need but they need to work on customer service and have more people working, ectectronics is the one thing during covid that people are buying so atleast have the people there to help us.

I was hoping the Geek Squad would be able to resolve my business computer issues. I didnt have an appointment and live almost an hour away. I was greeted at the door and was guided where to go with the respectful explanation that there may be a long wait since I had not made an appointment. So, I was prepared to be there all day. After about 30 minutes the GS was able to work me in and quickly resolve my computer issues. This store has been my go to store for any tech for 10 years. I have always received great customer service and helpful, knowledgeable answers to any questions or concerns. Thanks Gainesville Best Buy Team!

Went in knowing what we wanted. Found Steve with Magnolia to answer a few questions of which he did and pointed us to what we were thinking. In less than 15 minutes we walked out with our new OLED tv. Cant beat that!

To anyone purchasing an Insignia TV on sale BEWARE! Thankfully we purchased Geek Squad protection plans. Sunday I threw away 7 remotes. To-date we have gone through numerous remotes for our two TVs, both under 48”. There are no external controls, and although the picture is great and the overall TV performance is great, Geek Squad in-home protection NO LONGER provides free remotes; although my protection plan doesn’t expire until next year, the last time I called for replacements I was told there was a $14 charge for one of the two Insignia remotes!
We were helped by Dakota of the qeek squad. He resolved our questions, even wrote everything down for us!

Friendly service, great prices! The only detriment was that I ordered my TVs to be wall mounted on the app, when the guy showed up two and a half weeks later he asked me if I had a wall mount! When I call a plumber he doesnt show up and asked me if I have a lug nut for goodness sakes! I had to go down to the Best Buy in Gainesville Florida, which I was hoping to avoid in the first place by ordering on the app, and purchase two separate wall mounts for the two separate TVs. Absolutely ridiculous, if the installation does not include everything that is needed for the installation they should say so!!
Great store. Rob the Samsung guy is absolutely one of the most amazing human beings Ive ever met. I wouldnt recommend any other Best Buy or any other person to talk to. Overall the stores clean, the people are friendly and this is definitely the greatest Best Buy Ive ever been to.
If geeks would listen to the customer some time..it might be more helpful! Also, asking someone if they need help out with that $300.00 gaming monitor..would have been nice.
I once had a data backup done here that was done to a DVD. That was a mistake, if you do a data backup, make sure you do it to an external hard drive.note: I got an external floppy drive in the mail and thought it was an external hard drive by coincidence.
Best buy is always fun to look around just wish they had more pc gaming stuff.

Drove 45 minutes to buy a printer and a tablet. I was not allowed to enter without a mask. I dont ware masks. Theyre not good for people to ware, especially with my life long repertory issues. I made my purchases online from another seller. Maybe you Best Buy should let people decide for themselves their level of COVID concern. My purchases cost $455.00, which I spent somewhere else, after waisting time and gas.
Usually can find whatever electronics you need and they price match.

The manager of geek squad went out of his way to locate the new sn850 ssd for me! Very impressed. Other associates(inventory associates)just didnt bother to look in back when showed it was in stock. Spencer was great helping my buddy out with computer build too.

This Best Buy was really quite busy, but they were able to quickly exchange my dead modem for a new one using my geek squad four year protection.
Place is well stocked and staff friendly. It did take a while to get some help but overall a good visit.
