Had a wonderful experience perusing and picking up needed things. Great place to browse... the plants in the Garden Center were breathtaking!!!

Very clean store and the shelves are always full of stock . Excellent and helpful staff especially Mrs. Debbie from appliances. Will be shopping here for all my hardware needs. Lowes sucks compared to these guys. Ive truly been converted..... and they gave me a credit card too!! Lowes never gave me anything, even when I worked for them!!

Iam amazed at the level of service in this establishment. Spent about an hour and a half in this store shopping for insulation, lumber, cabinets and lighting.. never once was spoke to or even acknowledged by an employee.. Every isle I went down I was constantly being pushed into a direction I didnt want to go in by rude stockers and they never waited for me to get done looking at what I was looking at. All I ever got was EXCUSE ME! The only pleasant person who worked here was the outside cashier who worked in the garden department. She was sweet and considerate. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN HOME DEPOT, I WILL TAKE IT TO ACE HARDWARE

Love this place! Just got a great deal on a battery powered Ryobi chainsaw.

My experience from entry to departure was good. The store was clean. The items were easily found. Assistance was good. The attendant was knowledgeable about the products. I will visit the store again.

They have a really good selection of succulents, compared to some of the other big box stores in the area. They actually take care of their plants at the home depot. Plus the customer service in the garden center is awesome!

Awesome customer service and will price match Lowes and they give vets way better respect than Lowes.Fell in love with the people in the first five minutes I was there.They may not always have the materials you need when you need them, but they where worth the weight.

Paint person was very helpful. Newberry Road store told me they had x2 gallons of black paint. Got there, no paint. Employee suggested she could mix the exact same paint. I asked couldnt the other store have done the same, yes. Its the person behind the counter and of course the experience. I drove 20 minutes and could have had the same product, not the same experience. Love the customer service I received. Kudos to her

Just yesterday Home Depot loaded lumber for a starecase in a rental truck that I rented at this location. Everything felt in the middle of the road. I was so scare, Im a open heart surgery patient. When I went back there was no companion. Becareful when they load stuff in your truck or a rental truck.

I had an extremely pleasant experience with Ms. Johns, the Operations Manager and her staff at our neighborhood Home Depot today. They went all out to help me resolve an issue with an older purchase and I couldnt be happier. Im very grateful and appreciative of their help.

Employee of ours purchased a air compressor with “2 yr REPLACEMENT Plan, We’ll sure enough, compressor locked up, burnt up and quit after 18 months. We’ll after talking to store, pack a lunch and get ready for total runaround. Hours on phone and now the manufacture is sending replacement PARTS for DIY.Not happy. Unit down now for a week and who knows when parts will arrive. So, don’t be fooled by HD on their REPLACEMENT plans.

Looked up online to find Ala Cty Yellow bags for overflow trash. I called WCA and they said Home Depot, Lowes and Publix carried them. However, once I got here, I couldnt find the bags. So I went to customer service, the gentleman said; I dont know who said we carry them because we dont. So I called WCA again in front of him and once again, WCA looked online and said that they show that they carry them for Alachua County. I was then told that they would be in lawn and garden...not there. I was told they were on aisle 45...not there either.I wasted 45min. in this store, and for what?FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.I ended up going to Publix off 13th STR and when I asked Customer Service about the bags...the young man behind the counter walked me right to them.

Still a good place to get Ryobi tools and accessories.

Just an overall great experience! Found what I needed for renovating my home and got great customer service. Yolanda, my cashier for 2 purchases (because I forgot my 2x4s) was such a lovely positive person.

Ordered something online and had the fastest and easiest pick up ever! 1 hour after placing the order I received a text it was ready to go. I appreciate being able to get what I need, in and out fast.

I had two terrific experiences this week concerning an employee in the lighting department named Brian.The first day I was looking for an outdoor motion sensor light. He was very helpful picking one out but as I was walking to the checkout I saw him quickly approaching with another box. It was less expensive but best for my needs! Found what I needed and salesperson was pleasant

Was in and out in less than 10mins. Unfortunately went to Lowes first. Took 15 mins just to get a representative to answer paging. Then had to show the ad using their app to the sales clerk. The final straw was going through self checkout only to find that the barcode wouldnt scan. The sales assoc came over too assist and she couldnt make it work. We had to resort to using the item number from the app, which refused to work if the extra warranty wasnt purchased. So I left.Went to Home Depot, found what I wanted, paid more, but was in and out in under 10 mins, with so much friendlier knowledgeable employees.

Absolutely no enforcement of Alachua County & Gainesville mask mandate, nor the stores own mask policy (private industry can set their own rules, right folks from a liberty perspective.)Online checkout sometimes wont work with any payment method, forcing a trip to, and inside, the store. Stock often doesnt match what their app says, in either quantity or location.

I received information about an outdoor surveillance camera with my statement. I looked on line and saw all the local stores showed them in stock, this store with 10. So I drive the 30 minutes to the store being high risk during this pandemic. I located a an empty spot for them. I was sent to a locked cabinet at the front of the store. An employee opened it and said they didn’t have any. I informed her that on line showed 10 in stock. She asked if he I called the store to confirm that before coming in, even though she was showing 11 in stock. She then told me if they were not put out yet, they would be put after inventory. She called a manager who looked in the same places on the floor but also gave up. The Customer Service employee tried by calling the other Gainesville store which also could not find them. I left and called Lake City and had excellent customer service and they found them. This was 3.5 hour ordeal.

I normally just find the stuff I need myself, which usually takes longer so I decided to ask for help, boy was that a big mistake!!! They guy who helped me made it take twice as long as normal and then I get home to find out he gave me the wrong size!!!! Now I have to drive 45 minutes one way just to go exchange it and its time I dont have!!!! Smh..

I was looking for some outdoor seating for Fathers day brunch, I didnt capture his name but the associate went and got us a separate cart because we had too much stuff and help me load it up. I liked that the store had everything in stock instead of having to order it and get it delivered. It was incredibly nice.

Bought our Christmas tree & some outside holiday lights. Sales personnel were all very nice. Great experience.

I must give a shout out to Tracee for his excellent assistance when we bought our cub cadet lawn mower today. He made sure we had it loaded up safely and he also directed us to other items on our list with knowledgeable enthusiasm. He actually took our call in the morning and made sure to be available when we arrived so our purchase would be as smooth as possible. We will come back to this home depot again for sure.

So close when I need to run in and grab something for the house and the best part is I can bring my dog

Prices were not as good as lowes in my hunt for a new washer and dryer plus they dont offer a veterans discount that you can get at lowes.

I was shopping the garden center and made my selection. When I got to the register there was an off the clock associate chatting with the cashier. I admit I got less than 6foot to them and got mean looks. I set my items down. They were heavy and got a cart. Was standing behind the cart and the off duty associate was not there ..she then came up with money to pay and rudely told me to back up 6 foot even tho I was a cart distance from her and she had moved in front of me. Not acceptable behavior even if you are off duty. I work retail myself.I did make a return before this which went very smoothly but still considering not shopping here again.

I buy a LOT of stuff at home depot. I enjoy coming to this one in particular because everyone is always nice and helpful. Their ship-to-store service is fantastic and someone is always willing to help load my car. Cant say enough about how much I enjoy coming here.

Would have gotten a 5 star, but at the pro desk. A pro worker known as Sam, didnt want to help me get prices I ask to be printed out. So I wouldnt have to run around the store. Sam told me that they dont have prices and they dont do what I asked. I told her this is a first. All I got was a blank stare. So I walked off. Alli at the pro desk was wonderful and professional. Need more people like Alli at the pro desk. Ur loaders need to be more helpful. Dont walk off after loading my post . When I say, I still have 7 concrete bags to load. Just left me and my wife. So I load them and forget 1 bag. My neck was hurting from loading them and thought I had them all. Now I have to go back. Hopefully I want have a problem.
