I never had an issue with farmers furniture, until now. I got a dresser delivered to my place, two drawers came broken. I’ve been calling for 2 weeks now and I keep on getting told that the person I need to speak to isn’t there and to call back the next day. Plus, when I did speak to someone they would tell me that they’re sorry and they will send someone out to look at it, and they will give me a call on when they can come by. Well, days go by and I never received a call. This is sad and pathetic. I’m paying for something that came broken. I’m tired of calling. I’m tired of complaining about my broken dresser when no one is willing to help me. This is bad customer service.
This store clearly lacks proper management. Ive been a customer here for a year now. My furniture payment gets taken directly from my account and is on time every time. Unfortunately my furniture was delivered damage. Today one year later it is getting repaired. I did have to go to the store where they delivered the big box to my car. This gentleman was very friendly and seemed to be very busy. But still polite and not rude. The manager of the store Roger laughed and smiled off the fact that I had to call over 6 times to get anyone to even come out and look at it. The best thing the GM of this company could do for the productivity of this store is to replace this guy. Unfortunately horrible customer service from store manager.
Somewhere in between good service and hard of hearing with some of the staff, quick to receive payment, very slow to fix a problem, God forbid you get a sales person who cant follow directions. Other than that the staff is friendly so youll feel welcomed everytime you enter. They always have a nice selection of furniture.
We bought our furniture and it was delivered exactly one week later. It is beautiful, well made, and arrived in perfect condition. Doug and Ken delivered our order and they were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this location to any of my friends and family.

Scammers! Read your paper work and check your prices. These folks are scam artist and deserves zero stars. First off they need a better “ manager” because Thomas is rude and disrespectful and needs to be in another type of job industry. These crooks tacked on so many charges, like life insurance, things I was unaware of and they did not ask me about. An additional $395. All I wanted was a sofa and table. This place is bogus and full of scams. The sales clerk tried to charge me 749 for something that was priced 699, I guess that’s how they “come up”. I canceled my whole order.
I bought couchs for 3000 dollars. Paid off within a month. The day they delivered they were broken. Been trying to get a hold of them they say they have a different company to do repairs. And they only call once to get a hold of you for repairs. I put in like 4 different request still nothing. Been trying to get them fixed for 3-4 months now. Still nothing. Ive been put on hold for 30 minutes waiting for them to answer and all they say is oh the person you need talk to isnt here. I will never go through them for another furniture purchase ever.

Purchased sofa and recliner on 12/22/19. Floor recliner was ripped and sofa different color so they ordered replacements. Sales lady said would receive in 2 weeks. So almost 6 weeks and numerous phone calls that were not returned later....no sofa but chair was there. They still have no idea when sofa will arrive. I picked up recliner today (in box. Didnt remove since I hauled in back of pickup). When I opened box-wrong recliner, wrong color. Called store. They said they will have manager call me. Im not holding my breath! I will update when I can get a response.Its now February 25. Called store yesterday; told me they have our correct recliner there but still have not received our sofa. Said it might be there Friday (last shipment of Feburary).Update: finally gave us our money back first of March, still had no idea where sofa was. Manager wasnt available so finance lady filled out papers for us to sign. Told us they would come pick up the recliner that I picked up that was wrong one within a week. Didnt call or show up so since we had no room for it we gave it away first of April. So now on April 20, they call and ask to pick up chair????????? Said they will pursue cost of chair since we didnt bring it back%@#^&!Told them go for it and hung up.
The worst place ever I was just about to finish my payments and they try to charge me more money and with the excuse that I didn’t make a paymet and when asked to many questions to the lady in the custumer service department she just said I done with you turn around and walk away never buy in this place we have more places is gainesville in wich they appreciate like the customer that u are!!!!
I would rate this place a zero, I see why they have so many negitive reviews. Even when you make all your payments on time they still call you and harass you with the phone calls. There is a law against harassing phone calls and they can be taken to court for this. They are rude and unprofessional. I dont know where most of them got their degree from but they clearly cant read. If you make your payments on time they still say that the system shows youre late,even when by law you know you keeping up with your payments. Corporate must not be aware of these things,or maybe someone is pocketing money?I will never rent from this place again they are a bunch of scams especially Liz.,so unprofessional. Make sure you keep your receipts from all your payments,so they cant get over on you.
They charged me two monthly payments even after I had finished paying for everything !! with the excuse that I did not report that the payments have been completed. Worst service.🤮
If you want furniture from here go another store any other store but this one do not go to Gainesville one. The manager there was very rude, disrespectful and has the worst attitude. Does not know how to treat his clients! Terrible service.
Very pleased with our visit. We got some living room furniture, tables, and lamps. Also purchased a Speed Queen washer/dryer set and we absolutely love it! I cannot remember the salesman that helped us, but he was phenomenal. He has long hair... if that helps, but we will defintely be returning for the bedroom suites next! This, by far, has been the best furniture store to buy from. They offer some of the best deals, that Ive seen after a lot of shopping around. Ive been to Farmers before, 8 years ago and was pleased that time as well, which is why I came back and once again, I was so pleased, that I know I will return again.

I am giving a one star because Gail was the only person who was nice and helpful in our experience. We ordered our furniture for our house 4 months in advance. We called the Friday before pickup to make sure everything was good - they said it was ready to pickup. We get there and they had not even ordered our furniture, it was not there to pickup. Then they offered us free deliver/set up for a few days delay. We took the offer, they brought it and dropped it off at our house & did not set it up AND gave us a queen when we ordered a king. They did come back out same day and exchanged it for the correct one and set it up. I would not recommend. I will not be using them in the future.
Staff lies, not professional, products not good...over charge for the quality of their stuff.... knocked over mailbox and tried fixing it by stepping on the ground around the mail box...I will never step a foot back in that store again

The worst place ever to buy furniture, it took six weeks to get it, two bar stools that I’m sure wasn’t new that they claim was, when they finally got there nothing was wrapped they had to leave it outside and it was about to rain, I barely was able to get it in the house before the rain came,I will never buy anything else from here

Terrible customer service! I am writing this review in hopes that Farmers furniture will, by these means, pay attention to my family. My family is leasing a washing machine which has not worked for over two months. They have been calling and speaking with Diane/Diana regarding the situation for almost two months trying to resolve this problem. Weve had two people come look at the washer, which they said would be free before fixing the problem but the first guy charged us. Finally, Luis has been taking some initiative to try and help but keeps telling us that someone has to approve. He said if we didnt receive a response by Monday/Tuesday to give a call, weve been calling ALL week and get told that he is not there. Now today, Thursday, they asked why we hadnt called when he was there yesterday because he not there again today. They need to get their facts together. We are very frustrated and dont understand why we should have pay to wash our clothes at a laundry mat when we are paying for this washing machine that they dont want to change. Please DO NOT COME WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

My Experience with this place is horrible I would rated a -0 if possible . Please I do not recommend you buy here. I thought this places good since they are always having deals and discounts to get your furniture. Honestly it’s not in Order to purchase stuff they check your credit as well they lie to you saying your only going to pay for the amount they give you & don’t tell you about the insurance and extra they add on which your going to end up paying more then they say. When it comes to damage furniture they send you with Diana (really terrible help) she supposedly helps! I can’t get in contact with her because she always busy and never as time to follow up she lies as well and never calls back. She is useless & when need to speak to a manager they always say his not there or to call another time. Which sucks because I’m paying and they can’t help

My review actually is a -10 the staff didnt know what they were doing the furniture I bought was just horrible. The sectional started falling apart within 3 months with no help from the company to fix it. I found out that I had signed on for disability insurance which was not explain to me or talked about whatsoever when I sign the contract for their horrible in-house financing. I use their in-house financing and got behind a couple of payments because of a injury. after many threatening phone calls I found out that I actually had signed off on disability insurance of course it was no longer any good because I was behind on my payment. To top that the finance manager actually hung up on me twice was totally rude and unprofessional please beware of these people the furnitures crummy the staff is horrible and the finance people are just a real royal pain. Not to mention that the insurance was just added on in my payment and it was not discussed with me for a second during the sale of the furniture. They were so happy to get my business but dont get behind a payment with these guys their roof plus go anywhere else.
Me and my fiancé got couches here in April to move into our new place.. Everyone was very nice and professional but two weeks ago out of nowhere the box spring in one of our couches popped in the middle of the night while we were sleep and I couldn’t believe how or why it did that especially in a short amount of time considering we just bought the couches.. so I called customer service to see if we could get another one because of our warranty and she said someone would have to come out and look at the couch to try and fix it and then would be able to tell us if we could get one or not and I knew this couch was not fixable! two weeks go on I keep calling for the manager who is always on break every time I call and I have not heard from anyone and I am very frustrated and disappointed into how they are handling this situation and will not buy again from them!
They are quick to sell you stuff but when you call to make payments they put you on hold for ever or never answer the fone and if you are gonna be one day late past 30 days they say if you don’t make it that day they are sending paper work to court ....... I’ve had four 3,000 dollar accounts with them and after they have treated me this time around I will never make another purchase nor recommend any body to go there other than the fact everything is over priced!

Never bought from these people before, until this past weekend- already regret it. Took a long time to get credit approval, they scheduled delivery for the following Wednesday, so took off work for that day. They call Tuesday and say they can’t do it. Something is wrong with the delivery truck. I say that’s ok, and we reschedule for Friday. Which is today. They said they would deliver between 12 pm and 2 pm. Took off work today too. They don’t show up. Called them and they said that my delivery wasn’t on the schedule. ‘Were not coming today’’but we can tomorrow’ and I was like, “how do I trust that?” Can’t keep taking off work! didn’t even put my delivery on their schedule even after the first cancellation. Wow lol
The worst thing I have ever done was buy a bed from them they were nice at first but rude after you sign the papers if your later on a payment they will call u non stop and text you too Ill never I mean never will do business with them again sorry company to do business with the credit manager will no call people back and the store manager is sorry ahut this store down

Wish I read these reviews before purchasing my table. I have not gotten it yet, but I called the store to ask some questions on measurments of the table. The guy was a moron. Husband going up to the store tomorrow to measure it himself... (additional) the store called me back again wanting a phone # of one of my references, I told them they already had it, girl smarted off to me, and got really nasty again, not sure if it was the same one. Against my better judgement we are keeping the furniture. should really refund it.

Most disrespectful group of people I have ever dealt with! I have bought from them TWICE now and I will never buy from them again and I used to recommend people to them. ABSOLUTELY will never recommend anyone to them again. Horrible customer service. They cuss at you and make you feel its your fault because their CC system is down when you call to make your payment on time. They then say they will charge you a 25.00 late fee because they cant take your payment when you call to pay it ON TIME! ABSURD!

Just called to make my payment as usual and was told by a guy I have never talked to nor seen that it would cost me an xtra 4dollars to pay on phone! I have never been charged 4dollars before and I asked Why? he says the bank charges them to use the machine.. So let me get this straight I just heard you punch in the card in the machine, and that is the same machine I would pay on if I come in? yes he states so does it charge me when I come in, why no he says.... I told him that how can the bank charge him for answering the phone for a payment when its the same machine I use when I come in that does not charge.... NOOO thats a scam and ripoff....
Awful costomer service. They came to my house once banging the door .Because I had missed my last payment. They said they were taking it back. Only 1 payment left and they band that door like if they were looking for some criminal. I eventually payed for it because i had juat recovered from the flue so I could not pay before.
