Teachers this is a great store for posters, classroom sets.. bulletin board ideas,, decoration, Trims, educational games, name plates and more. Overall cheaper than Lakeshore and there are always some items for 20 or 40% off.

I love Mardels, but I prefer the one had here in Denton Texas more. I drove to this location because the Denton store no longer exists. I was very excited about getting in the store to buy some journals. As soon as I walked in, I was looking at other things like keychains. A worker asked me if I needed help I told her No thank you. So I continued to journal section. As Im shopping, I noticed the same worker watching me. Then she asked me a second time, Do you need any help, at the point I felt like leaving the store. But I decided not to. I told, MaamIm fine Thank you and I went to front the checkout. I feel like this employee targeted me, why I dont know? Maybe because Im a black woman but the color of skin shouldnt matter. We are All GODS Children and Deserve to be Treated Equally. I will not be coming back to this location again. I will try again location or make my purchases online.

I love Mardel! Anytime I am feeling low or lost this is where I go! I just walk around and soak in all the things about my Jesus that are there. A wonderful store. I wish we still had one in Plano but they closed that one. Hopefully at some point in the future they will reopen one in Plano.

Love this place! I took the kids to simply get out of the house a little and look for some homeschool items. It was their first time at this store and they enjoyed looking at all the books, art supplies, school supplies and of course toys. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We even found a white board on sale for 29 dollars. Originally 89.

The name can be misleading here.. they have a great collection of learning books for schools in all subjects. A good collection of self learning activity books.The staff is very helpful and will make the right suggestions on books based on your kids level of knowledge and interests

I loved this store, however, I purchased 3 items 2 of which were marked down. I got the discounts on those 2 but the 3rd item was marked 2.99 and I was charged 5.99. I usually watch more closely but missed it. Unfortunately I live too far away to take it back to the store conveniently. Disappounting.

Mardel is always a great store for books and apparel for the Word of God. They have an extensive selection of Bibles and getting someone a Bible with their name engraved on it is perfect for anyone. They associates are very helpful and accommodating. Just found Faith Over Fear masks as well!

Great products, lots of sales and i love that they dont pester you every 5 minutes with may i help you with anything like some stores do.Although its a large store, people can easily find the products they are looking for without assistance. If a case needs to be opened theres always customer service at the front of the store ready to assist.They keep a variety of merchandise from Bibles to School Supplies to Artwork, and Music department where u can listen before u buy. Our family has been going to Mardel since our kids were little and now that they are grown we still go there. It has fond memories...listening to music with the kids, browsing through bibles reading verses, buying their school supplies there.

This place is truly unique in that it has bargain book section with books as low as $1. I was able to purchase 2 books from the $3 section that would have cost me over $40!

Clean and quiet. Many new items to shop for. I found what I was needing.

Bad experience. I went with my daughter and the cashier (young lady) didnt greet or even look at us. She just rang up and gave us receipt. I expect little more courtesy from Christian stores.

This is a nice little Christian Store. They have little trinkets that share the feelings of many people. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside when youre in there. You can find hopeful helpful and happy Little Treasures all over this place. And they also have a very big selection of literature to help as well. I really like their music selection. It covers a wide range of taste. This is a definite stop, if you need help with material for a Sunday school class. It also helps that they have a good selection for many age ranges.

I really enjoyed browsing through everything. The atmosphere is inviting and peaceful. I loved the music in the background and found myself humming along. I had difficulty finding the study books I was looking for and asked a gentleman who worked there for help. He was very kind and cheerful add he helped me find both items. Oh Ill be back!!😊👍

Oh man is this place dangerous for me. I could buy the whole store!! I knew it was a bookstore which is the main reason I went. I want to grow my relationship with the Lord and wanted some kind of workbook or Bible study guide to help me further. However, I was not aware of the fact that they sell all kinds of things at this place. I ended up getting a super nice notebook, 2 shirts-one of which had lyrics from one of my favorite songs Oceans by Hillsong United, and a workbook Boundaries. Theres a wide selection of different books, clothes, journals, random key chains and bracelets, DISHES?! Super impressed with this place and what a great staff they had as well. I will definitely be returning. God Bless Mardels!!

They have a lot of great organizational and educational tools. It is a Christian bookstore so they have a lot of faith based books, music, clothing and other miscellaneous items. Staff is super friendly and helpful. A great place to sit and read books if you like (which I have ton for an hour or two before). I also like that they provide a laminator that you can laminate big items or if you have a lot of items to laminate in general. They also do engravings and serve coffee.

Thank God Almighty for this oasis in the midst of a business and population boom. Mardel is absolutely necessary in this area for so many reasons. If you are truly looking for answers to so many of lifes questions, stop by Mardels and get refreshed. Great value and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I love this bookstore! Lots of kids stuff (toys and books) and cute gift items! Home goods, t-shirts, stationery supplies, books they got it all! Prices are decent too.

Went in to get a Bible for our youngest child & have his name embossed. They were able to do the embossing while we shopped next door. Going to have one happy little boy, thanks.

I shop for books at Mardel very often and always find what I need on the shelf (most of the time) or can order for quick delivery. The people are wonderful and the gentlemen that help me find the books I need are so knowledgeable and helpful.

I went in here to get a box of cards. Politely asked a gentleman if there were more of “x, y, z” cards, and this guy is giving me the up-down like I’m stealing stuff. I worked in asset protection, I know when someone is suspicious of me stealing. I didn’t feel welcome in the store, why? No greeting; no smile.
