Mortons is the best!!! I dealt with both the sales and service department this week. Doug and Chris went above and beyond to help me figure out the problem with my equipment...Great job!!! While I was waiting I ended up buying a Stihl chainsaw...I was blown away by the sales staff that went over every operational detail of the saw before I left. You just cannot get this level of customer service anywhere else especially the box stores. Thanks for a great refreshing experience that is getting harder and harder to find in todays times!!!
They are convenient in Fburg and very well stocked. At least with the Stihl parts Ive needed. Pleasant to deal with. I previously paid $25 to have an old saw looked at only to be told it was unrepairable. I trust the diagnosis. I think they would have credited to a new saw, but by the time I was ready I found cheaper.
Morton’s is one of my favorite small businesses in the area. They take extremely good care of its customers. I do not own a large landscaping company, nor do a drop tens of thousands of dollars here. However, the folks here still recognize the importance of customer service and word-of-mouth advertising. Jack, Charles, and Leo are first-class people and have always taken good care of me anytime I’ve needed a new piece of equipment or needed to get a piece serviced. I know I can always count on them to get it right the first time and treat me more than fair. I would never recommend anyone go anywhere else for their lawn equipment. I have been shopping for a new zero turn mower and have gone several distributors in the area and was quite frustrated until I stopped in at Morton’s. I met David Fischer and he gave me his undivided attention and thoroughly uxplained their products. He asked me many questions about my yard and what I mowed with previously and steamed me towards the best machine for my yard. I will be purchasing a mower from Morton’s and customer for life.
First purchase at Mortons. Fantastic price on a STIHL 18 chain saw. Even better customer service. Glad to know they provide full warranty and service for all purchases. Will definitely return for future purchases.
Charles is absolutely wonderful. He tried to help me get my new generator, that was purchased some where else, to run. Many pictures, texts and conversations. He did not know me but was very kind and patient. He truly was a pay it forward man. Thank you!!

Just giving a shout out to Tyler and Rob at Morton’s Power Equipment! Tyler has hooked me up with multiple power tools and is always my go to guy for any questions or advice and scheduling service to keep the tools properly maintained. Today, Tyler and Rob hooked me up with a Brand New Scag Zero Turn. The total deal from start to finish took about 5mins on the phone, a few text messages, and a signature when I got there to pick it up. Complete breeze! I walked into the store today 1/20/2021 around 4 PM. I was the only customer inside and none of the three guys that work there that looked at me greeted me. All three saw me as soon as I walked in to the store because we all made eye contact. I’ve never been to this store before but I came in with my mind already decided on buying a specific $600 chainsaw model plus another $200 worth of equipment I needed to buy. All three employees were sitting in the back. One of them specifically was wearing orange and when I approached him to ask for help, he gave me the most miserable, unwelcome look I’ve ever gotten at any store. My interaction with that first employee ended at that very moment, and instead I asked for Jack because I spoke to him on the phone the previous day and asked for product availability. Jack like the rest of them showed zero energy and enthusiasm to sell me anything when I got to the store. Even when the employee told Jack that I was inquiring about him, he moved slow and dragged his feet to come and meet me. I couldn’t believe the amount of arrogance this guy and the rest of the staff have. Just because you have the largest stock and availability for STIHL products, it doesn’t mean that I must buy from you. Jack tried to sell me an open box chainsaw as new and I declined, then instead I told him to place an order of the same model and to call me when it arrived at the store. He said the store doesn’t do that. Really? You are an official STIHL seller, but you can’t order what I want even if I pay in advance? The way they treated me at this store didn’t make me feel welcome or make me want to trust them. That’s why I didn’t take a chance buying a $600 chainsaw that was on display that Jack claimed it was new. I’ll take my money elsewhere and will never recommend this store to any of my friends and family. They lost $800 worth of sale from me and an opportunity to earn a loyal customer. This store needs people with good interpersonal skills and not just technical skills.

Jack Donohoe was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all of my questions and provided excellent information on what I bought and also on several other products they carry. We did the transaction over the phone yesterday, and the delivery arrived at my house exactly as scheduled this morning. Ray Taylor conducted the delivery (free by the way) and walk around, and demo of the mower with me; like Jack, he was very knowledgeable about the new Toro Z-Master I bought from them. I could have bought the exact same model closer to home, but Mortons product knowledge along with their excellent customer service is what made it easy to purchase from them. Ill be buying more equipment from them in the future for sure.
Walked in this store today (with my mask on BTW). I was the only person in the store. There was a guy behind the counter so I walked up and said hello. He said nothing. He just gave me the stink eye for about 30 seconds, then he finally said Can I help you? - like I was bothering him. I was not feeling any customer appreciation here, so I said No thanks. and walked out. Most businesses in FBurg are 100% friendlier. Go elsewhere is my recommendation.
Outstanding service and expertise, professionals in it for the long haul, who value their Customers. I had MULTIPLE Stihl dealers coordinating to meet my needs, and when I met a tight timeline (near closing) I had MULTIPLE experts prepping my new chainsaw and large batch of supplies to keep me chain sawing for months. Prices were spot on, Customer service outstanding. Go Mortons, go Stihl!
Bought a MT235HE LS compact tractor from them. Very knowledgeable salesman and easy to work with. After using tractor had a transmission leak do to manufacturer. They sent a tech out to fix it. They also took it back to the shop and installed a 3rd function cotrol i bought that came in without charging me labor. Will definitely recommend them to everyone.

Disappointed in my local go to sthil dealer. Not one person to offer help until going to the counter. I knew the piece of equipment I was looking for after calling ahead and being told they have 4 in stock I get there and they have none on hand.No expedited day they’ll get more.Just offered a unit 300$ more for tax free.

Ive been here quite a few times and Ive always had great customer service. I also got a great deal on a zero turn Toro mower. I did some pricing research and I found that Mortons had the best deal. Plus they were running a special for zero down, zero percent financing. My credit wasnt quite good enough to get the zero percent financing but they were able to find me a loan at 0.8% interest, which might as well be 0%. My payments are around $50 a month for a zero turn mower which I am very happy with.
Took my pressure washer in a while back to see why it wouldnt keep running when I started it. They took off the head for some reason and said I needed a new engine due to scoring. I took the parts home, put it back together and cleaned the card myself. Starts good now and still using it. Beware...
Bought a Toro zero-turn mower along with other yard work essentials (Stihl blower, trimmer, & chainsaw). Didn’t want to buy from a big box store like Lowe’s or Home Depot, and Morton’s offered just as good prices along with more knowledgeable customer service. Plus, they delivered my mower to Stafford for free. Highly recommend.
I paid cash for a new mower during the summer $5000, and some change. I was told the mower would be there the next day, I had to wait about a week before I got it. Excuses was all I got. I also was told that you could sell the machine back to them if not needed anymore. Went back to sell the machine, and was told they don’t buy machines back, they only buy machines back a certain time of year. Wow the machine is not a year old. They gave me every excuse there was to not buy this machine back. And they have a sign on the door that say they buy machines. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
Mortons Power Equipment was very busy. There wasnt any floor personnel to assist you in making any choices. This is what I needed as I had no info on the Stihl products displayed. I left without buying anything. I only wanted a weed whacker.
We went in here after leaving from another dealer and were uncertain of what we wanted. The salesman was Lee and he was more than helpful answering all of our questions and was in no rush. He was friendly and helpful and we ended up making a purchase today!
So while this should be a 5 star for the sales side and how they assisted me in purchasing a zero turn, the delivery side dropped it to a 3. Purchased on Friday was told it would be delivered Tuesday. Got home Tuesday no mower, no phone call. Called them and left a message, 930 am next day still no phone call. Wife calls on Wednesday and is told that sales shouldn’t schedule deliveries becaise they have one guy. Fine, I get it, my issue is nobody picked up the phone to call me on Monday or Tuesday that it would not be delivered. So now maybe it will be today or tomorrow. I work in customer service so I can 100% day that is not how you do business. I get things happen, but pick up the phone, teamwork makes the dream work!They remedied, can’t ask for more then that changed to a 5, thanks jack!

Very good selection of tools and i never have to wait at the counter because they keep atleast 3 guys up front to help you out, all are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Bought my saw and mower from them. They have a great selection of Stihl saws and Toro mowers. They do not have the best prices but they have a great available selection so you pay for convenience. I would but from them again.

I walked into Mortons on a Saturday morning to get a part I thought was the right one for my lawn mower. After everything was done, the guys at the Parts and Service counter found the part I needed by going above and beyond Customer Service to something resembling what you would do for a neighbor, good friend or a family member. Getting that part saved me getting a new lawn mower which saved me money. All I know is the rating isnt high enough! You find these places where local business go out of thier way to assist you, and when you find these places, You go Back! This is one of them! All I can say is Thank You!
Egh, horrible pricing... used them to buy parts, quoted service on my tractor, and potential to upgrade to a new LS. Wasn’t treated like I would expect from sales staff, got ignored at the parts counter... when I did get attention, I couldn’t believe the markup between them and online... and amazon gets me parts faster! Overall, not impressed.
I took in two chainsaw blades to Mortons for sharpening. Several weeks after getting them back I went to use them only to find they were the wrong ones. I returned them to the store and spoke with the store manager. I no longer had my receipt for sharpening since I did not think to keep them after something that simple. The manager said that without the receipts there was not much he could do. He compromised by giving me another used blade he had lying around in the back. So the facts are:1. I brought two 16inch chainsaw blades in for sharpening2. They gave me two 14 inch blades in return3. When I returned to the store for my orginial blades they didnt have them and gave me One used blade in exchange.

I had recently given Mortons a bad review,This is another review I felt that I needed to post,Jack Donohoe from Mortons called me afterwards and took the time to listen to the issues I had that meant a lot to me and even though I was not happy with the service I received I was happy to see that they do want to make things right and they do care about the customer.
