Ah my perfect experience. Was absolutely disgusting. The male owner Mike catcalls woman and let me specify, younger women, and to be even more specific women below 18. Hes like 50. He should go to the Himalayas and self reflect on his hotness, he looks cuz he could pass of as my great grandpa. Uncalled for and inappropriate. The behaviors is repulsive enough to not even care about their products.

Mike estler, who is the owner, loves catcalling minors . If you dont want to be going into such a persons store, stay away and run in the opposite direction.And if you do, let the guy know he isnt getting anyone with that belly and attitude. Disgusting

This store has a little bit of Ireland in it and I think they brought their prices with them too but the workers really friendly

The owner, Mike Estler, dabbles in ped0philia, and is repulsive, not only in his mannerisms, like catcalling 15 year olds, but also by the way he keeps himself groomed. Grooming here refers to his hideous moustache and wig, and not to making suggestive remarks about minors, although, clearly, thats something that tickles his fancy. If any of this, particularly his hair, disgusts you, Id recommend you to not go here.

Mike Esler is a sick man who makes s3xuaIIy suggestive comments towards 15 year old girls, specifically pointing out that he likes how small they are, directly to their face. Mike Esler is a ped0phiIe although im sure this comes as a surprise to no one who knows him, including his wife. The moustache is a clear giveaway. Do not give this establishment any business.

Had a great walkabout in Fredericksburg, VA yesterday and loved this store. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Everytime I go in here find something new and neat and always get greeted with kindness and het amazing help with questions they have great snacks and beverages you cant find anywhere nearby they have a little fridge with amazing foods that I have not been able to find since I came back from London england amazing jewelry and one of a kind items!

I was walking by today and there was a set up with employees standing outside dressed up in Irish outfits. The two older bearded men stopped me and told me that I looked like Daenerys from GOT, and kept saying things about how I looked like her. Then one of them said that we wont fully know until you walk out naked.Yeah. Not the best way to attract customers. Certainly will not be stepping foot into this establishement again.Thats not how you talk to people, especially for someone whos young enough to be their grand daughter. Please consider that I am a human and that these things are not appropriate or funny.

I would put zero stars if possible. Unsolicited and divisive opinions from the owner to customers is the quickest way to loose them. The owner spouting off without knowing who he is speaking with is unprofessional and bad for business. I had been by several times in the past and have no reason to return.

Rude. I was happy this store was here because its nice to have a source to celebrate my roots, but when I found a gift for my mom and they had a couple of types, I wanted to write the names down so I could research and come back the next day to make my purchase. Was told I couldnt have a piece of paper because they were closing. So I said Id take a picture but they wouldnt allow me to. I guess they dont want my money. Spent my valuable time there looking for a gift but now I wont be back to purchase it.

Charming shop, friendly staff, great selection and reasonable prices. I bought a sweater from them and wore it all winter long, never needing an overcoat as it kept me quite warm. Definitely fine quality and worth the cost. Our son in law was able to get information about his lineage from the knowledgeable staff. They have a little bit of everything from a selection of foods, to family coats of arms, to clothing, jewelry and knick knacks. Definitely worth a visit when visiting downtown Fredericksburg and for the locals a must shop location supporting our small businesses.

We have shopped this locally owned store for many decades. My husbands wedding band was bought at this store. So when I wanted a new claddagh ring we purposely waited until we were in town visiting to go to this store. We were told that the ring was solid sterling silver. They had to order the ring and shipped it to my home. It took about 4 weeks.I was so happy with the ring but within hours of wearing the ring it was got scratched. I called Irish Eyes to discuss my disappointment in the quality of their product. The Owner was very rude and said it wasnt his fault that I banged my hand and scratched the ring. (I dont even remember hitting my hand) He said the ring was sterling silver according to the Irish Government.So we took the ring to 3 local jewelers. All of them said that the ring was not easily repairable because it was plated sterling silver on top of brass. It was not solid sterling silver like we had been told!My Mother-in-Law went into the store to talk to them in person and they were unwilling to do a refund and continued to insist that their products are solid sterling silver.Im sad to say that no one in my family will ever shop at this local business again.

The shop owner is extremely rude From the second my group walked in we were watched like a hawk. Obviously she doesnt know how to be pleasant to people and is extremely unhappy so she wants everyone that enters her store to be as well. Dont come here unless you want to feel like your a criminal. This is one of my favorite shops in downtown Fredericksburg. The folks are always friendly and every nook is filled with interesting things.

I went in here to buy a gift for my mother. I tried to take a picture of the perfume to ask my sister if it was the right one when the shopkeeper rudely yelled at me NO PICTURES! before I could even lift my phone. This was after she stared me down with a scowl the entire time and she never even greeted me or offered to help me. She literally just screamed this across the store and scared me half to death. I wouldnt have minded if she had asked nicely, but really?So I decided to buy my mom something else for her birthday. I have no idea whats wrong with the mean old lady but shes a witch and it ruined the entire store for me. Just not worth it.Oh, and if this doesnt convince you its a terrible place, check out this other review on yelp, the store owner is severely homophobic and assaulted a gay couple.I wish I could give 0 stars, the owner kicked my boyfriend out for being openly gay, I followed my boyfriend outside and waited for my friends. After a few minutes in the cold I went back inside, not my boyfriend, and he insisted that not only did he disrepect my boyfriend that I also had been kicked out of the store, prior to this outburst he has not said a single word to me. He then came around the counter and grabbed me by the arm, which I now know is ASSAULT. I told him not to lay his disgusting hands on me and I left the store. He later called the police after assaulting me, FUNNY JOKE! The other customers in the store got the police report sorted out and he looked like a total jerk

I was planning on buying a cap and a pewter goblet. The male shop keeper was so rude I left. The female shop keeper was quite pleasant but I was so turned off by his brashness.
