They dont always have what Im looking for but I always find something. Very nice and my kids love the game area while I look around.

I do like this place for its movie inventory. Lots of good 4Ks and blurays at good price. Im leaving this review in hopes that business owners will read it and maybe make a change. The employees here are cold and unhappy. No smiles. Ho happy faces. Nothing. I work in customer service. I understand how stressful it can be. But these employees here make you feel very unwelcome. You could cut the tension with a knife. It actually feels awkward when you walk in. You almost feel nervous to ask for help because they all look like they are gonna scream at you if bother them. And its not just one. Its all of them. I just get in and get out as quick as I can.

Its a good place to buy physical media from prices are sort of high in my opinion but for the most part they have good selection

The store is bigger than the east side one with a slightly bigger inventory, but thats the only plus. You cant find anything in the store beyond narrowing down the rough area it may be. They sort by letter but dont alphabatize further than that, meaning you cant find anything. Their response was that it was too much work. They directed to ask at the front to see in they have it in stock, but it would take quite some time to try to track it down even if they did have it because you have to go shelf by shelf to see where it was sitting.Im only going back if I want a game. That is a very small section so its much more manageable.

It was my first time at the new Mega Media! The store is huge and has the so many pop figures. The employees were very professional and helpful.

Found a PS4 Remote there that they were kind enough to set aside for me... When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised to see a selection of movies including movies I have not been able to get my hands on. I will definitely be back!

Horrible customer service, rude employees. Brought a nicely stacked tub of dvds in for an appraisal and they offered me 15 cents a dvd, they wanted to open my new sealed in pack dvd sets, and the 20-30 minute wait time turned in to 2.5 hours. 4 employees working, 2 doing busy work while the one assessing mine was ringing up customers while I stood there and waited. I highly recommend starting away from this store and will NEVER purchase from them. Totally opposite the Brookfield store. What a waste of time driving 40 minutes each way to get treated like this, almost not getting my lid back, and the employee literally throwing my dvds back in like this. Just horribly rude.

They wouldnt buy my game because they said it had scratches and it was in near mint condition. The employee very clearly did not want to be bothered to actually look at it. The collection in the store was very unorganized and insanely difficult to find out where stuff is located. It was not even alphabetically organized just a very poor set up and employees are not up to the task of customer service.

They are also the only mega media location out of the three in the metro milwaukee area to carry music CDs.Superior to half price books in every way minus the books. I called this location to ask about an item and had it placed on hold. When I arrived after a 30min drive to get there I was informed that they don’t have it and they mistook it for another item. Won’t be calling or coming back. Thanks for nothing...

This is my go-to place to buy movies, but lately nothing has been alphabetize and it is impossible to find what youre looking for. the store recently came under New Management, and I wonder if that has something to do with it. Yet, until they get their stuff together oh, I dont think Ill be doing much shopping there.

Best place to get games at a good price

Whenever I used to come here it was always fine. But recently I brought an old Wii in that worked perfectly, and everything was fine till they put in a disc and it didn’t want to read it. The system literally read multiple game discs with no issue before bringing it in, and when they tried another disc, it loaded it with ease, yet they still refused to take it. NEVER had issues here before with ignorance and dishonesty but recently it’s been an issue. Ended up having to take it to Half Price down the road just to sell it off without issue, and Half Price doesn’t pay a damn thing for anything.

I have never sold anything, but visit this location a couple of times a month. Prices on the used games are about right. Maybe a couple of dollars more than buying online, but you get to see the condition in person and rather spend a couple of bucks more to support a local business. Staff is friendly and they are all knowledgeable.

Under NEW Management and you can tell the store looks great the new management also has lowered some of their prices. The place feels better looks better and they have .75 bins full of movies. The Assistant manager i talked to today helped me pick up some movies based off movies I told him I liked and the young lady he was working with they both were just very helpful just love the atmosphere there now.

Just resigned this morning saying I have to much going on in my life and that its an issue for me getting there. I was having issues making it there on time cause of personal matters. I kept the messages very professional but the GM (Amy) was very unprofessional about it. I told her I think it would be best for her and I if she just found a different employee. And in response to the I get a message from her saying and I quote I agree it has been a constant issue with you getting to work on time and the drama that you brought with, best of luck. In response to that all I said was I hoped you would have kept it a bit more professional but so be it. I hope things get more stable for me, pray for me and I will do likewise. I have to honestly say she is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked for. This may seem unprofessional by my posting this and I understand that. But the way she acts and treats some of her employees over the others is just unbelievable. But I hope she finds happiness in whatever it is she wants in life and best wishes to her. I wouldnt wish Ill on anyone.

Amazing prices and tons of movies!

Went to sell a tablet with keyboard and a kindle fire. For starters, the guy at the counter just looked at me. No hello, how can I help you?. Then told me that it would take a while to look at my two things. I had the cords to both the kindle and tablet, but they wouldnt take them at all without charging blocks. Seriously?? So Im going to go spend $20 on charging blocks for them to give me maybe $20 for everything? Not even my nearly $300 Fitbit came with a charging block brand new!!!

Would recommend this place over Gamestop any day.

This place rocks! Whenever Im in Milwaukee I stop in, and you should too. The staff is always super helpful with answering questions and/or finding things in the store. The prices are great. Really, its a great stop.

Watch yourself here i just had a experience where a clearance dvd was marked 10 cents and the guy refused to sell it to me due to the conputer marking it wrong. Where wisconsin law says otherwise and i will be reporting this to the bbb at my earliest convenience

Not only did they have the product I was looking for at a reasonable price; during checkout, there was a individual that have came in and started screaming at the teller that was checking me out. I am amazed at the patience and how well that teller handled that situation, and resolved it rather quickly. The staff was incredibly professional, and very friendly. And I didnt catch that tellers name but he deserves a raise.

Bad product selection, everything is overpricedEDIT: Bought a copy of Watch Dogs for my PS3, was excited to try it out when I got home, to find out the game did not work at all. No scratches on the disk, plenty of space on my system, all other games run perfectly. Convenient that rhey have a no return policy.

Pretty good selection. Most of their movies are between $1 and $5. Clean, organized and pretty good at acknowledging you when you enter the store.

Theyre great at knowing when you need help versus when youre just there to browse. Theres a great selection of old and newer games and electronics.

They always have a great variety of games and accessories. Inventory is constantly changing, so I pop in frequently.

You can find a lot of stuff here; old movies, video games, etc. Depending on who is working though they will stiff you on items you sell them. I had a DVD that had been opened but used only a few times, it was great condition and all. These people only offered me 45 cents for but then turned around and slapped a $15 price tag on it. Buy from here, but youre better off taking your stuff to goodwill.

Yes the selection varies wildly from location to location but generally over the years the customer service has been great and they have paid much better than Gamestop. Their prices are based on the amount of stock, rarity and other factors concerning any particular you are selling to them. Bonus fact, they will take donations of old but working electronics if you cannot sell online.

I would strongly advise against going here. I came here a few times to look at some consoles and Xbox games and ended up not buying anything, not because of prices or anything, but because of the behavior of the manager. Ive seen a lot of other reviews that call for a change in management, and I definitely agree. Shes completely unprofessional. Shes loud and seems to like gossiping more than actually managing the place. Shes not very friendly or nice to customers and she doesnt seem to have any grasp of how to manage a staff at all. Honestly I cant even imagine how hard it is to work for someone so incompetent. Normally I wouldnt ever target someone specifically in a review but theres something about the manager here that really pushes my buttons. Its sad because this could be such a cool store, and has some nice younger guys working there, but she definitely ruins it. I wouldnt be surprised if this place goes out of business soon and its her tactics, policies, and behavior that are behind it.

Like the selection. Some of the prices on movies are a bit high for my taste but still a decent selection.Came in last week and was gonna sell a laptop. A kid with dreads and a kid in glasses were very nice. Told me its not worth it to sell my laptop there that the boss would rip me off and i should sell it myself. Ended up selling it on ebay for $300 compared to the $60 they could offer me so awesome they helped me.Kind of sad to hear that good kids were working for someone they know is ripping people off that just seems like bad business to me. But it is a resale location and from what i have heard people know its a ripoff so hopefully they will have more employees like that. So people dont get ripped off in the future. Maybe a change in management would help?

I dont come here often.. the times I have.. the employees have below average customer service skills. They always act stressed out and let it pour out on customers. Questions seem like a burden to them.The selection is good for a store of this purpose, Ill give them that.But, today is my final straw. I went in to sell some old movies.. maybe 15, and my handheld camera..Right as Im walking through the door, I can hear one of the employees telling the one working the counter that they arent making big purchases.. listing pretty much everything. Never even looked at my belongings to determine how much it would be. Which, I dont think I had a giant order. So I turn out to leave, and the one declining service gives the little out the door jab.. Happy holidaysThen why be open? Why offer the service on your website? You couldnt get off your a s s and at least look at what I had? You couldnt at least offer some sort of explanation?Anyways.. Ive always liked the store, but their employees are rude and have no work ethic!I have purchased tons of stuff from them, ever since they opened at the other location down the road.. not just selling items. I wont be doing business with them ever again. First time I went here they were so nice and even gave me a deal on videos next few times I went I got screwed in a time of need. Saw one of my dvds that they brought off me(i was once a on a DVD collector)going for 12 bucks wish I had known about their scamming ways sooner.

When I was in the store a week ago the guys behind the counter seemed entirely uninterested in being there. One was hiding his face under the counter looking at his phone, and the other didnt acknowledge that I was in the store. I told him I just need the cheapest gameboy cartridge for a case mod Im doing, and it took him two minutes of staring blankly at the shelf to process what I was asking for, and even then he tried to get me to choose a more expensive option. The Brookfield location has much better service.

Wow. Where do I even start? What an unprofessional place. Ive visited this store multiple times to add to my DVD collection, and each time left prior to purchasing anything because of the people that work here. Thats not to say all of them, as Ive encountered one young man, probably in college, who works there who seems to be the only competent employee, especially over the manager. This manager is at a level of incompetency that I cant even comprehend. Ive seen her throw an application for an employee away because the applicant was too old! Thats illegal!! Ive also witnessed the manager get a back rub from another employee in the back while there have been lines of customers at the front counter, where there is only one worker. Like really? Ive also witnessed both the manager, and Im assuming the supervisors, loudly and obviously make a big deal about losing a resume of a person who was physically standing at the counter waiting for an interview. How this place is still in business baffles me. If I was the owner, I would fire the manager as soon as possible, especially considering the place seems to be hemorrhaging money.And to the one young man who consistently seems to do his job right, please stay in school so you dont end up like the slobs that work around you. Keep it up!

Was slow to go through all the movies I brought in, then told me they wouldnt take 3/4 of them, and the 1/4 they did take the only gave me $8 for. Otherwise my wife and I found more movies to bring back home

You can hear the female manager, gossiping all over the store. Dont sell your games here, honestly youll get better prices selling them online. Wally and Wayne were super helpful with helping me pick out a console that wasnt broken.

I loooove this store!!! The customers of nearby shops regarded my fiancee & I like we had the Plague but the staff in-store were pretty accommodating as well as civil at least.

The game boy color game selection was a bit sparse, but they have tons of dvds and great prices.

Before the store moved they had a whole a Anime section and a huge variety with great prices. Now the selection is terrible. And the good ones are behind glass and way over priced. The Manga selection is completely gone. Theres room in the new store for it. They should bring it back. Otherwise this place is pretty cool.

Well if you like not being greeted when you walk in and ignored while youre shopping then this is the store for you! I purchased a ds game for $8 then realized i had a lot of singles and asked if they could trade me for a 10. The new girl didnt know how to do it so i asked if the guy next to her could. He just gave her the cold shoulder and was off in space. She then asked the fat guy that sits behind the glass the whole time (every time im there hes there) if he could do it, to which he replied no we dont need any. Ive never been to a store where ive been denied trading singles for a 10, and they acted like i wasnt even there. I felt so bad for the new girl because she has to work with such lacky, anti-social, inconsiderate losers.Ugh the only upside is they have a nice selection of games.

Other mega media xchanges are better. This one is smaller and has less stock.
