I am not related to Larry because this review is going to sound like hes my favorite cousin, but my favorite cousin grew up in Littlefield, Texas, the hometown of the late country music legend Waylon Jennings, and now lives in Levelland, Texas. My point is, I am not related to Larry. Wow! My wife visited Experimax in Franklin today. Larry went above and beyond to share with us about our computer and issues it was having. He helped us a great deal and informed us how we could call a certain company and ask for a certain kind of expert. We took notes. We also bought a small used computer for a fair price. Hes friendly, knowledgeable and seems like he enjoys being around other human beings. We will do business with Larry and Experimax again.

Larry saved the day. Super kind to me as I panicked over what I thought was a broken iMac. I will take all of my Macs there from now on.

Best experience I have ever had walked in with no appointment they started running test explaining all test told me what I needed and it was ready that afternoon I dont know why anyone would go to apple or Best Buy unless you have a plan with them glad a friend recombined this place

Bought several things from this place. Went to trade back in the Imac I purchased and after 6 months it supposedly depreciated 75%. Shady business practice would highly not recommend. Just go to the Apple Store and buy new.

This store is absolutely the best place ever! I had water damage on my Apple laptop (which of course holds every piece of information that I need to do business and personal things.. )I go into the Experimac of Franklin store to be greeted very politely by the owner Larry, he genuinely felt for me as I explained what happened. He was very honest with the possible results of not being able to recover data or even getting the machine to work anymore. I was way more worried about the data on the device than the actual computer.Their techs are extremely knowledgable with Apple devices and electronics in general. They talked way over my head at times. Anyways, this place is awesome. They put off a great family vibe to their customers, overall a great experience. I would not only recommend them but I would promote them! They are awesome!!

Wonderful customer service, they helped me remove several viruses and explained everything that they were doing for me. Every question that I asked was answered knowledgeably. I seriously cannot emphasize enough how great my experience with them was. I ABSOLUTELY recommend going to see them for any computer issues!

I have a 2008 desktop Mac and I brought it in for them to look at. The man was very nice. He helped me by getting the machine out of my car. Then he looked at lt and was knowledgeable about what was immediately wrong. After his coworker fixed that, the first man, Larry,put it back in the car for me—and no charge! Thank you!

Great, honest guys. Went in, first time going there, with a Mac problem. They quickly unpacked my computer, turned it on and for some reason, the problem that I had been experiencing was not present anymore. They asked several questions, no condescending attitude that you often get at other places - really helpful folks in trying to understand if indeed there was maybe an issue with the setup at my home. After a few minutes, they packed up the computer. I asked what I owed and they said nothing. What a great experience! I will definitely look to these guys in the future if I have questions and need help. Thank you!

I’ve bought a few apples from this store, I had an issue with one of my desktop apples and brought it in for repairs. The owner, knew my name, checked things out and found the fan setting was messed with. He babysat my desktop for a while to make sure it was the issue and when I came back, it was ready to go. Free of charge! That’s service! I definitely will be back and would recommend service and purchase from them! You guys rock!

The guys at Experimac Franklin saved the day!! My laptop wouldnt turn on, but they had it up & running in less than 10 minutes and I didnt lose any of my data! Seriously a life saver, as I work from home and need my laptop on a day-to-day basis. I really cannot thank them enough for turning a daunting errand into a pain-free task! 10/10. Amazing service. Very friendly and helpfully. Before walking into the building we were greeted with a good morning and he held open the door for me and my family. As I was carrying desktop and my husband carrying our child. Very knowledgeable and understanding of our concerns. Helped us through our issue and it didn’t feel like we were hassled into anything.

These guys were knowledgable and professional. They communicated with me while they had my computer regarding what was wrong and called with a quote before proceeding to fix. They actually upgraded some items, and fixed little cosmetic things for free. Their prices were very fair.

Insanely cool people. 100% recommended by me :) 90% of the time I have gone in (about 8-9x over 3 years) they have fixed it on the spot, while I wait. Has never taken over 15 mins either. My 2009 iMac was having a problem and wouldn’t start. I took it in and the nice gentleman worked with us for over half and hour and determined the video card was no good and the computer could not be saved. Really appreciate the great service and expertise.

My daughter and I went to this business to have her school computer worked on. They immediately treated us at the door, asked about the problem with her computer and even began to diagnose the problem. They figured out what was wrong with it. They were extremely helpful! My wife had an iPhone 4 that was her deceased grandmothers that was recently found in a move. We werent able to get it turned on as the phone was starting to come apart. They put it back together for us so that we could get the photos from it. 4 other places in town wouldnt touch the phone because it was so old. A+ customer service!

The team at this location was very helpful. After having my MacBook Air diagnosed at the Apple store, I was left frustrated and not taken care of. The diagnosis was that I needed a new screen and that it would cost upwards of $400 to fix. I ended up getting a second opinion with the guys at Experimac in Franklin, TN. They were very friendly and worked to correctly diagnose my MacBook Air. They found it was the hard drive that needed to be replaced. They were thorough, honest, and ethical. It ended up costing a fraction of what it would’ve cost at Apple, and Apple wouldn’t have fixed the actual issue. Do yourself a favor and go see the guys at Experimac! You won’t be disappointed.

I am so pleased with Experimac in Franklin. I have had a few problems with my previous phone and now my new phone as well as my computer. They looked at it right away and fixed the problems!! Larry (the owner) is very personable and helpful. Also Luke helped to fix all the problems! I highly recommend them!!

Great place to get used computers, ipads, iphones, repairs, etc. Excellent back to school location, especially if you mac computer is running slow. They did a few upgrades for me and got me running fast! Plus they did some repair work on my iPhone at the same time. Back after lunch and the work was done!

I have a Mac that will not power up after a thunderstorm outage. I called experimac to establish if they could repair. The person I spoke to was not certain what was wrong. I suggested that it may be the PCU (power control unit) that may need replacing. The person I spoke with then started talking about CPU. I asked if Experimac was an authorized Apple repair they said no. I will go to Apple in the Galleria

So I bought a MacBook from this place and when I tried to login they hadn’t taken the password off. I guessed it luckily but I was unable to reset the computer and decided to return it. The man working tried telling me it wasn’t the same computer he had sold me not even 24 hours ago. I had to argue with him for about an hour before he eventually gave me my money back. Do not go this place he tried to finesse me for $415 when it was clearly the same laptop, receipt and everything.

Friendly and fast but was only advised after the repair of my iPhone screen that the repair materials were non-branded so I will never be able to use the fingerprint function and my screen would be dimmer than standard.

This is the place to have your iphone fixed over all other places in the area.
