My initial estimate was incorrect so my vehicle sat for 3 weeks before it had any work done on it.My representative did not effectively communicate with my insurance company, so the insurance didn’t know there was a change to the estimate.I was told I would receive updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I went 9 business days without an update at one point.My vehicles door was not aligned when I got it back so air was loudly rushing in on the high way, so I had to repair that.There were red marks on my vehicle where the work was done when I got it back, which should have been cleaned off. But I think the washers were too busy shining my floor mats to high heaven. It was actually difficult to keep my shoes from slipping off the pedals.Where the shop removed emblems from my vehicle, dents were left.I will not be recommending this shop to anyone.
I was recommended to visit Tommy at Frank Kent. He is extremely polite and professional, and most importantly straight up honest. When every other shop was too busy and overestimating the quote, Frank Kent beat the others and I will go back if Tommy is there. #1 thing about him, he follows through on his commitments!
I used the Frank Kent Body Shop for major hail damage repairs on my ATS, and they took fantastic care of my vehicle. Kept me updated on the process of having it fixed, and dealt with all the insurance paperwork, etc. I felt the job was done promptly and passionately! I will use your service in the future.
Should be negative 5 stars. Geico sent me here after a no fault accident. The shop never gave an eta on repairs. Car came back incomplete a month after dropping it off. No one ever called to advise it was done. We happen to be in the area and stopped by to check in person since every time I called, they didn’t have a status. To my surprise when I got there they are like “oh this was done last week.” By then I already paid over $100 in rental as my rental coverage with Geico ran out. Shop does not want to pay for this.Now I m on the phone with them regarding the noise I m hearing on the side of the impact and they want me to come in for them to check but cannot provide a loaner. I mean even the worst businesses take some responsibility, not this one. Also, whoever they have answering phones tends to just put you on hold.

They took forever to give my car back... they said that the guy working on my car had been sick... then it turned into he quit... and my car hadnt been touched .. they had it for 2 weeks and did nothing with it.. they returned my car a week later after I called and asked for the estimate time of completion. Not q great experience at all

Took my 2006 Hummer H3 that I bought from Kent for $51000 for repairs . The front end knocked when I made turns . The battery wouldn’t hold a charge and my tire pressure monitor lights kept coming on . A couple of weeks later I was told it was ready . I go in pay $3795 for repairs and start home . Two blocks down the street the tire pressure monitor light comes and the front end is still knocking. So I go back they keep the vehicle for a couple of weeks and they tell it needs more repairs. The front end they replaced wasn’t the problem now it needs a steering column and the two tire pressure monitors replaced now needs two more . They want $2300 more to fix it . I am a veteran retired postal carrier I can’t afford those extra charges so I leave . Now a few months later my car won’t start because the$250 new battery (+$100 installation) won’t hold a charge. So I’m out $3795 my car doesn’t start I need a steering column and two tire pressure monitors and Frank Kent tells me I should have traded off the clunker but after they took my money that Capital One is charging like 22% interest on .Thanks Frank Kent you’re a customer friendly piece of work.

I called at 7am and Shelby answered she was sweet and helpful while I was in a state of Panic. She connected me with Patrick and he was honest enough to tell me he didnt understand what my situation was but that if I could drive my vehicle up to the shop he would be able to look at it closer. As soon as I got there I checked and in and Patrick came out didnt make me feel crazy and had one of his techs assist me. I couldnt BRAG enough on how helpful they were and caring.
Patrick handle the estimate said it would take 7 days to replace and paint a bumper going on third week with car still not finished not professional at all terrible
Went to body shop for an insurance estimate. Excellent experience! Very friendly, efficient, helpful and professional staff. I cant speak for the rest of the company, but I can highly recommend the staff at the body shop!

This was the second time I have taken my car to be repaired at the collision center. The first time it took them 3-4 times to fix my car correctly. My mistake for taking it back again. This time they were going to let me take it without fixing the motor mounts that my insurance paid them to fix. Maybe they thought I was a female and wouldnt notice but my husband taught me better. I didnt even leave the lot. I took it right back. This place is supposed to be known because of their name. Dont let that fool you. They give you the run around and take forever to fix you car only to have to take it right back because it wasnt fixed correctly. Highly do NOT recommend Frank Kent Collision Center.

Took my Ford Expedition in because the driver’s side door was catching on the front fender. I had no appointment and when I called, they told me just to come on in. When I did, the body shop manager looked at it, spent 20 minutes adjusting both the door and the front fender to where there was no rub or obnoxious popping sound. When I asked how much I owed them, he said nothing, they do little things like this for free and to just remember them in the future. I most certainly will. I didn’t think people did this anymore. Bravo to Frank Kent Body Shop.
If you want to WAIT, take your vehicle here. The original estimate said repair would be completed in 4 days. Today is the 14th day, and I am informed they are just now starting on working on my car. My damage was from hail so there was no hidden damage (like may exist in a collision accident). My car was seen by my insurance adjuster the same day I dropped it off at Frank Kent. These delays make no sense to me since everything was plain to see the day I dropped off the car.Poor communication: Of course, the service adviser blames my insurance company on the delay. My service adviser could have communicated this to me along the way but nothing was mentioned until today (WHEN I CALLED THEM). At 8:11 this morning, I left a voice message with my adviser. Four and a half hours later and still no response from my message, I called again and finally got to speak to him. He offered no apologies offered just excuses.I wanted others to know the truth about the potential of excessive delays and POOR communication with Frank Kent Collision repair. I sure hope the quality of the repair is excellent. I am VERY DISSATISFIED so far. I wonder if anyone will reach out to me with at least an apology.
I took my vehicle to this body shop for repair & was extremely pleased when it was returned to me. Frank Kent Body Shop did a wonderful job. Joe Poettgen was very helpful, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them.

Do not take your car here for repairs especially if you are using State Farm insurance, the representative I spoke with only wanted to repair my car as cheaply as possible based on State Farm recommendation... to patch up spots and not to replace damage areas with new genuine parts that were on my vehicle prior to the accident. If I wanted a cheap and unsafe car then I would have purchase said type of car when I was in the market vehicle vs a brand-new car with excellant safety ratings last year.
I seriously cannot recommend this location enough. Start to finish they have been so kind and helpful!We got into a pretty gnarly accident after driving in from Minnesota and didnt know where to go, didnt know any businesses in the area, nothing. I was referred here after calling the local Honda dealership and Im so glad this is where they sent me!Kelly was super helpful. She outlined the process, was very patient (Ive never been in a car accident before, let alone a serious one, and had no idea what I was doing), and communicated throughout the entire process. Even dealing with my nightmare of an insurance claims person who somehow shorted them money and was impossible to get ahold of she was always cordial and transparent.If by some twist of fate I ever need body work done in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I will definitely come here, and I will recommend my friends in the Dallas area always come here!

I have a 2012 civic loaded out I put it in for hail damage they kept the car 3 weeks over what they said and I bought the car with side moldings and front and rear spoilers a 2500 buck add on. They could not even put them on correctly and taking it back for them to do it right. Still today they falling off I would highly not recommend this shop to anybody the worst shop ever. Truly disappointed in Honda And never own another one ever

Frank Kent was wonderful! I had my car repaired there back in October after having a bad experience with Service King. I am glad I decided to take my car to FK instead! I went one morning, explained that all my info was sent to service king by my insurance company and that I didnt wanted to use them and they handled everything for me and got started on my car right away! They called me with an estimated time and cost and my car was ready ahead of schedule. It looked great! Thank you frank kent, great work!

My SRX had hail damage from earlier this year and when my insurance company sent me to Service King for an estimate, they said they may have to remove the whole top of the car. If the work was going to be that extensive, I decided I would prefer to take it to my dealership body shop. Frank Kent looked at the car and said it would be at least a month before I could get on the schedule and the repairs would be 2-4 weeks. I never heard back from FK, so called about a month later and left a message for my service person. I never got a call back, so called again later in the week at which point I was told that the serviceperson I worked with didnt even deal with my insurance company and besides that they have no open appointments until next year, so theyre not sure why he told me I would have to wait a few weeks. I get that people are busy, but a phone call or a return call is just common courtesy. Now Ive wasted a whole month that I could have been on Service Kings schedule, so thats where Im headed. Most of the people at the FK dealership are very nice, but my service there has just been so-so as far as wait times and making mistakes and more issues than a new-car should have had. I was planning on heading back to Autobahn next year and this seals the deal for me.
