I just switched over to poudre coop for my propane. Stacey & the guys he sent up were very courteous & nice, and willing to work with me when I realized there had been a miscommunication about how much fuel we needed to purchase. I really appreciate the great customer service.

Speaking as an RVer, this place is awesome!! They have a free dump, fuel pumps that are wide and easily accessible, and propane. In addition, one of the guys in their shop took unscheduled time out of his day to check and fill up my tires. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!!

My husband and I stopped by the Coop a couple weeks ago. We were there to refill 4 propane tanks. There were 3 one gallon tanks and a 5 gallon tank. 3 of the 4 had to be re-certified. One of those was indeed the 5 galloon tank. That trip cost us over $100.Several weeks past. We hooked the 5 gallon tank to our garage heater. Sure enough, we found a leak. The leak was coming from the valve. My husband called Coop. He was informed by a representative that he will need to bring our receipt and the tank back.Yesterday my husband did just that. My husband was informed that they couldn’t fix the valve as the tank was full. My husband asked for a manager. That lady informed my husband that she was the manager. My husband requested from what should he do with a tank that was filled and certified by them? He was told that it isn’t their fault. The manager kept repeating this statement. Now, we have this tank that is useless to us. Not only that it isn’t safe.We have been taking our propane tanks to them since we moved to Wellington, 10+ years. Now, they lost our business.

This place will have most things that you need to keep your funky set up going. They have pump plumbing and random hardware and tool selections. This place is on the top 3 of places to check if you need something today.

I love Poudre Valley Coop! I especially favor the tire and automotive department. The guys are very personable and patient when giving you quotes. I bring my vehicles to them when something is wrong and I get quoted with whatever is wrong and I have them repair them. The store is also very convenient for getting things Im needing like gas and propane and other home needs. If they added a grocery store I think I would be there always.

For $100 an hour ya better be on it. You cant have rookies working on vehicles. Im a fair wrench I wont be back. I left specific instructions for parts and mechanic to work on my truck that were ignored. I had to complete the repair myself.Update...truck is doing well. I figure if it hasnt failed by now, its good.

The co-op is really great about keeping an accurate, full inventory. The people are friendly, smiling. It is an Ace hardware store, which in my mind means that they go the extra mile to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, I am a member of the co-op and sometimes get a little rebate check. Their annual hamburger and hot dog lunch for customers is a perfect time to reconnect with the local agricultural community. The only downside is that I wish they still had working ranch clothing for women. There is a sense of community pulling together at the co-op.

Had previously used Poudre Valley Co-op in the past and was told that I would be topped off every month so that I would not be slammed with large propane bills inconsistently. This did not happen, so I had several months with no propane delivery then several months when the delivery costs were several hundred dollars at a time. I called, complained and opted to go with another company. After four years, I received a contract in the mail and thought to give local another chance. I filled out the contract and just received it back today (propane season starts October 1st) that my contract was rejected due to my driveway. When I called and spoke to Stacy, he said that its because I lodged a complaint four years ago. Its disappointing when a local company doesnt have the integrity to be honest with their customers, nor work together to make things right. Fortunately, Surburban Proprane has been delightful to work with and was kind enough to continue my service, despite being not as local.

Review №18

They used to be competitive on propane prices. Now their delivery driver says he has to add on a $75 delivery charge and do a pressure test. What a joke. Only wanted to get 125 gallons because we will be selling house and its March already. Wont use more then that until winter comes again. Do yourself a favor and order from someone else. We were only ordering from them because the others have a minimum of 250 gallons but they were .15 cents a gal cheaper.

We had a tire tread separation while traveling through Colorado on vacation. Poudre Valley CoOp was recommended by Nathan’s RV Service. One call did it all. They ordered 5 new trailer tires for us and had them ready the next day on our arrival. They had them replaced quite quickly. We were able to resume our trip home in short order. They were nice and friendly, and got us back on the road fast. Highly recommend them for all your needs.

As a 21 year old woman, with some but little knowledge about cars, I am nothing short of impressed by the guys at this shop. I have had a few issues with my vehicle over the past few years and every time they go above and beyond. Theyve been able to schedule me in last minute and even replaced on of my tail lights for free when I went in for another issue. I never feel as though I have been overcharged and trust them completely! They were recommended to me by a trusted friends mechanic, and I will never go anywhere else for any future vehicle issues.

This review is for the car care side of the business. The prices are the best around but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Often rude at times, poor at time management, pretty slow, and talk bad about customers behind their back. Waiting room looks as if it hasn’t been dusted in years. If you can take the price I recommend GCR Tires right up the road but if your company has an account at the Coop your probably screwed.

My initial experience was great. I was desperate to get a tire fixed and they got me in right away. The more I went there the worse my experience got, and I now know why they could get me in so quick. Simply put, the guys dont know what they are doing, they are rude, and not knowledgable. They do not use the correct sized socket and then they blame you when your lug nuts are stripped. They also neglected to put my valve stem screw on covers on, so now I have to replace those as well. They also told me they fixed a tire, but I put it back on my car (without driving on it), and it was flat the next day. Took it back, and it still had a nail in it. I have now left multiple times with a flat tire, because they cant figure out how to loosen the lug nuts they ruined. Horrible service from the staff and management all the way around. The manager was very rude and not at all willing to admit his team failed to do their job. He also never offered to replace the valve stem covers they forgot to put on, or the lug nuts his team messed up. I had no issues, until his guys worked on my tires. I highly recommend you avoid this place for you tire needs, unless you like to buy lug nuts & be treated poorly.

Review №47

Exceptionally poor customer service. I was very excited to come here and support a local co-op; I even drove 45 minutes to get here. I could have easily spent upwards of several hundred dollars (I know its not the big bucks) but I left empty handed because the customer service was so bad. I came in shopping for grass seed (and other lawn/garden supplies) because I found them online and it looked they had a great selection of grass seed. When I couldnt find the seed I was looking for (that was advertised online and they had a brochure out by the grass seed for it) I went to the front desk to inquire. I said Hey, Im looking for this seed but I didnt see it back there. There were three cashiers. The one who was helping me turned to another (presumably a manager) to ask. The managers reply was It comes in 25 or 50 (she did not specify that she was referring to a 25 or 50 POUND bag). Then she walked away. I wasnt sure if she was going to get it for me or not? The other two cashiers proceeded to stare at me blankly. I finally said Thats it? and they just said we dont have it in the bulk section. If any ONE of these things had happened, I may have walked out as a purchasing (and returning) customer:1. Ask me if I want them to get the 25/50 pound for bag me.2. Ask me how much seed I need.3. Ask me what Im looking for in a grass and see if they can help me find another seed that would fit my needs.4. Ask me if there is anything else that I need. After it was obvious that they were not going to put any effort into assisting me with a purchase, I told them that they werent being very helpful, at which point, they proceeded to BLAME ME for NOT ASKING (any one of the 4 items mentioned above). HELLO! What do you think Im doing standing there???? I walked up to the front desk to ask for help!Im going to venture to guess that there is some serious dysfunction with management and a high level of employee dissatisfaction here, as is what is often seen in such cases of widespread apathy in a customer-service retail-type position. Either that, or no one who works there has spent much time off the farm and has not learned the basics of customer service in the business/retail world.Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience and I will never return to or recommend this establishment to anyone.
