Dont go anywhere else. Garage 9 is knowledgeable, affordable, and most of all, trustworthy. I know that when I bring my car to them, theyll tell it to me straight and they wont try to add things on if I dont need them done. Theyve been honest when they can and cant do something, and when they can, Ive never had problems afterward. Garage 9 knows what theyre doing and theyll do it well and for a fair price. They were a referral to me from the Subadude for my non-Subaru vehicles, and weve never gone anywhere else since. Ive been going to them for years--even though theyre across town--because I know that they are worth the money and effort. 10/10 recommend.

This place is great. I fully trust the owners. Stu is awesome and is very honest and helpful when it comes to your car. I never have to worry about paying for things that arent necessary, because thats just not how the owners run the business. And I never have to worry about the quality of the work because the owners pride themselves on quality! I will definitely be coming here from now on!

I just went in for my first ever visit at garage nine and had a great experience. They were very kind friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing to my car to me as they were doing it. I will be going back to see Christian and Stu again for all of my car service needs. These guys are incredibly personable and know what they are doing I recommend them to all.

I withheld leaving a review for a while because I didn’t know what I thought of the whole experience. Was it the car? Was it these guys? I still don’t fully know. This story is from 2018.All I know is, I went it to get my water pump replaced, timing belt, new heads, etc....After taking it to garage 9, my car broke down fully 3 times (never happened before that), spent $8k and eventually sold my 2010 Forester XT after bringing it in. Christian was nice but they had my car for almost 3 months with little answers. While at the shop the check engine light came on, also a terrible “metal ripping” sound on at 3,000rpm that they couldn’t fix. All these things they were stumped on - which I was not happy about since I just bought a new engine and trans...on top of the head work I had just had done in my original engine, which was a waste.Here is the bottom line. My normal mechanic recommended these guys to do the head work, since it was a turbo. That turned from a $1,900 job into a $8k job and a ruined car with all the lights on. Faulty Subaru turbo engines? Maybe! Mistakes by Garage 9, as well? I think so...

Very knowledgeable but most importantly trust worthy. As a woman it is important to be able to find a mechanic who doesnt take advantage of you. Great hometown mechanic!

I had taken my car to Subaru because the headlight fuse kept blowing. Subaru said I needed a new headlight control unit for over $1,000. I called Garage 9 and I am glad I did. Garage 9 are Subaru experts and quickly diagnosed it was a frayed wire in the rear lift door. $100 later I was fixed by Garage 9. Subaru would have charged me over 1,000 and then several hundred more to find the real problem. I only take my cars to Garage 9. They are the experts.
