I feel very taken advantage of that you guys charged me $600 to fix my malfunction switch on my 2004 Chevy Impala. When I looked online the most expensive one is about 40$. Not 500$. It won’t let me post pictures on here for some reason but I can send it to you. I thought you guys were my friends. It was a while ago but still. I’m very hurt. I’m a 20 year old girl who has barely made ends meet. :(

This review is for my second major repair I had completed at G&D Auto. My ac compressor had begun to seize up but I needed my vehicle to be able to get back and forth to a job I had just started. Over the phone I received some advice from Robbie of things to check for to narrow down the issue. I was able to get to work for the first week until the compressor completely locked up. I brought my vehicle in to the guys shop to have the ac compressor replaced, ac system evaced and recharged, as well as having a couple minor but essential repairs ran into thanks to their exceptional eye and quick acting responses to keep me in the know. Their prices are absolutely unbeatable, their professionalism unmatched. At no point have I ever felt taken advantage of or a money grab was taking place. And for as busy as their shop always is, these major repairs have always been completed in a day; I dont know how they do it between the two of them but I always feel my vehicle is a priority and in the best hands. This is the only shop I will use for repairs I cant complete myself and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced shop. Thanks guys and keep up the great work.

We had the a/c compressor replaced. Scott was very professional and diagnosed the problem. Easily could have said we needed everything in the a/c system replaced, but they were totally honest and said the clutch had failed. Got it done on a Saturday for us. Highly recommend this business.

We just want to say we have so much gratitude for the incredible people at G&D Automotive. When we bought our used work van in Arizona from a towing company near Florence, we had some issues with it that we couldnt fix on the side of the road. We werent quite sure what we were going to do...The van was purchased by us, Octane the Art to help a very good friend get the parts she needed to restore her badly damaged 1967 Buick Skylark convertible. The plan was to get the van for a good price, drive it to pick up the parts and bring our friend along for part of the trip. But when we found the van had no brakes or trailing arm bushings, it quickly put a stop to our plans. We had tools, but not the kind of tools we needed to take on this kind of repair. Fortunately, we found the good people at G&D Automotive were more than willing to help us out. We told them about our mission for our friend, and they showed their true gear head solidarity and helped us get safely on the road, even extending us a generous discount to help out with our cause.All we can say is that the guys did a great job! The van drives, and stops, amazingly. The family at G&D are very caring and genuine people with love in their hearts. We recommend you bring them your vehicle for honest, quality repairs.

Doesnt provide receipts for work done.Spent over 2.000dollars andyour husband on 3 occasions told me you are not equipped to give receipts.When an item is delivered to you a receipt is provided by the driver.I have a right to know the cost of both the part. AND labor. Totally unethical.Learn how to talk to and act like a businessI BROUGHT 3 CARS IN FOR SERVICE.Your poor business practices are your lost not mine. Scott and Rob are the owners of this repair shop located off Arizona farms road near the u-haul. Took me a long time but I finally found mechanics in Arizona that are honest and do great work... I will never go to a Toyota dealership again for any kind of repair work or even an oil change. He is an example of getting ripped off....I took my Toyota 2016 Sienna van to Big Two Toyota in Chandler where they changed my front brakes and rear brakes they changed the front rotor and they resurface the rear rotor they charged me $725..................................... no I didnt just fall off the turnip truck.. I know they ripped me off but the thing was I didnt have a mechanic that I trusted to do the work so I figured Toyota would do at least a good job and I knew they would overcharged me. The next day I bought tires at Walmart and I brought my car over to Rob and Scotts shop on recommendation from someone who worked at Walmart.... I told them I needed a wheel alignment they took my car and did the job in 20 minutes and charged me half of the amount that the dealership would have charged me..... they also have a synthetic oil change special of $9.99 thats right $9.99 Walmart is usually the cheapest at $44.50... they get a great price on the oil and they pass it on to the public and hopefully after speaking to Rob and Scott you will bring your car to G & D automotive in the future to get repaired. I cant stress how important it is to have an honest mechanic and a mechanic that knows what hes doing and these guys fit the bill I promise nobody will be disappointed

Have been taking all of my vehicles to the guys at G and D for the last 3 years. Have always been treated awesome and have always done great work at great prices. Ive been taking my car here for regular oil changes for a couple years now. Theyve always been super helpful, very nice and honest. I recently took my car in for my normal oil change and they found a serious part that needed to be replaced as it was completely broken. They showed it to me and explained it thoroughly. Not only were they thorough and honest but also worked with me on financing and payment options

We have used G&D for all our oil changes on 3 vehicles for years. They used to provide good service. Their oil tech has left, and it’s a “general mechanic” (their words). They don’t take walk-ins anymore, so we made an appt. Everyone stood around and talked etc for 10 minutes before even touching our vehicle. During my oil change, one of the techs stood around with another man while that man drank two beers, talking cars. The tech was not drinking but the other man was clearly drinking and driving as he pulled up and left while we were there. As we went to pay, the price was $22. We always paid around $15 for our bigger vehicle although they’re the “home of the $9.99 oil change.” When my husband asked why, the lady started to break down the price and before we said anything else, (her husband - I believe because she called him “honey”) yelled across the shop “YOU DON’T HAVE TO COME BACK.” We were with our 16 year old daughter for perspective, and we didn’t ask in a -yell- level tone. The lady said, “alright honey...” and we left. We didn’t even get to make a stink about the price before we were invited to not come back, which we won’t. 👋🏼

This is one of the coolest mechanic shops Ive ever been to. The job they did on my van with a leaking radiator was perfect. They didnt overcharge me for the parts and labor but that didnt mean that their service wasnt exceptional. I will definitely be bringing my cars to G & D for future work. Even if you just need an oil change go to see G & D itll be worth your time.

Good honest and reputable mechanics for our area. Weve used plenty of places and got ripped off or our cars have been damaged from places. Not at G & D, they fix whatever it is thats wrong and nothing more. Their prices are always great. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

If I could give it negative stars I would. Took my car to him with emission codes. In all fairness he told me that my engine was on its last leg. But he said that he was able to clear the codes flush the engine and add some additives to it and it was good to go this was on a Friday and I could pick it up on Monday. I pay him $187 dollars and dont even make it home before the lights come back on. I call him to tell him about the issue and he says sorry we tried theres nothing I can do. I just paid $187 dollars for an oil change and him to unplug my battery to reset the codes. The least he could have done is told me he couldnt do the repair and not waste my time and money.

Wish I could give them 10 stars! These guys are absolutely wonderful!! Trustworthy, honest, reliable and great mechanics. Their customer service by far beats any other place. You dont find many businesses let alone people that give that lasting impression. Definitely go see them, you wont be disappointed!

Went in for a free a/c repair quote (because I knew it was already boned) and received a quote higher than, but reasonably in range of what I got at another shop. They readily offered to price match and have it done today. They also investigated some brake problems that happened after taking my car to Brakes Plus and they fixed it for free. Cant beat price match with additional service.

I have loved depending on G&D for my automotive needs, but I can no longer support their business. On three separate occasions I made appointments to come in and was not seen. Two of the times I showed up with an appointment I was informed they were closed. The third time I showed up with an appointment their garage was completely closed and locked. I told the person on the phone my car issues and he informed me it could be done quickly. Once i showed up and they were closed I was then informed it could never have happened and made to feel like an idiot. These guys are fantastic mechanics and have great prices, but the customer service has made me never want to go here again.

Been there several times with both my vehicles. Always felt comfortable no high pressure. Fair and honest in all my dealings.

It really makes me sad to have to write this because this use to be my go to place but since the kids started working their service has really sucked! I took my SUV in for an oil change and later on that day I noticed that I had an oil leak that wasnt there before so I put my SUV on ramps so I could investigate further and immediately realized they didnt tighten my oil plug it wasnt even on there finger tight!!! So I tightened it down and have been monitoring it and the leak went away I use my SUV for work and cant afford unnecessary repairs so Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on I advise others if you have work done double check and make sure its done right!!!!

I great place to get your car worked on, the mechanics are friendly and you cant beat the 9.99 oil change unless you do it yourself. only reason its not 5 star is because of the distance to get there(San tan valley) and the secluded location.

Scott was very honest and straightforward about what my vehicle needed. He didnt try to beat around the bush or try to get me to ok unnecessary or unneeded fixes for my car. I will definitely be using him again for any of my mechanical needs!

Took my car in for an alignment and they took me in right away with out an appointment. I didn’t have to wait 1hr+ after making an appointment like most other places. I also didn’t have to wait another 2hrs for my alignment to get done. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Car stays on the road and steering wheel is straight again. Also the alignment was only $56 out the door and not $80+

Took my wife’s car in to GND.had oil in the radiator they said they fix the problem, they said the problem was the oil cooler, approximately six months later, there was still oil in the radiator. The first fix was $1600.six months later they wanted to charge my wife $1400, we brought the car back and wanted to charge us $1400 . When I tried to tell them the car has the same issue as before he (Robert) angry tells me come get my car. When we went to get the car it was parked in a field and had a cracked heater hose which was leaking coolant, by the time we got home there was nothing but sludge. So now we are on our own. Most disappointed by them not standing behind their work . There was still oil mixed with the radiator fluid will not be going back they don’t stand behind their work I googled and have proof the job should’ve only been $800 total labor included but they charge me $1600 . & the second time $1400 more. Can’t afford it. Looking for class action or at least small claims. This is not alright. STAND BEHIND YOUR WORK GandD!

Stay away from this place!!! Brought our car to them for a simple oil and filter. They damaged her oil pan, then tried to charge us to fix it. We had to tow the car. Now we have to find a reputable mechanic to fix the damage they caused. I wouldnt bring a tonka truck to this place.

I took my car in as they were closing on Friday. I was leaking coolant. They took their time to look at my car and quickly diagnosed the problem right then. They had me back on the road Saturday. This is the only place I take my car to now.

First--Two places wanted to charge me $20.00 and $30.00 respectively to place my GMC on the rack to look at my suspected problem. Scott said lets put it up and take a look at it I said how much ? expecting a charge of ? but to my liking he said no charge. Yes my suspicion was correct and the quoted price to replace my suspension air bag was satisfactory. I believe I have found an honest service business for my future needs.Second- The shop area looked clean and organized. To me that is a good sign. After my work is completed I will write a review on the total experience.

Sorry I deleted my 5 star review because since those kids started working there its been crappy!Got an alignment there and now realized why the kid said if the tires start to wear bring it back well fix it.The toe was wrong and my tires are worn on the inside. Should have stayed with Big O Tires but I wanted to support our locals and save money but I get what I pay for.There was never an issue with alignments at Big O Tires. Bummers!

This place ruined my oil pan. Took my car in for a oil change and brought it home noticed it was leaking A LOT (as pictured) took it back and they said I needed to get a new oil pan. My car was not leaking prior to them changing my oil. Reading through other reviews someone else has had this exact problem. And had the same out come. I will never take my vehicle back to this place!

Just Brakes wanted over $1500 for a bunch of brake parts I didnt need. G&D got me brand new rotors and brakes and confirmed thats all I needed. They didnt try and convince my brakes would fail if i didnt replace everything either. Thank you guys again!

These guys are a class act. There was a rattling under our car which is never good. We took it up to them and they had an answer for us within the hour. They let us know the job was just shy of $400.00 and that was fine. Someone mixed up the parts they needed which delayed them getting it done. Instead if closing up shop at 6pm like they normally do they stayed till it was 7pm to get the job done AND they knocked $100.00 off of the price for the wait. I will be going back for any of my auto needs.

I just moved in from out of state I was looking to get some work done on my vehicle so I called around to a few shops and was waiting on price quotes while I waited the last call I made was to g&d where I was helped out by Scott in the best way possible he talk to me like I was a friend and quoted me with the best numbers by far. I will definitely be using this shop and recommend everyone call him.

Over the last few years they have put the wrong oil filter on my car, causing an oil leak, taken more money than they agreed to for an a/c discharge line repair and neglected to replace a gasket that failed for a brake repair on another family members vehicle also causing a leak.Its not lies. What a completely unprofessional response. I guess thats to be expected.

In late October, 2017 I had G&D Automotive do some work to my car (2009 Mazda 6). The work that was supposed to be done was the following- HARD START: Fuel pump-$350, Replace fuel pump-$120 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, Evap purge Solenoid-$175, Replace purge Solenoid- No charge with fuel pump replacement Immediately after picking my car up from them once I was told the work was completed, I told them my check engine light came back on, which should not have happened since they were supposedly fixing the problem that was originally causing my check engine light to come on in the first place. I also advised them that my gas gage was no longer working, which prior to them working on my car, the gage was working properly. This communication was done by email as I called several times with no return call. My emails were ignored for over a week before I finally got a response saying to bring the car in for them to look at. I made an appointment and when I showed up at the scheduled time to leave the car, nobody was there, shop was not open and nobody was answering emails or phone calls. After trying for weeks to get ahold of someone I was finally able to schedule a new appointment for them to look at the issues. I left my car there and also requested to have an oil change done. I called the afternoon of to find out the status and was told they didnt have time to look at the car and advised me to leave it another day. This same thing happened the following day as well. This same thing happened the third day as well, I agreed to leave it for one more day and that was it. On the forth day I picked my car up only to find that they did not do anything to the car nor did they look at the issues they caused when they supposedly did the work I paid them for. I went back and forth with them and finally had to go to another company. The new shop advised me that my fuel pump was NOT new and that G&D did not complete the work I paid them to complete.I had to pay the new shop $709 to have all the work done that I previously paid G&D to do in October. When I had the work done they told me I had a 2 year warranty. I gave them several chances to fix what they did by charging me and not completing the work. After the new shop advised me that G&D had not done the work they were supposed to I gave G&D the opportunity to do the work before I paid a new place to complete it. I now have paid G&D $645 for work they did NOT complete in addition to having to pay another place $709 to complete the work. I would like a full refund from G&D in the amount of $645. They did not complete the work, they didnt attempt to resolve the issue by completing it once I found this out and now the only resolution I am willing to accept is the full amount to be refunded. I do not want to go to small claims court but I will if I have to as the new shop is willing to testify that this work was not previously completed until they completed it.Complaint with the BBB is already done. Next steps are Channel 3 news and small claims court. Please take me seriously as I am a single mom and will not let this go.
