Western Truck and Tire saved the day! On our way to Moab, UT we had a blowout on two of our trailer tires being pulled by our RV. It was a Sunday and we were stuck on the side of the road on Hwy 89. Luckily they had trailer tires in stock. Now the big question- would they come to us? With very few employees working and it was a Sunday- they helped us out in a big way and came to our rescue! We didn’t want to take a chance and only replace two so we purchased 4, plus a spare. They broke them down, installed them, and got us back on the road in a timely manner. We can’t thank them enough for coming to us and risking their lives on this busy stretch of road and in the rain. They were very professional and the owner called to make sure we were satisfied with the service. Which we were! Basically the only tire repair shop open on Sundays in Flagstaff besides Sams Club. They take full advantage of this fact by overcharging for tires since they know that there isnt another option for almost 50 miles!! For a SINGLE new tire for my vehicle they quoted me a little over $200!!! I politely declined this absurd quote and asked how much a decent used tire would cost me? They still charged me a bit over $60 without getting it balanced! The employee who was replacing my tire looked like hed been on the Jenny Crank diet for way too long. Looked completely lost and befuddled on how to complete the process. He definitely did not make me feel confident in the repair at all. The repair process was however extremely quick besides all that. Would only recommend this shop as an absolute last resort!UPDATE:The shop claims to be open 7 days a week 24 hours a day but Ive seen them closed randomly throughout the week so be careful

Highly recommend this shop! They were able to get me in for Oil change & Tire Rotation on Labor Day when no other shop was open. Fair price, friendly & knowledgeable employees, and they completed the service in little over an hour.

I aint gonna lie the service and the employees were awesome they replaced are tire really fast and they even checked the air in all our tires. We got a flat on road trip on we got stuck in Flagstaff of course on a Sunday it was the only place open so we had no other choice but to buy a tire but its was $210 with everything but the Brand was Chinese I was expecting a Michelin, Continental, or Firestone tire for that price but we had no other choice I feel like the owner knows people have no other choice since they stay open late so they raise the price. Could have gotten a much better tire for half the price.

This place really stands by their no return or refund policy, unfortunately. I purchased a used spare wheel & tire from them (they had me pay before they’d even found the tire for me) and it lost all air within a day. When I went back to see if they could make it right, like find a different used tire, they first tried to say they didn’t sell me the tire even though I had the receipt. They seemed surprised they would have even sold it but still wouldn’t do anything. Pretty sketchy place.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and nice but I was not happy that the only tire they had to fit my very common car was a bottom ranking in ALL categories tire for $200 plus installation. I didnt pay that for the good tires on my car. Did not buy the tire. Would go for tire repair but not tires.

These folks were great! We were in a crisis, in Flagstaff on a Sunday and needing to get to Phoenix and we realized not only were two tires on my car were bald, they were dangerously worn. Western was open, had the tires we needed in stock, able to quickly replace the tires we needed, and gave us a great deal! They were friendly and professional and I would recommend them to anyone. Had a bearing go out as we entered Flagstaff on Sunday afternoon. We went to another garage, and were quoted $800 tomorrow.Drove over here. 15 minutes later one of the mechanics was jumping in his car to go get the part and just over 1.5 later we were driving away fixed and smiling 😃. Total charge just under $500 (and $20 tip for the mechanic).Saved our trip plan in a fair and timely manner. They definitely deserve your business!!

I blew out a tire just outside of Flagstaff on a Sunday and needed to get back to Phoenix that day. In addition to being the only shop open, I got a new tire within an hour and at a reasonable price. I don’t know what I would have done without these guys.You could tell the shop was extremely busy but I felt well taken care of despite that. All the employees were working hard, particularly Sheema who did a fantastic job at making sure everything was running smoothly.

We had a tire that was damaged on our trip on Sunday, and it needed major repair. We found this to be the only tire shop open in Flagstaff on Sunday. They were able to get us in quick, no waiting, and put on a very good Used tire for us at a very reasonable price too. We continued our trip home without any problems.This was our first time with this business, and I honestly have to say they wer all efficient, helpful, friendly and explained their work in detail to us. Had a razor blade in our tire on the way from Sedona to Flagstaff on a Saturday evening. Only place open after 5 pm Saturday, and with a pending snowstorm on 40 and an 1100 miles drive the next day back to Texas we needed prompt assistance. They took great care of us!

I found a nail in my tire while getting gas in Flagstaff. As it was a Sunday, there was a limited selection of open tire shops, and most only serving semi trucks. The staff here at Western were all so professional and polite. Pricing was a steal for a 10 min fix. Hope to not have any more nails, but will be stopping here again if so!!

We came to Western Repair to grab a spare tire for our car. They were the only ones open on Sunday (when we were passing through town on a road trip) and they provided very good service. They were extremely kind and knowledgeable.

I was returning home to San Diego from The Grand Canyon when my clutch malfunctioned. I had my car towed to this shop late at night and was greeted by Dean, who is such a great guy and treats you with respect. Initially my car only needed the master n slave cylinder for the clutch, but upon inspection, the clutch was ruined also. They showed me all of the parts so that I knew i was not being cheated. I thought Dean was going to charge me for the labor on the clutch also, but was very kind and did not charge me. My car spent a total of 3 nights at the shop and Dean only charged me for the labor on one day (slave and master cylinder). He was also kind enough to order all the parts for me at the cheapest prices he could find (I was in the office when he made the numerous calls). Dean could have easily charged me over $2k, but did not. He only charged me $1250 for everything. Although Dean runs a small business, he runs it well and very professionally. Thank you Dean! I appreciate all your help. May God give you many more blessings in your life!

Tried to rip me off on a tire. They wanted $249.00 for a tire that I can get for $110.00. I would not recognize this place to anyone, he will try to take advantage of you. DO NOT GO THERE!

Got a flat at 5:15 pm on a Friday afternoon, and have a 5 hour drive back home on Saturday. Where to go at that time of day? The guy at Pep Boys recommended these good folks, and it was the best recommendation of the trip. Personable folks, helped make the situation a little lighter, found a tough to find hole, fixed it up, washed my windows, checked the other tires, and had everything ready to go in 18 minutes! These guys are a true Flagstaff treasure!

It was Saturday Sept. 21/19 approx. 5.30 pm My left rear tire blew out on East bound I 40 Arizona. approx 150 mi. west of Flagstaff. By the time I put on the spare donut tire, drove unsuccessfully from service station to service station looking for a new tire, I gave up and limped into Flagstaff, found a hotel, it was approx 10.30 pm. Searched the internet for a 24/7 tire shop and to my amazement I found Western Tire & Auto Repair. By now it was after 11pm so I called and to my surprise, someone answered the phone. I gave him the details (DEAN) and he told me to come in Sunday morning. He is one the kindest, most gentlest and professional person that I have in a very long time.Sunday morning I was there bright and early and within 1/2 hour Dean and his crew had a new tire mounted on the rim and put on the car and they checked the other tires including the spare. UNBELIEVABLE . I wish I could give them 10 stars because they deserve it. Again THANK YOU to my new best friends at Western Tire and Auto Repair

Owner of shop is horrible! NO customer service whatsoever. He yelled at my husband and myself. He was extremely mean! He tried to rip us off because we are old and he lied! We had no choice to call him as no one else is open on Sunday. If you have a choice avoid this place like the plague. The service guys were great.

Family owned business-that treats you like family. We are from out of state and we had an issues with our van. They took our van in early found the problem was our rear tires. Very happy that they found the issue, we had a long travel time with bad weather ahead. We would have had definitely broke down without their assistance. They fixed the issue and here is the kicker after travel they called while on the road to see how we were doing on our trip. When I return to Flagsaff my automotive services will be there and they touched our hearts. Thank you Dean!!

Our water pump went out causing a belt to shred on our weekend trip up to Flagstaff from Phoenix. We took the truck in on Sunday morning and they had the truck done by noon. All of the staff were friendly and recommended a nearby park and restaurant for breakfast. Im not sure why there are negative reviews; from what I can tell people thought they were charged an unfair price. I can tell you, for the awesome, fast service we received and our truck being a diesel, we would have been charged more back home in the Phoenix area and lost at least one day of work and school waiting for another shop to open on Monday. We are very thankful for this shop and would definitely recommend.

Owner is very rude and is a total rip off. My trailer tire was low, and it was a Sunday. So I took there, and he quoted me $38 for a patch job. They looked at the tire and said nothing was wrong with it and that it just needed air. It took the workers about 5 minutes and the owner tried charging me the $38, I was like all you did was put air in the tire. Owner said he doesnt charge like that and then started yelling at the workers to take the air out of the tire. DO NOT GO HERE TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!

I walked in with 4 new tires for installation. The owner immediately quoted me $125. Before even looking at the tires or the car. After I said I was just pricing he dropped to $85. He went on to try and convince me that I needed special weights because my car was fancy. I decided to keep pricing elsewhere. I went down to Discount Tire who did the job for $80 flat. Dont try to rip me off.

Only place open today when the water pump went out on our truck. Had a great experience with this company and the owner!! Not sure why there are bad reviews. I am completely pleased with my tires, the service, AND how I was treated by Dean and all at Western Auto. They are open Sundays which was perfect as my two rear tires needed to be replaced ASAP ON a Sunday ON the way from Sedona to Sun Valley Idaho. I pulled in... they offered 3 different sets of tires... and within 30 minutes I was on the road to Idaho on time and extremely happy. Yes these guys are different... they all are hard working honest people that care... yes care. I am a therapist and know people. I am very thankful to have met and worked with these guys.

If you want to get bent over when your most vulnerable this is the place to stop at!They may be open till 9 PM but they will charge you after hours fees and every other fee they can come up with.Two 15” trailer tires for $450 is absolutely ridiculous. To talk him down in price took great effort. by the time I got out of there I still paid just under $400 for two tires that should’ve cost $200 to $250. I know I use to be a tire guy back home. Everybody expects to pay just a little more when your in “tourist mode“ but holy s.... !!!Come on America I am loosing faith!!

This was the only tire shop open on Sunday. $40 for a flat repair after being quoted $25. The owner is a crook and refused to admit he quoted me $25. He said, I never told you that. He treats his employees like theyre his servants. Next time Ill buy a Sams Club membership and pay them to fix a tire on a Sunday afternoon. If you can avoid this place- do!

We were on our way to the Grand Canyon on a Saturday when our pickup broke down. Insurance had us towed to their shop late in the day and they worked late diagnosing the problem then drove us to a motel for the night. They had us repaired and back on the road to Phoenix before noon on Sunday! Great people to work with, great customer service and open when other shops arent. Highly recommend them! (Didnt make the canyon that weekend but did get in a local hike while we waited). Will definitely use these guys again when in Flagstaff!!!

On our way back to Phoenix, one of the tires had this huge hole. We quickly stop to the nearest tire shop. And Western truck and auto repair was there to help. Dean was extremely helpful, he was very kind to give us a fair price. Great service! Western truck auto repair cares about the safety of their clientes. I totally recommend this place!!!

They saved me on Labor Day weekend. Had a rivet in my tire, and no one else was open. I would have been stuck until Tuesday without them. I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Very quick and easy. Definitely recommend.

Dont go here. I only did because it was Easter and everything else was closed. Tried to sell me an expensive tire before even seeing if mine could be repaired. Ridiculed me for asking them to be thorough. Owner yelling at employees. Awful environment. Owner eventually knocked off additional fees but I still think I was overcharged for the new tire. I just hope they balanced it right, but reading other reviews I have reason to doubt.

The owner is one of the best people I have met in a long time! He gave us an amazing deal, and helped us find a hotel when he found out we were just traveling through. Crooks and have noIdea what they were doing. Lied and said I needed a CV joint and a axel when only the wheel bearings had gone . Wanted to charge me $1200 for cv joint and a rl that I didnt need when I said no owner kept coming down in price asking me what I wanted to pay. I would give a half-star if that was an option.I needed a new tire for my camper while I was in Flagstaff over Labor Day weekend. Like many other reviewers, it was on Sunday and the only place in town open where I could get a tire. The owner shocked me with a price of $390.00 for a tire that I can get anywhere else for about $180.00. I researched this as he was looking for a rim for me as I needed a rim too since mine was now cracked from the blowout. He came out with a generic rim that would fit my trailer and wanted to charge me $70. I objected and we was nice enough to take $15 off a rim that was at best worth $25.In summary, this guy takes advantage of people in need by gouging them with ridiculous prices for parts and labor. Thats right, I was charged $18 to balance the tire, and another $12.50 for labor. $30 for mount an balance is ridiculous.Oh, and dont forget the $17 charge for Credit Card Convenience Fee.What a sham. $585 total for one tire.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!Get a room and spend the night, its cheaper.

If you can avoid going here, do! I called about the price of two semi tires when I talked to him on the phone he gave us a reasonable price when I got there he completely robbed us. Unfortunately it was a situation for me that I had to purchase them so I was not stranded in Flagstaff. Will never go back to this place and will tell everyone I know that is driving through Flagstaff not to go here.

These guys tried to charge me $150.00 to put a spare tire that was already mounted on the wheel on my trailer. And when I walked out the guy came outside and said he would do it for $85. Because it was a holiday I was left with no choice but to have them do it. As they were putting my tire back on my trailer they damage the axle, and when I asked him who was going to fix that his reply to me was its not my problem I went down the street to buy the parts about 50 miles down the highway to buy the parts to fix my trailer and at that shop I was informed it would cost $17 for the exact same service. I was also told that if they damage the axle it would be fixed at no charge. I would strongly recommend any other tire shop then this one.

I really dont like how the rude staff is ripping off the customers. I went with a flat tire on Sunday and I was told that I have to pay around $34 to fix it.. I accepted that since I had no choice because its the only place I found that opens on Sundays. However, they told me that my tire cant be repaired and I have been told that I got to get a new tire. After telling them that I have no money to buy a tire,, they insisted to buy a used tire from them, which I refused. They gave me the tire and the rim separated and they said there was no point of putting the tire on the rim since it cant be repaired at all. The next day on Monday I went to another tire shop (discount tire store) where they were able to fix my flat tire for free!!! Its really bad how they wanted me to get a new tire where the flat tire was in a good shape, also its so ridiculous that they charge more than $30 to fix a flat tire on Sunday (the charge less on other days). Never gonna go there again..

This goddamn owner try charging my brother 400.00!!! For 1 f@#$n tire! Like they said if your in a rush this b@%@$ will play mind games acting like his tires are made of gold. Drove from Eastern North Carolina on the way to Las Vegas. Had a nail in my tire with a really bad leak . The owner had my tire repaired and tested it in less than 15 mins. I’d go there again! A little pricey but you pay for the quick turnaround in situations like this.

Only place open on Labor Day. All the guys were helpful and only charged me for a half hour of labor to change out my tire.

It is the worst. He told me to pay $ 666 to replace a pair of tires and say that Hertz is able to pay, but the results are not payable. I told them to pay in cash and it represents the very viciousness of the president. Because of this company, my wife s trip to the US was very ruined. Never visit

This place is a hwy robbery tire place. Stay clear, I was charged double the price for 2 trailer tires. One of which they bent the valve stem( Wal mart replaced the stem) and the tire went flat 1 1/2 hrs after leaving there. That same tire (New) blew after 600 miles. They charged me for balance then didnt do it, the man got upset at me for asking them to balance them. He needs to be reportedTo auto repair authorities.

I broke down going to California from Texas late in the afternoon 30 minutes outside of Flagstaff. It was a Saturday and I had to be at school to start orientation on Monday. I thought all hope was lost, but these great people stayed open until 9:00pm and made sure I was able to leave that night. They replaced my battery and gave me an oil fill up to boot.

So my experience starts off with a bent wheel I had with a good tire on it.... I also had a good wheel with a bad tire on it. Picture it, Sunday the 23rd...NO ONE OPEN! So I go in and TRY to explain what I wanted done! Take good tire off bad wheel and put on good tire from bad wheel.He looked at me like I was OUT OF MY MIND! I told his co- worker, and he explained it to him. He got up and muttered in a loud voice to three other tire busters something! I asked WAIT...HOW MUCH?! $35... ok no problem, meanwhile about 7 other customers came in and the place turned into a zoo from hell. Everyone wondering when they were next. Anyway, I finally got the tire put on the good wheel and all was ok until I saw that they threw my bad wheel and tire a side and the co-worker came up and said $55.00. I told him I didnt agree to this, plus I wanted my bad wheel and tire back too. The manager started raising his voice and I couldnt understand him. The co-worker said, sorry, he is the boss so it is $55.00. I paid, then I collected my bad tire and wheel. Two other customers were raising their voice at the manager and I got in my vehicle shaking my head! DONT... Whatever you do, stop at this mad house unless you enjoy drama and extreme comedy (Slapstick). These other 5 STAR individuals on this review page have to be his workers that get paid by the manager (owner), so they will type anything! Big O or Discount will be open the next day at a better price. FRICKN NUTS!!!!!

Open on Easter Sunday, they sold us a new tire, and got us on our way pretty quickly. Highly recommended.

I got there on a cold Friday night a few minutes before closing and the staff stayed past their work hours to repair my tire. Very friendly staff with a great attitude! Thanks!!

Absolutely garbage service. Avoid this place if you can.Was out of town on a holiday and had a faulty radiator cap seal, all the car needed was a new cap and some fluid and it came to a whopping $500. When asked how he could possibly charge so much for such a simple fix, all I got was a half assed response saying he was the only place open on a holiday weekend and that I had a long way to go home so it needed to be done properly.The owner tried to sell me parts I didnt need and tried to make me look stupid for refusing it, saying he would not guarantee the fix.The mechanic on the other hand was helpful and answered all my questions, its the owner that tugged me along and racked up the hours.

We yad a blowout on the interstate and was towed to this shop. The owner was very polite and within 20 minutes had a new tire on the car. we also had 2 lug posts break and he did not charge me to have them installed. all i had to do was spend $10 at autozone for all 5. very fast service, definitely would recommend to others.

The owner forced my dad to buy two used balled tires at $55 each. It last 3 days one went flat and the other tire recap came off. I call them up for a replacement Justin said no refund and sold as is.. the owner avoid me never to return my call.. this shady tire company make profit off of defective product all his tires should be trashed.. place needs to be shut down.. l contact The Consumer complaint Office of the Attorney General in Tucson..Im getting my money worth..👎

Truly thankful for dean and western truck and auto repair. They were very friendly and kind, helped us when all the other shops were closed. Quick about getting on back on the road. Thank you

The only show in town on New Years Eve day, a Sunday this year......What a relief, Kind, understanding and Fair.....They could have charged me double ... thats how desperate to get two defective/ worn out tires on a Turo rental vehicle replaced. God blesses those who treat the wayward traveler with respect and fairness.
