Best auto shop in Flagstaff! If youre looking to have some aftermarket work done, this is the place to take your vehicle. The folks at this shop have years of experience and are incredibly kind and informative. Theyll do their best to answer your questions and if they dont know the answer theyll find one for you. Theyre the kind of folks to go out of their way to help you.

I came to Arron with a blown motor and down on my luck. Ended up being one of the best decisions of my life! I would recommend to anyone I know. This is a one stop shop for everything from general repairs to race car builds. 316MW does it all.

This shop is fantastic. I bought a modified 2013 Subaru WRX this year. Their expertise and education with me has made a world of a difference in helping me feel comfortable having such a modified car in Flagstaff. This shop is awesome!! These guys are lifesavers!! I was on a cross country road trip with my wife. We were on our way home to Boston from the Grand Canyon when my clutch started to slip. The other shops in town were backed up, but 316 replaced the clutch in one day and had us back on the road! Additionally, they changed the oil, fixed a bad fog light, and installed brighter headlights. Price was right; work was outstanding. Arron is a great guy with tremendous knowledge of Subarus. There are some very cool projects going at the shop; rally cars, expedition trucks, and fast, modified street cars. It was very nice of Arron and Marcos to show me around.

I came here last year to replace the struts for my Subaru. The new struts failed after two weeks, likely because they were installed incorrectly by their technicians. When I returned to have 316 look at the struts, a technician test drove the car and did not believe me because they did could reproduce the problem, claiming that “it’s probably just her spare tire wobbling in the back”. I then had to test drive the Subaru with the owner Aaron in the passenger seat to reproduce the problem and prove the strut was broken because they literally did not believe me. 316 agreed to reinstall a new set of struts under warranty. However, the shop did not express any apology for their mistake, for the time I lost, and the additional wear and tear this caused to my vehicle. In addition, my wheels require a special anti theft key for one of the lug nuts on each wheel and they forgot to return the wheel key to me when I picked up my car. When I called to arrange a time to pick up the key, the secretary claimed that they didn’t have it and I must have lost it. Later, it turns out they found the key in the shop. I now go somewhere else to have work done on my car.

Fantastic service and expertise. Arron and his team have done wonders with my STI. The car is now far more reliable, and powerful. All future work, on any of my vehicles, will be done by 316. Thanks guys.

This is he only place in town I let anyone touch my truck. There are a lot of places in flagstaff and I have been screwed in the past. The customer service is great and I trust evryone in this establishment!

By far the best shop in town not only for Subarus, but pretty much everything else as well. I have never and an issue with the work performed on my vehicle. It was done fast and it was done right. Arron is a great guy and knows more about Subarus than anyone else that I know. If there is a problem, he can fix it. I definitely would suggest 316 Motor Works for all your performance needs and just general maintenance. You cant go wrong. I will keep coming back to 316 Motor Works.

This review applies to both Randys as well as 316 motorworks in Flagstaff.First off I have to say that there were a few misunderstanding between myself and the owner of both of these shops. I first came to them after a truck that I had purchased with a rebuilt engine by LKQ started leaking what I thought was oil out of what I thought was the rear main seal. The trouble with LKQ engine rebuild warranties is that they typically do not transfer between owners even if it falls within the 3 year warranty window, after pleading my case to the owner of 316 he agreed to have some of his guys take a look at it.One of the mechanics confirmed that it was the rear main seal and so 316 would indeed honor the warranty on their own dime since the LKQ warranty would not cover it. This alone was a huge move by 316 that they were fully within their rights to turn down. Instead they decided to put the customer first over 1,000 dollars of profit.We made an appointment, this time at Randys downtown for later that month when we both had time. This was yesterday. I dropped it off and about 6 hours later I got a call that the truck was done and I could come pick it up. When I picked up the truck I waited for the Arron the owner so that I could personally thank him for what he did for me. He then told me that they had discovered that it wasnt the rear main seal but actually the front transmission seal that was leaking. This of course wouldnt be under warranty at all because only the engine was rebuilt and the transmission leaking has nothing to do with that. EVEN THOUGH the labor and parts were not under warranty Arron STILL comped it 100% for me since his mechanic was the one who misdiagnosed it. Again, he would have been well within his rights to tell me to kick rocks when he saw that it wasnt the warrantied part that was faulty but instead he put customers before profits once more.Arron is a no nonsense kind of guy and he wont beat around the bush telling you what he thinks but if you can get past the somewhat gruff exterior then youll find a guy who knows what hes talking about when it comes to cars and tries his best to make sure his customers are taken care of even if its at the expense of a quick profit.

Outstanding service and price . Very knowledgeable . They are the salt of the earth . I have many vehicles and i am taking them all to 316 Motorworks . Also, i have many friends in this state which i am recommending them to 316 . One more thing, 316 Motor Works are very thorough and reliable . They dont give you the run around . They stand behind their work .

The Crew at 316 Motor Works is awesome,I brought my 2011 wrx there with a P/S leak, they diagnosed it without a fee, and replaced the steering rack the same day.Great price, good service, I would recommend to anyone who needed there car worked on.
