My experience with A+ Moving and Storage exceeded my expectations with excellent customer service and a professional crew of packers sent to my home. My furniture was handled with such care and packed with quality and professionalism. The crew was prompt, tidy and polite. My invoice was accurate, detailed and affordable. The crew packed a 3500 square foot (two story home) full of furniture, and the cost was more affordable then we imagined. I want to thank Erica Peterson who initially came to our home to give us an estimate that was spot on and a huge shout out to the wonderful crew who packed, wrapped and hauled out nearly 17,000 lbs of furniture in NC heat and humidity without complaint or damage. If you value your property and want excellent movers I would put my trust in A+ Moving and Storage.

A+ is a great, locally-owned company. I stored my household goods as well as my vehicle with them while I was deployed. They were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. They worked with me over the phone and got me everything I needed the same day I asked for it. I had my car the first day that I returned from deployment and my household goods were delivered shortly thereafter. The only issue I had is that somehow my windshield got cracked over the duration of my vehicles storage. I brought it to the companys attention, and without hesitation, they paid to have the windshield replaced. Also, when I first brought my vehicle to be stored I was told that it would be driven at least once a month to keep it in good running order and prevent tire problems from sitting for too long. When I returned after 6 months, not one single mile had been added to the odometer, and my car was blocked in the back of the warehouse behind many other cars, leading me to believe it had never been driven like promised. Overall though, I would recommend A+.

Everything went so well thanks to your amazing team! Please note that these men all had smiling faces from the minute they arrived to the moment they left. They had fun while they were working which eased my mind since they were moving our belongings from the road down a dirt path 1/10 mile long. They never once got frustrated, complained, or ran out of energy. They were proactive, incredibly efficient, professional, very respectful, and lightning fast! They took great care with all the antiques and treated them as their own. My only regret was that we did not have a home cooked meal for this team when they were finished because I know they were starving.The whole process amazed me! At one point, I saw one young man lifting a club chair by himself and then jumping off the truck and running back to the house for more. One gentleman brought the refrigerator on a dolly by himself all the way down the path. I have never seen a stronger, more hard-working team of men in my life. I think they took 2 short breaks all day long - it was unbelievable. This team went far above and beyond what was expected.I am so thankful that I contacted you for this move. This was the first time I have ever used a professional moving company, and I will never use anyone else except A+. I will be recommending you all unequivocally to anyone I hear that is moving, and of course if I need anything moved in the future, I will be sure to contact you immediately. We were searching all over town for legit movers that would be able to move us from Raeford to Clinton. I had called several places and each company with out even talking to me said no, have a nice day and I even think one of them hung up on me. But that ended up working out in our favor because Im so GLAD we found A+ Moving and Storage. From the very first call I made to the last item that was moved in to the house it was nothing but smooth sailing. A+ goes above and beyond with outstanding customer service, the moving of your valuables and assisting you in the process. Erika was a gem. She came out to my house FREE of charge and quoted us an estimate. Estimates can be scary because you never know if the price can change. But the estimate she gave us was exactly what we paid and she explained every fee to us. Im so glad that A+ got our business and not some shady moving company that wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount and hang up on their customers. The movers were absolutely amazing and were so gentle with our belongings. They were so nice to us and we really appreciated their hard work. Also, while we were moving, another rep came out from A+ and checked in on everything. He wanted to make sure things were going smooth and made sure of the highest level of customer satisfaction. I hope this review finds them to accumulate more business and also this is coming from someone who has moved quite a bit with my husband being in the military. Incredibly disappointed in the job they did while packing our things. They did not wrap or protect any of our furniture before putting it into the moving truck. Everything was simply piled up in there where they then took it to the warehouse to pack which by then our furniture had been damaged, and our mattresses had been torn. They added damage to items that were not previously damaged to include adding things in after the fact that were not on the original paperwork.

They helped me move locally to a new house. They arrived on time, were extremely professional and courteous, they were quick and thorough and very careful with my things. I already had everything in boxes except for a few things and they were very careful with those items as well. They dropped everything off in the exact rooms I had asked them to and -NOTHING- was damaged. They did an excellent job, did not try to stall at all even though I was paying them hourly. They made sure everything was 100% to my liking before they left. I was very satisfied with their service, 10/10 would hire them again, 10/10 would recommend.-ZK

We moved from Southern Pines, NC to suburban DC area. The pack out and delivery went smoothly and efficiently. All employees were conscientious and polite. This was by far the best of our 10 moves.

Absolutely terrible! They packed our stuff for an overseas government move. They were rude and unfriendly when packing, but that is the least of it.Our stuff arrived in Germany and 75% of our large furniture items were destroyed: an electric piano, 4 bookshelves, TV stand, and an entire master bedroom set. The reason for the destruction was because of the terrible job they did packing. Our bedroom set was a nice set, not a cheap fall apart easily set. It was real wood: heavy and durable. They wrapped the dresser in ONE sheet of light paper wrapping, and then PUT THE PIANO ON TOP! The weight of the piano snapped the dresser in two. This is the story with everything that was destroyed, one piece of thin paper and then shoved it in somewhere.My wifes nice dresses, over $200 a piece, were shoved in with the pots and pans as if they were packing material. They did not use wardrobe boxes to pack our hanging clothing, instead they shoved them into boxes.They did not bring enough shipping crates to pack our things. So they packed the remaining furniture (our dining room table, office desk, and our couches) in the truck and said they would pack it tomorrow morning at the warehouse. This to me is unacceptable and unprofessional.I would NEVER recommend this company. If you have a choice, use someone else, these people will damage your personal belongings and not care.

We had a fantastic moving experience! My husband recently retired and we moved from post housing to an apartment. The crew that showed up were simply amazing! True professionals in every aspect. They took a tour of the house to see what they would need, asked questions about how we wanted things packed and even where we wanted to start. Three hours later we were on our way to unload. Unload was fast and efficient, again the crew looked around before starting and were in and out in under two hours. Nothing was damaged or broken! I would hire them again to move my household goods.

I recently used A+ movers from Fayetteville, NC TO mountain City, TN. It was a small move but very important to me. I had the same two gentlemen pack, deliver and unload; Mark and Brad. They were exceptional. I suffered no breakages and they were very meticulous, both in packing and in unloading. I am not missing one single thing, especially a TINY ornamental golf club; thank you Brad! All remotes were together, everything was labeled clearly and they worked Soo hard to please me. I would recommend them to everyone. Job well done! Thanks so much to both of you!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service and major con men. They raped us. Hired them to move our two bedroom apartment which only had one bedroom worth of furniture and they charged us almost 2000. also they have many hidden fees that they do no tell you about until later. My husband deployed shortly after we hired them and they waited until he left to discuss all of the charges. If you leave your belongings in their storage unit expect to pay 50$ every time that you need to access them, then another 250$ to get everything out. We were never told of the fees until we my husband came back from deployment. We did not have a new place at the time and he had to get his things out bit by bit; they charged him each and every time. After they moved our things into our new apartment I told them that a table had been damaged and we were missing items. They said they would have someone contact us about having them found or repaired. I had to call them more than 10 times before someone finally came out to do a claim. They said that they would find our missing items and a repair man would come and take care of our table. it has been almost a month and not a thing. I called again last week and still have not received a return call. I am very upset in the way they have taken advantage of us and pushed our concerns under the rug. Id rather break my back moving our items than hire them again. Service members beware, they are more than willing to take advantage of you.

Worst moving company ever. Almost every big piece of furniture we own was damaged. 65 TV cracked, $2000 couch torn, dining table and chairs, all pieces of our bed set damaged, ping pong table damaged, office desk barely stands on its own anymore (it is a thick desk too- not easily damaged), along with damages to most of the furniture pieces my husband made by hand. The two of us moved all of this stuff on our own a couple years early and managed to not damaged anything. I am not sure how a crew of 5 damaged 90% of everything we own. They must have been completely negligent to case so much damage to our stuff. I understand things get damaged while moving, but this was way beyond small dents and scratches. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I park my truck there and these ppl change the locks without warning so now at 5am I can’t get to my truck to leave and make money. But I bet they want they 50 bucks for the month with no problem

I would give a negative 1,000,000 stars if I could. First of all these charlatans rolled my washer down the steps, damaging it. Then they dropped my Harley while moving it costing over $4,000 in damages as estimated from the HD shop. They also lost items, I bet they stole them. To top it all off these crooks offered a check of $643 for all the damages. $643!!!! Are you serious??? I implore anyone to never ever ever use this company to move. They should be put out of business for their shady unethical practices. I will not rest until they are out of business so they cant do this to anyone else. Karma will catch these buffoons, I hope I am there to witness when it does.

Had A+ move me from Charlotte to Fayetteville and I have never been more pleased with a move. The crew was very professional and handled all of my belongings with care. I would recommend A+ to anyone needing to move.

Although the crew was less than competent and couldnt properly put together our furniture or move it without damaging just about all of it, my biggest beef is with the business owner. I am beyond disgusted with all the excuses. The only reason i am not taking them to court is that I am 9 months pregnant and do not have energy or mobility to get there!DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH GETTING INSURANCE. The owneer claims that some items damaged during the move (custom stained glass art) are not being covered by insurance because they were not packed by his crew. However, the inventory clearly states CP - Carrier Packed. When this fact was pointed out, the owner claimed that they are not getting covered because they were prepacked in Styrofoam by customer and only THEN packed by his crew. In actuality the crew was offered the opportunity to remove the original packaging and pack it themselves, but declined. If it was not going to be covered by insurance, I do not understand the reason why the items were marked CARRIER PACKED in the inventory. The owner further claimed that unpacking service was denied at destination, thus not allowing the crew to see the damage. The unpacking service was declined because the volume of goods was grossly underestimated by the owner and the small crew ended up working into the evening just to unload and put furniture together. I allowed the crew to leave, because quite frankly they looked exhausted. I did however, asked if my decision would effect insurance if anything turns up broken and of course I was hastily assure that no, it would not. The damage would later be assessed by an inspector and the crew has nothing to do with it. Which leads me to believe that it is just another excuse by the owner to not honor the insurance contract. The furniture had multiple scratches and deep dents. In a case of damage, the party that sustained damages must be made whole. Which means bringing my furniture to its original condition. Mark Reeder, the repair specialist sent by the company went around with a WAX WOOD FILLER MARKER or something similar, rubbing it on scuffs and calling it fixed. While it worked fine for superficial damage and furniture not made of real wood, I hardly think that deep dents can be fixed to the point that they are not visible. Because on the pieces that he did do his repairs, it is most certainly visible (I can provide photos of that as well). My furniture needs to look like it did BEFORE the move for me to be whole. The deeper scratches on my real wood furniture need to be refinished. I provided an estimate from a reputable company, that would not try to hide the damage, but fix it as it is supposed to be fixed. Which requires buffing the areas out and laying new finish on it. The owner of A+ completely ignored it claiming that what they chose to pay (about 1/3 of estimate is plenty). I was not opposed to having A+ repair the furniture for me, as opposed to using a company of my choosing, as long as it was actually REPAIRED and not covered up with a $5 wax filler I can buy at Home Depot myself. it needs to look like there was never any damage in the areas that were banged up. That is what I paid insurance money for. And the last straw that absolutely killed me is the fact that I have a fairly pricey tool I use for my work, a small piece of which was broken off, rendering it useless. When the inspector came, he asked me to show him what it is supposed to look like when intact. I put it together so he can see. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine that he would snap a photo of THAT and try to claim that it was never broken in the first place (he watched me put the broken pieces together as he asked). I have a photo of it BROKEN to prove it, which A+ prefers to ignore (apparently I smashed it myself just to take the photo?). There are many other complaints about the performance of the crew itself. But the main concern is the owners insistence on trying to wiggle out of paying appropriate insurance damages.
