This is an incredible spot for bagel sandwiches. I got a classic bacon egg and cheese and was blown away. I went on a Saturday morning and even though the line was huge, the service was really quick. Great coffee too! Highly recommend checking this family business out.

Great family owned and run deli. I have always received the best service here. Great bagels and coffee is good.Try the everything bagel - they put the “everything stuff” on both sides! This way there isn’t a good side and a bad side - both sides are equally great!They have a system where you order on the right and then go pay on the left. Sometimes it’s not obvious there are two lines. Especially when there are people milling about waiting for their to go orders. But they are quick, you will get your food in no time.Note: Closed on Mondays.

This delightful little shop is a staple in the Fairfax City Community. Delicious bagels, great coffee, and wonderful selection of cold drinks. The staff is incredibly warm and kind. It is family owned, and they will remember your face (or eyes, if you visit during covid-times). I also love that there is a place around here I can get New York style, black and white cookies!

Love having local businesses like this in my community - friendly service (using my name, genuine thanks when ordering), cozy no-frills feeling (that some day Ill be able to sit and enjoy again) and yeah - great bagels! My favorite is egg and cheese on poppy seed, but they have tons of other options including selection of Boars Head sandwiches, salads (I especially like the grab-and-go case for for salad when Im in a rush), smoothies, etc. And their lattes cost half as much and taste twice as good than other nearby chain coffee...

I have absolutely no clue how anyone can give this place under 5 stars. The people that work here brighten my day every time I come in, the food is great and it’s a great start to my day. I usually get the bacon or sausage egg and cheese but the chicken sandwhich is very good to. I brag about this place to everybody I know. Anyone giving this place a bad review is absolutely ridiculous.

This is our every Sunday place. A family-run Deli with excellent bagels, a wide variety of drink options and tasty sandwiches. The morning sun hits the tables outside, and there are a good mix of 2 and 4-seaters inside. Free wifi is available and two restrooms. Love this place!

This is the go to place for everyone on a Sunday morning. Excellent bagel sandwiches and self service coffee. They bring the food to your table after you pay. A little eclectic with skyline pictures on the wall, old fire place, fast moving ceiling fans, and drinks stacked against the wall, but definitely a good value, good food, and friendly hard working staff serving many people.

I ordered a soy latte. It was very bad. I only had a couple sips then threw it away, then went home and made my own coffee. They up-charge for soy milk... not cool. If seeing meat makes you queasy, dont here because the meat is displayed in the front case like a butcher shop. Im giving 3 stars because the employees were nice, it was clean and their refrigerator case of drinks was well stocked, but my score for the coffee is 1 star.

My only complaint is I wish this place was open longer. The food is amazing the bagels are so fresh! I also ordered their chicken fantastic sandwich which is very tasty. First time visitor. Nice, quaint deli. Ordered everything bagel with lox spread, and an iced coffee. Price is reasonable for the amount of lox spread. The bagel was soft on the inside, but had that slight crunch when I first bit into it. Coffee was spot on. Theres a sitting area outside for those early morning, cool afternoon, bites. The deli is in a shopping strip, and parking is free, and its not far from Fairfax County courts.

I had a place like this next to my high school that was family owned, and I swore by it, but Main Street Deli is definitely a hidden gem, if I ever get asked for a great local breakfast spot, this will hands down be my recommendation! The best part, other than it’s local, is its family owned, so that means, if they mess up, they’ll fix it. Period. But it won’t happen often if at all! Mark my words, and if they do, just give them a chance to win you back, you won’t regret giving them a second chance(IF you’re that rarity) but I won’t go anywhere else as long as they are here!

Reliable place for well made carry-out bagels with a reasonable selection of sandwiches and breakfast items. The place is almost always busy in the morning and at lunch, but tables are usually available as most customers are there for the take-away. Eating in means it is necessary to order at the counter, but food is delivered to the tables. The staff is generally pleasant and accommodating. The deli can be quite noisy, so not a good place for conversation.

Friendly service, ample parking, delicious food, giving 4 stars because it took a lot longer to get 3 bagels than I would have expected for a not super busy morning. Will come back here though!

They prefer you to use cash. Call ahead if you want a specific flavor Bagel cuz they run out but also continue to cook them all day. They have Boars Head deli meats also which it really tasty.

Main street Bagel Deli located on main street of Fairfax city has soft and fresh bagels in the whole town. Extremely friendly staff and with a variety of choices in their menu card. Not expensive either. Serve your health by replacing other junk food with one of these.

This is my familys go-to place for Sunday brunch, and we like that its a local business. Service is a little slow when theyre busy, but thats understandable (because its a small place) and forgivable (because the food is always really good).Bonus points -- they stock Boylan Soda in the drink coolers!

A Fairfax institution. And the best (and only independent) bagel shop in the city. A hangout, read a newspaper, and chat with friends as they come and go kind of place. The teenage/college staff can be a bit ditsy and impersonal sometimes, but the people in charge are great.
