Absolutely wonderful selection of Turkish and American breakfast and lunch fare. Steady stream of customers in here! The owners are also very supportive of the community and donated day-old bagels to the Fairfax HS football team this summer! Ive bought several items myself while Im there picking up the bagels. Owners are so nice and go above and beyond. The coffee cake muffin is amazing! Real coffee baked right inside...vs calling a crumb-cake muffin a coffee cake. The raspberry-chocolate muffin and peach flavors are also delicious! Give this place a try!

Very friendly staff! Greeted when we came in. Lots of goodies to choose from. We got baklava, croissant, and a coconut lemon muffin. All were good! Wish the muffin had more of the lemon flavor though. Get there early as their items run out quick!

All those reviews I read are from customers. I am a delivery driver. I have never had the food, but it looks delicious and believe it is. This review is not about the food. It is about picking up orders to deliver to customers. They put their Turkish customers first and your delivery order last. I stood there 30 minutes waiting to pick up an order and I ended up cancelling it. It is the same as people cutting in line ahead of you. All delivery drivers hear this: Cancel picking up at this place!

Very good food. Got the breakfast platter and a couple croissants. Nice to see Julius Meinl espresso. Quick service. Interior feels a bit cramped and could use some updating.

Searching for a Julius Meinl coffee source online yesterday I found Fairfax Bakery and received much more than the quality coffee I was seeking. I discovered owners who are passionate about their business and are especially talented bakers in my opinion. I bought pistachio baklava to enjoy with my JM coffee there, a butter croissant and poppyseed muffin to go for tasting later. I also impulse purchased a Turkish coffee and a small box of dark chocolate covered espresso beans. Ozlem asked what sweetness level I wanted the Turkish coffee to be which I appreciated and it was delicious.The pistachio baklava was sensational. It had a beautiful golden color. The baklava was moist not dripping with syrup, buttery and balanced with the right amount of sweetness and had perfect chewable texture. Later in the evening after dinner at home I enjoyed the lemon poppyseed muffin that was flavorful and not so dense and heavy as some bakers make them. I have not tasted the butter croissant yet nor the chocolate covered espresso beans but I am confident they will be equally high quality.

EVERYTHING tastes Fresh and Delicious!Highly recommend the Turkish bagel and olive paste bread with HUMMUS!!Being a baker myself make me eating bread religiously, but hands down for their baked goods!Please don’t hesitate to support them!!

I absolutely love this place! My go-to favorite cafe, Im usually here at least once a week. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the muffins are delicious (I usually bring some home for my family) and if youve never had an authentic Turkish breakfast, you HAVE to experience it!!! Sadly I cant ever get here early enough to snag one of their amazing croissants...they disappear so fast! On my last visit I grabbed a bunch of things for my best friends bachelorette party and this pistachio baklava was gone in 5 seconds flat! I also love everyone that works here, Im always greeted with a friendly smile and awesome service. Highly highly recommend!

Their baklava feels like a hug from my grandma! It looks like such an unassuming place, and the bakery name doesnt really do the food justice, so it flies under the radar more than it should. I hope everyone in the area who likes baklava - and is picky about it being made right! - tries it from here; Im positive theyll all be repeat customers.

Its a very good turkish bakery, everything is fresh and tastes good. The only reason I am giving four star is they charge us almost the same price for refilling tea. Most of the places that I went refilling tea or coffee is free.

Always impressed every time we visit. Food is always excellent, and the bagel sandwiches are extremely under rated. The muffin selection is broad with a lot of different flavors, and the pastries are most excellent. Definitely feels like a home meal every time I’ve come here.

I found this bakery through Groupon, and I have to say, I loved my experience here! I had Lox on a bagel with Turkish coffee, which tasted amazing. I believe it’s owned by a Turkish couple, and they are the nicest people you’ll ever encounter.

Very nice staff. Went in with a friend and the owner(?) Was very nice and explained a lot of what they had. They seem to have a lot of Turkish stuff too, but its good for general Mediterranean food - byrek, bakllava, etc. Hope to be back in the area some day to taste more. ❤️🇹🇷

Fantastic croissants, muffins & bagels, and a wonderful selection of Baklava variants to choose from... Turkish coffee is available, as are regular coffee options, soft drinks, sour cherry juice, and a yoghurt drink called ayran. Plus a Turkish breakfast (& other classic egg choices) and sandwiches. All in all, your perfectly arrayed breakfast bakery. Muffins are always freshly baked, and sometimes still warm.Oh, and they sell chocolate covered pistachios! (Plus other chocolate covered delicacies but the pistachios are my favorite).

I brought my parents here for brunch and we absolutely LOVED it, enjoyed everything about our experience. It’s very clean and neat, which is something we always like seeing especially now with COVID. We had Turkish breakfast and a few pastries and everything was spot on! The staff was really sweet and welcoming. My family and I are very big foodies and if we liked it, I’m sure everyone else will also!

My family and I came to your bakery. There were 4 customers were sitting in the middle and couldn’t sit behind or in front of them, because of social distancing. What I suggest to rearrange you tables. We like to support the small businesses but our safety and others are important too.We still looking forward to come and enjoy you Turkish breakfast!

Quilty breakfast for a reasonable prices.

Came here to try something new for breakfast with my family. The food was good but, I waited an unusually long time, which was hard for my little kiddos. Next time I would probably call ahead to place an order. I would definitely go back though.

I am stunned at the great reviews for this place. Either they are all by people that are (whatever nationality the people that run this place are) or they have never been to a place that makes the basics. I got a spinach and feta on a croissant it was awful. Dried out and tasteless...the worst part was what ever those seed things were on the croissant??? They were awful tasting...I thought they were poppy seeds when I saw it in the counter...but they were bigger than that...it just was NOT good.***EDITED TO ADDRESS OWNER RESPONSE BELOW : They may not have been seeds but they were black things...I dont know what you call that type of seasoning, also I have the correct place I just looked at all the pictures and your website of the store****.

My husband and I often stay in Fairfax to bring our son to college. We skipped our hotels free breakfast an opted for something other than the typical coffee chains. We were so glad to find this tasteful little bakery.Every single baked item in the case looked amazing, but I decided on the berry muffin. It was very delicious..down to the last crumb and pair with a wonderful cup of cappuccino all made with love! We will be back!

Bagels amazing!! Coffee ok. Not crazy about them allowing indoor dining right now. It is such a small store and there were people eating (obviously without masks) right next to the counters and line.

I love their bakery stuffs and cupcakes! You can find all variety of the cupcakes. My favorite is chocolate strawberry! I go there every morning ! I definitely recommend that place ! The owner and the employees are very polite and friendly!

I was very disappointed in the quality of the muffins I purchased today. The four muffins I got were not soft and fresh, they felt like they have been sitting in the case for a day or so. These muffins were not worth $10.
