We purchased a car from here & had to switch employment about a month into Owning the car. They literally repossessed the vehicle within 24 hours of a payment being due, they are a joke for an agency, waste of time, waste of money, take your business elsewhere. The only positive was Bethany & her kind and quick service.

Bernie is amazing! He did absolutely everything in his power to make sure I went home with the car I had my heart set on. Even stayed an hour after they had already closed to finish filling everything out with me. Highly recommend!

Went in for a regulator for a back window, mind you the window rolled up and down normally. Came out of the shop to find a higher amount on the bill than quoted, and now you have to roll window up in order for it to roll down, instead of the proper way. They put the door handle on and now it does not unlock.

First Class Service, helped us get into a vehicle when we were not assisted by other dealerships. Customer oriented, more importantly people oriented. They really went the extra mile for us. Would definitely recommend, would do business again.

If I could give a half a star i would they will NOT help you or work with you cause your Job being your credit, have a interview this week for a good paying job and told them that and they still will NOT help you!! Bad customer service!!

The prices were higher than what you might get elsewhere but I went in knowing that because they report to all three credit bureau’s and have an excellent 24 month 24000 mile service plan I was more than willing to pay the higher rate. I got the care that suited me best amd I love it, I did not feel rushed as I test drove 4 cars nor did I feel pushed toward what the salesman wanted me to buy, in fact he only suggested one car and it was well within the parameters I was using. When I did decide on a care the purchase process was very smooth and fairly fast, the customer service was amazing Bernie was nice and easy to talk to about what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Byrider to people who want a new car with great services and are looking to build credit.

Okay lets just start this off saying we never ever had a problem with JD byrider until we had to get our second car but we are pretty sure they do not make sure anything is properly gone over at there automotive department with any of the cars they sale firdt car abs light came on we sent it in to jd byrider automotive department they said it was normal for out car to make the sound we told them we started hearing when the light came on and that it was fine but it didnt seem fine so my boyfriend asked his automotive teacher and he said that was not normal and that it could cause engine problems and othet problems such as spark plugs ect so we told jd that they said that wasnt true well just two months before that car was payed off engine stopped getting compression too two cylinders which is another thing that could happen with the abs light and the sound we had heard but still we didnt think at all that it was JD fault they had told us it was fine so we assumed they were being honest the automotive department did their job they checked it out! So after the engine wad a total loss and we needed a car as soon as possible for work ect so went with jd AGAIN big mistake as soon as we got are second car the brakes are squeaking we Tell them they had us bring the car Im and they changed the rotors and brakes so they said but anyways brakes still squeaking so we take it to Elliots automotive he says the pads look good nothing looked bad so we send it to master tire who works with jd byRider and they say the same but why else would they squeak !!!my boyfriend learned in School something is wrong when they squeak so we get the pads change them ourself we find rtv sealant used to hold the pads together that was done my JD the other two places we sent it to didnt remove the breaks they did a visual inspection since we changed them they havent squeaked since now our catalytic converter already needed changed after not even having the second car a year yet wasnt covered under warranty so we have to make payments on that added to our car payment cool we went with it to get a call you have liability insurance yes we did on our other car for almost 4 years as well well you need full coverage or your car will be picked up excuse me i just payed our car payment today ....is there nothing we can do seriously this is rediculous also my boyfriemd mad about the brakes and there automotive department putting our lifes at risk with the rtv sealant because rtv sealant seperates things it expands things there general manager on the sales side mike got upset because we didnt want out car to go to them because it also before even a year needed a water pump he tells my boyfriend if you shut up he can tell him what he needs to do thats how you deal with customers who are upset who have always been on time with there payments no matter what we have a video of how he acts when my boyfriend goes up to talk to him in person. Hes very rude very unprofessional they all are they guys that called me about my insurance that threatened to take out car if we dont switch told me hes not going to argue with me because I told him we never had it on our previous car we had for almost 4 years whats different????

Most amazing customer service! Had my car towed Thursday night and they had it fixed Friday morning by 9AM.

I had awesome people to work with, and the service was great! There was a few things I didn’t understand through the process of signing papers, as this was my first time getting a car off a dealership lot, or a buy here pay here lot, but all of the staff were very friendly and the finance team were very helpful.

If you would’ve asked me a couple years ago how this place was, I would’ve said they need happier people working. Tonight I bought a Dodge Journey and they have the best group of people working now. They were smiling, even when I was picky about my car, and had a great attitude about helping take something I want and not something I didn’t want.. So, if you are looking for a way to fix your credit, I do suggest JD Byrider in Evansville. Thank you all for the kind attitudes and helping me leave happy.

Amazing experience. They went above and beyond. Had cars ready and waiting to test drive as I returned with one. (knowing I was in a time crunch) even left a goody bag in our car. Literally the worst place / experience Ive had. Financed a 2005 Honda through them and had no issues for the first couple weeks, except some front end work that had to be done and was eventually fixed. (Which was a known issue at the time) a few weeks later the car would overheat while sitting idle at stop lights. I took it to them 3 times in which they DID NOT offer a rental vehicle until I went in there complaining the third time while the car was being serviced. Still have the paperwork of services and pictures of the car overheating which I would post if images were allowed. Car was never fixed after three services and seems they masked the problem until the purchase was made. Highly recommend to avoid.

The thing about buy here, pay here dealerships, is that you have to go in knowing what to expect. Therefore, I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed because my credit is not great. It’s not even good. However the folks there will work with you, provided you have sufficient income to pay off your vehicle. They’ll even schedule your payments in relation your paydays to make payments a little easier. And they also report your on time payments to the credit bureaus, so while you’re paying off your new vehicle, you’re building credit.There are plenty of others like Byrider, but they were my first choice. And fortunately, my only choice. That should be a testament to how good their service is.

Thanks Beth!-but since I’ve brought the vehicle I’ve had to take it to the tire shop four times for the same issue and too there own repair shop two times so I do recommend getting the warranty they offer unfortunately and having a busy schedule doesnt make it easy for all the inconveniences. I do understand they are used cars but I was guaranteed it was ready to go, figuring it was on the lot to be sold. Do bring a mechanic friend or someone with knowledge of a vehicle if and when you purchase a vehicle from Byrider.
