Bought a 2013 jeep wrangler from here which is in extremely great shape. Drove it from the dealership to my house and the check engine light came on as I pulled into the driveway. Went and had the codes read and replaced the parts specified for $50. Also having an issue with the heat not working properly. Called the dealership and spoke to the sales manager Nick who, after being rude and stating well it is used, said I could bring it by and they would figure out the issue. Dropped off the vehicle and they called me later that day and stated that the issue could be caused by a couple different things. Stated they wanted to bring it to the jeep dealership to confirm their diagnosis. But if their diagnosis was correct it would be 8 hours of work which I would be responsible for. Now being a big business you would think that you would want to make your customers happy. You would think if you brought an issue with the vehicle to them just a couple hours later they would make it right. Well, with these people it is not the case. We were also told that this vehicle was completely gone through and that it had no issues. If thats the case then how does the check engine light come on after a 20 minute drive home? Seems like the dealership wiped the codes just so they would be able to sell the vehicle. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. If you wanted happy customers I would think you would have good customer service and would take care of any issues if they are identified within a reasonable amount of time. Two weeks later went to do some work on front brakes and the specialty lug nut socket was no longer in the glove box. It was there when I inspected the vehicle but not there when I needed it after the detailing at the dealership was done.
They lied to me. I put 12000 dollars down and wrote another check for 2000 that was suppose to be held for two weeks. They cashed it four days after I wrote it. Caused overdraft fees and other checks to bounce. All they had to say was sorry. They cant be trusted
UPDATED: I bought my 2008 Ford Focus back in early September. I feel they took advantage of my desperate situation of needing a new car, and gave me less for my trade in than everyone else had offered. As the 45 day mark approached for my temp tags, I called them up and asked where my title information was. They said they had sent out the paperwork late, but it would be there soon. The paperwork did eventually arrive however it was missing most of the documents I needed. I went back to the dealership and asked if I could have the documents to go get my tags. After stalling for about 45 minutes, they came out and said that they had misplaced the title paperwork and that they would have to reorder it from the state. I asked if they could extend my temp plates until the new paperwork came in. They said, and I quote, you should continue driving on expired plates and if you get pulled over, we can do the best we could to help you out with the ticket. Once I told them that was not going to work and I needed something immediately, they reluctantly got me a rental. Once my title paperwork came in I went to the BMV and was charged a $15 late fee for allowing the temp tags to expire. I went back to the dealership and said that since it was their screw up that caused the plates to expire, I needed to be reimbursed. They said they would have it in a day or two and would be issued by check, as they did not carry petty cash. After a week of zero contact from them, I go back in person, once again explain everything, upon which time they handed me $15 in cash. The same cash they could not hand me a week prior. This entire experience was completely unnecessary. This dealership has made numerous excuses, dragged their feet and tried to pass the additional costs on to me for their poor handling of my purchase.
I bought a used BMW X1 2016 with 6,234 milesCertified preowned from Debbie. She knew what I was looking for and sent some pictures of the vehicle to me. We negotiated over the phone between her and her boss. Agreed to a price and I gave them my word I would be there before the end of the month (September). I picked up and signed papers the last day of September as promised. I will say I absolutely love the exterior color and the interior so very much!!! What I’m not happy about as getting it home I pushed the sunroof button to open and close and the liner was ripped. Which it was back when it was shown to me. I immediately told my sales lady and brought it back. They scheduled the vehicle to be looked at and came back with a bill of over 2,000 for me to have it fixed. I told them there was NO way I was paying for something that was clearly ripped when I purchased the vehicle. I left very unhappy and had several conversations with my sales lady as she said it wasn’t right and couldn’t believe they weren’t going to fix it. I spoke to Seth one of the managers. I asked for them to make it right. I would not have purchased this vehicle had I known that the sunroof liner was ripped until they fixed it properly. It has a panoramic sunroof..... I own a small business and if something I sell doesn’t meet up to standard I will make it right. You are a very large business and are making a profit. What does it hurt for you to fix something clearly hidden it was back when I picked it up. My fault also for not checking as I trusted a car dealership to be honest. My mistake..... I’ve waited hoping someone would call to make it right as I’m guessing this will not be the case. I’m sure I got shoved aside as I quit calling. I will be reporting to the better business bureau. They did offer a discount and I would have to pay 700 and something for it to be fixed it’s just wrong. The car was not perfect pre-certifiedGinger Rodgers
Special thank you to Nick, who helped me finalize the sale of my 2018 Fusion to DPatrick. I had been to several dealerships in an effort to sell my car and essentially break the lease that was owed on the car. DPatrick never ONCE pressured me into buying another car from them. They went to their back office, ran some numbers and within minutes, had a deal on the table for me. Due to Ford Credit being insanely obnoxious to deal with when attempting to break a lease, DPatrick ran into some hiccups along the way- but Nick pushed everything through in the end and I was extremely grateful for their service. Do not buy a car here. Spent almost 10K on a used Ford C-Max and got 200 miles out of it before it died. Was informed that it was tough luck and I was on the hook for repairs at a Ford Dealership (it was a Hybrid so yeah) at 100 bucks an hour for labor. Stay away.
I was on my first shopping trip to look at new cars so I didnt expect to buy anything. After listening carefully to what I wanted in a car the salesman showed me 3 options with each getting closer and closer to what I wanted. Then he checked on what was available on the lot and took me to a car that was perfect in every way including a price from which I would have been nuts to walk away. I was able to trade in the car I was driving and drive my new car home! Ive never been so pleased with a shopping experience.
Tyler Stinson has a great salesman skill. Not too pushy but knowledgeable and shares information so that you can make a well-informed decision. We are happy with our choice to purchase from D-Patrick because the sales experience was great. I like that he didnt try to up-sale us beyond our budget.

Whatever you do, dont talk to Chad in the hat. I went to look at a particular car which was the THIRD car he showed us not the first. The entire time he was showing us cars he was showing cars that didnt fit my specifications, many of which I had already rejected upon seeing online. I felt pressured by him. He tried to convince me to more than double my stated budget. When I was tired and ready to leave, he insisted on more cars, despite that I had already said no.
We just bought a 2011 Jetta from Solomon at the D Patrick on Greenriver. We had a very small budget and a low credit score, however, Solomon was respectful, patient, and willing to work with us. We looked at a couple cars and ended up with a deal that was even better than we had planned for! Thanks a ton to the whole staff at D Patrick!

I went to another dealership in Evansville before I came to D-Patrick. I had an awful experience with shady salesmen who were just trying to make a buck and I was ready to just give up. Sean completely changed my view on the entire car buying experience. The managers and office staff at D-Patrick were great too! We came at the end of the day on a Saturday and everyone involved stayed and hour late to help us and make sure we left with the vehicle I wanted. Thank you all so much! I was able to get a pretty great deal on a mini van that they had just purchased from an auction. I felt that I was treated pretty fairly. My only complaint was the battery in the van died before we even left the lot. I was told if it died again to come back and they would take care of it.... I came back the next day and they said they couldnt take care of it because I bought the van as is.... would have been nice of them to atleast make sure the battery was in good shape when they told me everything checked out on the van. I ended up having to buy a new battery when my wife got stranded the very next day. Its the small things that really make a business great hence the 3 stars and not 5

My first experience with D Patrick started with a search on the internet. Jesse immediately sent me an email and we stayed in touch for about 1 month. I made arrangements to see 3-4 cars on July 5. Frankie the manager called the morning of July 5 to introduce himself and to let us know that he an associate will be meeting us. Chad was the associate that shows us some cars. He was great with our family as we were looking for a car for our son. Chas found a car that was perfect for our son. Probably one of the most disappointing car buying experiences Ive ever had here. I have fair credit, certainly wouldnt consider it good or great. With that being said, my fiance and I were greeted right away by a very ambitious sales rep named Chad (he was NOT the issue)... We were approved for the car we were trying to buy but the bank required more money down than we coukd afford. What happenwd next really blew me away. Chad comes walkibg out after being there several hours, and says, Got you approved!! and dangles the keys out in front of me. Then proceeds to walk me over to a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. Mind you we were trying to buy a 2013 Ford Taurus. He says payments are only $350 a month for 72 months... I do the math in my head and suddenly I am paying $25,000 for a $14,000 car and its a car that I hadnt even looked at to this point. I said, hold up. I dont want this car, I want the Taurus I thought I was buying. Now Im being told the mileage was too high for my credit and the Jetta ia my only option. Thanks Dpatrick for trying to push me into a car I cant afford just to get a sale under your belt, but you arent going to bamboozle me into this one. So buyers beware of pushy practices and a management staff that will attempt to snowball you from a $7,000 car you can afford into a $14,000 car you cant...

Always very accommodating and hospitable. The sales and service department both exceed expectations and have never disappointed. I move permanently to Portland, Oregon and I truly hope that the VW dealership there is at least half as good at their jobs as the employees of D-Patrick.
If i could give no stars, i would. i purchased my first vehicle here in January of 2018. my car was not detailed at all when i drove it off the lot, absolutely filthy. Also, literally the day after i brought it home, the check engine light came on and i had to fight them to replace it at no charge (turns out it was the catalytic converter), they also did not send my plates out in time so i had to drive down there (45 min drive for me) to get my paper plate, on my way there, i find out that my car will NOT go over 80 mph. there was a control on the vehicle not letting it go over and i would have to purchase a new key to turn the control off ($110) now here we are 8 months later and the brake booster is failing which this piece was replaced 5 DAYS before i purchased it.my first time purchasing a vehicle has been a complete nightmare and i do not feel like this company cares about their customers, i will never purchase from here again.

After less than 90 days, our Chevy traverse was deemed totaled by 2 mechanics after it threw a Cam shaft. An attempt was given to put us in a new car only to find out it had a few major issues, including a wreck, that they did not disclose. After refusing to fix anything or offering a fair price for a new car we threw in the towel with them. They were dishonest with us as well as unfair in their pricing.

Do not buy here!!! They will put you in a car that the engine will blow a month later and then will try and put you in a vehicle that was wrecked and needed a 2k fix. When it happened my husband went in and talked to frank who swore they would make it right. Making it right in their eyes was lying about another vehicle ( thank God my mechanic caught it). So we had to dish out 7k to get a vehicle a new engine that we had for a month. 2011 Chevy traverse that of course they asked why we didnt get a warranty...they didnt offer one or believe me we would of!! It has been a year of dealing with a lemon of a car and I gave up on d Pat fixing anything because obviously they dont care about the things they mess up and would rather see a family with 3 small children have to dump all their savings into a vehicle. Also they claimed they did a check on the vehicle before we bought it....the mechanic that worked on it after words said that they would of caught it if they did it...so either they did and didnt care or didnt check anything before!! Never again will dpat get my business or anyone I know!! Apparently it needs added, they did nothing to try and help us get into another vehicle! They lied and treated me like I was stupid and also Ted was there and they refused to let us talk to him and claimed he couldnt do anything either. Unless dpat will reimburse my 5k deposit so that I can get a reliable vehicle and take this piece of junk back I dont see them ever fixing this issue! I even tried to find one at another dpat lot because the man at dpat Honda was very nice and wanted to help but the used lot wouldnt let us...

I have bought several cars from this dealer and they have made it a great process.
1. Sales manager was rude, demeaning and unprofessional.2. Prep work on my end was done so a lot of time was not wasted but the administrative assistant didn’t get the info to sales person so they were ready for us when we got there3. They low balled the trade in, only dropped this list price by 98 dollars and we bantered a LONG TIME . I knew our vehicle was worth way more then they were offering and I was being reasonable They marked it up 5900 dollars more then what they gave us . Yes I understand they needed to make money but they lied when they said the prices on the internet are only making them about 600 dollars ! Uh big fat false unless they drop the price of the vehicle we traded by 5300 .4. This why people don’t trust used car salesmen!2.15.19 and the saga continuesThe car had been on the lot since last November (if that is even the truth) I specifically asked the sales man Chad Gudorf and he said it had been there no more then a month . I also asked about inspection especially concerning brakes he said it was inspected and brakes were good, two weeks after we had the car we are replacing the rear breaks ! The car was inspected when the they received but that was 3 months prior to us purchasing and who knows how much it had been driven . After a harsh conversation they said we could bring it back in for a inspection but if there was anything that needed fixed that we would be liable for the costs and the labor they would lower the cost to their cost of parts but labor would be as is and I told him now this should’ve been done like it was supposed of been. They did not inspect! They didn’t provide a vin verification and they were supposed to. They did not provide the car fax after I requested BEFORE we left the lot.

Unfortunately, I cant say that my experience was a positive one. I ended up walking out as I could no longer tolerate the unprofessional behavior of my sales rep Mike Riley. Firstly, let me say that I was perfectly clear with Mr. Riley that I would not be making a purchase decision that day. My decision would be based on the cost of repairs to my current vehicle, which I would not know until Monday. I also clearly articulated to him that I was interested in seeing three cars: a 2013 Infiniti and two 2014 Honda Accords. He advised me that one of the Accords was no longer available, yet he made no effort to see if there was a similar vehicle available for me to consider. I liked the Infinity, but when I asked to test drive the Accord, he asked me if this was a car that I would be interested in buying. I had already expressed this to him previously, so I was somewhat offended that he would ask me this question, almost as if I was wasting his time with test driving the Accord, just because I liked the Infinity. Upon returning from the test drive, I reiterated that I was very interested in the Infiniti. He asked me if I wanted him to run the numbers and I said yes. At no point did I convey to him that I was going to make a purchase that day. I just needed to see if the numbers were within my budget, which they were. He printed out a document for me to sign that I thought was simply me accepting the price, not a purchase agreement. I had a concern about a blemish on the vehicle and needed to know if there would be a price reconsideration if the blemish could not be removed. He left for a moment to confer with the Sales Manager, who assured me that this would be taken care of. To my surprise, Mr. Riley then asked me to complete a credit application. I asked him did he not understand me when I told him that I would not be making a purchase today. His whole demeanor changed as he became very angry, accusing me of misleading him. He then began to argue with me about what I told him. At no point did I ever change my position on not making a purchase decision on that day. At this point, I became very frustrated, so I just got up and left. I would never buy a car from him based on his dismissive attitude. I do think that this establishment does have quality vehicles for sale at reasonable prices, and I would still consider buying a vehicle from them. The Sales Managers that I came into contact with were very pleasant. It could be that this particular Sales Rep was having a bad day, and I caught the blunt of it.
Just bought my third car from d-pat. Tyler realy took the time to help me and my wife find the right car. We went in there wanting so many diffrent things. Tyler was able to listen to our wants and find the perfect car and than got it for us at the perfect price.
