My insurance company recommended Caliber Collision in Elmhurst after a little fender bender. I got an appt the same day I called them. They were fast, fair and friendly. The guy who helped me, Steve, was very professional and helpful. The customer service was excellent. I hope I never need them again (lol), but if I do, I wont hesitate. Good to know they are there and that my insurance company recommends them.

Had front damage due to hitting a deer. I needed a new bumper, light, and side panel and some minor interior damage. Steve greeted me and did my inspection and basically handled my car beginning to end! My car looks as good as new again. Wonderful friendly staff, Joe even covered some scratches on my back pumper to make it look better ! I also got daily updates on how my car is coming along and was able to text them and receive a call back anytime I wanted an update which was a big plus. 10/10 recommend caliber elmhurst and will definitely come back to them

The manager was rude the whole time to me. I came to get my terrible dents fixed and they filled it and painted it but it took way longer then they told me. The paint didn’t match at all, and they left tape marks, it was a terrible paint job and I had to get it redone twice and they had to buff it 3 times Because it wouldn’t stay shiny at all, the also broke my inside door panel and it rattles so bad now, do not get work done here at all. Worst customer service ever, the manager said he was tired of dealing with it and wasn’t going to continue fixing THEIR mistakes anymore.

The removal and replacement of my front bumper, bumper cover, grille and splash shield was completed in one day. Also, unsolicited comments from friends indicated how well the job was done.

We were in an accident and the damage was bad. Caliber techs worked on what was visible and a whole bunch of hidden damage internally too. They used the best parts and were so thorough in the inspection to make sure when we got our vehicle back it was safe for my family. I got regular updates via text, including cool pictures of when they did the paint job. They gave us a good estimate on the time it would take, and let us know when a last-minute warning light delayed our pick-up by a day. So professional and curteous throughout the whole experience. We will be going back!

They did a beautiful job of repairing and painting the fender of my 2004 Buick. I recommend them for all body work. They touched up areas that I wasnt expecting. Happy!

Such a poor experience here. My car, a 2004 BMW 3 series, was hit from behind resulting in $3,800 in damage. I was told it would be fixed and look like new. When I got the car back I had a check engine light on, the interior panels were not put back properly and rivets were popped, a cable was dangling down under the bumper, and the bumper was grossly misaligned and ended up popping out of its seat. I took the car back and when they were done with it it looked even worse. They said Thats the best we can do

I would give them six stars if I could. Steve gave me a very competitivequote. He beat 3 other local body shops for the same work. The job was completed within 72 hours of my quote. Professionally done. They even touched up some other scratches on my car for no charge. Car was as good as new when I picked it up. Good job Elmhurst Caliber! You need to include Caliber Collision in your shopping for an estimate!

After getting into an accident the last thing I want to worry about is the long process of getting my car fixed and have transportation for the time my vehicle repaired, so far I have had a great experience here. One stop shop where I get my car repaired and also they had me in a rental right away.

I scratched my car on the pillar, looks very bad. BUT they made the car like it’s brand new. They are very professional, and offer very fair rate to the body paint jobs. Definitely recommend this shop to do paint job. 5 Stars!

Explain this life time warranty, I have read about. My car has been to the Elmhurst shop 4 times my door has never been buffed and painted despite my insurance being billed for it. The control arm that was replaced lasted less than 3 weeks, and once the VW technicians said that the boot on the control arm was broken due to incorrect installation, Abra and their customer service representative (Steve) as well as their manager (Joe) said that it was not their fault and that they can’t help it broke ... within three weeks of being installed (I guess the warranty doesn’t apply to this particular issue)! The other control arm, the one on the passenger side, Abra said they would replace for free as a courtesy (even though the insurance adjusters and the VW technicians came to the conclusion that it was damaged from the collision that occurred in the accident)! Abra said they would replace the right control arm free of charge, and once I picked up my car from them, for the second time...it drove even worse. Hence...I took it back to my local VW dealership and paid $210 out of pocket to have it inspected yet AGAIN, they came to the conclusion that the right control arm still had to be replaced. Obviously it was never done. And with Abra’s track record, considering that they lied the first time when they charged Progressive for several (3) things that they had replaced/worked on, when in fact they didn’t replace or fix any of the aforementioned three issues for which they falsely submitted an invoice for (the left rim was never replaced, the door was never buffed, and the hood was never properly installed), please forgive me for not believing that they never actually replaced the right control arm. VW said it still needed to be replaced, and Steve and Joe said they weren’t going to fix anything that they fixed for free. Well...I believe that they never replaced it to begin with. And the paperwork and diagnosis from VW supports that fact.And the fact that Abra said that they couldn’t help that the boot on the left control arm broke in two weeks...well...what happened with the fact that they guarantee their work?This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an auto body/glass shop/mechanic. They’ve lied several times and fraudulently charged my insurance company from the very first time they had my vehicle in their shop, and the other three times they have had my vehicle...quite frankly...it came back in worse shape than it was in before I dropped it off.AND THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR HAS STILL NOT BEEN BUFFED. Absolutely ridiculous. They have no regard for the moral business ethics that they are held to by the better business bureau, they have no regard for what the insurance adjusters are advising them to fix based on their inspection of the vehicle as well as the VW technicians’ inspection of the vehicle. Short of retaining an attorney...I have no idea how I can ever get my car to be fixed properly! The way that a respectable with a respectable reputation would have handled this entire situation from the beginning.Because once I did a few google searches regarding Abra...I came across, not a few, but hundreds of complaints to the BBB over the last few years from people that had experienced the same type of nightmares that I did, while some were even worse. I am surprised they are still allowed to operate as a business.Regardless...that’s a far stretch of what the real issues at hand here. All I pray that happens, is that I am treated with the respect that a client should be treated with, and that my car is properly fixed.Should you have any questions about any of the issues I’ve raised here...I have all the paperwork that backs up all my aforementioned statements
