We bought a 75 inch Samsung here but had to come back the next day and cancel because my brother-in-law had upgraded their TV on the same day (coincidence) and gave us their 65 inch. Even though we ended up not purchasing this time around, the cancellation was a no questions asked, no hassle process and we will definitely come back next time when we are ready for an upgrade. Im satisfied with the service I received from The Big Screen Store, but not with the overall experience. I purchased the TV, and installation service, as well as the walk through prior to installation. The walk through never occurred and Ive tried to call the store to get a refund on the home walk through service, but didnt get a response. When I first called the store, the rep that I dealt with wasnt available, so I left a message but didnt get a call back. I tried calling again, but he wasnt in the store.Im now deployed overseas so cant call back to try and get the refund. So, like I said in the beginning, Im satisfied with the service when I was in the showroom, but a little disappointed with the overall experience.So, would I recommend The Big Screen Store, the answer is yes, but make sure you make all the arrangements prior to leaving.

I have bought tvs from a variety of places. I shopped around this time and ended up choosing The Big Screen store. Although I had a specific model in mind, I still wanted to see the various models that were available. The salesman there took his time showing me the different models, features and picture quality. Very professional and patient, no attempt to upsell me to more than I wanted. I may have been able to save a few bucks going with a no- name on line discounter, which I have done before, but I was able to get the TV the next day which I would not have gotten had I shipped elsewhere. The delivery guys carried the TV in to the room Im installing it in and they verified it powered up before they left as part of the delivery (free). And I got an extra year of Samsung warranty. Will definitely buy from them again.

I had the pleasure of working with Adam when my old TV finally died. He was extremely professional and gave me one of the best customer experiences Ive ever had. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, their truck was delayed which impacted when they could get the TV to me. However, when I called to follow up on my order a few days later, he not only remembered my name and what I bought, but also gave me a rundown of all the behind the scenes things he had been working on to coordinate a quick and easy delivery. The install was scheduled the day after the unit came in and they were extremely professional. Very nice, had on their gloves and masks, and they even went the extra mile and hid the wires in the wall for me! Hands down the best service Ive ever had. Theyve earned a customer for life... Well, I must have gone on a bad day because my experience this time with the salesman was the opposite of other reviews and my excellent experience 7 years ago or so. I purposely went to this store because of their expertise. This time (12/30/19) when I walked in at 11:00 and told the salesperson ( Roy) I wanted a 40 TV, he answered in a very rude, condescending manner, We dont sell them- thats why we are called Big screen store.. (Excuse my ignorance on what constitutes the inventory.) So, I naturally asked him next size and about sales. I was immediately shut down about sales, future sales,etc.and I picked a Samsung 43 inch It was a fast purchase; he never offered any extended warranty ( I had to ask him) nor did he ask if I had necessary cables. Every comment from him had some kind of condescending, chauvinistic undertone. Thankfully I didnt have to do any kind of financing. That would have been too painful for all. I guess he was tired since the store had only been open for 5 minutes and I was the only customer. I cant imagine why this sort of person was hired. So far the TV is good- a bit early to comment.The delivery guys were prompt, respectful and knowledgeable; maybe they can replace Roy in sales??

We joined the 21st century with our first flat screen TV. Though we live in downtown SS, I relished the positive reviews of the Ellicott City Big Screen store and they did not disappoint. I called in October of last year and asked Roy to simplify the process and walk me through it. He was excellent, thorough and not hard sell. We delayed our purchase until the pandemic forced our hand. I called back and asked to speak with Roy and he remembered our conversation. He made me feel like I was dealing with Nordstrom!The installers, which we opted for because we are geezers who wanted it to be easy, were also excellent and efficient. There were some communication glitches Between the store, delivery and installation, so be sure to get your details straight. It was a dream experience and we now have an extraordinary and greatly enhanced viewing and hearing experience! Even got faster install than I was expecting. Great service is hard to come by these days, and this store provides great service!

During the Christmas rush, so we waited to speak to a salesman. The salesperson seemed generally knowledgable but couldve told us that the picture may be enhanced by using a 4K video box from our cable provider. We eventually found out, switched boxes and all is well at this point. Instillation was excellent and delivery was on time.

I had a very good experience with The Big Screen Store. Greg was attentive but not overbearing. Once we made our decision, he showed us how the TV worked so there would be no surprises when we got home. The TV was delivered on-time, three people were on the set-up crew, and they carefully set-up the TV and blu-ray player. They again briefly walked through the functionality of the TV. It may be obvious that they have top of the line technology but I was incredibly but impressed with the experience from start to finish. Most of the time good reviews are inflated, but not this time. I went there with my wife shopping for a new tv. Both salesmen had PH.Ds all things Samsung TVs. One, they can sale a person a winter coat in the middle of a desert. Two, they treat every customer like they have one million dollars to spend. Greg refunded me the difference and honored their policy no questions asked and more than what I expected since he found it cheaper! Purchased on Friday, professionally installed on Monday - price matched - what more can you hope for. We had done our research in advance, but Greg provided great additional comparative product information with low pressure sales, and a comfortable store environment (Ellicott City) to hang out and decide amongst the many (Samsung) options on display. Installers (Joe and Justin) were excellent connecting TV optically to our existing home theater system.
