One star because of the accusatory attitude of lady at self check-out. I bought two 12 packs of lipton peach tea. They both scanned but the second scanned the bar code of a bottle instead of the pack, so posted the wrong price. She said I had only scanned one item until I showed her the screen that confirmed two items scanned. She had to back off then, but was disrespectful. And at $6.99 per item was much higher than $4.49 or $4.79 at the competition. This is not a Ralphs that I enjoy shopping at.

Have had great experiences with employees at self check out. Always helping me type in numbers and get in and out of line as fast as possible. Good selection, pricier than most other places but then again, it is much nicer and without the riff raff.

Usually a pretty good place to shop late at night which works perfect for me cause Im graveyard. However, their fruit quality seems to have gone way down lately. I brought these (moldy strawberries and grapes) home about 3 days ago and now theyre such a mess that I cant even take them in for a refund. And I just returned the raspberries yesterday, almost all black, after having them barely 2 days. My fridge is a mess and this is so gross.They have a decent meat and frozen section tho. And dry foods. Anything you have to cook, really. Just maybe avoid the fruits section for a while or youll end up disappointed and with a mess to clean up, like me.

We went there for their sale on Coke. We only spent a little time in the store to get the items we wanted. We decided to do self checkout. The customer service was awesome!! The lady was super nice and helpful to us!!!! This store was in Rancho San Diego.

Asked for help from a worker and immediately he pulled his mask down and spat in my eye. (Now my eye is itchy and swollen) I was extremely angry and tried to call for the manager but he grabbed my groceries and knocked me down with the mop they use to clean the floors. Will not be coming back. :/

Love this Ralphs location. Cashiers are super nice and always almost happy. Today was pretty funny how the cashiers were joking around and i joined in and it turned into this big conversation while no one behind me, luckily. Products fresh. Amazing meet, seafood and love the bakery department

This is my local Ralphs and it is a fine store. Their selection isnt the greatest in the world but they have Im going to the other things you will need. The service is good and the pricing is okay. Organic selection leaves something to be desired, but still a nice clean location

I love Ralphs! My parents shopped there, I have always shopped there and my daughter shops there. High quality food at good prices with nice employees and great service! There are lots of large supermarkets, smaller stores and specialty stores that have different supplies. The quality and variety and comprable pricing will always make Ralphs the best.

Cashiers are speedy with their work routines and have a friendly approach to dealing with their customers. The floor is torn up now, so I assume they are undergoing some remodeling or maintenance currently. But everything else is still fine. Selection of merchandise is great and prices are better than some other grocery stores.

My husband likes to say that Ralphs has better produce than Albertsons. I dont know if I agree with that statement, but I do like their produce. Other than that tidbit, this store doesnt carry a whole lot. If its not a commonly bought item like milk then they may not have what your looking for. Its a frustrating store.

Standard Ralphs shopping center. Decent selection with a friendly staff. The new arrangement for the food side is a bit unusual and throws the flow of shopping off a bit. The produce section is always decent and their meat counter has a great selection, including fresh poke. The beer selection is good with several single select cans or bottles available. The deli counter is set on an L which keeps it from seeming over crowded but draws the workers into an odd position of constant no where to be found. This isnt their fault as they can not see through walls. Over all a decent store with friendly knowledgeable staff ready to help.

I work for Instacart and am at this location almost daily through my work. I love this store and its team. The Front end manager Jack Roybal, is always so helpful, patient and friendly! Everytime Ive been checked out in his lane it makes my job go by fast and efficiently. So sad to see him being transferred to another store. This store will be losing a valuable front end manager!

Had to run in and grab a frozen meal on the fly to take to work and realized I wouldnt have anything to eat it with. Wasnt super excited about buying a whole pack of forks, but an employee said I could grab a single one from the deli area. Great customer service!

I love this Ralphs, it always has everything, things are in stock, nice place to work (from what I heard), and the staff love it there so theyre happy! If the staff are happy then the customers will leave happy! Great environment! Must go to grocery store!

This WAS the best grocery store ever. Sue, Corina, and especially Norma are fantastic. I have no idea why they felt the need to remodel a great store. The person behind this idea is obviously out of touch and should be fired. I still shop there because the products are still good and I can usually find one of the good employees.

The Ralphs staff to me are the best. Able to answer questions of product location and willing to offer assistance. The checkout ladies are awesome really like Dominique and Betty.

This store has the most friendly and caring employees of any grocery store I have been too. Would be 5 stars except they are often out of items I wish to buy.

Much nicer than I expected. Clean and well stocked.The bad:A few people asking for donations at the entrance and the parking lot was a bit crowded on a Saturday morning. Overall a very nice, clean and well stocked supermarket.

Went to take back an extra hamburger roll and I had grabbed the wrong recpiet, So I go out to get the right recpiet which I had left at home so I went back in to just retrieve the hamburger too either bring back in the morning or not at all and the manager Sammy would not give me back the hamburger nor would he give my refund, saying if you have your rewards card I will give it too you.Well we dont use rewards cards so he basically robbed me for the hamburger and told me not to come back.Never in my life have I been treated like this and I will never shop at an Ralphs store ever again I would never have people like that working for my company what an image for an employee roll model being an manager I cant believe it. Well nice job Manager Sammy success at losing or getting rid of an loyal 20 year customer.

I think this is the first time Ive had an almost completely word-free checkout in a staffed line (not self check). The cashier was too busy yakking with the manager about someone else wanting to be pregnant. Im not complaining at all, tho usually i love to talk and be friendly in line. This was so surreal it was funny!The three stars instead of more are because there was no large curd cottage cheese! I know theres a conspiracy about limiting said cheese, but this place had none! Doh! (And yes, i know.. Im about the only one who prefers large curd)

I like this Ralphs grocery store. It is clean, has an excellent selection, prices are good if you are able to shop their sales but youve got to watch out for higher prices on other items that you pick up while you are there for the convenience. The Aisles are wide enough in this store and their parking lot is not crazy like the Food 4 Less on Broadway in El Cajon.Since I started shopping here I downloaded the Ralphs app and check the app for coupons and promos to add to my loyalty card. It also lets you make a digital shopping list and you can access the weekly sales flier (although it was buggy last week, the only sales I saw were for pet food).Everyone that works there is very friendly and even the fellow shoppers are courteous and friendly. This is a great place to shop.

My number one if Sprouts is closed or doesnt have something. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. (keep in mind I go in the late evenings).Tons of variety in every department. My favorite has to be the cleaning products. Loads of choices, organic and eco friendly. I wont lie if you dont use your coupons they are more expensive then say Walmart but we all know buying sundries at the grocery store is going to be more expensive. Use your app, use the coupons!Produce is ALWAYS GOOD. Fresh crispy flavorful.The meat is out of this world. The Simple Truth grass fed ground beef is so good. Mother in law found about 20 packages at $2 bucks a pkg a few months ago. What a steal! You cant find grass fed lean ground beef anywhere for $2 a lb. Steak goes om sale during summer and holidays $4.77 a lb for NY bone in. Fu€$+ng awesome steaks. Out of this world..Make sure to download the app and set up your profile B4 you go in to shop because they have tons and tons of coupons and you have to load them onto your card in order to use the savings.Most of the time they are totally worth it. The more you use the app and coupons the more the app start to tailor the coupons to your needs. Good luck and may the force be with you.P.S. DO NOT GO HUNGRY. Jennifer Powell at Ralphs store number 2652 in Rancho San Diego/El Cajon is an excellent employee and provided outstanding service. I had just finished grocery shopping after getting off work late at library next door, locked my keys in my car, came back into Ralphs for assistance. She was ON IT when everyone else was too busy. She grabbed a broom and looped something onto the end, came to my car, helped me fish my key out of the ignition (which I did when I had just loaded my groceries) through window and saved my sanity and my perishable groceries. She was so compassionate, efficient, friendly and courteous. I cannot say ENOUGH good things about her. Thank you, thank you, Jennifer Powell.
