I usually shop at the store once a week. The price is not bad. They do have some cheap stuff and good snacks, but their service has really gone down this past 2 months. I go in there once a week, but lately I have been avoiding this store whenever I can due to their new store manager.I don’t know her name, but she said she’s the store manager. She’s overweight, middle aged black lady. She’s hostile with a short fused and can’t wait to get rid of customers. It’s been a VERY UNPLEASANT experience lately going into this 99 cents only. The lack of basic professionalism. I went in today looking for last minute Halloween items, but they didn’t have any. So I left, and in the back parking lot there’s that hostile lady manager on her phone yelling in the parking about her coworker rolling their eyes at her GEEZ, I wonder why they’re rolling their eyes at her.

I like going here to find good deals, on all kinds of things. My favorite deals are on holiday decorations! We do the 99 at our house!

Why does nobody care that the store is lying to you with its name before you even walk in. Dont be surprised when the non marked things you buy are 2, 3, 5, maybe 20 dollars. The store is called 99 cents ONLY not and up ONLY . Everyone that shops here has no respect for themselves or others if you keep allowing them to lie. Demand a name change.if a store lies to you before you walk in what else are they lieing about that you dont know. Enjoy eating thatsafe food. I mean they wouldnt lie about the safety of thier food. Great deals never know what new deals your going to find. They have a good selection of beer & wines as well as produce, breads, canned goods, lunch meats, ice cream frozen foods etc.

Went in there today and got rung up by a rude cashier who said she’s the manager. I threw away my receipt too soon and didn’t get her name. She’s African American. There were 2 of them in there a younger one and an older one…. Maybe in her 40s. She was rude to the girl in front of me as well. The girl was buying a bunch of paper towels to donate to somewhere and asked for a cardboard box. The cashiers responded “I certainly don’t”. Very rude management.

The store and the staff are great! Just wish there was more variety of items 💜

The 99 cent store has most products you will need at a real good price. Sometimes your choices are slim but the products are still great.

Does not close at 9 i was at the store at 820 and it was closed stop saying you close at 9 i drove 25 min out of my to go to a store that was closed

I love the 99 cent store. I always find what I need. The only thing is they need more cashiers, but the people that are working and doing a great job.

The staff were so friendly and made me feel so welcome. The store was very clean and tidy. They had lots of stock and had items that I didnt even know to look for there, such as drain cleaning tools and doormats. Will definitely come again!

Its my first time visiting that particular store and that 99 cent store and I think its Fletcher Parkway Im not sure if its El Cajon or En La Mesa but the person who was grieving in the door really nice person very attentive the cashier oh my goodness honestly I was surprised of the customer service that they have very very amazing I have a very good experience I went today around 3:30 feb.17

Went today to get a refund or exchange because one of the item was not working I told one of the staff worker if can give me a exchange or the refund she told me let me see the receipt so I did she said is 8 days late and can not do anything I said is only a dollar what’s the problem she said because it came 8 days late I looked at her and gave it back to her and I said you keep it she said is not mine you paid for it I said is your now it come from your store so make sure everyone check your item and if doesn’t work bring it back the same day or the next or you lose a dollar or what ever price it is not everything is 99 cents very nasty attitude problem staff worker

I love the 99 cent store way better than Dollar tree has way more stuff I walked out of there with $180 worth of things I bought blackout drapes candy toys really good hair products that were probably too expensive to buy at the store they were originally at I love the 99 cent store they have these nice pots and pan sets but I had too much stuff as it is maybe the next trip if its still there LOL took Flat Auntie with me!

Deep discount store. Good place to shop if you are on a budget. The quality of some items is not that great. This 99 Cents store sells fresh produce. This is a great place to get inexpensive seasonal decorations. The day after a holiday all leftover holiday items are 75% off.

I love bargains. Went to buy coconut water for Margarita and found PURE EPSON SALT BODY CREAM by Blue Cross. I read magnesium is an essential nutrient and was looking for a supplement, but lavender oil and Epsom salt topically sounds like a wonderful way to get the mineral and get rid of summer dry skin at the same time!

This store is great! Has a great variety of things! Due to inflation, the store now does have things that are more than 99 cents, but usually they are higher quality items. Example is I bought a metal yoyo for $2 which runs on amazon for $10. If you are price conscious and want a good deal, this is your place

You can go here for all your needs. Workers are nice. the help u find shorter lines to check out, they are also helpful on the floor, you need anything just ask or they may ask you. I love this 99 cent, this is also where I do most of my shopping. The managers are really nice and friendly.

A great store for everything. You can get food, home decor, candy, soda, supplies for all kinds of things. Party stuff, kitchen stuff😉👍 You can make just about any occasion look its best on a dollar $$ budget.

Great for short trips, store is a little smaller than most the other 99 cents stores so its easy to peruse all the new items without getting lost in them. Be sure to check out the thrift store across the street too.

Got to the counter and was rung up for 6 items. Total was something like $7 and change. I was informed one of the items was $1.99.99 Cents Only Store shouldnt have anything over 99cents IMO.

I love this 99. I just wish there produce was a little better becuase it only last about 3-4 days. But overall its clean here, staff are nice for the most part. Some of the younger gurls are a little stuck up but overall i always love coming here best 99 in town.

Has all the good stuff you need for only $.99 but the check out line was long and they didnt even try to call to get any help up to the front to make our check out any faster

I bought a shaker for my whey protein and I bought milk. I poured my milk into the shaker and it came out in chunks with a pungent sour smell. The expiration date said 2-28-18. Not only did I waste money on milk, I wasted my protein. If you buy anything refrigerated from them, check it a few times. You might end up getting sick from spoiled food

I like this $.99 store. I wish they carried for famous brands of food. Last year they sold Digorio pizza. That was great. But now it,s boring frozen foods.

So I just went there and bought milk. The exp date was good so I bought it. Got home, turns out the milk was bad, so I asked to return it and they refused. Ridiculous!!!

Didnt understand the cashier. She packaged all my heavy items in one bag. On my way out my oil fell from the bag and broke.

If I could give zero stars I would yesterday I bought dog food from them and it was EXPIRED before two months ago and I got two of them expired I will never go there again.
