If I can give this place a negative star I would. The manager is unknowledgeable about their products. We were sold a plan that was not compatible with the current phone I had. The manager didnt tell us that our phone was not in the list of eligible devices. We were talking to an associate and were asking the associate questions but the manager kept interjecting and was rudely answering while she was helping another customer. How about she focus on that customer and stop attacking us with her attitude. She should be fired and this location closed down. They are unwelcoming and unfriendly.

The Cricket store in El Cajon, California is using bad business tactics.On Sunday, Oct.11 the sales representative at the Lemon Grove, California store was very helpful and directed me to the El Cajon store off of Broadway St. to purchase an iPhone XR for $399.00 because the Lemon Grove store was out of stock and I am due for a phone upgrade. After driving across 2 cities all the way to the El Cajon store and excited to get my new phone the woman working the store told me that she has the phone in stock but cannot sell it to me because her manger informed her that those iPhone XR are to lure new customers.I have never had a problem with Cricket and have been a long time happy customer with Cricket since Cricket was established. This type of business puts a bad taste in my mouth.There is no reason why I could not have purchased an iPhone XR on Sunday, Oct. 11.I am now stuck without my own phone and had to make my daughter give me her phone for temporary use. All due to bad business strategies that do not align with how Cricket operates. Shame on the El Cajon store for running a shady business!!! According to Cricket customers service, this offer is available to any new or existing customer eligible for an upgrade.

After this review was posted I was contacted by @cricketsupport on Twitter and they were able to credit the overcharges to my account.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I mistakenly went to this Cricket Authorized Reseller on 8/25 and got charged an extra $32 for the same phone and service I purchased for my wife the week prior at a corp owned Cricket store (8/16). That prior transaction charged $165.87 for the iPhone 6s deal with number port discount. This authorized cricket reseller store charged $197.80 for the same transaction. Thats quite a bit of extra profit coming out of our pockets. I asked why it was so different that my previous transaction while there, they provided a nonsensical explanation referencing thats what it costs multiple times. I should have walked out right then and not paid for it.This Cricket Store at 941 Broadway charged extra $10 for the Sim that comes with the phone that the other Cricket Corp store said they do NOT charge for a sim when you purchase the phone from them, the corp store also only charged tax on $100, the cost of the phone. The 941 Broadway El Cajon store charged tax on $400I called Cricket Customer support and they were no help. They said the only thing that can be done is to call the cricket authorized seller again. I called them back twice now. So now the store at 941 Broadway is telling me I can return the phone but they do not refund the $25 activation fee, the $30 service fee and my phone number is already ported in so I cannot get the discount on another phone from Cricket. You just cannot make up stuff like this.Buyer Beware, I am not sure if the problem is only with the Authorized Resellers but it now seems prudent to only deal with the Cricket Corporate stores of which there are only three around the San Diego area. When I called those stores that total would have been the $165 price.All the rest appear to be independent retailers that seem to be able to charge you what ever they want and there is no recourse for us but toreview their pricing practice everywhere you can.The receipt calls out whom I guess actually owns the store:SpaceTel LLC El Cajon
