When the 4th, male, customer asked him where my car was, he asked to look at my paperwork again. Then he brought my car.If it wasnt for that customer who insisted he help me first, I may have been there all day.

I was referred to see Eliseo Navarrete by a mutual friend after I had experienced nothing but terrible service at Toyota of San Diego. I can honestly say Eliseo is probably the best service manager of any dealership I have ever been to, regardless of the car I’ve owned. Within 52 minutes he was able to work his magic and get approval to replace a defective windshield on my brand new 2021 Camry. Naturally a little luck was involved to have all the right people present but he still busted his butt to make all the pieces fall into place to get me the help I needed. I just bought a Sequoia at Toyota of El Cajon. This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Spencer was my sales person Eli was my finance guy and Paul was the manager who helped me sort out a few details. I wanted to Sequoia for such a long time but like a lot of people dread going to the car dealership. I was in and out including paperwork keys in hand in just under two hours. My car was in great shape they were fair and so easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Toyota of El Cajon to my friends and family.

Service was easy to schedule and staff got me set up right away. Timeline of completion was right on point. Lastly, you just can’t beat the price of free.

It was almost perfect. The only difficulty was not having a part on hand to complete a minor repair. That can be taken care of later as it isnt critical. Otherwise an excellent service.

The place is large, clean and well placed. Convenient location and knowledgeable staff. You cant go wrong here. No they dont give you a courtesy wash even if they have your car for a week!

If you have credit, get an OUT-of-house financing quote from your credit union or bank FIRST, or even from an online financing.... DONT end up paying $7,000 for financing on your first used certified car (2018 V4 camry, 24k miles) that ends up after the included service fee up to 100K miles and car theft prevention 🚗 tracking system to be $41K in total. I know, super high🤦🏽‍♂️🙄💸, shouldve just got a new 2021 model instead for this price.💰😎✌🏽

Great experience.. Had appointment at 03:00pm for complete car maintenance, car was taken at 03:05pm, then was helped by Elijah Alvarez at the front desk, great gentleman, explain everything in details, willing to listen and answer questions, was friendly and smiling most of the time.. I was supposed to wait around 1 hour but the car was done in about 40 minutes.. highly recommend Toyota El Cajon and I really appreciate Elijah’s time and help, he made the process very Easy..

Customer service is great just car service takes a long time. 3 hours for an oil change is pretty long. But customer service from Advisor was awesome.

I must say my experience at this Toyota dealership with Victor was amazing. Not only was he super easy to talk to and friendly he was also extremely informative and honest. He didnt push me into getting anything on my car that I didnt want like most salesmen. He understood exactly what I wanted and worked with me completely. It was better this time than the way the dealer had treated me last December.D Welty, the assistant service manager who took care of me, patiently explained my concerns. He even used Google Translate to translate my first language, Japanese, for me. This was a new experience for me as I have never been here before.It is true that translation software does not translate 100% perfectly. I know that. But being able to have my concerns answered in my native language is one of the reasons why I trust the dealership.He gave me his best effort.The only thing I can say is that he wears a mask, so I cannot see his facial expression.I am sure he is very nice when he smiles. I hope he smiles to his customers sometimes even when he is wearing a mask.I gave it four stars to remember to smile at him next time.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Was in a bind on a Sunday evening when my car suddenly malfunctioned after getting the oil changed at an instant oil place. I called the team 1 hour before closing. They squeezed me in. Immediately looked at my car and had it fixed. They were so compassionate, knowledgeable and absolutely stellar. Definitely highly recommend and am thankful for their kindness.

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. Toyota of El Cajon does an excellent at up charging you for parts. I was told it was going to cost $2500 for a new center console screen(not including the labor). When I went I did my own research online, I found the same part for $200 online. Do your own research before getting scammed. Their service department is huge scam, stay away!

Eliso is absolutely amazing to work with. Always accountable and able to make accommodations to service my vehicles. He is timely and organized, not to mention always picks up the phone, if not calls back within a few short minutes. Looking forward to, hopefully, never have to come back to this dealership after I complete my Toyota Care. Im not exaggerating when I say every time Ive been here for the included service Ive waited over 2 hours (this visit is over 2 hr. 30 min. and counting while I still sit here). Take your car to a local shop for regular maintenance to avoid the extended wait times. Even at a cost of $0 for service, I feel I should have paid to go somewhere else and had my time back.

Gabriel found my tire pressure problem immediately and picked the correct tires for my car. Dylan initially quoted a 2 1/2 hour wait, but it actually took 90 minutes. Installed and balanced!

My experience here was terrible. Came in to see how much they would give me for my truck. My truck was over 9k positive market value. I get that the dealers will never give you what its actually worth. However, the sales guy and finance guy said I was negative 5k. Which is insane, they were trying to make 13k off my truck. Not to mention the $5000 mark up price on the vehicle. Lastly, my credit is close to the 800s, not the best but its decent. The lowest APR they kept trying to offer me was 4.99%... knowing toyota offers 0%. I think they thought I was vulnerable because I was polite. Go elsewhere.

I drove to El Cajon from L.A to test drive a 4runner I liked that was priced right. I took the wrong turn and ended up at this dealership on accident and as I was making a U turn to leave I fell in love with another 4runner at Toyota of El Cajon. These guys gave me an offer I literally could not refuse and even took my beater Camry as a trade in and gave me alot more than I expected. The staff here was top notch to me.

I bought a car from this dealership the first day said they had it in stock when i payed and did the paperwork they said wait till tomorrow for it to arrive tomorrow came and said we dont have it yet we will call you so i wait another day and did not get a call from them till i gave them a call and they told me we dont have the car that you want but we do have different color and i want what i i payed for i told them that you said that that you had it in stock so it should be ready and they said if the car has problems or something wrong give us a call we will come to you because the car has warranty and i called them and they said try to bring it here to us so i go there and they say that they are all full you would have to come tommorow i dont have time to go back and forth to the dealership if it has a warranty they should be able to bring someone to me i waited on the side of the road till some kind civilian let me use his air pump

We had a great experience with this dealership. We were looking for a specific model of a specific vehicle that turns out to be in extremely short supply, across the country. We decided to just wait to try again in 6 months to a year. When they sent us a post-contact email that had an error in it, I left their GM a voicemail to point it out. They then bent over backwards to find us the vehicle we wanted, gave us a very good deal on it, and gave us an excellent deal on our trade-in. No up-sells. No BS. Kudos to Adel El Hendy and Simeon Okosun for making this such a pleasant experience.

I really appreciated that Taylor M. didnt upsell me on any services that I needed. I told him I wasnt ready to spend that amount of money and he was totally ok with that. He was very nice and got me in and out. He recommended I get my tires alignment done during the visit and how much it would be. I was told a certain time to come back to pick up my car and that Taylor would text me when my car was ready. I came back at the promised time and my car wasnt ready but he personally went back to the shop to see what was taking so long. When he came back he had told me it was almost done.

I took my car in for an oil change. Taylor was very polite and nice. The only bad thing was that I was told it would take 1 1/2 hours even with an appointment but it took 3 hours so that was very inconvenient.

This review is for the service department. The only reason it’s not 1 star is because of Eddie - he saved the day!!!! Thanks Eddie.I made an appointment and dropped off my car off on Friday with James for service. He said it would be ready by the next day at noon. Noon came and went, I called around 3 and after waiting on hold for a while I was told James was not in. I then tried to get someone else on the phone in the service department which was very difficult, but finally got someone who said my car was ready. I walk over to Toyota (20 min) and they said “your car is ready, any questions?” I asked how the repairs went and when they looked through my file, they told me - oh actually your car needs more repair, you need to leave it overnight again. And the rental cars aren’t open on Saturdays so I had to walk home and do all my errands on foot. They should have called me and told me about the additional repairs so I didn’t waste my time coming in.I called again Sunday and was told that James still wasn’t in and that he handles my account. I had to make a fuss to find out why my car wasn’t being worked on yet and when it would be. It’s hard to get anyone on the phone. FINALLY Eddie took over my account and got the repairs done. I’m just very annoyed that I received zero communication from Toyota, every time I wanted an update I had to call and wait on hold, which always ended at someone’s voicemail. I definitely felt at the bottom of their priority list, and would not return again. If an employee calls out for 3 days in a row, their accounts should obviously be passed on to someone else.

Your service-writer was pleasant and knowledgeable. Future service was explained and prioritized for my convenience. My vehicle was ready when promised. Interestingly, I was directed to where my vehicle was parked out back instead of it being returned to the reception area.

I had originally gone to Subaru of El Cajon across the street and they were about to have me sign the papers for the car when after 3 hour they told me that I needed a co signer because my company is contracted. Went to Toyota right after & my company being contracted wasn’t an issue, they were all very friendly and got me a good deal.

Just visited Toyota of El cajon was waited on by salesman by the name of Fernando to.We went through doing paperwork and he passed on to finance department to a employee by the name of Carlos had us waiting for an hour. He came out asked a few things and then we waited for an hour no Carlos telling us anything I think this was very bad customer service. It took another employee to asked us had we been help I guess he seen that we had been sitting there for a while. Again that was the customer service I have ever experienced

Went in looking for a Tacoma 4x4 off-road. Leo was the associate who helped me. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the trim that I wanted but they kept me posted on any upcoming trucks. Leo kept me updated the whole 3 months I was waiting until I got a random picture message of a truck and sure enough it was mine. Ran in to lock in the purchase. The entire sales experience was positive. I would definitely recommend heading over to El Cajon Toyota if you are in the market for anything Toyota.
