Ricky and everyone I encountered at the shop was super polite from the first time I called worked with me on the price to get my Equinox back on the road as quickly as possible Ricky even came in on his day off on a weekend for me to pick up my vehicle and it runs amazing, Ive never encountered more professional hardworking and polite people at a shop like this in a long time even gave me a Nationwide warranty with my transmission that unexpectedly quit now its worry free driving for quite a while into the future. Thank you Ricky and team at Aamco
Excellent place to take your vehicle. Even tho my vehicle warranty did not cover and I had to pull out from getting service I was treated with respect and understanding and was advised on other ways to get my car done. The young lady at the desk was very professional and kind and i thank her very much.
This was my first service at Aamco and to my surprise I walked in and found a mechanic that I had used several times in the past!! Ricky has always been very professional, honest and performed quality work on not only my cars but other family members as well. I am very happy with the service and the price was fair. Thank you
First of all they are beyond cheap and they are constantly doing deals. The people are straight up with you and make sure to tell you exactly what you need done with the car the front desk lady Adrian i believe it was is mad cheerful and informative so you always know the deals and what’s what. They allow payment plans if you can’t pay which is great because now you don’t have to drive a beat up car you can automatically get it fixed and without stressing. Definitely gotta go get my tune up soon but other than that great service.
Everyone was awesome. They very nice and take the time to make you welcome. The technician was help in diagnosing the problems without any issues and working with the time line I needed. He helped find the best price for what I was looking to do.Ill definitely be back when I have any issues in the future.
True professionals, extremely helpful and perform quality work. I thought I had problem with timing chain on my car. Though check engine codes reflected timing chain issue. They are knowledgeable and started with Solenoids that needed to be replaced. Check engine light was gone and car runs normal again. Thank you for your service.
Experienced, integrity, trustworthy, professional, skilled, are just a few of the adjectives that describes Zee and his team of automobile technicians. My car currently has 250,000 miles and stills runs smoothly, thanks to the team, who I can always trust to care for my car like they would their own.
I have always had an awesome experience with all the staff here from the receptionist keep me in the loop on whats going on with my vehicle and the mechanic and tech keeping it real they didnt feed me any bs and try to get me to buy services i didnt really need tbey keep my repairs in budget and done in a very timely manor
I was very impressed when our son who is in college found them online located in Easton Pa. Ricky is exceptionally well versed in automotive maintenance and repair. He was very honest and above board with our son which we appreciate. Since he treated our son so well, I decided to try them also. When I called to ask to get a “ flush” on the car to compare prices, he said I didn’t need it until 60,000 miles whereas another garage wanted to do the “ flush” at 42,000 miles. The service was stellar, the appointment was easy to make and they had my car finished within 2 hours of drop off with an immediate call to come pick it up. No waiting / no wondering. Scott was helpful especially on his very first day! The owner was kind and I will definitely return to AAMCO of Easton . Thank you for your excellent service.
The guys and lovely lady were very courteous and the mechanicMade a point to explain his work on my BMW THEY GO IN MY ROLEDEX
Myfirst time here and it was a great experience they were very professional and I would highly recommend to use their services
I’ve done work with Ricky plenty of times on several cars, great service. This time it took a little while longer for my service to be done but due to Covid and the weather it made sense. They even gave me a ride back home when I dropped off my car!. Very professional and sweet receptionist this time around. Will be bringing my sons car in next week..
Not happy I should of been told how much. For. Trans fluid change and oil change. 200 bucks way too much not only u lost me as a customer but u lost fleet of people. Look forward contacting aamco and better business bureau.....u barely deserve one star
Great experience soo far. Getting a engine replacement on a mustang GT. Theyve been nothing but open and insightful!
I go to this place for my car and always get the car looking better with great service and fair pricing. Would recommend to get your car checked.
No help just a bunch of ppl hanging out
Very professional and honest, they have gained a lifelong customer in me
Great customer service.....honest and trustworthy staff....quality and reliable repairs and services......your local business.......one stop shop for all your vehicle needs.....only Aamco Transmissions in the entire Lehigh Valley Area.....your dealership alternative with nationwide warranties.......with multiple financing options available to meet your needs.......
Thank you AAMCO Easton! Thank you to Z and all of his staff! I was told by a car dealership that I needed a new transmission at a cost of $5800. My car only has 47,000 miles on it and it also has a transmission recall. The car dealership said my problem was not covered and refused to repair the car under the recall warranty. I took my car to Z and he was able to do all of the repairs for FREE under the recall warranty! It was very refreshing to witness the honesty, compassion and commitment to resolving my issues. I am very grateful that I called Z! Thank you, sir. I appreciate you and your entire staff. Best wishes...
Worst transmission place they had my transmission there 7 times for same problem and each time they told me it was fixed and it only made it 20 miles or less and same problem transmission slipped out of gearI would not recommend this place and even after they told me they put another transmission in they lies I have to scrap vehicle
I took my 2015 Chevy Equinox to the dealer I purchased it from and they were going to charge me $6,700 to rebuild my transmission. I brought it to Aamco and it’s the best thing I did, they charged me $3,800 and gave me good warranty. My car was ready when they said it would be and I am back on the road, my truck runs smooth!!! Their service was amazing, thank you Z and Ricky!!
I would like to thank Aamco Transmition for allowing me to finance my repairs on my vehicle without a background check thank you guys you did a great job
About 2 months ago I took my 2015 Subaru Outback to the dealer when my transmission started slipping. The estimate to replace my transmission was $4850. I decided to get a second opinion and estimate and took my vehicle to Aamco on William Penn Hwy in Easton. They saved me almost $3000!! They repaired my original transmission and its working great!! They also gave me a one year warranty. I am so glad I made the decision to get another opinion. The time it took to repair the vehicle was exactly what they said it would be and the quality of work is great. It has been exactly 1 month since I got my baby back and she is working great! Thank you Aamco!! I will forever be grateful and refer you to everyone I know!
I always take my cars here for state inspection. They always make the mandatory suggestions, but never push anything on me that has nothing to do with passing inspection. Just a verbal suggestion and they have it printed on the invoice for a reminder. I’m always treated nice and respected unlike other shops I’ve gone to in the area.
Highly recommended!! Excellent customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable. My car completely broke down on me. The transmission failed. I couldnt afford repairs at the dealership, so the car sat for a few months. I contacted Aamco, the guys are all very friendly & helpful. The prices are very fair! I had my transmission repaired here for substantially less then the dealership with a warranty. The car now runs good as new!! My air conditioning was also running warm even after I recharged it with a diy kit. So I had my air conditioner serviced at Aamco too. Its now SUPER cold and cools down fast. They also serviced my brakes. All at a very reasonable price. I felt like a valued customer. Im very happy with the service here. Thank you so much Easton Aamco!!
Their service has been wonderful ever since I have been going there. Last summer they replaced the transmission because the original was damaged to the point of not functioning. This year, they have done the PA Inspection, and recently they have replaced both rear spindle rods along with both side bolts; they also have done the wheel alignment. They use manufacturers parts, and not the sub-standard kind that you can get from a cheap mechanic. I am very happy with their service!! In my experiences, they have treated me wonderfully. They have provided me with a ride to and from their place so I didnt have to wait for the work to be done. They have honesty and integrity. Thank you Kevin and company, you guys are the best in town!!!
I had my car towed to AAMCO after it breaking down on me in middle the night. I had no forward (drive) gear, only reverse. When they got around to diagnosing it they told me it was mechanical problem that it needed a new transmission. They told me that they had access to a certified pre-owned one and that the cost, after all incidentals (removal, rebuild, installation, and programming) would be $3,050. I went ahead and approved the work and managed to get the money together. Upon going to pick the car up and looking at the paper work, I was not advised, but read, that the pre-owned transmission they got was defective upon arrival, so they rebuilt my transmission. ( Not that it is a major concern, but the information on the paperwork also listed that I had forward gear only, and not reverse gear when the issue first presented itself). After coming in for the advised 10 day transmission check, I told them that there is a loud and a lighter rattling noise coming from the engine area. The light rattle noise was determined to be a shield that somebody forgot to attach properly, and the loud a rattling noise is part of my exhaust. The exhaust WAS NOT making this sound before I had the transmission worked on, and is very loud now (I could hardly tell it was running before it was so quiet) l. They insisted that there is no way that they had touched the exhaust, even though it was a mere 3 from where the shield was left unsecured and even closer to other transmission components. Upon advisement from 2 other shops, it is highly likely that AAMCO caused the damage to the exhaust. They also told me at the 10 day transmission check up, that there is an issue with my rear anti lock brakes. I asked if they worked on them, they advised me that they did, and I asked them how much would be to fix. They said they would get all the information together about parts and labor and they would contact me later about the cost. They have never done so, and that was approximately a week ago. I am concerned about the over all reliability of the rebuilt transmission, but only time will tell. I have a feeling that if there is an issue, it will be slightly after the 12k mile/12 month warranty is up.
7/4/18. Problem with my steering seems to have auto resolved. Kevin was very responsive in calling me and asking me to bring my vehicle back in to double check for additional problems which shows they care a lot about their work. I will be taking my vehicle back in an excess of caution to make sure my car really is completely okay. My transmission appears to be working fine and I have no concerns there.I had my transmission replaced here for a remanufactured one with a 3 year unlimited miles warranty. The car is working; however, my steering wheel column locks up intermittently for no apparent reason when I am turning. It feels almost as if the wheel wants to yank itself from my hands. I never had this problem on my vehicle before and I bought it used and drove it over 40,000 miles. There does appear to be a recall on some models of my Ford Escape for this problem; however, I checked my VIN number and there is no recall on my vehicle. I can only conclude that my issue is the result of the service I received here. This is very concerning as Ive hardly been able to work for the last 10 days and I hope I wont have to miss any more work days while my vehicle is worked on. I will be in touch with them this morning and update this thread based on my experience.
Kevin and his team are excellent. I recently had a transmission replaced and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. They explained everything in detail and provided options to meet my needs. The service was timely. I have been driving the car for 2 months since the service and the car is running great. I would highly recommend them.
Have a nice experience whenever I go to this Aamco. Good location with ample parking. They want your business so they have decent prices, just used the $35 coupon for inspection. No problems yet!
AAMCO Easton Stands Among The Best You Can Get In Auto Repair! They will diagnose and fix the problem; explain the repair and cost in detail, and give you the best options for your repair. No pressure, no sales hype or baloney there. They do whats best for you and are very competitive when pricing your repair!
They try to use scare tactics to get you to spend money. Went there for a transmission filter and fluid change. All of a sudden he is quoting me for 3000 bucks cause I need a new transmission and everything else with the truck. Guess what. Didnt need the new transmission. Plus he quoted all these things that were wrong and when I went to do the work. Their was a major safety issue that they never even checked. Sway bar end link missing a bushing. They made it seem like they went over the whole truck but they never even took the driver side tire off, or it would have been staring them right in the face. Very upset and disappointed with the service here. Luckily I moved across the country cause Ill never go back.
Ricky was very attentive and did a great job.
Thia guy is a wrip off will tell you that you need more done than whats necessary to charge you more money!!! Technicians also do very poor work!!!
Diagnostics are too long and not reliable. My car has engine light on and they changed all the coils. It costs me two grands and the engine light came back on again after 1 month. AAMCO didnt admit they were wrong. Instead, they wanted to change catalytic converter and oxygen sensor. Another two grands. I refused and brought it to the original dealer and they just reset it. I am not even talking about diagnostics are overpriced. No more AAMCO for life.
Great experience! Workers are friendly and kind. Affordable prices! Quick service!
The guys were great. Very knowledgeable. Service took a little bit longer than I expected but other than that it was great
Transmission done on my Honda 2 years ago, running good. Ill recommend them to everyone. Great customer service, honest and reliable automotive repair shop!
WE TAKE OUR DODGE CALIBER IN FOR HESITATING AT LOW SPEED. THEY SAY WE NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION. THEY GIVE ME A QUOTE FOR $6900.00 PLUS TAX!! I I CALL THE DEALERSHIP FOR A SECOND QUOTE, AND THE DEALERSHIP SAYS IT WILL COST $3300.00+ TAX. I TELL AAMCO THIS AND THEY CHANGE THE ORIGINAL QUOTE TO $3600.00!!THIS IS A WEEK AFTER THE SAME AAMCO TELLS ME I NEED TO SPEND $750.00 FOR NEW STRUTS ON MY HYUNDAI. (I HAD NEW STRUTS INSTALLED 3 WEEKS BEFORE) WHEN I TOLD THE MECHANIC THE STRUTS WERE ALREADY NEW, HE ADMITTED THAT HE DID NOT ACTUALLY LOOK AT THEM, HE JUST THOUGHT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. (BUT THAT DID NOT STOP THEM FROM GIVING ME A COST ESTIMATE TO HAVE THE WORK PERFORMED.)UPDATE!!!!!!!THE DODGE DEALERSHIP HAS INFORMED US THAT WE DO NOT NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION!! WE NEED A TUNE-UP.We had it done for $214.00 and car is perfect. These guys are the worst.
Call ahead make your appt. Drop off vehicle or wait and your services are rendered as promised.
5 stars, transmission in my vehicle went bad, called several different transmission repair shops in the area and after comparing all prices i choose Aamco in easton for transmission repair, they gave me different options to fix the issue but also even help me get 12 months interest free financing for this expansive repair, also got $200 mail in rebate on top of that, cant beat that, will recommend them to everyone, oh also warranty was nationwide, thanks guys. 2 thumbs up, keep up the good work,
Took my vehicle to Aamco for state inspection. Received the coupon in the mail. My car failed safety inspection for front brakes and rotors and one lic plate was out. They gave me a great deal on price. And while I waited for little over an hour left there with both of my state stickers on. They also took me out to show me what else me vehicle needed in the near future. Over all a great experience. Definitely wiĺ return in the future for my vehicle future needs. Thanks Kevin
Very professional and in time service
My experiences with AAMCO in Easton has always been pleasant. I appreciate the personal touch and the professional service. I come back to this shop for a reason--because I feel that i can trust them !!
The staff was great, got my car in fast and the work was done for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here. They have done alot of work over the last 2 years from air conditioning, brakes, tires to tune up and transmission maintenence. Ill continue coming here.
A lot of these reviews with 4 or 5 stars are fake. Take away the fake reviews and you have a two star business.I had Aamco install two transmissions in my car, none of them were any good. They want you to bring the car back several times to aggravate you before they get their so called expert to drive it. They told me my motor mounts were bad not the transmission. To take away their argument I replaced all the motor mounts and the car still didnt shift right. They replaced the second transmission with another pc of junk. I complained and they said my axle was bad, that’s where I drew the line. They returned my car to me with the steering wheel out of alignment. You would think the Cracker Jack mechanics would have noticed it when they test drove it. Please listen to me, stay away from this business. Friendly up front until they get your money. Kevin don’t bother responding you know it’s all true.Response to Kevin, the mounting bracket you replaced for free was due to the damaged threads. Your skilled mechanics stripped the threads out.I declined to take my car to another Aamco service center but offered to take it to a neutral party for their opinion, you declined. The axle was fine on my car, I had it checked out. You refuse to accept the fact that you are buying bad used transmissions. The second transmission shook my whole car and steering wheel. NEVER do business with this garage. These people will drive you crazy with their shenanigans.
My experience was very nice. Been coming here for years. Good mechanics, trustworthy management, and excellent customer service.
In mid November 2018 I took my 01 Toyota Celica to Aamco in Easton PA.Wanted a clutch replacement for my stick shift Celica. I included new axles, new flywheel, and new trans mount; all wouldve been removed in doing clutch job anyway. Then also inspection/emission.Wow! A+ in car (and customer) service. This 2001 feels like it can outlast certain brands of new vehicles!!
Terrible customer service
My 99 Honda Passport had AC problem issues, they diagnose condenser leak. The original part was not available with Honda or Isuzu. Aamco of Easton went out their way got the part from a dealer and found it not fitting. The technician modified the part for perfect fit. My AC started working even better than when I got my car. I have been going to this place for few years for maintenance, service and inspection of my cars. I found them honest, highly efficient and courteous. Highly recommend their service.
Before you pay they treat you as best they can after you pay and things are not done right and you come back to them. they give the round and around so sad.
So far so good with the transmission change on my chevy malibu. I kept it maintained as much as I can but I guess at 176000 miles what do you expect.. got the 2 year nationwide warranty which was a little extra but now I dont have to worry about it for a while and its at all aamcos. Kevin was good in explaining what went wrong and answered all my questions. took just a little longer than I thought, could have been faster
If I would give them a ZERO I could! After getting a transmission from another company, AAMCO was supposed to make sure the transmission was good than install it into my car. I didnt even have my car for 6HOURS and my transmission started making noise! I called Kevin and told him, drove it down there this morning, and he told me he didnt hear the noise yesterday when he test drove it. I said well clearly you didnt take it out of 2nd gear then! so he drove it, came back and told me the pump on the transmission was bad, BUT it was safe to drive, and i would be perfectly fine driving it for now, despite the horrible noise coming from it. In the mean time I was able to get a replacement of the transmission for free, but when I told him he needed to change it out because he CLEARLY did not check the entire transmission before putting it in he told me I would have to pay him full labor cost AGAIN! Meanwhile, 2 hours later after he assured me my car was safe, while my daughter was in the car I hear a loud pop and the car completely breaks down, barley getting us out of the middle of the road! I call Kevin and explain what happened and he explains to me that it was not his problem! That its not HIS job to check the transmission before he puts it in, or after. When I asked him why the check engine light did not come back on, he then admits telling me that he had reset my check engine light so it would go off, after already knowing that there was something clearly wrong with the transmission he had put into my car. I will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE! He never informed us that they do not provide a labor warranty, he has totally screwed us over after paying him $1,110 in LABOR!
I will recommend any of you car service to be done by the experience staff at AAMCO, the costumer service is excellent from delivery to pick up. Five star service.
Im always skeptical of auto repair shops. Ive taken my car to Aamco in Easton twice now. Very easy to work with, and they do quality work. I had long tube headers and a H-pipe installed. Due to other parts supplier sending wrong parts Aamco could not install said parts. They were very patient and understanding while I went to battle with the parts store. They held my car in the bay for a week without charging me a single $$ more. Most shops wouldnt do this. They treated me good, and have in return earned a lifelong customer.
Absolute nightmare. They installed a radiator, less then 600 miles later the main hose came off and left me stranded on I95. They did have it tower and put hose back on. A month later the head gasket fails, the dealership said it is due to overheating but aamco denies all responsibility. I just got off phone with my attorney who said my case is solid as a rock and I also have dealership technicians to testify and will be filing a large lawsuit
6/11/14 My husband and i carried my Jeep to get repaired it had a sensor and transmission issues .We carried it in Saturday May 31st and have been getting the run around since then no one returns calls it took them over a week to diagnose the problem and it was suppose to be done yesterday. Now their telling us theres a back right sensor problem which we have already paid to get fixed hes acting like its a new problem, i can see whats coming next. MORE MONEY FOR SOMETHING WE ALREADY PAID FOR. I need to start recording the conversations because its a new lie everyday. Were already in $1900 that we dont have paid half already and i have a twisted ankle which i told them on the phone today cause i was suppose to have my jeep back since yesterday. I still dont have my Jeep and cant get to a Doctor with three little children. I am defiantly not happy with this place im going on better business bureau next and reporting them.
My customer service experience was great today. Professional, time effective, and thorough. I would go back again. Thanks Kevin!
Felt ripped of from the moment I walked through the door. Every phone call was more money. After 2 weeks and $5300.00 later we drove the car less than 20 miles and the transmission slipped. They also messed up my husbands hands free phone equipment that WAS working before this place got ahold of it. I guess Ill be without a car again because this place is in no hurry to do things. Would like to take it to another AAMCO but its typed in you have to go back to them. What a rip off Go to another AAMCO. Maybe one that has a business phone and not a cell phone. Will follow up on how long it takes them this time..
Excellent service. Good pricing qualified technicians, highly recommend. A+
I make apply for no interest and fix my car - battery - light an shifter with bad noises. car no sound bad no more, very very good man
The work done is top-notch and the service is excellent. These guys are the best and deserve way more than five stars!!
This is an update to my previous review that Ill admit was a bit premature. I had some issues with my SUV after I had some work done at AAMCO. As soon as the owners became aware of the problem they contacted me very quickly and within a few days the issue was resolved. Thanks Kevin.
Relatively quick service, extremely friendly technicians and customer service reps; definitely instilled confidence that they would take care of me.
Excellent job. Great customer service! Will continue to do business with.
If you want someone to rebuild your trans (or any other work) go anywhere but here.I took it here because my transmission spray a leak dumping all of its fluid on the road while going up jug town mountain on rt 78. (In other words it completely roasted its self) A lot of my friends had good experiences here and I liked the aamco warranty. I later found that they all except for 1 took their vehicles here before the current owner bought the place. (And that one just took their car here for oil changes which may be the only thing they can do right)To keep this short Ill just post a nutshell overview of my nightmare. Took aamco Easton 6 months to rebuild my transmission (in that 6 months they had it on and off for a total time of 4.5 months and longest time I had the vehicle without an issue was 3 days) Because of this I nearly lost my job also. (I only own 1 vehicle)After receiving my truck back I found parts missing, wires cut. (They did work in the engine control module) and they wanted to charge me thousands of dollars on top of the over 2500 I already paid them to fix what they broke. When I mentioned things like the instrument pannel not lighting up, fuel gauge not working and headlights not working (all of which worked just fine for the 2 years previous I owned the truck) the first words out of their mouth was We didnt cut any wires its an old ambulance they where all cut before you brought it to us than proceed to tell me the estimate to fix all that. Again I never mentioned the wires where cut I just mentioned they where no longer working because I thought their mechanic forgot to plug something back in again or knocked something loose when doing the transmission or ECM work because I found my air filter, and other various important parts to the engine not bolted back in properly after getting it back from them once before. One of them was my radiator coolent tank and it even sprung a small leak because it was bouncing around in the engine compartment and the hose got nicked by something.Well I took it to anouther mechanic and every wire going to those items I mentioned above where cuts (the fuel gauge was pulled out of the plug in the back of the instrument panel) Also the other mechanic found I had missing parts which I paid a 3rd mechanic to replace only months before taking it to aamco Easton. (I inspect all the work done on my vehicle and would of notice that something I paid for was missing and these parts where not hard to miss. They also found that they dropped the transmission and broke the arm holding the cable to my parking break then they tried to fix it with a zip tie. They also never bolted my intercooler lines to my transmission back in and left them resting on the tie rods (which slide back the forth as you steer) So if they didnt catch that my transmission would of sprung another leak dumping all of its fluid on the road again probably roasting its self again. (The bracket and bolts related to the bracket where all missing)This is just the tip of the iceberg. Take your vehicle someplace that cares more about the job they do then how deep they can reach in your wallet.
Fast service. Good prices
Very honest with the repair to my escalade kevin was very helpful would defiantly recommend to others very fair
Three words DO NOT GO first of all they charge me 100 dollars to tell me what was wrong with the transmission but when i got there they had no answers at all and said they would have to charge me 500 dollars because they would have to pull the tranny out. Then I ask what was the 100 dollars for and he just ignored me,after reading other reviews I went back to the shop and told them just give me my car back before they could pull the tranny and they gave me my car back but not after getting a free 100 dollars but this the good part someone else that work there called me on a blocked number and said I think you just need a head unit, let me call around and ill give you a price then called me back with a unknown number and quoted me 1600 and mind you all of a sudden they know whats wrong with the car without removing the tranny. YOU BEEN WARNED
I was traveling from FL to MA about 2 weeks ago. I have some relatives in Easton PA and so I stopped over to spend a night and catch up with my cousins. My 99 Suburban never had any issues in the past but while I was traveling I noticed that it was pulling to the right side too much so I thought I should get it checked out before I leave for Mass. I went to Easton Aamco and these guys were great and they took care of the problem real quick. Since I was in a hurry and didnt have all day to wait for the work to be done but they not only finished the truck on time but they also gave me FREE complete inspection and did an amazing job overall. I got my Front End Bushes and end rods done and also Oil Change and Transmission inspection with all Fluids changed. Great Job guys. Thanks for the help.If you live in the area this is the place to go if you have any car trouble. Friendly staff and quick service.
Had my breaks done. Awesome service,Very friendly, Great price!
Good service, professional, courteous and they matched an offer from a competitor to maintain my business.
My experience was transmission was fixed properly. It took longer then expected.
Fixed my transmission problems and let me know in detail everything that needed to be done. Customer service was great.
Great service, great people -particularly Kevin
As of today(02/06/2014), AAMCO HAS FAILED, ONCE AGAIN(4th try) TO CORRECTLY FIX THE ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION........The car, once again, sits at Aamco in Easton with a useless transmission that to date I have paid Aamco close to $3000 to fix correctly. In May of 2013, I brought our 2003 Saab to Aamco Transmissions in Whitehall PA because the transmission was malfunctioning. The car would shift from 2nd to 5th gear(no other gears were available). Aamco diagnosed the problem and replaced the transmission with a 6 month/6,000 mile warranty. In September 2013, the transmission again began to malfunction with approximately 88,000 miles. I was told that although the transmission was still under warranty, the problem was an output speed sensor that was not covered under the warranty. I agreed to repair and $500+ later the car seemed to be driving fine. In November 2013, I again lost the lower gears and it cost me another $250. At this point, I have over $3000+ (including rental cars)invested in the transmission.I was just informed that the transmission that Aamco installed in May of 2013 was faulty and that it would cost me $4900 to fix the car correctly!! To add salt to the wound, they want to charge me for the tow bill to their facility.Basically, they continued to put bandages on a defective transmission until the warranty expired. At this point, I am completely out of patience with Aamco and wouldnt let them fix my bicycle. Avoid this business at all costs.John Evans
Friendly staff, quick service, and explained all the repairs thoroughly.
Horrible service. Kevin lied about pricing. Problem wasnt fix with my transmission
I had trouble with parts and mechanic...poor results but they paid for mistakes they made.
Great service. Honest and professional
Ricky is the best
Great service!
Just had the transmission rebuilt. Good work at a great price!!
Took my vehicle there to have the transmission checked and for inspection, They found other issues besides the transmission to pass inspection, Took it somewhere else and passed inspection no problems.
Very friendly, great customer service!
A little expensive but was done quickly .had work done early October.so far,so good .
Excellent, fast and professional service.
RIP off artists.
Great service
Good, prompt service.
