I truly appreciated the excellent customer service I received at this particular Mavis Discount Tire store (big shout out to Tom for his super friendly and personable demeanor – the kind of guy youd want to get a beer with!)They were incredibly busy when I first came by, so it did take a day for them to get to my vehicle. However, once they did, they were able to give me excellent advice on tires for my vehicle that saved me money, and they also identified an issue with my vehicles suspension that my normal dealership had missed when inspecting it a week prior. Ive since had the issue confirmed by a separate mechanic and plan on taking my vehicle back here to be serviced as I was very impressed with their work ethic.

Their costumer service is superb. They communicate everything to you about the problems they encounter and inform you what need to be done before doing it and they are upfront with the cost. They also offer options.

I always go with Mavis, regardless of the few towns I’ve lived in ive always had really good experiences and really thoughtful service reps.

Tom gave a great deal for being in the service and the turn around time was extremely fast.

I normally have a pretty good experience here. But this time I dropped my car off to have one tire repaired. Turned out I needed to do all 4 tire sensors fine ok, even got a discount if $10 per tire. Spoke to them I was told my car would be fine by end of day. Mind you my car was dropped off the night b4 so my car was there ALL DAY. I called at 5 when I didnt hear anything knowing they was closing. No answer. No one called me... And I still dont have my car. And I have to be to work in the am. Needless to say Im not happy at all...

Great service and cheap and super friendly staff. Nino is super cool and a nice guy, I would recommended this place to everybody. Will come back next time

I went to Mavis yesterday with my granddaughter. She needed two new tires and an alignment. All went well until she paid the bill and it was $44.00 more than she was expecting. We checked the bill and saw that they put on new windshield wipers without consulting her. I returned today to clear things up. Everyone was very nice butTom went the extra mile and gave me cash from his pocket for the cost of the wipers! He said to tell my granddaughter it was a gift from him!! Now how very nice was that?! Goes to show there are still good people around. Thanks so much Tom. You’re a very special person.

They attended to my needs very quickly. Examined my tire. And ordered one to be installed . the tire came in the very next morning and they fit me into their schedule..Great and fast service. I love Mavis they always take good care of you. Always satisfied with their work on my car and any opinions or suggestions they may have about your car. Tires fine, other work STEER CLEAR!!! Mis-quoted on the price, and not even sure if the work was done correctly or at all, still having same rattling sounds. As a single woman I will not be going back there EVER.

Yesterday was my first visit to the Mavis Tire Center in Forks Twsp. My tire appeared to be having a slow leak and I suspected I would need a new one. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I did not need new tires. In a day when anyone could have said the opposite and sold me new tires based on my inexperience Mavis was HONEST!! Thank You! I will be back when I am in need of new tires.

The only issue I have is that they are always busy. But one worker told me its because like everyone else, they are short staffed. I had a hole in a tire and they plugged it at the second location I stopped at, without much of a wait. $24 is a little pricey, but I was in and out in 15 minutes once I found a location that was able to squeeze me in at the last minute. They do sell a wide range of brands, from cheap imports to Michelin and Bridgestone. I do need new tires soon, I have not decided if I will buy from Costco or Mavis.

Same day service on a holiday weekend. This place was packed and yet, they still made me feel like a priority customer. This is why i keep coming back time and time again. Big shout out to Tom and Nino

This wonderful young man name Seon helped me at the Sullivan trail location. I needed help with an unusual type of tire and they did a great job with it. I couldnt be more happy with the customer service. He was happy and really nice. Whats that old saying service with a smile well even with a mask I could tell he had his smile on. I never thought Id have a pleasant experience at a tire place but I actually did! Id definitely recommend them and I also plan on going back just because of the service.

I needed my right rear tire plugged they could not squeeze me in at the Forks Township store so they sent me to the Philipsburg store and I waited there for 45 minutes and then I left cuz I got tired of waiting!!! The reason for poor service??? Mavis tire centers are under staffed, and all are overworked, That means that customer service suffers. Be prepared to wait a long time!!! If they can get you in because theyre backed up!!! KNOX TIRES IS A QUARTER MILE DOWN THE ROAD ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE ON SULLIVAN TRAIL, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KNOX TIRES !! BETTER SERVICE, COMPETITIVE PRICES, NICE PEOPLE!! SO AT KNOX TIRE SERVICE I WOUND UP BUYING FOUR BRAND NEW TIRES THEY ORDERED THEM FIRST THING IN THE MORNING THEY WERE THERE BY 9:30 IN THE MORNING IN 20 MINUTES I HAD FOUR TIRES MOUNTED AND TODAY WHICH IS SEPTEMBER 30TH I NEEDED A BATTERY THEY ORDERED A BATTERY FOR ME IT CAME IN AT 12:30 10 MINUTES LATER I WAS OUT THE DOOR. THATS CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS WHO CARES.

If I could give a zero I would. My 25 year old daughter had an appointment for inspection at the Easton, PA location. A few days before she had brake problems and actually had it towed in. A few days later, around 7/31/21, Mavis contacted her and indicated the estimate was $2600 for brakes, rotors, calipers and shocks. Seemed extremely expensive. We paid someone to tow it out of Mavis to Scranton ($300 for the towing). The repairs for brakes, rotors and calipers plus inspection in Scranton was $623. Yes $2000 less than Mavis. It did not need shocks or struts. Mavis is absolutely horrible. Did they look at a25 year old female and take advantage or do they do this to everyone? I would not only not recommend, I will tell everyone I know to avoid Mavis.

6 and half hours, still not done putting tires on. They take more work than they can handle making customers wait longer, who cares if they are missing work, holding up others.

My husband went to this places to changed a tire with a hole, the other was ok the next day we figure with got that tire with the hole on the back ..... like really that way we had to buy another but never again .

First time using Mavis Discount Tire in Forks Township,PA for 4 new tires and alignment. I would Not use them again. Left car and was told it would take 2 hours, after 4 hours they call me with 40 minutes before closing and say they are just starting the job. I talked with them expressing concern about getting the job done in 40 minutes. Next time I will use Jack Williams Tires instead.

I called Mavis om a Sunday at 12 noon asking them if they could help me with my battery. I brought my car in, they checked things out. All I needed was a new battery. The staff was wonderful there specially Tom. Prices are competitive.

This is my second time getting tires at Mavis. We bought new tires for our daughters car about 7 months ago, great price. Bought new tires for our Acadia two weeks ago also great price. Sion helped us pick the right tires,, got us a discount for tires and alignment. Something didnt feel right after dring it on the highway this weekend so I took it back to have it checked and Kevin and Nino could not help me more. Kept the car until they found out the problem. It needed a balance, they did not charge me. This is why i will go back, I have many cars in my famiy and if they keep taking care of us like they just did we will continue to come back. Professional and helpful. Keep doing great work!

I always feel good about bringing my car to Mavis. The service is great and affordable, and every person I have ever encountered working there is friendly and helpful. Yesterday, Nino helped me, just like the rest of the guys, he was welcoming and knowledgeable.

I came there to get brakes on my car but had very little cash to spend the Manager Sean was very helpful in gettiing the work done with the funds available to me thank sooo much.

I brought my vehicle to get one tire leak repaired. The tire valve was replaced with new valve. The tire was still leaking one day later. I had returned to check if the rim/tire bead had been tested for leakage. This wasnt confirmed as having been done at first, but the vehicle was brought back in and a bead sealant applied at no extra charge.Thank you Mavis and especially Alexis for readdressing the tire leak repair!

I am tired of getting overcharged at Koch Toyota Dealership. This Mavis is awesome! They got my car fixed same day, and they have the friendliest staff working there. They explain the problems with your car, so you feel like they arent trying to pull a fast one on you. They have great discounts with mail in rebates, and the overall price is so much cheaper than a Dealership. Definitely take your car here 👍

I inherited my dads car after his passing and took it to Mavis for brakes, alignment, tires, etc. Alignment did nothing for the car and was not informed of a bigger front end problem that I discovered later after noticing the tires they put on were bald after 2 months. Waste of money at Mavis

I got a nail in my tire, I was going to leave the tire and run errands because I figured it would take a while. They told me that could fit me in quickly and did in about 25 minutes. The mechanic fixed the tire, switched the spare and actually put the spare back under the car. That is excellent service.

Very honest, helpful and courteous staff. Shop is very well run. My car is always ready when they say it will be. Good pricing on services and tires. Would definitely recommend.

I felt their goal was to get me the best deal while still being safe in my vehicle. They also fixed my trunk latch for me which I thought Id have to go to the dealership for! Had an appointment at 8 am, arrived early with two others, they left about 10 am, and my husband and I waited 5 1/2 hours, was told to go take a walk (which we had done already, for the first two hours), the front desk workers were friendly, but for the amount of time it took with little information given besides no time frame when asked, 1/5 would not recommend this location.

I have been bringing my vehicle to this Mavis location since they have opened, and I am very impressed with the way they have maintained their professionalism over the last year. Always blown away by the speed and quality of their service. Also thankful for the friendliness and respect out of the management team here! I never feel nervous to visit this shop.

OMG never ever going back there, from misleading information to overcharging. Customer BEWARE, they are smooth talking liars.

UPDATE: Still my go to shop. Recently purchased four new tires. The store manager Josh took the time to understand the kind of tires that would be best for my vehicle and how much I drive. Also, his mechanic did a fantastic job with the change. They were very timely and walked me through everything. Couldn’t be happier with their service and my new tires. Big shout out to this establishment.GREAT shop. Store is spotless, the waiting area is more than comfortable, and the staff is always on point. The store manager Josh and his crew, are all very knowledgeable and caring so you do not have to worry. Experience it for yourself. Check this place out, you won’t go anywhere else.

This location and staff is absolutely tremendous. Very attentive to detail, don’t try to up sell, and are very accommodating. They make you feel comfortable and don’t push unnecessary repairs onto your vehicle, only ones that are needed. Can’t say enough great things about this location. Another lifelong customer.

I just got an oil change but did run into an employee at the desk regularly not wearing a mask despite the governors order. To his credit he did put one on after asking about it but be prepared if you visit this one that customer safety is not a priority by default. The service itself was otherwise good and they didnt upsell me on anything not needed.

The quality of their service is difficult to find anywhere else.

Went to the Mavis in Forks Township. Spent $100 to replace the tire pressure sensor because i was told it was the source of my tire leak. A week later the same tire is flat again. Adding insult to injury, I called the customer service line and left a message to not even be called back. Thanks Mavis.

Mavis at Forks- they don’t even deserve one star! Staff is inadequate. They try and tell you things are severely wrong with your car to take advantage of you and your wallet. They misinform and mislead you just to make a sale. Highly unprofessional and extremely poor customer service by staff and managers. The techs that work on the vehicles have a poor skill set. The people at Mavis in Forks twp are just out to take advantage of you. Save your time and your money.

Same day repair

As a woman when going to get a car problem fixed I often feel like I am not respected. Not the case here. They are honest and respectful. I felt comfortable and respected. A place I will reuse when needed

The Managers Josh and Tyler were both very helpful and had me in and out quickly. Prices were very competitive. The store and garage were the cleanest Ive ever seen. Ill definitely be coming back in the future. Theres also a flat screen TV in the waiting room.

I have had a lot of bad experiences with auto places to the point where I do most of the work on my cars but so far with the 3 or 4 times I’ve gone there everything has gone smoothly. I’ve gotten a break bleed, a new tire, and 2 alignments. One of which I had to take back but they redid it no questions asked which is a major customer service win in my book. I’ll keep going back, even recommenced my mother in law to go there.Josh has been nothing but friendly to me which is always a sigh of relieve.Excited to see them doing well.
