Not so helpful when trying to find what you need for your hair

Great customer service and selection of wigs and hair extensions. It was easy to find everything I needed and a even though there were alot of customers everyone got the help and attention needed for a quick transaction without feeling rushed.

Not open. Had Sunday hours posted. Lost a customer.The owner contacted me later about the correct hours on Google. We had been at the store the day before and had noted the hours on the outside of the building. Honestly we could not remember the name of the store to Google the hours. Might want to update those. Anyways we still will not return

Visited the store yesterday. The woman at the register watched me like a hawk. Everyone doesn’t steal. When I went to the next aisle, I turned around just to see if she was still watching me and she was. If it wasn’t for African Americans spending their hard earned money in your store; you wouldn’t be in business. I’ll never shop here again.

I can relate ! I went to this beauty supply store. Because I was already on Durham. I originally came in for some eyelashes, but I decided to look at the sandals. I didn’t see the size I wanted on the color I wanted so that’s when I went and asked her about the eye lashes and the size. Anyways, she followed me and stared at me the entire time. I felt disrespected because I’m not a thief. She even looked t me as I left the store knowing that she watched me the whole entire time because the eyelashes were in the front. I will not return again!

Not a bad area to shop, but cheap stores, ghetto area, parking area not kept up but ok to stop and look in route to your house or other areas to shop.

The only true beauty supply store open on Sundays for those unanticipated hair emergencies. Like when you buy 3 packs but realize that youre mans whats up big head text is a double entendre. Good selection and super helpful staff, showed me where the products I wanted were and gave helpful advice.

The people who own this store are lovely! I am always so happy when I leave because the vibe is just really warm. I can ALWAYS find what I need and more lol. But seriously, I can’t say enough good things about this beauty supply. They have relevant products and you’d be doing yourself a favor by checking out the whole store. Prices are super affordable too. I’m sorry to gush but it’s just so nice to find a place that has what you’re looking for and where the people are so kind hearted. :)

Staff here asked if I needed help finding anything and was very polite ans accommodating. The other gentlemen in the store didnt speak. Overall a pleasant experience. They have better prices than the ones in Nebraska

Shop here all the time for me & my familys hair, beauty needs. Great prices, friendly staff, always receive discounts 10%, 15%, going on 20% just being a faithful customer. From a child going here with my mom & now me and my children visit all the time. Great store

Hours are a lie. It says open on Sundays at 12:00. We waited until 12:30. We took our business somewhere else.

I started going here a few months ago because they are open on Sunday. I absolutely love this place. I have bought 2 wigs from here that people absolutely love plus the staff is friendly and instead of following you like someone else said, they offer their services and check back in with you every so often (which is a better way to monitor theft). The staff is very helpful and answer any questions I have with no issues. Plus I found out that they sell a product that Ive been looking for all over Durham! I love this place. I always recommend it and I havent been back to another Beauty Supply Store since.

This is the beauty supply store i always visit. They have most of the hair products i need and i usually experience friendly service. I wish they carried more beauty/makeup items that are available in other beauty supply stores.

DO NOT BUY. They sell DEFECTIVE wigs then wont accept a return. WORST supply store in Durham. Just HORRIBLE! Try NC BEAUTY OUTLET on Glen school road. They sell great wigs and are not defective. I will reach out to the BBB because its unacceptable of a store to sell defective products of any kind and not give the client an exchange to the least. These scam people should be out of business. You idiots should understand your CUSTOMERS are why youre in business. Never shop here people.

This place sucks!! The products are out dated, not a large variety, NO REFUNDS!! So beware. They will take your money and wont satisfy a unhappy customer. If you are every in this area go to Beauty World instead!!! Better place and has all your needs plus great customer service.

Id lost my wallet and Credit Cards and they had it. They held it for me. The woman was so glad that I came back and I was grateful for her.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER BEAUTY SUPPLY STORES IN THE AREA! This store is extremely racist and constantly follows BLACK customers around the store. I made a purchase at this store yesterday and as I was exiting their metal detector went off. The old Chinese lady who works at the register grabbed by purse and began to dump everything on the ground. She broke my phone screen in the process. After they reviewed the tape and saw that I did not steal anything from their little run down store, they said that it was their metal detector that was at fault. The older Chinese lady constantly asks customers are they “finding everything ok” when she really is just snooping around trying to see if you are stealing. Disgusting. I miss the Old Sunny Beauty Supply! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

I wish I could give them zero stars. The moment I walked through the door I was followed around by the only male that works in there and watched like a hawk. I felt so uncomfortable in that store so I just left. They are horrible! Do not go there!

The employees seem a little racist here. I felt like I was a criminal and was constantly being followed around the store. I wasnt moving in a suspicious manner. Other than me being African American I have no other conclusion as to why I was treated this way. I make good money and have no need to steal anything. This place is the worst beauty supply store I’ve ever been too most of the wigs they have are super over priced most you can get online or another beauty store for half the price when I tried to ask a simple question the man and women there didn’t understand what I was saying followed me all around the store assuming I’m a thief N told me if I’m going to buy if not I need to leave

These are some of the rudest unacommadating people. When entering their store you are watched followed and treated as a criminal. The store and products are just ok. These stores are setup in black communties yet they fail to realize we are blacks are their biggest customer. Exchanges are not possible even with receipt and unopened packages.Decided not to return after my last visit. Just rude.

The worst place I’ve ever been to the people who work there could barely speak English I’ve seen numerous expired products and the products I did buy one was opened and product was obviously used when I came back in to tell the old man behind the counter told me I open and used it when I went out side in two seconds of me walking out the door didn’t even let me exchange it disappointed go to the one in the village
