Morgan’s is the best. They will take any issues and help out. I take all my cars there. Today I took minivan for oil change cause my nephew and his friends were driving cross country and they had stop by in Durham. They did oil change and checked out all systems.

Once my wife and I found this place, we wont take our cars anywhere else. Craig always goes above and beyond to help his customers. Prices are always fair and transparent about whats going on and how much it will cost.

Rip off service. Highly recommend to stay away from these guys. Their labor rates are even more higher than Firestone.

Pathetic customer service. These guys are not caring about customer waiting time. When a customer walk-in and nobody bother about to receive and they kept waiting the customer in the lobby for an hour and returned with no service. After multiple reminders also no technician showed up. I walked out with no service. Very bad experience.

I brought my car in because I had a tire losing pressure too fast. They quickly got the tire off, showed me the cause (a nasty little bit of metal that cut into the tire), plugged it, and got me ready to go again. Whats more, they must have decided it was a small enough service that they didnt even charge me!I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I has an issue with slow leak in tire and after being turned away by 4 other local tire centers, I stopped by Morgan and spoke with Craig. He was very professional and courteous, his team fixed my issue right there on the spot in no more than 10 minutes. Highly recommend Morgan Automotive and Craig, Thank you again.

I was west bound on I40 in Durham, headed to the mountains, when I lost a tire on my trailer. I pulled off on 55 & stumbled upon Morgan Automotive. I stopped in their parking lot to switch out the spare. Craig saw what I was attempting to do, stopped in the middle of his job, & helped me switch the wheel. Then he checked the air pressure on all four & adjusted as needed. No charge! We were back on the road in less than ten minutes. Enjoyed the US421 Snake experience the next day. Thanks Craig!

Ive been going here for years for my auto repair needs. All the guys there are super helpful and are fair in their pricing. As a women that is important to me bc I have been to repair shops in the past that have taken advantage of me and my lack of knowledge about cars. At Morgan, they always explain to me what needs repair and has even showed me the parts that need repair from my car. I will continue to use them for years to come!

I passed Several tire facilities and used them before but it was worth the drive, down home atmosphere and quality of service I received. As a Soldier, Veteran and Individual I have and will refer my Friends to this establishment

When I first started using Morgan it was fine. Simple in and out oil change. Over the years the service slowed down and the annoyances piled up.I’m going to spare you the read of multiple situations where they have destroyed my trust in smaller outfits; thinking I can trust them over a dealership. So, here is my advice. If you decide to come to Morgan after reading this, be prepared to leave and get a second opinion. Don’t go to another mechanic around the corner or behind them. Go to a dealership!If that dealership agrees, get a quote on the work and see what Morgan will do. But if they don’t agree...well I hope you dodged paying thousands like I did.

One of the best tire buying experiences I have had in a few years. The manager and service tech were attentive to my needs, not to mention making me feel they were happy to help, very friendly. I definitely recommend Morgan Automotive to meet your needs.

I was really in a pinch and needed to get a light bulb replaced and an oil change quickly. Kevin and the staff were super friendly and very efficient. This was by far the best experience Ive had at an auto service center. Ill definitely come back for service for both my cars.

Came to this shop after it was recommended to me by a friend. The shop manager Kevin was very helpful and sat down and took his time to explain everything that was going on with my car (my problem involved the battery specifically). He was very upfront and honest and made sure I understood everything that was going on and seemed extremely trustworthy. I have gone to a couple of shops in the Durham/CH area and they seemed by far the most knowledgeable. Will be going back soon to fix my A/C!

Loved the service I got today when I took my car in to get an oil change. They were up front about the process potentially running a bit long, which I appreciated. Then, as I was going to pay, they offered me the full service on the house, just because I had to wait, even though we discussed it up front. Hard to beat that level of service.

This is really a good honest garage in this area. I have been to a few that are rip offs. Craig is a fantastic manager and always does what he says in a timely manner. My car (s) are always well taken care of and they work around my schedule. I recently had brakes, tires and front end parts put on my work car and it rides like brand new, and I also like how they utilize my extended warranty. I would recommend these guys over all others

I came in a little past the time they normally do oil changes. Kevin helped me and said they could still do it. He helped get me in the system and informed me of the fee for a synthetic oil change and when my tires would be due to have a rotation. I had a very pleasant experience with Morgan Automotive. I had called first to set an appointment to get my oil changed and the representative was very friendly and helpful, he let me know they dont take appointments between 11-2. When I showed up at 11:15am it was a little busy so Craig took my information and asked me to come back in an hour. When I returned they took my car in right away and were very nice and professional. I always dread getting my oil changed, but Morgan Automotive made it a very quick and painless experience. I will definitely continue using them in the future!

I work nearby and based on the really good recent reviews on here, I decided to drop off my Honda Pilot to have them look at my front breaks as they were making a clunking sound and squealing. They were able to rectify the situation without the need for parts and did it for a fair cost. Theyve begun to earn my trust and appreciation. Thanks guys, keep up the good work to keep earning good reviews and word of mouth.[UPDATE]I had a second experience, but this one poor. I was told that I needed an alignment on my car, so I agreed to it. After everything was finished and I paid, I looked over the alignment sheet and found that everything was within spec (color coded green) BEFORE the alignment was completed. I went back to them and asked why they performed an alignment when the spec sheet clearly showed everything was within spec. They claimed that the computer screen was showing the tech something different than what printed out, and thats why he performed the service.I disputed the fact the the screen would show one thing, the before specs another, and the newly aligned spec as something completely different. They held firm to their claim but agreed to my request for refund. This made me feel like I was in the wrong and trying to get one over on them. When I went in for the refund, I was met with a very cold interaction.This is too bad because I was excited for this place after my first experience.

I used to not have a pleasant experience going to car service businesses in the past, especially since I have always had my dad and uncles work on my vehicles growing up. Morgan Automotive and Tire though sets the bar and then some! Every time I go in for an oil change, or service work, their staff is nothing but knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Kudos to Craig and his team! I just wish there were more Morgan locations throughout the Triangle area so more people could experience the quality work and effort that these guys do.

Great experience today. Worked with Craig who prevented us from making a bad investment in a car we brought in for a review before purchase. He was quick, honest, and really looked out for us. Will be bringing our cars back here for maintenance and service for sure.

I needed all 4 tires. They had to go to warehouse. I was told about 45 minutes with labor. Well, hour and a half later, finally left. My car set outside for 10 minutes until I had to get someone. There was also random people that did not work there in the office. Aside from this foolishness satisfied with tires. I would recommend Colonial across the lot though. Theyre cheaper and better atmosphere.

Today was my second time coming back and both times Ive been in and out within 30 minutes. Their price for high mileage oil changes are lower than other places Ive gone, and theyre not pushy when trying to suggest something to you. The receptionist is a sweetheart and explains information very well. I live on the Raleigh Wake Forest border now and I will continue driving back to Durham to have my oil changed and any other work done here

I’ve been a number of times for things as simple as an oil change to an inspection to things such as an alignment and tire installation. Integrity is the word I would use in describing this business and it’s employees. They’ve got a customer for life!

Went into Morgans for an oil change. The guy at the counter told me I needed breaks. He told me my car was not safe to drive and made me feel very uncomfortable. Being a single lady, I thought it would be a good idea to get a second opinion. When I took my car for the second opinion, the mechanic at the shop showed me my brakes and insured me that I had over half of my break pads left. Will not return and will tell not recommend this shop to anyone. Very poor experience and dishonest employees.

They take forever to do a simple state inspection. Then they twist your arm to get the repairs done at their shop. If you dont, they make you wait a long time to get checked out. Dont go here.

Helpful staff. I once had a leaky tire and they plugged it, no charge. I like shopping local, and return for inspections, rotations, and tires, whenever I can.

While i had a bad battery, i was told that i need to replace certain parts in my engine, which would have costed me 100s of $...I had to take the car to another professional mechanic and was told that all i needed is a battery and that you were not honest with me. Not going there anymore!

Came in for an inspection and to have four tire pressure sensors replaced. The team installed the sensors but had trouble syncing them with the car. However, five miles down the road the sensors synced and all is good! Couldnt be happier!

Actually my wife visited Morgan Automotive and Tire on the behest of our youngest son who had taken his car there for an oil change at a price a college student could afford. In my later years, I have been taking my vehicles especially my wife’s to the dealer for service, but this time we decided to take it to a locally owned small business that had impressed my son from his oil change experience. The unimaginable happened! We went in for an oil change and wound up having to have the engine rebuilt. Okay, take a deep breath. Turned out taking my wife’s car to Morgan Automotive and Tire and meeting Craig was a true blessing. Craig informed us that the issue was part of a recall from the Dealer for that particular model and engine. Craig had the car towed to the Dealership and as a result of him informing us of the recall the Dealer after some choice words from myself took care of all the repairs plus gave us a rental car to use during the repair. Since then Craig and the Team at Morgan’s have taken care of all my automotive needs and if you are looking for a shop that practices the golden rule “treat people the way you want to be treated” then see Craig at Morgan Automotive and Tire for all your automotive needs.

Two bad experiences in a row after hearing good things. First time called about getting an oil change and they said just bring it in and it would take an hour. Brought it in and went to lunch, came back over an hour later and they hadn’t even started it. Had to wait another 45 mins and was obviously late back to work. Today called about needing a diagnostics test run, they said to bring it in at 12. Brought it and was told it would take 2 hours and they’d call me later this afternoon to pick up. 4 o’clock hadn’t heard from them so we called and they then said they wouldn’t be getting to it til tomorrow, and it would probably take 4 hours (they quoted me $100/hr for diagnostics test at 2 hours, so I wasn’t going to pay $400). Called a different place who quoted me 1 hour of work at $65 for diagnostics test. Two times going here and both times either was lied to or completely wrong time/price quoting. Will not be going back to Morgan.
