Yesterday, I called in to to book an appointment with this company for this morning. I show up on time, yet I still had to wait close to an hour before they saw my car. In addition, when I arrived one of their lots were empty but they pulled another car in before they brought my car in. If my appointment time was not going to be respected, then I could have just walked and accepted whatever time they had to see my car. Instead of making an appointment to ignore the time that was set. I am hoping to update this review once they are done with my car. I like to leave good reviews, to show others this company is a good company and keep their word. However, if nothing changes then the truth will stick.Here is the update, so once they got my car in their lot they rushed my services and did not do everything they stated they would do. If they would have seen my car at the time of my appointment, they would not have rushed my services and possibly provided me better experience. Especially, since this is my first time coming here. Now it will be my last time. Originally, gave this company two stars to match the quality of service I received in the beginning. Due to them rushing my service and actually skipping out on the additional services that came with my transaction shows me that this isnt a company of integrity and quality service. My suggestion is to go next door and pay the extra cost jiffy lube would charge you. Quality service is something no company should short their customers. Hopefully their General Manager will see this message and make the necessary changes to have a successful company.

The service I received from Bryan and Dale was beyond excellent. They truly exemplified what customer service should be. A nail was in my tire and it was 30 minutes before closing and they still fixed my tired with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Lorenzo did an excellent job as well repairing my tire. These guys were great. Got in quick and was so happy to talk to someone like Bryan. As a young female Im always worried about being taken advantage of at car places. He explained all of my options and prices to make sure I understood what I was agreeing to and gave me an amazing deal. I had a not so great experience trying to get tires at MJ Nissan the day before and having a superior experience at Just Tires made me want to go to them for all my car needs!

Wow, to be open the day after thanksgiving was super convenient because my tire had a hole in it so thankful for them being open then I didn’t have to wait very long and such good southern hospitality and kindness from the whole staff but Jermery in particular was very helpful, super kind and very knowledgeable. They really took care of me and I’m very grateful. I highly recommend Just Tires !!

Went in for an oil change appt @3PM, and was seen immediately, BUT!!! an hour into my oil change I was told they couldnt do it because of an oil leak.. Huh?? It took an hour to tell me that? They took me back there to show me some oil that was on the engine, but I have seen no oil leaks in my driveway prior to this visit or had a oil light come on.the technician who showed me the suspect oil leak offered no explanation as to why it was leaking or if they could repair it, and I didnt ask since I thought that was his job to offer incite into the situation he brought me back to look at, so after another 30 min of them rotating my tires I was out of the door with no oil change but at least they charged me nothing. Swung by Jiffy Lube next door and got an oil change.

EDIT: Regional manager reached out to me and had an earnest conversation about what happened and ways to improve. Increasing this review because customer service after the bad experience was great. Will return to this location.Horrible service. Had an appointment at 1:00 pm. Showed up 10 minutes early just in case to get things moving. Took 1 hr 45 minutes to change 4 tires. They took care of other people that didnt have appointments and showed up after me. No apology or explanation for why it took so long. No update the entire time I was waiting until I had to ask multiple times for an update. Stay away from this place, you will be thankful later on.

I had a flat on a Saturday and tried to go to Chapel Hill Tire only to find out they are ALL closed on Saturdays. Thankfully, Just Tires does not keep bankers hours like CHT and got me in to put a patch in and get me on my way. The fellow at the counter was very friendly and it was a very good experience overall.

Called for a nail in a tire; said repair would be $30+ tax. When I came in; the manager said tire was irreparable & tried to sell me a mediocre new tire for $100.Went to Discount Tire. They did not try to sell me a tire. Fixed it forFREE. Go see Bryan there. They sell & repair: tires. Everyone wears a good MASK !

These guys go above and beyond in every sense of the word. When I cracked a rim shortly after getting a new set of tires, they directed me to a local junk yard for a cheap replacement which they then installed in the half hour right before they closed.Bring these folks your business. You wont regret it.

Tonight I ended up with a flat tire. I called the store at 7:30 to see if they were able to fix our tire tonight so we didnt have to wait until tomorrow and miss work. After speaking with the tech Yoshi, Chester told us to come into the store and they would be able to get the new tires on for us, we decided to get 4 tires. We got here around 7:50 and they quickly got to work on our vehicle, welcomed us in with smiling faces, refreshments, and the control to the television. I would HIGHLY recommend Just Tires here in Durham! They are quick, efficient, and had our safety and best interest at heart!

This review is long overdue. I meant to write it sooner. I took my car in to investigate a sound it was making when braking. The staff was very pleasant. I worked mostly with Mark and Osborne. The manager Dale Acton was also great to work with. They figured out the issue with my brakes and they did a great job. Whatever questions, which were many, they addressed them in a courteous way. I was very happy about the service provided to me by these 3 gentlemen. I will definitely be taking my car there. Great place and staff.

Quick friendly service at a reasonable price, although the location is a little difficult to get in and out of during rush hour so I would recommend going here in the off hours. There is also a jiffy lube right next door which makes it convenient to get tires and oil checked at the same time.

They did an awesome job putting on my tires but first informing me that whomever put those previous tires on my truck has been putting on the wrong size tires and they knew it. He said theyre not supposed to sell you smaller tires like that and ordered me the correct ones.

I feel that Just Tires was considerate of my time, and worked hard to get me back on the road as soon as possible. After replacing two tires on Sunday, I had to return on Tuesday due to a leaky TPMS kit. While this wasnt ideal, I appreciate Dale fitting me into their tight schedule. They were able to resolve the issue (no additional charge) in less than an hour. I will make sure to come back!

We had our tire blow out on the side of 85 in Durham. Since our car is newer it doesnt have a spare tire, it only has a compressor. Needless to say that wasnt going to do us any good. We called to make sure they had the size we needed and the man told us he would wait on us to get there since we had to be towed. They were very friendly and got us taken care of in about 30 minutes and on our way.

The guys at the shop were great, not pressuring at all and answered all my ungodly amount of questions. Had an alignment done there and will be back in a few months for a set of tires.

No stars.This was the worst and dishonest place I’ve been too.Came for a quick tire rotation.One of the guys working on my car try to take of the wheel without using the lock key,which in the process damaged 3 of the studs,which I had to replace.Took it to another shop and found more damaged the guys did at just tires.300 dollars of damage they done to my car when I just went in for a tire rotation.If they don’t pay for the damage they did,see you in court.

I brought my wifes car here for the $29.99 oil change advertised at the time on a big sign in their window. Big mistake. The representative refused to do it saying the car (a Jetta) required synthetic high priced oil. I pushed back repeatedly without success but in the end paid the money which ended up being almost $70 after taxes. I felt taken advantage of. And was so mad at myself for letting it happen. I was a victim. Dont be one yourself. I never returned and have repeatedly warned people about my experience. Even if this was an aberration, your business is only as reputable as your worst practice. And this one star rating was well and hard earned.

Had to replace some tires for inspection. They had them in stock and were quickly changed out. Really appreciated the work.

I bought all 4 tires new from Just Tires. I had a slow leak around the bead of one of the tires, and noticed some vibration after they were installed. I took my car back to them FIVE times to get them to fix the bead leak, and each time they just kept adding bead sealant and saying that maybe there was something wrong with my rim. After I walked outside a few days after the fifth appointment and saw my tire was completely flat, I got irate. I used some tools and pried the tire off the bead to find that they had left the sticker on the bead, which was causing the leak. There were also several pebbles between the tire bead and rim. I removed the sticker and pebbles and re-filled the tire and the leak has stopped. These guys are supposed to be tire professionals, but they were too negligent to fix a simple bead leak in FIVE attempts. I also got an alignment and re-balance to try and fix the vibration that I experienced after having the new tires installed, but vibration is still happening. The manager of this place should be suuuuuper embarrassed by my story. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place to get tires. Avoid at all costs.

My husband took our car here to get aligned. He said the guy who did the alignment, a redhead, did an excellent job with it. Hes a retired mechanic and we just moved down here, so we couldnt take it anywhere where we knew someone. When you come here, request for the redhead to do your service, and itll be done right!

I have taken my car here multiple times and asked them to do something super simple where if I had the proper tools I would have done it myself. They never did that and it ended in me having damaged my perfectly good tire to beyond repair because the nail in it was never found.. I will never be returning to any Just Tires location again. Terrible service and work.

Went for a simple standard oil change after making an appointment and was made to wait over an hour. Staff was very rude and condescending when questions were asked. There is a jiffy lube next door and several other car repair centers within walking distance. I recommend for courteous, prompt, and reliable service anyone consider those as options before Just Tires of HWY55 in Durham.

Got four new tires mounted for over $800 and let the shop keep two with almost 50% tread left...got home to see no valve caps. No wonder their waiting room was empty.

The servicemen were quite rude to me, I wont be back. I did apologize for coming in so late in the day (16:30 on a Sunday) but they were clearly not busy, and when I mentioned family emergency and needing service so I could take a trip for said emergency they looked as if they were holding back laughter. So glad my family member being in the process of dying is funny to them.

EDIT for initial review:12-14-2013The primary store manager, Steven Myers, saw my initial review (below) and gave me a phone call. This guy is a great manager and communicator. Steven was not working the day I had my bad experience. After explaining the situation to him, he thought it was unfair that Id been charged for that work and offered me a credit for the amount Id been charged. He asked if there were any services I needed so he could make an estimate for me with the discount. As I type, my car is getting a transmission service. I was very happy with the follow-up from Steven. So now, overall, Ive had a good experience with Just Tires in South Durham. Im impressed with the amount of effort and initiation Steven extended to me to make sure I had a good experience with the shop.Initial Review:I scheduled an appointment for a tire rotation so I could be in and out quickly. They didnt start on my car for over an hour. Then they come and tell me that one tire stud is stripped and one is completely broken and Ill have to take it to a different shop to have it repaired. I ask to see and realize that their diagnostic for breaking my car was wrong. It was two stripped studs. They say they can fix it. My issue with this is that studs should not strip unless they are over-torqued or if the lug nut is put on skewed. Thirty minutes later I realize theyre making phone calls trying to find the parts. An hour after that they give me a bill charging me $111 for two new studs and two hours of labor for when they were finding parts. So in conclusion, I waited two and a half hours for a scheduled free tire rotation that cost me over a hundred dollars. I hope no one else goes through this.

Ive had pretty good luck here with Steve as the manager. He has gone out of his way to get me decent offers and pricing on services, especially tires and installation. Be prepared to wait, however. They are not the speediest shop in the area.

Showed up early for an 11 appt made online. They had not scheduled it. Came for new tires. Asked for an estimate for bearings and joints. Was told I also needed rear brakes. They quoted me $1800 for that work. Ridiculous.

Will not ever return to Just Tires!!! Wont recommend to anyone!! Had to go to corporate !! When you drive the car in and its fine, then they tell you that you cant even drive it out is a problem. Management will try and hustle you, make you feel like you are getting a deal but they are just salesman and what you to feel comfortable when they are getting over on you. Never been raped so bad by a company. I should have stuck with Jiffy Lube, Mr. Tire and the Lexus dealership. Never again.

Theyre not the best, but theyre not the worst, either. I dont remember the name of the gentlemen that I dealt with, but he was friendly and tried to offer me deals. I got pricing at other shops and they were about the same, except Just tires offers 3 year balance/rotations for the lifetime of the tires, so I got that.To some of those that give this place a bad rating, Ive got to ask: why are you going to a place called JUST TIRES and getting an oil change? Go somewhere else for that. If you need comprehensive work done, go somewhere else...

FIRST TIME HERE AND WONT BE MY LAST!!! Demario and Francisco did a oil change for me...what makes this my new place of business is their level of customer service. My car takes an extra 2 quarts of oil, instead of saying they didnt have the extra oil and to come back tomorrow, they called another location and had it delivered. They did not seem bothered or frustrated with trying to get out by closing time. I was satisfied with my first visit here after I got a puncture in one tire, although they couldve told me they could just patch my tire instead of having me pay for a brand new one.On my second visit for an oil change, I mentioned to the guy at the front desk that my gear shift gets stuck sometimes. He said okay, but as I got ready to leave (since I was dropping the car off) I saw a mechanic get in my car and struggle with the gear shift so i went back to volunteer moving the car myself so they wouldnt break anything trying to force it out of park. I scheduled the oil change for around noon, but never heard back from the staff and they were due to close, so I asked my wife to drive me there to check. We get there and the same people are at the desk but dont know what Im talking about when I ask for my car and cant find my keys... after wandering through the building they found the keys hanging somewhere I assume they shouldnt have been.They got the work done, but I think there is some lack of communication among the staff. The older guy who is usually at the front desk also seems to change in temperament depending on who is around too. He was polite on my first visit, but short with me and another gentleman who arrived before me who had an accent.

Went to Jiffy lube next door for an oil change and they gave me a crazy price so I told them to give me the keys and pulled into this shop. Got my oil change for $40 cheaper. They took long a long time for not being busy would be only complaint.

Got 3 sets of tires for trucks in my service fleet. Store does not have any tires in stock, will always have to get from warehouse. Very unhappy with how service tech scratched up and cross threaded factory plastic wheel covers (removed & reinstalled with impact wrench instead of by hand.) Could not perform free alignment check because wheelbase of truck was too long. No printout of alignment check on another truck that was out of spec, but checked in spec at competitor. I also observed one of the trucks raised precariously on lift, definitely not lifted properly - front of truck was angled toward ground and bed was in air. North Carolina Vehicle Inspection machine was not functional and could not offer a state inspection. Expected much better customer service, especially since store wasnt busy. Maybe that is why store isnt busy.... My suggestion is to go elsewhere.

I went to this store on Monday August 24, 2015 to get a tire patched. I was told that the tire could not be patched as the nail was too close to the sidewall. I asked how much would it be to replace all of the tires and was told $274 per tire. I said no thank you and just order the one tire.Today (Friday August 27th) after not hearing anything more about the tire coming in I give them a call. Im now told that the tire was ordered but the wrong size was delivered and that they may have to go and personally pick up the tire from one of the warehouses.Being fed up I decide to go to Durham Tire & Auto Center to have the work done. When they checked it was determined that the nail was nowhere near the sidewall and that it could be patched. Nearing completing of the work I asked how much would it be to replace all four tires and was told $866. Needless to say, I will be going to Durham Tire & Auto Center to get all four tires replaced before the end of the year.I will never go back to Just Tires on NC-55 again. Its really sad how many crooks are out there.

Horrible. .. slow told me they would change my oil in 40 minutes but after taking 5 minutes to pull my info.. told to come ba c k because there wasnt enough time. Then took 5 more minutes to give me back my keys. Lied to potential customers. ... Dont waste your time!!! Too many other options. ..Keep driving! !!!!!

Came in for a tire repair for a nail puncture and was told that it was irreparable because it was on the shoulder. Ladies, BEWARE because I got the feeling that they tell every woman this to scam us out of a new tire, because he said the EXACT thing to the woman before me. I went ahead and bought a new tire to replace it and it has been losing pressure since I left!! Additionally, they didnt rotate the tires like I was told theyd do. Had to come back and Osborne acted like I was speaking an alien language. Took an hour to get it fixed, then they had the nerve to point out that one of my tires had a plug and they recommend replacing it. The tire in question was a factory tire that was plugged a few months after i bought the car IN 2015!! I told him to leave my tire alone and that I wouldnt be back. They still didnt rotate the newest tires to the back, and he had the nerve to say Come back when you need your tires rotated.!!

Too long; didnt read: Terrible alignment and destroyed a wheel stud.Note: I was a mechanic for 7 years. I do all my own car work except for tires because I no longer have the equipment.Went in for 2 front tires and alignment. Got the car back - alignment was terrible, to drive straight the wheel had to be turned to the 3 oclock position. I took it back and they straightened the wheel; not sure if they re-did the camber (they didnt give me a new print out of the alignment measurements).A few days later I decided to replace my front brakes. I found they had cross-threaded one of the lug nuts. I had to put a 3 foot breaker bar on the lug nut to get it off; Im honestly surprised the stud didnt break. I went back and told the manager about it. He seemed genuinely apologetic and offered to pay for a new lug nut and stud if I brought back the receipt. I declined because they are only $4 at any car parts store and wasnt worth my time to drive back and forth. Luckily I can replace the stud myself but someone else might be stuck with $100+ bill to get that fixed.Its disappointing when Just Tires cant even do tires correctly.

I bought four new Goodyear tires from this store for my Hyundai Sonata, also got wheel alignment done as suggested by the mechanic. And after changing the tires, there was vibration in the car, and when I took another appointment, they said we have fixed it, but it wasnt fixed. When I went third time to this store, they said there might be a problem with tire but we cannot change it now since our manager is on vacation. They let me wait for 5 days to change the tire, which was very frustrating. But even after changing the tire, car is still vibrating and making noise. But now I have decided to take my car to a different store. The staff is good and friendly, BUT I went there for a service, and it was very disappointing experience.

Im so tired of mechanics trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman. Every time I have been here they try and convince me I need a ton of stuff done that I dont really need. They give me a list of things that they want to do for my car. I deny them. Then I have it checked out by the two mechanics in my family. None of it is needed and everything is fine.

I use to come here for all my oil changes/repairs and the staff was great.One day I went because my my steering wheel was acting up, not sure if it had anything to do with power stern, but the staff member would not even look at my car to identify an issue. In fact, he gets on google and says let me see whats on google and YouTube about your car instead of looking at the car. Proceeds to show me a YouTube video on my car and I nicely walked out and I will never come again.If you are about to google something to work on my car, then I will not be needing your services. What puzzled me was there was not a soul in there getting services and this young man would not service me. Laziness at its finest.I went right over to jiffy lube and they helped me with no issues! I have decided to get all my oil changes with them even though jiffy lube cost more the quality of service is better!

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and waited an hour and 45 minutes before walking out. My car hadnt even been pulled in yet. The guys there were friendly and polite but I just couldnt justify patronizing the business after such a long wait without any warning of how busy they were. The point of scheduling appointments is partly is to avoid situations like this.

Went to this location after an unsatisfactory experience at the Just Tires in north Raleigh near Triangle Town Center (a cross-threaded lug nut stud was broken off without my authorization, and they only checked my brakes after I requested a free, full inspection, then some of the other results were lost in a paperwork shuffle, and finally the whole experience took hours longer than theyd promised). I contacted corporate about my experience, and he helped me get an appointment at a Durham Just Tires location. The manager of the Durham store, Steve Myers, went above and beyond to make up for my bad experience by offering discounts on multiple fluid services and alignment(s), and to give me the full inspection on my car.Not only that, but Steve gave my car a free high mileage oil service using synthetic blend oil, and went in depth explaining the other recommended services (fluid services recommended based on mileage; alignment based on computer printout). One odd thing was the alignment machinery they used on the first measurement had one component that had shorter legs than the one they used on the second measurement - the first printout showed a rear wheel was out of alignment, while the second showed it was ok. Didnt seem like the components were interchangeable, judging by the results...Regardless, I felt that Just Tires as a company and Steve Myers at the Durham location more than made up for what happened at the first location. I hope to visit again soon to take them up on their offer of discounted services.

Beware THE AIR FILTER TRICK! That is, they bring out a filthy air filter THAT ISNT YOURS and then tell you it will only be $35 for a new one! Just say no, thanks and if youre able turn and run in the other direction!They disgusted me with their dishonesty.

Horrid. Scheduled a 9 am appointment for oil and tires. 10:30am still not done with either. Lonnie (desk clerk) is rude, obnoxious and unhelpful. 2 days later oil is leaking and I find out they left out 4 of 6 bolts in the skid plate! Do not use this place for service!!!!!!

Failed NC inspection for window tint. BS. My car is brand new (2015) and I bought the window tint from the dealer to meet NC laws. Second shop passed inspection. Id give 0 stars if I could. Im going to file with BBB to get my money back (I have both inspection reports).

And gone twice for an oil change and did not want to do that because the light marks and the second time because they hear a funny ring so they told me in order to leave my car in good condition and I was delivered with a tire punctured a damaged tire and they did not want to gass anything to remedy it
