Purchased a 21 Sonata N-line from sport durst back on May 31st. Chance was the rep that assisted me was overall nice and fought for my business, but the car I I purchased ended up being extremely flawed. Straight off the lot it already had a chip, and ding between body lines. But as I continued to use the car I noticed so many flaws. The headlights and front bumper do not sit well on the car. There is basically a gap between the headlights and the bumper. The sunroof isn’t on properly. Leather already looks horrible on the car. Indented odd line on dashboard, steering wheel not being centered at all. The list continues … overall been a big Hyundai guy for a while but after this experience with the car, just over it. Tried reaching out the rep who assisted with the purchase to see about getting something worked out, only to be left on read and not hear back. So overall, the experience has been real bad. I would NOT recommend you purchase your Hyundai from this dealer. Honestly, I don’t even recommend hyundai anymore. Attached photos that were taken after 3 weeks of ownership. Still basically dealing with this defected car that cost me over 35k. Also hyundai USA service is just awful.

Would definitely recommend this dealer. They worked with me when I negotiated pricing and we came to a good deal. So much so that I came back with both my mother and sister in law to get them new leased cars as well. They gave me a great deal on my mother in laws car, and an even better deal for my sister in law. They were very professional and offered me a amazing monthly payment. Great dealer! From the very moment we reached out to the Sport Durst team we were provided with honest and fair financial information and excellent customer service, which included frequent check ins with potential vehicles to view. While other dealerships are drastically increasing prices because of the market, we didn’t over pay and are loving our 2022 Palisade!
Had a good experience there! Arrived on time and got my car back on time. It was first service for Palisade. They did not have nitrogen so did not fill it there, I wish they had nitrogen so it would have saved a trip to costco. Explained whats included and what is not. I expected some inspection for the the extra interior protection package I had purchased while buying from here. For which they said I have to contact front desk (the sales side) which I didnt do because of time constraints. Will call them to figure that out. Service side no complains and 100% satisfied.

Taylor was absolutely amazing. I was shopping for a good-looking, comfortable, mid-sized sedan (RED was a criteria!) and had visited three other dealerships and test-driven two other makes of cars. Sport Durst has the best inventory to select from by far, and the salespeople we worked with were helpful without being pushy. Sport Durst also was the busiest dealership we visited, so that says something in and of itself! Even the non-salespeople went out of their way to let me take a test drive the first time we went, when all the sales force was busy with other customers.So I got my dream car, a red Sonata Hybrid, with the help of the great, friendly staff at Sport Durst. And when I had a question about one of the cars features a couple of days later, my salesperson (Nick H.) was able to help me over the phone, even though he was with another customer at the time. 😊

I had an issue where my check engine light kept coming on, and it was causing my car to shake and almost turn off. I took my car in to Sport Durst and no codes were given from the diagnosis. They told me to come back if it happened again. Well the problem continued so I called service and they gave me an appointment for 30 minutes later. I arrived and they immediately got to work on my car. The check engine light was still on so they diagnosed the issue and fixed it under my warranty. My car drives great now!! They offer superior service.

I literally stood here for 10minutes. I was greeted once I came in but everyone at the desk continuously answered calls while I stood at the door and no one helped me. They continually walked inside and outside the door. I just wanted to check in to go sit down. This is poor customer service. This happen at the service department at the service front desk. I dont normally come to this dealership and now I have no plans on coming back at all. I am an paying customer. Please retrain the service department agents the importance of customer service.

As a weekend mechanic with 50 years experience, Sport Durst diagnoses was superficial. Recommended work was outrageously expensive and unnecessary. They ignored the vehicle service history - 5 of 8 recommended major part replacements had already been done in the previous 20 months.

We went in with a oil leakage problem. So they made us drive it an additional 1,500+ miles so they could measure the oil leakage.... Which rotted our spark plugs, and we had to pay to have those replaced. Then they sent off the results and decided that Hyundai wasnt responsible for the engine leak. So they want us to pay $300+ for a potential treatment, that MIGHT help. But they wont call me back to discuss anything, and Ive been calling since Monday. I am utterly furious that they are forcing us to endanger or family for some money.
Yesterday I bought a new Tucson and Ray was my sales lady. She was awesome and very personable and professional and not pushy. Sport Durst handled everything professionally. Nick was also amazing. He set up my new car and than showed me how everything worked. Ive been to other dealerships and they pretty much toss you the keys and say bye. But he explained all the features and showed me how they worked.Only downside like any dealership is the amout of time you have to be there from start to finish, but I knew that going in. Definitely would recommend going to check them out and ask for Ray or Nick.

I drove an hour and 50 minutes to see 2 used 2020 ioniq hybrid blues that were listed online. The sales representative, Jonathan, confirmed they were available before I left. I arrived to a complete bait and switch with Jonathan wanting to show me the whole lot in the nasty heat hoping Id bite on something. He made it very difficult to stay civil. The cars that were no longer available were still listed online the next day. Dont waste your time here. Go to Raleigh instead.
What grabbed my attention was the Lyft service they provide to customers. That took a lot of stress off my mind not having to worry about inconveniencing someone to come pick me up from the dealership and drop me back off later. This place has fast and easy service, they estimated that my service should be done in about 2 hours and some change.

Brought my car to Sports Durst to have the ignition key cylinder repaired/replaced. When I picked up the car the shift lock would not disengage when stepping on the brake (the override switch cover was missing). In addition the drivers window stopped working. Both completely coincidentally. Nothing to do with their work apparently. Maybe just Hyundai.

15/10! Yesterday I almost wrecked my brain because of the car problems I was having. I gave Hyundai a call and a young man, Ray spoke with me. The next day I was back to handle business at the service department. While there Ray called me to check up on my previous problems. Long story short I left the lot today in a brand new 2021 Hyundai. Along with Ray, Glenn helped as well. Between the two they ensured my payments were low and I was happy. They did an amazing job at explaining everything being this was my first car purchase from a real dealership. They made my buying experience the best yet. I highly recommend getting your car from here. Very friendly and patient. Great customer service.

Stay away from Sport Durst Hyundai! In 2020, purchased a 2018 Sonota that was previously a fleet loaner vehicle with 5,000 miles. 14-months after purchasing, the roof paint is delaminating and chipping away. I attempted to see if this type of factory defect is covered under warranty and they immediately said no and I need to call Hyundai and file a claim. Ive been a Hyundai Sonota owner now for the 3rd time but this will be my last!
They are really understaffed or gave holidays to too many people at the same time. 3 stars are only because of the Ms. Taylor who attended us. She did exceptionally well keeping in mind that she was handling multiple customers at the same time. I appreciate her efforts. Otherwise place looked like graveyard. No lively atmosphere !!

Had an 10:30 am appointment for complimentary oil change package. After 2 hours later I checked in on the status, they hadn’t even started working on my car. It took them 3 hours from the time I got there until I got my car back. What’s the point of making an appointment if I still end up waiting 3 hours for a 45 min. job?

Excellent experience with Rolf Higgins. I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle since I was there to have a Santa Fe serviced. After talking with Rolf- I did take the time to test drive the Palisade. ILoved it immediately and ended up trading in my Santa Fe for the Palisade. He was very informative along with Glenn. I was told that I had a nail in my tires inner sidewall, with a slow leak, and that the whole tire would need to be replaced. They suggested that I have the tire replaced, alignment and balance performed. I declined since my tire pressure light was NOT on when I took it in. Also, my tires were fairly new and I purchased them at a local tire store, that will rotate and align for free when you purchase tires with them. So I decided to NOT have the dealership replace them and instead take them back to the shop where they were purchased. When I went to the local tire shop 2 days later my tire light was still NOT on... they removed the tire that the dealership shop noted had a nail and leak and could not find a leak or nail! They brought me back showed me the tire and the tire pressure. No nail and no leak! Since we thought that maybe the paperwork could have noted the wrong tire they then inspected all of the other tires with me present. NO nail, NO leaks, and NO low tire pressure on any of the tires. They were kind enough to not charge me for the inspection of the tires.Finally, I was charged for an oil change but they did not provide a sticker which usually serves as proof and a reference for when to come back. With no sticker, I am still unsure if this oil change even happened.
Service staff was prompt and readily available to handle all of my vehicle’s needs. If I could rate any higher I would. The experience gets better with each visit.
Zero stars if I could. They falsely advertised and mislead. Ignored us afterwards. Go to Johnson Hyundai. Trust me. Go to Johnson. This place could care less about their effect on people. Some of their comments back to negative reviews on here is a little weird too.

I would like to give a review regarding my experience at Sport Durst Hyundai in Durham. Katlin, is a very knowledgeable sales person, she knows her craft. Katlin did an awesome job explaining the features on the car as well took me on a test drive and explain all of the new features. However, we didnt close the deal, no fault of Katlin. When I walked into the building and went to the desk I stated that I was interested in seeing the new Tucson, ManagerHieu yelled out Katlins name so loud I thought she was at the other end of the room only to notice that she was no more than 7 feet across from him. I felt that was very unprofessional behavior. Once she completed showing me the car, Katlin spoke with Mr. Hieu and he came over. I told him I was trading in my 2017 Tucson with 28000 miles and that I was doing a comparison with another Hyundai dealer. He offered me less than the other dealership. He could have at least offered the same as the other dealership. I explained I wanted my payment to be under$20.000 with my trade in. He stated a price of$19,995 which would bring me way over the$20 thousand with all of the fees. Then he placed a tentative contract in front of me without first discussing and breaking down the charges. He had added the GAP which is not what I requested. I felt he was pushy, lack the skill of interacting with customers. I informed him that the other dealership offer was better. As I was in my car leaving he came to the car and stated why go there I live closer to them and then, he stated that Katie get commissions as if telling me Im taking food out of her mouth.its unfortunate that Katlins talent isnt appreciated.
Poor service during what ended up being two appointments just to replace key and fob. People nice enough -- no follow-up call as promised from service. Lengthy wait despite appointment. This didnt used to happen -- IDK what has caused service department to become less adept.
Another Terrible Sport Durst Experience.I called to schedule repair of a couple of recall items on my Sante Fe. I told the scheduler over the phone the two specific items that needed repair. I asked specifically if the parts would be available for this repair and she transferred me to service. I left a message asking if parts would be available for the repair and requested a call back. Nobody called me back and a week later, I drove the 30min to get to Sport Durst arriving for my 8:00am appointment. The service tech did not have a record of what needed repair and also did not have the parts available for the repair. So, an hour wasted in the car and they couldnt fix the recalls items. This is my 2nd bad Sport Durst experience. The 1st was at Sport Durst Chrysler Dodge where they quoted me $450 to replace the headlight bulb in my Dodge Durango (PSA, the bulb is $65 on Amazon and it takes 10min to install). I will not be returning to any dealership owned by Sport Durst for any reason.

Wonderful Experience - Mike R. was fantastic.We were looking for a new SUV, and narrowed it down to a Toyota 4-Runner and the Hyundai Palisade. Mike Ramaglia was incredibly responsive to our online request, and then went out of his way helping us through the process. It had been a number of years since we purchased a new Car, and we found it refreshing that there was literally no pressure, either from Mike, or their Management team to purchase the car. After purchasing the car, and owning it for over a month, I love it. It is roomy, and had a lot more in the way of standard features than the 4 Runner, and, IMHO, drove more like a luxury car, than a truck. Nothing negative about the 4 Runner, but we really loved the Palisade. It is an incredible value for the Dollar. I would definitely buy from Sport Durst again, and would reach out directly to Mike again for assistance. He was fantastic.

Overall it was ok experience. They could have done better in explaining the vehicle and handing over the vehicle with cleaned interiors.Delivery was on the same day so that was impressive. But it took lot of time to get to the finance department (3.5+ hours) .Hope the service experience will be good going forward.
Not recommend repair your Hyundai there.They even charges $50 hidden shop fees for just car diagnostic.
