I’m new to NC from New England and wanted a Jeep dealer for my maintenance and repairs. Having only been here for 6 weeks with no family and friends for recommendations, I was on my own to search. Cost was a big concern as I was delayed with employment. Sport Durst was the closest and I loved their superior customer service and attentiveness to my vehicle questions as well as inquiries about the the community. Friendly, helpful and when I left I still had cash in my wallet! I would highly recommend them!
I went in for a regular schedule oil change. Not being from the area, I choose the closet Dealer to my address. They took care of my oil change with no hesitation. All staff I encountered were pleasant and friendly,( not always the case early in the morning ) In & out in 40 minutes or less.I would definitely choose Sport Durst Chrysler Dodge Jeep if Im in the area again. I’ve been going to Sport Durst for service since I bought my van a few years ago. The guys there are super professional and it’s just completely hassle free working with them. I don’t usually have brand loyalty with vehicles but the service at this place is just so good I’ll want to stick with Dodge/Ram now.
I just want to take a moment to say how awesome my experience was with this dealership! Everyone was great and I felt very welcome as soon as I walked through the door. I asked for a specific person and was pointed in the right direction. Nicole was great and helped me get my payments for my new jeep where I wanted it. I am very happy with my decision. Just had a simple car inspection done. Wait time was much faster than was told. In and out. Great Service.
Disappointed in this dealerships services.After receiving a new battery my car was still not running.After diagnostic Jeep recommend replacement of sparkpulgs. $600 dollars and 3 days later and my vehicle was not running.*300 charged for labor. Oil change also received.*I called to set another services appointment and they recommended a tow company at my expense. When tow company came they confirmed bolts to battery and sparkpulgs were lose.After tightening all bolts my car is running with no problems. Appointment canceled and customer lost.Shame of those who try to take advantage of their customers.
First experience with the dealership! And a good one! Estimate was spot on, parts were in stock, and installation was done in a matter of a couple hours. Communication was great on the part of service writer Jamie. I can’t ask for anything more and will definitely be servicing my Jeep and my Ram here from now on. The service department was clean, personnel was friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that this went so smoothly.
Second car bought from Sam this summer. First was planned, second one not so much. He was great both times. We like to find reliable products and then purchase them from qualified people who appear to have our interests in mind.Third purchase from the dealer, second from Sam. Although not North Carolina native, but visit regularly…. While here my Jeep Grand Cherokee needed imminent service and I could not be more please with this location staff and management. They were not only friendly, courteous but exceptional in customer service and satisfaction. They were honest about the needs of my vehicle and needed to be done and what could wait. They were efficient and price was reasonable for what I needed done. If this was my local dealership & service shop… they would have a life long customer.
I took my daughter Tabetha to Sport Durst upon her request after she test drove a Ford Bronco at a Ford dealership. She had taken her vehicle back to a garage that morning for a second time within a month. As soon as we pulled in, there it was, a Nacho (yellow) 2021 Jeep Gladiator with the latest technology MOJAVE package. Six speed manual transmission. She took it for a test drive and later her mother wanted her to drive another one just to make sure. Tabetha drove another Gladiator purplish in color but an automatic with the Overland package. The Nacho Mojave won hands down with its overall appeal and latest technology. Tabetha bought the first brand new vehicle of her life; her Nacho Jeep Gladiator Mojave.R. Markham
Super fast service on my Wrangler, they did the repair while I waited. Will was my advisor and Sam was my tech. Super friendly and explained everything that needed to be done in detail. Purchase process was great too when I bought my Jeep (Jack was my sales person, and he was friendly, informative and helpful as well). This is now the fifth vehicle that we have bought from Sport Durst, and I will continue to come back to them.
I recently had to take my Mazda to Sports Durst Mazda in Durham for repair. Bobby Bradford was the service associate that assisted me. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. He was so nice and did a great job of explaining how the process worked as I waited for a diagnosis. Once it was determined the issue was something that would require a more in depth repair and ordering parts, Bobby explained everything and gave me several options to choose from. Since the vehicle would need to stay at the shop, he offered me a loaner vehicle so I could still have transportation. During the repair process Bobby would call me and keep me updated and did his best to offer me options to help reduce cost and recommended ways I could save money in the future and possibly do some additional maintenance on the vehicle engine while they were already working in it since it had 75,000 miles and it would be recommended to do so. My vehicle was fixed by the date and time he said it would be and within the cost savings he had helped me with. I highly recommend this service dealership. I have had oil changes and recall service done there as well and they do a great job with COVID precautions and there new building and waiting area is very nice.
I drove out of my way to get a new tire on my RAM today. I had a nail in it and when my Service Provider, Kaitlyn called the tire insurance provider, I really felt like she fought on my behalf to get the replacement tire covered.It’s one thing to be polite and pleasant in customer service, it’s another thing to go above and beyond and be an advocate for the people you’re servicing.The pride she had when she told me the insurance company (approved!) the replacement tire is something you don’t see much these day. She wanted to do good by me and was excited when she did.I’ll be driving from Raleigh to Chapel Hill to service my RAM with Sport-Durst from now on. Well done.
I can’t say enough good things about this dealership. I saw a car online Wednesday, submitted my information that night and drove off with it Saturday morning. From the sales people to the person who finalized all of our paperwork.David Stinson made trading in my old car and buying my new one easier than I ever expected. He was kind, attentive and made the whole process enjoyable. Sometimes test drives and buying a car can be awkward- not with David, we chatted and laughed and he explained ever step of the paperwork.We plan on buying another vehicle in the next year or so and there is no doubt in my mind who I am going to want to buy it from. I would make the 1.5 hour drive to purchase another vehicle from David without hesitation.
About three months ago I bought my vehicle from here and not even one oil change and I already need brakes on my car I went to the dealership and they told me they would do the work on the car if I bought the brakes well I need rotors and brakes from two other shops have told me. and my brakes are still not fixed after I went out and purchased The brake pads very upset with this dealership Wright now They also told me to bring the car back this morning and they would put the brakes on and still do not have my new brakes on don’t tell me one thing and then go back on your word not very professional
I have always experienced a professional and honest approach at this dealership!! I have to point out that Will ( service point advisor) goes above and beyond!! He insures that everything is fixed prior to picking up my jeep! The only negative is staff seem to be over worked and jobs tend to take longer than normal at times ( but that maybe because of warrenty constraints). Either way I would recommend the service department!

I started with Mazda over 10 years ago. Customer service at the service department was exceptional! I then got a Dodge minivan and got it serviced at their Sports Durst location as well. The first couple of years were great. Nothing to complain about. Then, it slowly but surely declined until it got to its possible worst since last years change in management. Those people wouldnt stay a day in my team. I can assure you of that. A few months ago, I dropped off my wifes car for tire replacement. I was told maybe an hour and a half. End of day, I called because no one did call me and found out they had to order the tires and would get them 3 days later.... i would at least have appreciated a call for to let me know... last month, I went for the replacement of my transmission. It took them over 2 weeks to fix it. Excuses were that they ordered the part, then lost it, then .... it was supposed to be 3 days repair I was initially told. Very little communication too. When I got to the dealership to get the car back, the service coordinator was loudly arguing with a mechanic in front of me about another clients car. Really pathetic. I sent the Manager text messages to let him know of the situation. Never heard back in a month... it clearly comes from the top and trickles down. I regret the past team I used to deal with even no later than 2 years ago...
I purchased my vehicle back in 2017. The first several trips I made the service and timing were great. The last few times I’ve been for an oil change have been terrible and have gotten worse each time. This last time was absolutely the worst experience ever. I checked in and was told it would take an hour to an hour and 15 mins. I waited an hour and a half and at that point they came and told the man who checked in after me his vehicle was ready. I went and questioned when mine would be ready. At that point they had not even started the oil change. I had to keep going back and inquiring about my vehicle. I watched as the technician aimlessly walking around and was obviously in no hurry to take care of my car. Oh course the man who checked in after me was of the same race. So I felt it was a racial issue. He kept saying about 15 more minutes which went on for another 45 mins. The text you get at the beginning of your service I responded to with my frustration and no one had the decency to reply or respond to that. Finally after 2 hours and repeatedly going back and asking it was finally ready. When I got in my car there was grease on the side of my door and all over my steering wheel. This is the absolute worst service I have ever had anywhere. I have been a loyal customer and have had all my service done there since I purchased my vehicle but I will not go back after the experience I had. $70 for a 2 hour wait, rude people, and my car returned dirty. Not to mention the racial preference that was obvious. I would have given a zero if possible
After sustaining a large hole in my front driver side tire that my sealant could not handle I was stranded out of state, as luck would have it I was 2 miles from this dealership. I was able to use the Dodge roadside assistance which was easy to set up and the tow truck driver was out to my location within the hour. The car was dropped off at the dealership where I met Will DeJonge, he was very professional and understanding of my situation being an out of state driver. He ordered a tire for me to get it there before the day ended, which meant I didnt need to get a hotel overnight. Will also offered a military discount as he had taken note of my plate, I was happy with the cost, and the experience. Thank you Will, and the crew at Sport Durst Dodge.
We can not say enough about our experience at Sport Durst! My husband talked to Trey Reeves (sales manager) about what we wanted to look at and when we arrived one of the two was up front and running! Our first salesman Charles was booked, so Norris Fletcher handled our sale. He told us were going to make this happen! and he did! To say we were impressed is an understatement, my husband is retired military and was absolutely floored by how organized and efficient Norris was. He and Trey put together a deal we did not think was possible! We picked the right team for sure! Before we left my husband walked over to thank Trey, who told him about his military family and that he wanted to thank us for our military service. My husband could hardly talk when he got back in our new Jeep! Please give these folks a try, they are AWESOME! He was very professional and knowledgeable about the SUV we were looking for. Jack never once tried to sell us something that wasnt what we wanted. He made our experience pleasant and honestly the fastest we have ever experienced. DEFINITELY ask for him if you want an amazing salesman who makes what you want his priority. I always receive such great service when I bring my vehicle to sport durst automotive. Will was very helpful and kept me well informed on the process as I waited. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle for any service. The staff does a great job on making sure everything is running smoothly and if their are any concerns they relay the information to you in a timely manner.

Great bunch of guys! I had a recurring issue on my Dodge Charger that I thought was fixed from another place but Armin and his crew knew exactly what it was right away and how to get it fixed. I’ve bought many cars in my life. I always expect to have a hard sell and to have to really negotiate a price. This has been the best car buying experience of my life. There was no hard sell. I was given a more than fair price for the vehicle I wanted. The salesman even came to my house in order to help set up the garage door opener which we couldn’t figure out. My hope and expectation is that this kind of service will continue when any service is needed. Five stars indeed.

Ive purchased a car at sport durst Mazda in Durham chapel hill blvd . Ive had nothing but positive experience with them . After the sales process, everything was fine. Landon and his assistant the South African guy both sale representative was truly exceptional. One needs to always keep in mind that they are part of a large corporation, so everyone has a boss. Did we run into problems, yes. But the difference between Mazda dealer and other dealers are theyre at a work with you to satisfactorily resolved the issue.

I was very happy and satisfied with my entire experience with Sport Durst Dodge. I had my car towed there on a Sunday, they called me very promptly on Monday morning. I spoke with Kurt, he was very polite, professional, and helpful. I was extremely fortunate and was able to have the initial work covered under warranty. He answered all of my questions very quickly. Aside from the mechanical issue I was having fixed, I messaged Kurt with two additional things to have done. It was no problem and it was all done without any further delays. I bought my car from this dealership. I had a good experience then and a good experience with this maintenance issue. I highly recommend Sport Durst and I will continue to go there for service. I really liked the communication by text message. Its so frustrating trying to call in somewhere and go through holds and transfers wasting time. Well NONE of that! I sent a text and directly and got a response very quickly! Super convenient!
The people here are too awesome. I met David Stinson, a salesman here that made my experience just smooth. Its not often that people enjoy the car buying process but, just working with them for a short period of time was cool, even when you dont buy a car at that time. Everything went well, but when the price didn’t work out and decided to walk out, the salesperson made very loud remark about loosing a bet (assuming he knew he wasn’t going to make the sale) and made sure that he said it twice so that we could hear it! Super rude! So much for professionalism!
The entire sales staff was awesome. Taylor was always available but low pressure. The sales manager,Greg, was awesome. This was low key, no pressure, and they gave me a price that was more than fair. I would definitely recommend them!

This was my first visit to Sport Durst. The service team squeezed me in last minute to fix my tire. Jamie was very helpful, courteous, and treated me as if I were a longtime loyal customer.
Bought a new vehicle 6 weeks ago and the dealer entirely failed to register /transfer plates from my trade. This has led to fines and lapse of insurance penalty on my trade in from NCDMV - and me driving an unregistered vehicle. Have reached out with no luck in resolving the issue, as the dealer tells me to go to the DMV, while I have already paid them processing and titling fees. No accountability and have yet to be contacted by management to resolve the issue. At this point I am stuck with a fine, an un-titled, unregistered vehicle and no resolution in site. BBB complaint will be filed.

Matt at Mazda was great to work with and did not pressure things along. He let me have time to think and provided me with all the right info. Once back in the finance office is where the pressuring came in to buy the unnecessary add ons. I just wish when you say no to something 3 times, they’d move on instead of continuing to pressure. Would definitely buy from Sport Durst again.

Coretta in the service department at Sport Durst Mazda in Durham did a great job helping to facilitate maintenance on my 2019 Mazda CX-9. I lost my keys while taking a jog, and needed a quick turn-around on a new set of keys. There were a couple of hiccups getting the new keys to work, but Coretta was persistent and acted in a very professional manner helping to get me back up and running as quickly as possible.

Overall positive experienceWe came in after 5:30 left with a car at 8:30- very quick, the only reason it even took this long is I had no idea the car that I wanted.Tracy was very Efficient and helpful! As well as all the other sales reps and the finance manager who is amazing btw.One thing I did that expedited the process and made it painless was getting a pre approval through capital one through their auto navigator program this is painless and very efficient.When you come into a dealership be efficient and have these things together:- your pay/paystubs-if you are trading a car in your 10 day pay off quote-any utility bills with your name on them for proof of address- insurance informationEtc.I promise this will not only provide a positive experience for you but your sales consultant as well!
Took $1000 deposit from us on a wrangler. We called the next 2 days canceling the deposit and asking for it back. They wrote down the wrong number from us and claimed they couldn’t get in touch with us when the wrangler arrived. Refuse to give us deposit back despite wranglers selling quickly. I will pursue in civil court. Hope it’s worth the poor review and the hassle for them.
My experience at the service/maintenance department for Jeep at Sport Durst in Durham, NC was horrible. Mr. Blake did not speak to me (only through a third person there) and made me feel horrible. He didn’t even want to look at me. After a tire was replaced in my car, I got home and check the tire pressures, they put too much air in the tire. How difficult is it to do things right? Why can’t they do something right? What kind of service are you offering your customers? I will never go back again to Sport Durst in Durham. Now I have to go to a local tire shop to get the pressure in my tires adjusted. This experience was just for a flat tire . I can’t imagine how it would be for anything else. I don’t trust them with my car.
After having an absolutely horrible, mysogynistic experience up the road at the Nissan dealership recently, I was hesitant to ever shop for a car again. My experience at Sport Durst, however, was simply great from start to finish. Sam gave me all the information I could ever possibly need about the CX-30 I came to test drive. He let me take a test drive by myself, which is almost certainly what made me determined to buy the car. Instead of feeling pressured while I drove it around, I really had the opportunity to figure out how everything worked and experience the car in full. Although there’s always some haggling when buying a new car, I didn’t feel pressured or talked down to during that process, which is something I’ve experienced frequently as a woman at car dealerships. After I completed the purchase, I appreciated that Sam sat with me in my new car and walked through any questions I had, as well as thoroughly explaining how many of the features worked. This was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I’ve had, and I love my new car!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience. We purchased a new Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo and have been very pleased with it so far. I am looking at replacing my truck and I’m definitely going to head back to Sport Durst.

Tracy Floyd was very helpful and patient with all my questions. Every car I had in mind from the every feature and price line he showed me and never pressured me into anything else. He did give me advice on things I didnt know about the car to help me find specifically what I wanted yet never aggressive about it. While we wanted on getting approved he talked with me and we got to know each other. I thank Tracy for helping me get my dream car!

The entire team at Sport Durst Mazda are great. I want to particularly highlight Cedric in sales and Coretta in service. BEWARE: $699 dealer fee not on any of their advertised listings--neither on their own website, nor on Autotrader--nowhere in any fine print. Neither the salesman nor the sales manager informed me of the fee until AFTER I gave my credit card for deposit AND did a hard pull on my credit. Salesman said it was non negotiable. No one could tell me what it was for. Bait and switch!
Mike Young really easy to work with on the lease. Super easy and very efficient. Finance Manager was quick as well. It did not take us super long once we settle on the lease price which we had done before visiting the showroom.
Two words for you: Will Dejonge. The man is kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and provides excellent information. Whether you are looking for a passionate lube job, or just need someone to help you with your grinding problem... He is the man for the job. My entire family loves Will Dejonge.
