I would pass on curbside pickup and ordering ahead. They rarely get it right. Today they only gave me half of my order and didn’t tell me until I was already there that they couldn’t fulfill it. I’ve gone here for a few projects and had a bad experience most of the time. Go to one of the other locations for much better service.
I bought new band saw and jigsaw blades. I love Home Depot. Its my favorite toy store for new tools

I requested a measurement for a carpeting quote. I was able to select a day and then notified I would receive a call between 7-9am with an arrival window. Then in that day, a man showed up at my door at 8am, and I was busy with my 3 kids and no where near ready for him to be there. When I told him I never received a call with an arrival window, he informed me in a rude tone that he called and texted. He kept pointing at his clipboard to show me he had proof, and rudely repeating himself. My potty training toddler had just had an accident on the carpet, so I told him it wasnt a good time. He said someone would call me to reschedule, and repeated again but I did call. Its true, when I checked my phone he had called 7:05 saying hed be there at 8. Less than an hour is not an arrival window, and not nearly enough notice for anyone who has kids to manage in the morning. I never received a call to reschedule either.However, I did receive a call from sales saying they had received my measurements and wanted me to pick out a carpet so they could provide my quote. Magic! That guy managed to measure without ever stepping foot in my house. I explained to the guy on the phone that my measurements were never done and I was in a tough spot because they are the only place selling the carpet I want, but the guy who came out was rude and I dont want him coming back. The sales guy said sorry you had that experience, let us know if you change your mind and hung up. Their scheduling process is frustrating and their employees are rude.
I was misinformed by a Home Depot Store employee on the install process. I wanted to pay for install when I purchased a Dreamline shower door from the Sawmill location. The employee said a Home Depot contractor would call me after the door was delivered. I thought that was a weird process but what do I know about Home Depot processes. I asked when they would call and he said in the next week. I also asked who would be calling and he said he could not tell me that because they have several companies that do the work. So, I agreed to have the door delivered to my house. Nobody ever called so I went back to Home Depot and they told me they had nobody that was certified to install the type of shower door I bought. I did not misunderstand what the first person told me. He was just wrong. So now I have a giant shower door in my garage which is impossible to return to the store. I started the search for a certified installer. There is one in Central Ohio and I am on his list for install. I would not have purchased the door if Home Depot told me they did not have an installer. I explained what happened to Home Depot in the hopes that they would not misinform other customers in the future. That is also why I am leaving this review. Plus maybe telling this story will be therapeutic since this whole experience was frustrating !
I love this Home Depot. I go there for all my hardware, gardening, and appliance needs. They are wonderful, very understanding return policy. I bought this grill and I love it. If you have questions or need help, the assistants will walk you through every step of the process. They recommend items that will help and never push the high end stuff. They are very truthful about what will work and what won’t. Then they try to find the most affordable item that meets the job. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this store. 5 stars hands down.
This place is the best. Great cocktails and Beer list and the owner gets unique premium bourbons on a regular basis. Food menu is good as well. This place is a welcome respite from the nearby bridge park providing a great place to catch up with friends.
I ordered a grill online picked it up via curbside later that evening. I get home and I began to assemble the grill, the grill is very greasy and some of the screws are greased over and stripped. I called the store and spoke with a customer service employee who said that I needed to take the grill apart in order to bring it back. In my head I thought that was too much. So I then put it in the dishwasher multiple times. I again attempt to finish assembling the grill after it had been scrubbed and ran through the dishwasher a couple of times. But because the screws were so stripped I was unable to complete it. I called the store back and asked to speak with the manager. The manager was somewhat helpful, she offered me a fully assembled grill that I can pick up on the next day and also stated that I did not have to take the grill apart. the next day I picked up the grill I get home to begin cooking to find out that the grill is missing the top rack. I call the store yet again, spoke to another manager this manager told me he will call me back after he would see if he could find another top rack. He called me back and I ended up receiving the top rack to the grill that I had previously brought back no sweat that part of the grill wasnt what was messed up anyway. But at no point did anyone offer me any type of recompense or compensation, for me having to come back and forth to the store not to mention being majorly inconvenienced. I normally dont have negative things to say about Home Depot but the fact that no one even offered to compensate me in any way for my inconvenience is very disappointing. Not to mention I spent about $30 in gas traveling back and forth, time was wasted, and an event that I was grilling for had to be postponed. Talk about annoyed!

My husband started a carpentry Job and needed so many tools. This place is so dependable and its only down the street. Very convenient and good quality tools.
I purchased a washer and dryer online from Home Depot, but if I had it to do over again, I would have gone in the store and worked with Mike in the appliance section. He is a very sincere, honest and genuine individual, and I feel as though I can fully trust what he tells me. He says it like it is, and I appreciate that. I encourage you to stop by and meet him next time youre in the store. Hes what I call a keeper, someone Home Depot should appreciate they have as an employee. The reason I gave a 3 star review is due to my experience with the installers, not with the store itself.
Im not sure who the employee was that was walking thru the tool department and helped me with my spark plug socket situation but he was excellent! Very helpful and on the money. He was maybe mid - late 30s, short hair. THANK YOU! 👍🏻👍🏻
They had the item that I wanted. Associate on the sales floor asked if he could help me getting the item off the shelf and putting it in my shopping cart since it was quite heavy. On my way to check out, another sales associate asked if she could assist me in completing my purchase, which I took advantage of. All in all, one of my best trips to Home Depot!
I visited both Lowes and Home Depot on this recent visit and honestly my visit to Lowes was based on convenience alone. As I often find, I wasnt really able to find the items I wanted so we went to Home Depot and found reliable, professional, and exceptionally helpful employees who took the time to help find each item we were looking for. Home Depot is a great place to shop and this store has great employees who are actually more than happy to help you out. This is a fantastic store!
I came to look soaker hose. Went to ask where I may find, they started to look up in computer, I said at suggested location I couldn’t locate. Another associate said they don’t have any as someone else also came and asked for it. I looked up on web with this store and they said aisle and quantity - quite a few available!!!I guess good to do your hw and consider a visitThank you Home Depot! New homeowner, so my wife and I have made many many many trips to Home Depot recently...We had been interested in a home water softener/treatment for our new home anyways, and we’re very happy to talk with a young woman from a company called Pure H2O. She must be responsible for outreach in the store, and was super friendly and helpful!Long story short, we decided to invest in their full house water treatment and couldn’t be happier! They came out and installed and everything looks and works great. My wife, myself, our pets, and our plants have never been happier or more hydrated!
I spent 7 grand in appliances for them to never show up on the delivery date. I called in with THEIR PAPERWORK they handed me after purchase for them to tell me “I’m wrong” on the delivery date. How am I wrong when I have the actual paperwork YOU handed me. I took a knock on my name at my place of employment to stay home for delivery and now it won’t even come. I will be canceling my order and going to LOWES. Also, I received absolutely no updates/ change of date on delivery on the 2 months I waited. No phone calls nothing.

Dont rent a truck from here. Usually I rent from Lowes or U-Haul, its pretty fast, in and out. Went to Home Depot because Lowes didnt have any. Sat there for 10 mins Apparently their system hadnt updated? After 30 mins of their system not having updated we just left. I wouldve been better off just waiting at the Lowes or paying $10 extra for a U-Haul. Home Depot makes how much in profits and cant even set up a single database properly, like come on.
I went there this morning to find a particular color paint. I asked the bald guy who worked in the paint section if he could help me find the paint to match the piece I had. He was very rude. He blantanly said “No! I am the only one working here today.!” He co ti yes doing what he was doing and ignored me. It would not have taken more than 30 seconds to assist me. I took my business to Lowe’s instead. His attitude was uncalled for and not fitting with what customer service should be about.
I was here 2 days ago. Met a young man, tall, kinda heavy. Good lad. He stopped me, late in the evening to take a survey. The survey was about water quality. At the end he asked for me to sign a document just to prove Im out here talking to people. So thats a straight up lie. To confirm, I read the signature block that constituted authorization to be contacted by Home Depot and its affiliates. I dont suspect thats how Home Depot needs to get money... and I know some honest veterans that dont have jobs. I dont go to home depot to be lied to, or sold a product. I go there for help. How do you trust employees that blatantly lie?
The staff are all super nice and helpful. This is the only Home Depot that I didnt have to go hunting for any assistance. We were in 3 different departments (outdoors grills/ smokers, paint shop, and lighting) each departments had someone to answer questions and look up products for us. Self check out even had 2 assistants to get us everyone taken care of.
It’s a Home Depot, same experience as all the others which is good. Staff here is friendly than other locations I’ve been to and they’re readily available/easy to find. Traffic in the are can be a bit crazy but that’s no surprise, just be aware.

The lumber area was disorganized and signs saying something about it being dangerous but areas that were blocked off were not clear and we got stuck in an aisle, the staff needed to get through so we had to move while trying to pick out wood. Also they share a parking lot with Sams Club which is basically the same as a Walmart parking lot.
I like it when i can speak with an employee that wants to assist me in my purchase and gave me vauable information i needed to know.
Returned paint mixed in error. Agreed to have paint manager try to fix. My mistake. 45 minutes later it was try this.Paint counter was a mess with manager trying to take care of three customers and me while the clerk stood by and mixed samples.

I ordered gifts online for curbside pickup. I wanted a pine wreath, also, but the website indicated none were available. So, my order was delivered to the store & I drove up to pick it up, aaaaannnd the store had wreaths outside, available for purchase. I called the store from the parking lot & paid for a wreath. Then I asked if I could just go grab it myself. The clerk went out of her way to go get a wreath, and bring it along with my curbside order. No contact. Great prices. Fabulous service with a smile.
It’s Home Depot, if you’re looking for the best Home Depot in the world I’m not sure where that is, it could be here. My normal wandering for a customer service rep to not avail is less here. I find staff a bit more helpful and polite than usual.
Things were fine. Most everyone (staff and customers) were wearing masks. Checkout was weird. Lots of staff standing around with only 2 isles open besides the you scan lanes.
Very nice store.almost every day I come here to buy something for work (locks, drills, tools - by the way, I bought all the tools for work here)there are very good promotions for goods. parking is super, staff are friendly. will be back again.
Ron in the paint department was super helpful in getting me the paints I needed to spruce up my house. He was also very careful to make accurate paint matches from the chips I had brought him from the walls. Thank you Ron!

Appliance delivery and installation is horrible. Ordered refrigerator april 10, 2021, botched delivery on April 20, 2021, left in garage, had to schedule plumber to change existing water line from cooper to whatever they now required April 22, 2021, scheduled to finish the install next available May 3, 2021. Fingers crossed May 3rd works out. We followed all pre install guidance but still issues. Customer service scheduling was awful.
Im somewhat familiar with this store. Greeted upon entry & thanked for my service. I m a Navy veteran and wear a face mask that indicates that. Masks were worn by all. Im somewhat familiar with this store but no one asked if they could help me find something. As a past HD employee & current stock holder I do find this upsetting. Hopefully it will improve.Wont stop me from going back if needed & I typically will ask for assistance if I need it.

Just when we all want to avoid touching things, they introduced checkouts with pistol like scanners for customers to hold. And the checkout voice prompts are loud. Not pleasant at all checking out. This is a company issue.The employees are variable, as people are, but often really helpful once you get talking. The garden area staff leave something to be desired. (Go to the nursery on 161.) Electrical supplies and cabinets, great when you get someone to talk with you. Lumber and paint very patchy.
I had no issue getting my order and the line was short.
Pro customer-been standing in line for over 20 minutes. One man working the desk the first business day after a holiday. Line wrapped back into lumber. No managers coming to help, one guy just slowly moving around the desk. Multiple people came and went, eating lunch, playing on their phones behind the desk. Gentleman couldn’t even check me out due to baseboard I was attempting to purchase being a broken apart pro-pack put in the wrong spot. Over 40 minutes wasted. Worst depot experience by far.
I purchased cabinet pulls on line from this Home Depot. The order got a bit confused, and when I came in to pick them up, they couldn’t find them. But several employees at the Service desk, particularly TJ, looked everywhere, got others involved to help, and even opened all the pick-up lockers to see if they’d been misplaced. TJ didn’t stop until she found them.I sincerely appreciate TJ and the others who helped. Excellent Customer Service.
4th store to give me yet another reason why they cant price match another depot 15 minutes away. Thats quite the guarantee to turn away a customer with $1000 worth of tools in the cart purchased online over a $30 price match on another tool. It really baffles me

The rudest customer service attitude ever. One senior female associate handling my return, did not greet me, nor smile, she let me stand by her register while chatting to other associates as if I did not exist. I gave up and decided to go to Hilliard Home Depot instead for my return of a single item defective within 30 days with receipt! I would give her NEGATIVE ⭐️!

I used to love them, but they have some staffs just do not know what they are doing and it just way to hard to find help when you need assistance. No one seem to know who is supposed to help in different area. I waited forever for someone to help me multiple times. I wish they have a better system to keep track on who is taking care of what section of the store.
Poor service at this location. We had spent thousands of dollars from Home Depot recently for home appliances but the store manager could not adjust a mere $50 delivery fee waiver on a potential new purchase; with the already poor and bad service we had recently. Mixture of pleasant and unpleasant people; will never ever ever shop at at this Sawmill location or any Home Depot elsewhere. Shame!!

Nonexistent customer service!I went in to purchase a replacement battery for my lawnmower. I wasn’t thrilled about dropping $150 in the first place, but my grass is getting tall and I was already in the neighborhood. I checked the HD website to confirm stock of the item first before making the trip.The shelf where the item was stocked was empty. I looked around their upper shelving nearby for back stock to no avail. The individual working the area avoided me the entire time.Forty-five minutes of my life was wasted waiting for no more than average customer service. I left empty-handed. Avoid this location!
Do not use curbside pickup on a weekend. No one answers the phone that you are directed to call. Someone finally came to our car to assist us. 20 minutes later, we were still waiting for our order. Home Depot staff member just sat a a picnic table when she could have retrieved our order. We gave up and cancelled the order. They really do not have any type of systematic approach to their curbside pick-up. Hilliard location does much better with this service.
You can find everything you want here for your home. We were so happy with the items that we bought and very excited. But some people who work there know nothing about the store. We asked many times about things that we need so we do not have to run inside the whole store and two different employees gave us wrong directions two times. And a third one in the garden area refused to help when we asked him and he said i have another coustomer to handle, i cannot help you. We waited for him to finish and come to us but he did not came, he just forgot about us. And the last thing which really ruined our day was the cashier. She asked my dad if he want to save $25 if he opened the home depot credit card. My dad said sure why not. My dads credit score is excellent and he has good credit cards with huge amouts, but his driver license was still on his old address and the cashier insisted on putting my dads old address which is very wrong. I worked at Target before and i opened many credit cards for people and when i had a stiuations like this we have to put the customers new address even if it is not matched with the one in his driver license. So the computer rejected my dads application and the only thing he will gain from that that his credit score will go down!! But, she gave us some discount at the end, but this will not help. I think she shoould have called a supervisor and asked him if she was not sure of what she were doing. She was very nice though.

Its a home depot, man. You know why youre there, to walk a football fields worth of paint and appliances so you can find a washer for that screw that popped out of the door frame. Yeah, its all the way on the other side of the store. No, you cant find it anywhere else, now start walking.
Customer service is nil. Confusing layout, workers would rather ignore you and run into you while making eye contact than ask if you need help! Took my purchase to a different store! I spent $400 on a grill too, not to mention another $200 on lounge chairs for my mom for Mother’s Day. Happy to take my money elsewhere!
