I have always tooken my car to get serviced their and I love the great customer service. I love how clean and maintained that dealership is. I was in a time crunch and wasn’t aware how long my service would take. Issac was so helpful and gave me a time frame that was reasonable given the customers ahead of me. I was surprised when he called me and told me my car was ready which was earlier than expected. I was very grateful and really liked his professionalism.

The advisor tried to charge me an extra $25 and lied about his reasoning behind the extra charge. He said prices were increased the week prior however, I made my appointment 2 days before the day of service and was told a different price for the service I went in for. It took 2 hours for the oil on my car to be heaved because the dealership decided to have their Halloween celebration in the lobby with all employees. The unprofessionalism of this dealership is unbelievable and disgusting. I will not be returning here nor will I recommend anyone to a dealership that tried to steal money.

I thought I would be overwhelmed, but my father and I were assisted by Austin who was an helpful informant and a positive influence. He is proactive and efficient when it comes to knowledge about cars and assistance. It’s definitely worth coming here to get your car and ensure a comfortable experience.
We purchased a vehicle last year. When in financing they provided us a better rate but only if we purchased the extended warranty and gap coverage. A month ago we priced both of these and were able to save thousands of dollars elsewhere so we called the dealership and requested to cancel the ones purchased from them. They have not been helpful at all and have given us nothing but the run around to the point that we had to call Corporate Nissan and open a case to cancel directly with them. I am still waiting g for call backs and reply from Downey Nissan. If they arent selling you something they dont care to deal with you. Beware!

Terrible service. Made an appt for 7:15am on Monday and got my car a on Wednesday at 5:30pm. My car was taken to get 1 small thing done, replace a portion of the grill. I took them 3 days to complete the job and they did not provide a rental. Keep in mind this is a new car 2021 that was purchased in July of this year, 2021. I never met my advisor, the only reason I even spoke with him over the phone was because I called in to get a status (since they never called to give me one) and they still said my car might not be ready that day that it would probably take another day. By some miracle, a few hours after my call, I received a text with a video of the service getting done on my car. I then replied to the text asking if I can pick up my car and only then did I get a call from my advisor letting me know my car was ready. Downey Nissan might be #1 in sales but in the service area they need serious help.

I was calling at 930 I’m the morning to ask for floor mat for the car.. the Recptionist lady who took the call was very nice. Told her I needed to get transferred to parts and so she did and I just clicked again to transfer to parts; some guy answered nice in the beginning and asked him how much they were and he he checked and I told him oh ok let me talk it over with my bf and he seemed bother he said if you want it u can come to the to the dealer cause you have to prepay it but he sounded very rude after and just hanged up
With the help of Jason DeLa Torre my husband bought me a new 2021 Nissan Versa on July 2, 2021. The part that I never enjoy is when customer service comes up to you who wants to help you only to pressure you. However, what I enjoyed about this place and especially when you are waiting for service, is that they have a waiting area where you feel like home for some reason. They have chairs where you can sit even in your own privacy if you wanted to and treats like coffee, soda machines or snack machines and even free desserts that you can help yourself to. By the way, as I was being approached about being helped, I decided to choose my own person or customer service only because he didnt seem like he was pressuring and he was minding his own business. I was helped! It was a peaceful shopping day. What car dealership will you go into an experienced pesty customer service? But I was at peace. That place is clean.

I, came twice to this dealer looking to buy a toyota CHR. Jesus approach was very courteous from the shake hand till i left, because could not reach deal. Went back two weeks later and jesus was my salesman. He dis everything as a sales person to get the deal done. Even though he was not the manager but his effort and willingness to see the customer happy is a plus, you dont see that often. If you looking for a good treatment go see Jesus..

My check engine light was on, I was able to make an appointment for the next morning. I was greeted at the appointment area and taken in. Chris Deleon answered all my questions and was very informative. I was able to get my car fixed and returned the same day. Chris also made sure to return my hydroflask that I accidentally left at his desk. Great service.
Please stay away. Very very horrible service. I feel so neglected with my sales person and can’t even talk about her supervisor. The front desk couldn’t help me at all as well. Unfortunately I purchased and signed a contact for a vehicle with them. It has been about 5 days and the still have not provided any information nor the vehicle to me. What really upsets me is that I do get any updates on where we stand. I have to keep calling to see what’s going on. They messed up the paperwork but did not notice until after we were done signing all the work which took about 2 hours. I gave them a deposit and signed away my vehicle. Therefore I still do not have a car. I requested to cancel everything and get my car and money back and they also do not allow me to do that. I have no updates and feel so neglected by this company. I do NOT recommend this dealership. Every time I call I get placed on hold and then hung up. Please do not waist your time and money with the dealership.

I purchased some parts for my fathers 2004 Nissan Sentra, and I saw a sun shield I thought would fit my pick up truck. I bought It and walked out the dealership door got on my puck up and tried the sun shield it was too big for the front windshield. I had all of the packaging intact. Walked back inside and asked for a credit on the item I bought receipt on hand not even 20 minutes after I bought it. The boy at the counter refused to give me credit for it. Lousy service on a $30.00 Item these people would rather loose a customer than do the right thing. I will never shop there again
I recently bought a rogue and the salesman was good but the problem I had was that Downey Nissan did a hard credit check on me even though I came in with a check issued from my bank for the whole cost. I felt that it was unnecessary to do that and I was upset about it.
Over all service from the advisor was great, but after the oil change my car is not running right Im sorry to say.

My recent experience was excellent. Ramon provided phenomenal customer service and made sure I had a ride home with the shuttle meanwhile my car was getting the maintenance it needed.
In May 2021 I purchased a brand new Nissan NV 2500, what a mistake! I purchased the vehicle new from Downey Nissan in California. The dealership was atrocious, I went to the dealership and later made an offer that was accepted via text. When I got to the dealership it was a whole nother story, they tried to force backup Nissan funding on me when I was financing and pre-approved through my credit union and only needed a purchase order. They insisted on financial information and then tied to charge a different price if I financed through a third-party rather than Nissan financing. They concealed the uplift promotion from Nissan Corp. And said they only offer that to a Selected Few. What should have taken half an hour on my second visit ended up taking hours! They were relentless on the Nissan financing! Horrible experience! I wish the story ended there but it does not. It was time for my 5,000 my oil change and I also caught a nail in a tire, (my fault) I also wanted to report three minor warranty issues. After the bad experience with Downey Nissan I decided to take the vehicle to another dealership, Nissan of San Juan Capistrano was closer to me anyway. They inspected and then took pictures of my vehicle, I dropped it off and went to have breakfast. I am meticulous with my new vehicle and know every inch of it! Upon pickup of the vehicle I noticed that it had a paint chip over the bumper and the body paint and after closer inspection noticed chipped paint at Hood Edge, scratches to the rear bumper the rim scraped in several spots and grease marks near my Jack that they had to use for the tire repair. Some additional marks under the hood that I cant be sure about. I reported the damage and I was told they would check it out at the next service of which I prepaid for 3, and wont be using due to the damage! The vehicle had major issues since delivery, loose steering so loose that in the wind you practically lose control of the vehicle. Cracking paint at roof likely caused by misalignment of box. And horrible gas mileage 10 to 11 miles per gallon in an unladen NV 2500 s, 4.0, 5 speed Auto. Nissan has started a claim, but Im not very optimistic? Offered to sell the vehicle back for safety purposes but they seemed hesitant. I have owned two previous Nissans and was very happy with over 300K on each. Not the way a new car purchase experience should be! Now I have to spend my time to repair a new Nissan? I will NEVER purchase another Nissan!
Unlike other service departments I’ve been to, this one by far was the best experience. I had no appointment and went for a simple oil change. I remember talking to Maury and he was super helpful and professional! I thought I was gonna wait forever but they took my car right away to start working on it. Not only that but the mechanics are very detailed and thorough on how they conduct maintenance. I love the fact that I was sent a video overview on the maintenance process and the mechanic explained it very well in detail. Over all, my experience was wonderful and I will now be making this my home Nissan dealership.

Went in for regular maintenance service and anything else I could afford to get done on my car. Have always brought my car here and sometimes its a hit or miss on who helps you out but Andres Padilla did an amazing job. He took care if me and helped me out with all my questions. Andres also helped me save a on my service work once I showed him my email coupon. He helped me out with my sunbit request and took care of the paper work since I was cutting it close to closing time and the cashier apparently was ready to leave. He came across very genuine which was great because he made it feel like he was looking out for my best interest and that of my car. Great service fro his end.

Customer service is good... I take my 2020 kicks for service at this location and i have no complaints. An oil change and tire rotation estimated time was 1 hour... They wash ur car too after the service but thats another 30-40 minute wait time.. If i had the time i would wait but i rather not. Its a cool location.

Every time I come here there’s an issue to get service. This last time specifically, I made an appointment for a recall, and the appointment was made over a month ago. I received a confirmation text and confirmed, and called off work since I knew it might be a process. I get there for my appointment for them to tell me they don’t have the part. But why send a confirmation text and the appointment was made a month ago. Fast forward, after arguing my point, they said they would fix the recall after all, but just put a note that my car is having trouble starting in order to begin the work on it for the recall. I’m not sure why I had to go through extras but it seems like they cater to other demographics than mine. But always a difficult experience. Things NEVER go smooth but this is the dealership I got the car from unfortunately
I especially liked the video sent me that showed the various items that were checked out on the car under the inspection. It made it a very positive experience.

The service department was extremely helpful,and courteous. The sales department was an absolute nightmare. The sales person that initially helped me was very polite and honest. Unfortunately, when we were working out a deal for my car the manager was called over. He was very arrogant and pushy he definitely wanted to take advantage of the situation. I would be a 2nd time buyer here I was looking to ultimately trade in my car. Downey Nissan is that one that reached out to I was excited to come in, but no it was terrible horrible manager very arrogant and demanding. I was even suggested to keep “saving” my money and come back when I had a bigger down payment. When I was told if I had co-signer ( I didn’t) he said these exact words “ you don’t have some one or you don’t want to ask anyone ? Why can’t anyone help you” if they can’t help me what is it to him? What a terrible experience I left very discouraged.

I recently leased a new vehicle from Downey Nissan. It was the best car shopping experience I have ever had. My sales person, Zulma, went above and beyond. From the start, I could tell she was working hard to establish trust and to be open and upfront about pricing. We had a deal before I even stepped onto the lot. She knew I was driving from out of town to pick up the vehicle and had to get back to work. She had everything ready for me to get in and out in my new vehicle quickly. Even though I am about 1.5 hours away, I am considering making the drive to Downey Nissan for service and definitely to shop for my next car.
Found A Great Deal and Super Service from Ricky. I have been watching for a clean BMW M6. I found Downey Nissan online and inquired for a Salesman to do a detail walk around inside and out and inform me of his findings. Ricky stepped up to the pump and took a ton of pics for me. He also went to bat for me on price negotiation. They knew what they had and in fact they didnt really want it to go out of state but instead use it as a loss leader. Ive been trying for weeks now to get my copy of an amended purchase contract from Downey Nissan. I went in for a diagnostic test on my car, dropped the car off at 8:45 am on Tuesday . I had no advisor call me I had to call to get updates on my vehicle . I called at 3pm they let me know my vehicle was still being looked at. I again called at 5:50pm, with service being closed at 6, I asked to see if my car was staying there overnight because I have yet for someone to call me. Advisor went ahead and informed me that the car was still being looked at so it will stay there over night. Prior to me calling they didn’t let me know any updates or atleast give me a heads up that the car probably stay over night. Wednesday afternoon I called because I still did NOT receive any information on my vehicle advisor said they think that the issue is a sensor so they will go ahead and change it so then I asked the price or if I have warranty because major communication was lacked. He said i had warranty so it will be at no cost. Frustrated at this point because of lack of communication had to last minute change my schedule call off work due to no car. I called the manager he said he understood and will coach advisor on better communication. He said to give him a second to check the status with my vehicle and he will give me a call back. I soon got a call from the advisor to give me an update to let me know what was going on with the car and let me know that the sensor was going to be changed then they will test drive and it will be ready for pick up if there isn’t any problems. I got the call for pick up at around 4:30 pm. Driving to work on Thursday afternoon my malfunction shows again on the dashboard. I called Nissan this morning and I’m currently waiting for service manager to give me a call back. Extremely frustrated at the experience I’ve had especially it being my first time dealing with the dealer for service.
I did not like the amount of time it took. I had to take a day off from work and the next the car was still not done so I had to Uber to work and the company didn’t offer any assistance in getting a ride. Originally the paperwork stated I would get the car by the same day at 6, instead I got it the following day at 3pm
Mark Lee was incredible from start to finish. He followed through and kept his word. Excellent experience. Will definitely do business with them again.

My light went on to get a oil change on Tuesday morning. I called and they didnt hesitate to tell me to take the car in. Once there the rest was history. I purchase my car at the cerritos location but the service in Downey is the best, everyone is very professional.
