Worst experience ever. They make you wait hours, they upsell you and then as soon as they make the sale they want nothing to do with you. Horrible customer service. Others waiting in line told me they always have this issue. Doing all my sales online from now on. The online representatives are more helpful and nicer than the people here.
Tried to use one of my old phones as a trade in that I checked online I could use. Went to the store and they told me it was locked and could not be used on Verizon even though I bought the phone from the same store and it had been paid off. Verizon is the only company I have ever used called customer support waited on hold for 30 minutes decided all the hassle was not worth upgrading and giving them more money.

The staff tried to be helpful, but they couldnt make my phone work properly. Because of covid I stood outside while they worked on it. It was cold.. Getting help involved giving them your cell number and waiting for a phone call. The whole process seemed disorganized.

Good customer service but I am paying for 5g service on my new note 21 ultra 5g but verizon only has 4g service....thats sad when I pay $98 a month for my 📱 and samsung galaxy active 3 watch that has its own cell service as well. They are extremely overpriced compared to mint mobile.
Very nice customer service. Only drawback is plan to go early and stand in line outside until allowed in store. But thats not a complaint. Its much safer that way with the amount of local covid cases. Was a great experience!
If you have any concerns about your account, they cant help you. They are only there to sell you something. Thats too bad, cause you cant get anything done with customer service on the phone. The guy was as nice as he can be, but being nice doesnt fix all of Verizons issues. Cant believe I spend over $400 a month with them🙄
Both Megans were Soooo extremely AMAZING! Check in was quick easy and non-painful. The Megan that got us sorted out after the horrible tech coach experience was very efficient. Hands down will make the trip to Dothan when we have to visit a store again.

Hate it. Was a long time ATT for many yrsSwitched only because of coverage area. But have a few yrs of poor customer service, I just cant stand it anymore. They provide no tech help at all at this location. Only thing they care about is getting you to spend more money. Stopped by the local att store and not only Bree fix my problem she did so knowing I was a Verizon customer. After doing so I decided it was time for an upgrade with ATT and 2 new phones for me and my wife. I recommend ATT go see Bree and tell I sent you.

I came twice in a week, and was here for two hours both times and had to sit in the floor because the chairs were removed. And after all of that my problem didn’t even get solved.
The people there are courteous and seem to be knowledgeable. However, they say they cannot take the contacts, photos, etc. from my old phone and transfer them to my new phone. That makes no sense at all. Both phones were purchased from Verizon. They say they used to be able to do it but cannot now. That sounds like a downgrade in customer service. But they are nice to me.Verizon: Apologies mean little. Transfer my data and I’ll be happy.

Very busy, I had to stand in a long line outside the building. The wait was not long though, a customer service rep came out to ask what everyone was there for and gave directions so we would be ready when we got inside. Some people didnt even have to go inside because the rep was able to answer their questions.

The services here is very useless. Close this store down!!!! My 7 year old granddaughter has more electronics sense then the customers service representative here. But we here to sale phones,I was told. We not here to troubleshoot. Oh really I can sale phones and still be great with knowledge of the product.
HORRIBLE Staff works off of COMMISSION!!! Very UNETHICAL!!! Im trying to replace a phone, online it shows they have at the store, yet the sales-person said they dont have it. Even if they dont have that model in stock--offer something comparable--not the latest and greatest. Furthermore, when I called the Verizon customer/hotline, the man on the phone told me Dothan had 2 in stock.
I love my phone service. But this place is absolutely rude and are excellent examples of absolute horrendous customer service. I know of many people not just my self that have had horrible experiences here. Staff has NO training. And have no idea of the term customer service. And the blonde lady up front is the 100% worst person Ive ever dealt with. Completely rude.
Disappointed during recent visit. No stock, cant touch anything, and told to shop online and find what I want and then come back.. Understand the current situation but leaving my 14 yr old outside so I can go in unacceptable. Was better before COVID so many they will be better later.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made a visit today with my 90 year old grandmother to find out why her phone wouldn’t make a call. Prior to this visit, I had tried to solve it online as well as on the phone and was unsuccessful. So our last resort was the store, after waiting outside in the heat for 40 minutes, only she was allowed to go inside so I waited. After about 5 minutes she came back out and was very upset. She explained to me how they refused to help and insisted that she had to call the number provided. She asked if they could call for her, obviously as her phone would not make calls, and they rudely denied pretty much saying that they were there to make sales. The people there to help couldn’t go out of their way for 5 minutes to help her call. Terrible service and the verizon near us closed. We will not be going back and will most likely be switching carriers.
This is a great company if you sign a contract with them if you prefer not to have a contract you will never get service in this door again. Even though the credit score is 845 p we just dont want contracts since we pay month-by-month we are third class citizens and cannot get any help from the store
Go to another one. This is not a real Verizon store despite what they say. Everything you’ll experience here is anything but what you get or expect from a Verizon store. From the attitudes to the long wait for service, poor hygiene, and hearing them taking advantage of all the old folks in there telling most of them they need new phones. Why totally bsing them the whole time. This is a terrible place, I’ve seen less crooks in a court house. You May have to drive a bit further, but believe me you’ll be happier that you did. Hope this helps someone make their decision on where there choose to do their business. This place definitely doesn’t value yours at all. Wait I take some back, they may just a little bit if and only if you let them trick you into thinking you need a new phone. However you still won’t escape the wait time the rudeness or just having to listen to them scam the elderly. Made me sick personally. Really, really miss good customer service.

I have only had one bad experience at same location. The representative was more interested in making sure my friend had the credit to purchase a new phone. I was bring a new customer to the establishment. My friend was new to cellphones. How was he expected to buy a cellphone if he did not a clue as to which one to get? Today, I took two friends to this location, they received the customer service I was expecting, fantastic customer service.

Very poor experience here. I understand things are limited/restricted right now due to the pandemic. However, that doesn’t mean let someone stand IN THE POURING RAIN while you look for my order. Whoever the security person was at the door didn’t even let me under the awning. I got no chance to ask questions. I was told when I ordered my phone online yesterday that they would handle my phone trade in. The lady literally just handed me my new phone in a bag and walked back inside.I had originally stopped at the other Verizon in town (over by Flowers) because that’s where I asked for the pickup to be done (I gave the zip code to the retail associate on the Verizon online chat) and they were very nice and didn’t stop me from coming in the store.
It was on Friday around noon when I arrived. The parking lot was full. I actually had to wait until someone left to get a parking space. When I went in, a female employee approached me in a very courteous manner, and asked me pertinent info about the nature of my visit. After explaining why I was there, she entered me into the computer, and advised me that someone would be with me shortly. The wait was no longer than 10 minutes, and the employee who assisted me explained very nicely what I needed to do to solve the issue. He was also very courteous.

Just wanna say, that if you are in Dothan and need to visit Verizon DO NOT go to the one on the circle. Go to the one by Flowers Hospital on Apple Ave. They have much better service and staff, they are way more patient!

This is for the Verizon store on the circle. My first experience was great when they wanted me and my husbands business. I just got my first bill and I went to the store to pay it. I did not know I had to pay my bill at a kiosk. I asked an employee if she was busy and she sighed and said yes. I told her why I was there and she told me where to go. I wouldnt have bothered her if I knew where to pay the damn bill. She was helpful in showing me where to go, but she had a subtle attitude. I felt like I was treated as a inconvenience to her job. What happened to customer service? I think I may look into canceling our contract because I dont see myself having to deal with this month after month with people like her. It seems that everyone is having problems with the rude employees there. Verizon needs to do something because next time, Im calling corporate.

I could go into a long story about why I needed to speak to a manager but to make a long story short the manager told me I had to speak with a sales representative instead. I called the customer service line. I told him my story and he was concerned about the situation. He filed the complaint to the district manager. My hope is that this particular store receives better training. I never had a problem with a Verizon store before. I will change my rating if I have to visit this store again and have a better experience.
I needed a sims card. It took 20 min. 2 get one. Person greeting put names on her tablet, but when clerks wanted 2 help another customer, they had 2 wait for her 2 give names. Always interrupting the new customer talking so she could help one already in store.
There are never enough workers to handle the volume of customers. It takes about 2 hours to get through your purchase. They need more people working. Your best bet would be to order through online or over the telephone.
When we got there just to ask a simple yes or no question. We had to I guess like sign in for some one to assist us. Employees standing around not doing anything. What really got me was a elderly person came to pay a bill they didnt even show her to payment center, or how to use it and told her that it was over a 30 minute wait just to pay her bill so I assisted her because we had already been waiting 20 minutes and then we left with no service. Mind you there several employees in store not doing anything but standing around talking. I am not and will not be a Verizon customer with that kind of service. No acknowledgement that we were even still in the store. Someone assist you. We didnt get anything.
So many lies just to get your business. What the big guy told us our monthly bill WOULD be was about half of what it actually ended up being. We were told we would get Visa cards, never happened. I do not know how these people sleep at night, KNOWING they are down right lying to people.EDIT: below you see Response From Owner.....all they did was take the city and state of the store, thats it.

Understaffed, without a shred of Common Sense. Went there to try and upgrade the two phones on our account, can only send in one person at a time, should not look at or touch the phones, employees could not answer any questions about the phones, and were expressly lied to when they said they could not touch the phones and yet earlier we saw an employee holding out two phones for another customer to choose from. This visit has been out final straw with Virizon after over 20 years as a customer, and we will be taking out business elsewhere.
Service is usually pretty good but every now and then you get someone who has no idea what theyre doing. Waits can be long on busy days but usually arent that bad.

Received very poor service from a representative, Howard. He kept pushing a free Motorola phone that my family did not want. I dont know what incentive he had on getting those phones out of the store but thats all that was on his mind and he wouldnt stop. He surprisingly developed an obvious attitude when we didnt go that route. Poor service for sure. We left the store.Second visit a couple days later, we had a different representative, I think his name was Maurice. He provided fantastic service. He cared about the customers need and desire and did everything to be a help. Even though we brought in our own used phone for activation. He went above and beyond.Basically, its hit or miss at this store. It might help if a manager were reading and responding to these reviews like other businesses do.

I tried to pay them by phone it said I am a non customer, so I cant pay it that way . So I went to their store and I waited outside for like 45 mins I get inside and the guy says you have to go . He said to me get out now ! He was wanting to push me out ! He said its because I didnt have a mask on . DO NOT DEAL WITH VERIZON !!!!!!! Iwanted to pubc
Verizon is getting too big. It has lost the customer service that it used to be famous for. What it does have going for it is great cell phone coverage. As soon as a competitor gets close to the same coverage, Im going with them.
It was a nightmare experience there and I’ll never go back there again.I got there on a Friday night about 1:20 mins before closing to have a number ported into a Verizon phone I purchased on FB. Some how AT&T sent my phone number and Verizon said they didn’t receive it. Sounds crazy and it was. The girl waiting on me told me they were fixing to close and I had no phone, or no phone service like I did when I arrived. I told them I wasn’t leaving until the straighten this out. The girl left but the manager reluctantly stayed and straighten it out. I’d never go back there or have Verizon service in this life time. RUDE LAZY UNINFORMED EMPLOYEES!

Can be more helpful and not so short with customers! When a store argures with the home office while your standing there in FRONT of the customer, lets say they have issues, and change your pricing which we had for 5 + yrs.
