The best Iraqi food restaurant in Colorado. The food really delicious and I go there every week to get lunch from them contain: rice, whole grilled chicken and different vegetables soup like okra soap and eggplant, onion, pepper and potato soup. I also like their fresh Iraqi bread like Samon and whole wheat bread. Their price really good and not expensive at all.

As long as Im in Colorado this the only place I will eat in! Everything is amazing and clean! the only place in the United States I ate falafel thats just like the street falafel in ramallah, and my 2nd visit I ate some rice with okra and beef, it was no different the how good my mom makes it. Thats how good it was! Best kitchen and true authentic food. Highly recommended!

Wowee! It’s hard to decide where to start in the area for Middle Eastern, but Gulzar turned out to be a great choice. I got eggplant tomato “stew” (not sure of the actual name of the dish) and hubs got falafel. Plus a rotisserie chicken for later because they looked too good. Everything was super delicious and the people were friendly. Will definitely be back for prepared food and groceries. Sorry; no pics — we ate it all too fast!

At first the prices were fine then out of the blue the prices went up high and the food equality went low thats for sure, the food did not have a taste I ordered there multiple times and the food was not salted!! Then we tried to talk to the owner he said “its because its halal and its homemade food” in other words they started good then they went down hill.DISAPPOINTED

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain a lot of the food options to me and helped me find what I was looking for. Definitely try the tanori bread when it’s fresh out of the oven along with their halal kebab. You won’t regret it!

Ordered one ground chicken and one ground beef kabob. It was frozen in the middle, tasted bad, and tasted microwaved. I waited over 20 minutes-reasonable to cook food. Came home and threw it in the garbage-totally inedible and I was worried I was going to get food poisoning. Market items okay.

I truly believe that the Aurora area was missing a good place to eat with good attitude employees, they are super friendly and welcoming and this is a key in hospitality businesses. The people at the restaurant were happy to see us and offered us to sample the chicken shawarma which was amazing! Almost the same as what I’m used to in the Middle East, good variety of kebabs to choose from. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu Insha-Allah. Wish you guys the best.

I had not been back for a year and was upset because the prices were higher.....But...... IT WAS WORTH THE LITTLE EXTRA!!!!! GULZAR HAS THE BEST FLAVOR. I will return!!!!

I found this place six months ago,They have the best pita bread in Denver, Fresh out of the oven,The food is amazing, Safaa the chef make amazing food, real authentic Mediterranean food,The place is clean and the staff is very nice 👍

Do these people know what customer service is? Theyre taking it for granted. First, theyre not wearing masks. Then, I shopped there today and I got the worst customer treatment ever. I was putting the stuff on the counter to be scanned for check out and the cashier man has his cellphone on it. I said can you take your phone? so I can find a place to put the stuff. He said Angry man. I said excuse me? He repeated Are you angry? I said yes to see how is he going to act. He stepped out and said I refuse to charge you. I said I need to talk to your manager. He called for a lady who started to apologize first, then she said hes a good man. I asked her what action are you going to take. She said nothing.Shes openly standing with the employee against the customer who is paying for their living and supporting their business. I regret every penny I spent there in the past, and no one should support this business till they learn how to treat their customers.

The food was amazing and the women that makes it is absolutely one of the nicest people and so helpful her food is so good, it brings a piece to my soul, especially the lamb. The store is clean and I apologize I cant remember the womens name who cooks the food but her personality was was, and her smile makes you want to buy all her food.

I bought halal chicken here yesterday - I came home and it smelled so stinky like its gone bad - they should not be selling meat thats gone bad. Im going to throw it away now but I suggest anyone buying here to first smell the chicken/meat before buying it.

We were visting Colorado for the holidays and came across this place from Google. We were looking to buy lamb and goat meat...which thry do have.. Fresh cheeses, nice freezer selection of meats, bakery, groceries, and restaurants. Our. New spot when we come to townBaklava was fresh, crispy crunchy just the right touch of sweetness from the honeyOrdered the lamb shank came with rice, salad, hummus, it was delicious! Tender, flavorful !We plan on going back to try something different. It all smelled and looked delicious.

3rd time shopping there. The store had Friendly staff and impressive diversity of items. The last time I went there for halal beef, my experience was not as pleasant. The meet I bought was rotten. It has a pretty bad smell right when I opened it.

They lay their flat bread out on a table out back of the store, employees do not wash their hands and handle the bread with bare hands while packaging it in plastic bags for sale. Employees smoke cigarettes and then turn and handle bread without washing their hands . Unsanitary and definitelt not a healthy way to handle food.

We bought a box of meat kebab from this marke, the upper pieces were good but the ones that were placed underneath were all burned out and inedible . You shouldve thrown those burned pieces away instead of covering them with the good ones and selling them to people . Nobody could eat that with a lot of money paid for it.
