I usually prefer smaller, older Whole Foods stores. But, this particular location smokes fish and other seafood in-house and its pretty darned good. Im from the PNW and its a taste of home. Selection of products is generally good and store is well-kept.
Dollar oysters on Friday sounds great. And I’ve purchased them before at 3 different Whole Foods and I have been completely satisfied. Today’s experience was horrible.I purchased 13 oysters and waited for them to prepared. I was given a container with ice etc. I checked out put the container in my car drove home pick the container up when I got home and the entire container collapsed and fell all over my driveway. Unfortunately, eating the oysters off the driveway is not my cup of tea. This was a total waste of money. And in addition to that I saw that I was charged for a variety of oysters twice the amount that I should’ve been charged. So not only did I not eat any of the oysters but I paid two times the price for the group of oysters. When I called to inquire about being overcharged the woman was completely rude.I almost didn’t purchase the oysters because the man didn’t seem completely competent in preparing them. While I was waiting someone else an older gentleman came up to the counter to say he had purchased shrimp there in the morning and it was completely bad.I use to think of Whole Foods as good quality food but not anymore.
This location’s salad bar is just awful. Old eggs, never restocked, dressing always empty. I will make the trek to the downtown location. They take more pride in what the offer.Update: I decided to give Wholefoods another shot since they acknowledged my post. It wasnt any better. You cant tell by the photos, but the carrot strings were discolored (and do you need 3 bins of carrots), the peas had a white/gray coating on them, the only protein left was tuna (which apparently no one likes), and the hard boiled egg situation again. This location is not the standard of most all other Wholefoods I have been across the country
This wholefoods is very well clean and has very good customer service.
It always smells so good in this store.I went in pretty early just after 10 AM wanting to get a grilled burger to take with me for a later lunch. When I asked the cook behind the counter if the grill was open yet, he first told me no, that the grill was not heated yet. I have to say I didn’t believe him, I thought he could just turn it on whenever he needed to.He must have had a great feeling that I am a person that leaves reviews, because he quickly had a change of heart as he turned to tell me that he actually would be able to make me a burger. One turn of the knob and the grill was on, the burger sizzling. Lettuce wrapped with grilled sautéed onions, mushrooms and cheese.I didn’t expect it to be good because he didn’t want to make it at first. But It was. I was actually very good.Lots of great choices in this store. Easy in. Easy out.
Im not the biggest whole foods fan but the cherry creek store is well stocked w good food, well lit and well staffed. Good produce, good cheese, decent of smallish beer selection. The other large chain in Denver is awful. The other chain consists of dreary stores, dingy and brown (whos bright idea was brown floors and tan walls in a super market?), often poorly stocked and poorly staffed.
Very Friendly big variety and open food bar with hot food available.. we found octopus at 15 a lbs. Giant shrimp at 20 dollars a lbs ..
Sometimes Im not sure who gets on my nerves more the super rich people that shop here or the homeless at the wewatta location this is such a tiny cramped store with entitled stroller moms and bro fest dads... But alas I love whole foods even if Amazon is ruining it..
The best grocery store! Although I saw a Tik tok recently about how WHOLE FOODS is throwing a massive load of food and items away that are in normal condition. Hmmmm
Whole foods has very friendly staff. And a phenomenal list of products. If you plan on eating healthy this is the place to shop. But be careful spending 100 bucks here is like 1/5ths of a cart.
This is by far my favorite grocery store. Always so clean, organized, and all of there produce are always so fresh. They have a very large selection of organic foods, and high quality meats. My only gripe with whole foods is how expensive they are for pretty much anything. But, I know Everytime I buy something from them its a highest quality product. You get what you pay for I guess.
I love Whole foods...this locations not so much!! It is the closest to my home so I have gone there often over the last 12 years. However, I always seem to leave there with a bad impression... and it is always the people. I called this morning at 705am to purchase a basic Chocolate Eruption cake and pick it up a little later. I know with Covid that delivers and pickups are suppose to be common. However, the person in bakery said because it was a holiday I could not purchase it and pick it up later. WHAT?? I wasnt wanting anything special just to give the store my money and pick up a cake once I was showered, dressed, and taken care of a few things around home! What kind of customer service is this??? Your website says curbside pick up and delivery but I guess that only applies to certain grocery items??? Really people... I know Amazon has great customer service and always does what it can to accommodate. You might want to follow suite of your parent company!!! Totally unacceptable!! All I wanted was to give you my money and buy a small cake, that is already made and thawed out sitting in your display. Treat people poorly the world will know.
I just went there to return an Amazon item. Very helpful at the customer service counter.
Always find what I need and excellent customer service.
I love this whole foods as it has even fancier foods than Boulders whole foods. I love how each whole foods has different clients so ya get different tastes to each whole foods.
Chantilly cake!!! A delightful experience. Busy neighborhood market, get Pizza to Salads, clean, nicely organized.
Since the arrival of the new GM (Barringer), this place is falling a part, our favorite longtime staff have either been fired or fled this toxic place. It looks more like a factory with boxes everywhere, ladders, palates in the middle of aisles, etc. The shelves are empty and products are scattered across the shelves.I would take my business to a competitor if there was an alternative choice in our area. The new GM has created a micromanaging & toxic environment for staff and customers; uncomfortable for all involved. He needs to stop walking around with his clip board bombarding hard working staff (you are driving our favorite people away) and disturbing customers with his invasive questions.Thank you for your response, however, I will not be responding to your message asking me to contact someone at Whole Foods. I have mentioned this multiple times, but it seems like any comments both positive and negative falls on deaf ears, since Barringer has been there--so I will not waste anymore of my time. I am sorely disappointed with the situation. I have been a loyal Whole Foods customer for years and will remain so wherever I go, however, Cherry Creek Whole Food is a disaster! There is no way this place should be considered a platinum store!
This store always has a pleasant odor. This is the place to go if you want to eat healthy.
This Whole Foods and especially Elaine in the flower department are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things. Elaine went above and beyond (even though the store was busy —but following covid precautions!!) to help me create a bouquet. Great prices/Amazon deals even in the flower department ! My new happy place grocery store.
Great place to pick up a great lunch and breakfast
Not the best Whole Foods I’ve been to but they do have a a great selection for the smaller then average size of the place. Can get very busy here with not the most polite crowd of people. Staff however is very kind and always helpful!
I worked at this location between September 2020 and March 2021, and in that time, I had some of the worst experiences working for any corporation. I was cursed at by co-workers, scheduled for 8-hour shifts with less than six hours off in between, and told by an E-Commerce supervisor that my presence was making customers feel uncomfortable. Outside of working for Whole Foods, I would periodically shop at this location, but after being told my presence was disconcerting to some customers, I felt it would be best to not return to this location.
Hot breakfast bar was not that bad, Ill definitely be going again some time.
Possibly the ONLY Whole Foods w/o an #EV charging station? Pfff! Hello 👋 It’s 2021 and the earth needs a break from some of the petroleum emissions!Unless you’re Bezos 🙄I’ll go to #Belmar in Lakewood for the free #EV chargers in a covered parking garage on principal alone!
Thank The Goddess they had Gluten Ease enzymes!!! Bless You!! I thought my afternoon was gonna be horrible. 💕
I really appreciate you having a lady out front letting us know the store is full. That also means the checkout lines will be full. Much appreciated.
It deserves encouragement and 5 stars
I just put my three star review down to two. The lowest I have ever given to anywhere. They are out of the same things all the time. They must sell all the shelf space to products that are never purchased. I imagine this is because some companies stock their own product so they buy more shelf space to avoid an employee needing to go there all the time. It would only make sense to give products that are always out more shelf space, especially bc Whole Foods operates more like a fulfilment warehouse than a store now. I need to stop going in. Also, just take your to go sandwich section out of the store. You dont have to go sandwiches and you havent for months. I just left there with nothing again. It was such a great store 3-5 years ago.
So much to choose from. Visiting the seafood section was like a trip to SeaWorld. More crustations then a SpongeBob movie. My son kept distracting me with new information. The tower of scented bar soaps caught his eye. What mother of a teenage boy would consider the cost when he was piling up fresh soaps in a bag?Go for it I cheered! As always my thorough examination of the salad bar sent signals to my salivary glands to wake up. It all looked good but as myself and my family would say,Plain is our favorite, no sauces or heavy spices. And being a prime member there is a discount on most items. Just scan your code at the register from your phone. Very upbeat. Everyone on the ball to serve your shopping needs.
Delicious Chicken Fun noodle dark meet over at the sushi counter
I loved the pick up food options, great lunch, also saw some peonies on my way out, so beautiful. I wish I didnt have to ask the cashier for a fork on my way out.
It was good. Nice variety of foods.
It was so much better for the body, but we are definitely getting back to nutrition, one way of another!
Arguably the worst Whole Foods. Crowded as hell, greasy carts, slammed paring lot, employees unhelpful with political stickers on their water bottles.I feels like all of Whole Foods is actually in decline. Last time it took 30 minutes to figure out which order was my order.Feels like they are hiring people off the street with no training. I guess that’s the Amazon way.
Like every other Whole Foods. But now they do something with your Amazon prime and take money off sometimes.
This is by far the nicest store in the South Metro area
I probably spent more than I should have, but I enjoy whole foods.
Whole Foods Cherry Creek has ALWAYS been a beautiful place to shop aesthetically but I want to say that they have stepped up EVERYTHING especially during this pandemic!!!Theres always been select longtime staff that my family and I are excited to see, but it seems like ALL the employees are so sweet and willing to help their Clientele not to mention that everyone has been working so hard to ensure that we receive the best quality & options!!#teamwholefoodscherrycreekThank you so much 💯
This is a great whole foods. Lots of great products, vegan options, Ayurveda, urban remedy, all the good stuff. A little busy for my comfort level, with covid and all. Wish they were throttling at the door actually
Bought some peaches and great sandwiches love
This is/was my issue with Whole Foods. The absolute worst shopping experience. Being slightly sarcastic, at least half the people in the store, employees, were shopping for someone else. Virtually running from isle to isle, searching for items. Absolutely no regard for a physical patron in the building. I felt as though I were in some warehouse, or UPS shipping facility. I swear I had to dodge frantic personal shoppers at every turn Talk about a stressful experience. If I drank I would have had a double, then another just to relax enough to focus on what I needed.
Update: Its only fair to call out excellence too. Picked up some tenderloins and this time the butcher offered to cut out meat. He did a fantastic job that really made for a special birthday dinner! Thank you. This WF is probably the worst in Colorado, nothing but a hassle. Far too crowed, too many delivery shoppers running all over the place, the flow is horrible and the meat counter is staffed by the most obnoxious and condescending workers you will ever encounter. Not only do you get attitude but they cant even cut tenderloin the same thickness to ensure even cooking.
Amazing selection with prices to match!
I bought a fruit bowl here today. The first bite was into a strawberry with a worm in it!I took it back to Whole Foods and they asked me if I wanted another one. No thank you. One worm is enough for me today 🤢I told them they should instead pull the fruit bowls from the shelf and check them. I doubt they will.Just dont buy fruit here.
I like Whole Foods a lot, but my experiences are always quite variable. Sometimes the staff are friendly and helpful... other times not so much. Sometimes there are sales or deals that make certain food items almost affordable... but mostly not. I have found items in the cold case or at the deli counter that are quite delicious. Its just so very expensive that it can never become too much of a habit. I wish that I could find the same dishes or the same supplies at a store that was more affordable. It seems that Safeway is trying, with its expanding organic offerings, and Natural Grocers is actually a good alternative. But there are some delightful items that can only be found at Whole Foods... even if they cannot be purchased on a regular basis.
Used to come here all the time to get sandwiches a guy Logan used to make them for me. Since he’s been gone sandwiches have gone way down hill.
Great everything but found mold on some food after purchase. They were very helpful and refunded the item.
Does it getter better than whole foods? Definitely twice as good as half foods!
Similar to most Whole Foods but it seems a bit smaller and slightly less organized. Great place to buy specialty items. Amazing bread counter and meat selection.
Whole foods is just a great place for anyone to find something. The choices are so vast. Just go when its not too busy. Parking is much better these days.
The store is fine, but its always really crowded and the aisles are narrow. If you have the option to go somewhere else, it will probably be a more enjoyable experience.
Love this store, so clean, excellent customer service, and the variety of foods
This place is jammed full with aggressive personal shoppers that practically run you over with their grocery carts as they attempt to fulfill multiple orders at once. It feels more like a warehouse than a grocery store. The staff and cashiers are nice enough, but the produce section is almost always under stocked and whatever bags of salad you find are the ones no one wants to buy because they are starting to rot. Then there is the parking...or lack there of I should say. If you do find a parking spot, good luck avoiding all the pedestrians and on coming traffic as you back out. Also, the lines at each check out are always so long that they begin in the nearest grocery isle to each register. They are clearly understaffed and I feel sorry for the casheirs that have to work in such a stressful environment.
Its whole foods... You know what youre getting 😉 Downside is hot bar is small and currently, limited, but it will reopen soon enough.
Ryan went above and beyond to help me yesterday 3/19/21. He is an excellent and very knowledgeable in seafood and I will be coming back just because of his professionalism.
The best whole foods in Denver (the only other competitor for this store is Belmar WF in Lakewood). Great seafood, bakery, and butcher shop. If say the only area they lack here is a good baking section.
Typical Whole Foods. Very busy on Sunday. Also quite cold inside the store. A little ticked off because they closed TWO registers one after another while my roommate was standing there waiting. Just blew her off. I’m already done standing watching and it’s pretty absurd. Typical though...
It was very crowded and people were not keeping 6 of distance between each other. I wont go back as long as Covid-19 is a threat. But, I will order from Whole Foods and have it delivered to our home.
Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. Great recommendations at the meat and seafood counters, great selection of fresh beer.
Go to this place every day for break at work great Mac and cheese
Cheapest chapstick was 3$ and the cop was On our d*cks the whole time.
Your typical whole foods. Deli section is where its at. THIS LOCATION IS BUSY. ALL THE TIME. Godspeed
Completely overrun with “personal shoppers” who are rude and completely ignorant of personal space, let alone social distancing. The worst experience I’ve ever had at a Whole Foods. Clearly some other system needs to be implemented for personal shoppers, as there is no indication of priority for patrons who are actually in the store.
5 STARS for making my shopping experience a safe journey! I have always loved coming here! And will continue to do so!
Its an amazing place and I didnt want to leave now Im going yo apply Gor a job there
I can give several recommendations for Whole Foods, but ill keep it simple. If you dont try the Hatch New Mexico queso dip/sauce, youre missing out on a magical thing. Enjoy.
Well located just off the Cherry Creek Trail so its pretty convenient for runners and cyclists alike if they need anything midway, which is the case I had today. They are doing a good job at crowd control at the moment and friendly service is always appreciated.
They have the best food here, Im serious!! I love everything. Their sandwiches, the soups, the pies, the cakes, their pizza!!! I can go on and on. I love their pecan pies because they are not made of nothing but high fructose corn syrup like the pecan pies everywhere else. The pecan pies dont have corn syrup at all! Neither does the soda. They have an awesome selection of chips, dips and salsa. They make the best sandwiches in the deli and you can literally ask ANY employee for help here and they are more than happy to drop their task and help you. Ive never experienced better customer service in my life.
Very clean, has a huge selection of healthy food and other products. The workers were all very helpful. Highly recommend!
I prefer Whole Foods but Cherry Creek store crowded, items I wanted were out of stock, lines at checkout go up the aisles. Ill go back to the Chestnut store.
Didnt have product looking for
Great place to find things you might not in other stores. Food is always fresh and the staff are very helpful.
Great selection
Im a Prime member, they have everything I use, want & need. The fresh fish counter has a variety that is second to none! The meat counter has organic everything! The produce is organic, the flowers are beautiful and reasonably priced, and its minutes from our home! Its where I shop consistently, and I Love it!Oh! I almost forgot, if I order something from Amazon, I can have it delivered safely to my, just up the street Whole Foods, where I can pick it up without a hassle !!
Pretty overpriced, spent about $25 on 2 sushi rolls and was pretty disappointed about the freshness/quality of the meal for the price.
Its good. Its a bit small and crowded because of the location. Otherwise it seemed like a well oiled machine
Im only rating specifics in the bakery. Its really taken a dive. Eerrrrrrrnn BOOM! The blueberry muffins are not good anymore, no flavor, sparse berries. The blueberry scone is some weird, dried cookie shape thing. The almond croissant has 1 to 2 bites worth of almond flavor otherwise a dried croissant taste prevails (eat the middle only) Its boring and bland like one would get from a Pay n Pump. Bring back that excellent cinnamon coffee cake and frisbee those boxed up Abes cardboard tasting things to the dumpster, Ill help.
Horrible customer service. I’m frequent shopper the employee from the meat area is extremely rude this not the first time get annoyed easily can’t remember his names but he’s older man I think the oldest one there all the other gals look young. I thought the first times he was just having a bad day but has happened so many times, extremely rude.
Fresh produce clean store good staff
This location kind of stinks. Terrible, crowded lay out and did not have much selection of anything
Great choices for prepared foods or everything you need to be a great home chef. plus every option for food sensitivity alternatives.
Great staff. Extraordinary people. One of the best Whole Foods I have ever been to.
Needs new management. Surprisingly untidy for WFM
Had a small issue with the parking, but was able to manage! The cashiers here are always so friendly to me and such a clean store
Disregard all the people who shop at that place. The absolute worst display of entitled humans all gathered into one grocery store.
Often busy, lots of choices, and good covid policies (compulsory masks and limit on number of customers)
Your average Whole Foods, but coupled with a terribly crowded parking lot and store aisle-blocking twits on par with Californias Berkeley Bowl. Lower your blood pressure (and save your car from dings) and drive the extra mile or so to the Glendale Whole Foods instead.
Surprised. The gentleman who saved me was not friendly. He was snappy.
A bit small, but picked up some ribeye the other day and it was hands down the best looking and marbled steak I’ve ever gotten from a grocery store.
Excellent selections and it was open for most of the bad snowstorm.
Awesome steaks. Friendly staff, rude customers. Several people cut the line to the butcher.
Great for quick pick up dinner: or lunch! Specialty items! and love the array of cheeses, meats, bread, and desserts!Dont forget unique fruits! Vegetables, flowers, and good parking!
