Cute little coffee spot for grab and go with delicious fresh pastries. The shop was tiny, clean and very minimalist. We were quickly greeted with such great customer service. Our hot and cold vanilla latte coffee were quickly made and super delicious. The butter croissant was huge and very tasty. There is no inside seating and they seem to be very firm on covid precautions which is fair since it is a tiny shop with a small capacity max.Overall I recommend this little shop.
Astounding help, a pleasant taste of espresso, an alleviating feeling. This café has everything, and Im cheerful I settled on the ideal choice to come here and partake in a pleasant mug of espresso. I feel so great, and Im happy that their staff was overall quite deferential to me when going to my accommodation. Decent positions, folks! Much thanks!
It was love at first sight with Little Owl Coffee. The place is situated in downtown Denver, on the bottom floor of a business building. The roads and parking around there can be tricky, but the place is well worth it. It’s a cozy, bright, warm, and friendly little shop in a very busy part of the city. The mocha and latte art do not disappoint. The baristas are friendly and fast. Enjoyed returning today.
Great service and delicious baked goods. Wines were great and better at happy hour prices. Yummy pumpkin olive oil cake. Will be back tomorrow hopefully before heading home.
Incredible latte. I got their version of a PSL which was more pumpkin & clove / less nutmeg than a Starbucks version (I dont drink Starbucks, but just for comparison) and a lot less sweet. You could still taste the espresso with all the lovely fall flavors on top and the milk was steamed to velvety perfection. What a treat.
Excellent coffee! Stopped here one morning for a quick cup. The space is small but very beautiful and well designed. Espresso was perfect and there are a few spots to sit outside too. The two baristas were probably the friendliest service staff I have encountered so far in Denver, so that was appreciated.
The best coffee shop! Its one of the best places here to let you know! The atmosphere is fantastic with amazing, lovely staff. They have some great coffee! I mean they have many options. I would definitely come again, and I recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much for your good heart in serving customers.
Busy but very homey shop. Great coffee. Not far from Union Station, so great for commuters or those headed around, travelers etc. Thanks guys and gals!
Nice little coffee shop in downtown, pretty close to Union Station. Friendly service and great coffee, with some special seasonal floors. I tried their pumpkin spice latte and its pretty delicious. The price is on the higher end though. At the moment, its take-out only since there are no seatings either inside or outside the store.
Very worth it! It was my experience here and I was really happy that Sam accommodated me like I am a regular customer. I like the taste of the coffee latte that he served. I also like the design of the dessert I ordered. The taste is very yummy! The pricing is really affordable, it really suited my budget. Thank you so much for the friendly staff for serving me so nicely.
Google description of Little Owl: “Tranquil choice for craft coffee and espresso drinks…”Tranquil, maybe, but if so it’s an eye-of-the-hurricane kind of tranquility. In point of fact, this is actually the place where you kiss tranquility goodbye. The wire you get from the espresso drinks here is the kind that fuels revolutions. The kind of wire you want when you have a lot of schemes to scheme. The kind of wire you need when you have a lot of work to do.If you are tranquil after a couple cappuccinos here, someone need to take your pulse.
Cute little place in downtown Denver. Great coffee drinks. I recommend if youre looking for a vibe!
So cute!! Loved the vibe! Gorgeous interior! A little difficult to see if you are just walking by. I got and iced americano with almond milk that was refreshing and delicious! Love this place!!(P.S. kinda obvious, but good for gluten free coffee!)
Their single origin Peruvian coffee on drip was amazing. They have a free refill too which was great. Very spacious spot, shares a lounge area with a hotel. WiFi was decent and pastries were also generally on point. Would definitely recommend coming here to grab a quick cup or even work a few hours.
Great location that served amazing coffee. The atmosphere was amazing, but seating is very limited because it’s small (maybe 4 seats on the inside and 2 patio tables outside). Their beans are delicious and baristas were extremely sweet! Pastries were delicious, too.
Smoothest cappuccino I’ve ever had. Super friendly service and even better coffee
Great coffee. Really good cold brew. Not a place to sit and have a coffee. Theyll tell you that you can sit in the cozy lobby theyre connected to, but the front desk folks make it clear that youre not welcome once you sit down.
Starvation hit me while I was jogging around the block early in the morning. The coffee shop was a pleasant surprise. As I glanced at their menu, I was blown away by the variety of breakfast and coffee options available to me. A banana cake and a cappuccino were recommended by the staff. And that was the greatest!
This place is great! Simple menu of drinks as well as food. Cappuccino was really well done and the doughnuts they have are super tasty. Service was very friendly and quick. If you are within walking distance of this place you must go!
I just stumbled across this place. Phenomenal coffee! Nice servers as well. No pretension. Small space in case you are looking for something different.
Made a quick stop here while in Denver. The cold brew was really good, and the staff was very kind! Cool spot.
I work next door and Im in every morning to get an iced mocha and a pastry and theyre always so friendly! Perfect start to my day!
Little Owl hosts amazing coffee, the kindest & most efficient staff coupled with killer pastries. The space cute, small and clean and I frankly think it’s the best coffee in LoDo. Actually, I know it is. Try it out, it’s worth the price difference than a chain.
Bought a latte and a hot coffee with two shots. Latte was good but the drip had little taste and was like drinking discolored water.
I tried a vanilla latte with almond milk, and a scone. The late was goodThe scone was really goodMy friend got their little panini caprese thing (I forgot the name) and it was very good. I recommend thatThis is the perfect place for grab and go coffee. The seating outside was really cute as well and the coffee shop was so aesthetic. I’ve already gone 3 times. There are better alternatives than paper straws, I 100% support not using plastic, so I won’t give them a 4 instead of 5 for it, but I wish they had a different option.
Id youre in a wheelchair or unable to sir at a high top dont bother. Zero accessible seating.
Staff is so sweet, coffee is delicious. So are the baked goods. My go-to spot as of late!
Good show! Very busy and two employees kept the flow without missing a beat and kept a smiling and joyful atmosphere. Great, friendly, welcoming service and quality coffee and pastries. The espresso was quality, just too tangy citrus and sweet for my taste. Good offering of cold beverages and yogurt in the cooler.
Yesterday me and my husband and son went to go check out this coffee shop for the first time and was disappointed mainly due too NOT being greeted, stood standing there and took awhile after the fact ppl started to come in and then the girl asked what can she get us. The fact she greeted and the guy greeted others coming in made me and my husband feel as if they were discriminating towards us! I don’t know if it’s the fact that we didn’t have masks on being that the mask mandate has been lifted or the fact we were Hispanics either way VERY VERY disappointed and giving them a one star. Coffee was good but service was a no for me! I rather take my money elsewhere. I hardly ever make a google review but when a place that gives me a bad taste of not wanting to come back makes me have time to let the business know to do better and have employees work on their customer service.
Little owl is the heart and soul of denver. The humans who work here care about fantastic coffee in every drink. The cutest space with the cutest smiles. They also are very focused on working closely with all the farms they buy from and give back to. Thanks y’all for being so great.
I just started drinking coffee and exploring flavors. I purchased a bag of Penrose and its a really great its just super tasty somehow both full body and light. I also tried their Earl Grey donut and it was heavenly! Friendly service and cute space! Will be back to work my way through pastries and other roasts!
The shop was clean and the atmosphere was cute but the staff were a little bit rude. Maybe they hadnt had their coffee yet? The food was tasty and the drinks were alright. I dont know if Id go back for the coffee but I would for the food!
I pretty regularly drive 40 minutes just for an espresso because it’s that good. Super talented baristas that are really knowledgeable and friendly. By far my favorite place to go on my days off.The donuts are life-changing as well, if you can get your hands on one
Haven’t actually tried the coffee but the presentation looks great! The cafe had a lovely minimalist but pristine vibe. The donuts are spectacular and love the vegan options!
A perfectly modern coffee house in the middle of a hippie street, that serves the best selection of coffee and never fails to impress your palette on every sip. This is the best coffee shop in Denver, and whoever disagrees probably never tried quality craft coffee. Baristas have a wide knowledge of coffee, and can serve you your daily dose of caffeine in the most perfect way possible. They also have a wide selection of beans from Central/South America and Africa. I am, however, extremely disappointed because it closes at 5 PM on weekdays, because some people (like me) need their quality coffee at midnight too.
Great coffee. Locally roasted. Real espresso, though automatic attachment so not barista controlled pull. Very busy in the morning but worth for a good coffee experience.
Almond milk latte was like a dream. Highly recommend this place. Clean, bright, and helpful service. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.
Its little and it has good coffee! No owls tho.
Great Denver coffee gem with heirloom Ethiopian coffee beans which at first, it hits you with the fruity taste (sour) and then you get a full body flavour.Pro: barista is very knowledgeable and make great coffee art.The cappuccino was devine.Great minimalist interior design with natural tree plank as tables. No cons at all!! They have great French pastry too.
Wonderful product and staff!🙄😊 however I wish they would validate 🤔😕indoor parking garage for paying customers.
Such fun and unique options! Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone to try something new!
The place is very convenient since it is nearby my place. This place is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. The orders are made very fast. There are lots of chairs and tables to accommodate many customers and they offer ample parking spaces as well. Thank you!
Saw this place with great reviews, small little coffee place on 16th and Blake st, can be easily missed. Ordered an Americano, barista suggested his fav For an americano which is the Penrose blend. You can taste a hint of rose, too light for my taste for me. Excellent customer service. They pastries came in fresh from local bakery, but decided to pass.
Delicious coffee and very friendly staff! Highly recommend it!
This.... is my FAV coffee place in Denver. They just get good coffee. Located on Blake Street (just off 16th Street Mall), its a very hip place to come and get your morning, noon or late arvo caffeine fix.Second time here in the space of a few days, they know what a flat white coffee should be, and each time have made it to perfection. These guys understand the art of making an amazing cup, coupled with the great banter from the staff and a comfortable place to chill for an hour - you wont be disappointed. My hotel keeps making a bad coffee, so when i found this place I instantly fell in love.
Denver CO Little Owl offers great custom recipe coffee even for those lactose free liking folks like me. Jenny introduced me to OAT Milk Latte today with a smooth nutty and fresh baked bread like taste with a beautiful presentation of hearts drawn on the top. Thank you Little Owl and Jenny;)Ps. The only thing i would love to change is to lower the price close to $5 for all with tax so its affordable everyday of the week experience.
Small upscale coffee shop. Good quality coffee, friendly and knowledgeable barista.Bigger operation than you might think, as they roast and bake in-house, in contrast to the small storefront. Prices do reflect that, but Im happy to support a local self-sustaining operation.
It’s a cute little coffee shop in the downtown.
I liked this very cute, little, spartan shop. They were very very busy and that is a great thing for them, but kind of made it feel frenetic to me. The thing is, its not a bone the coffee shop can control. It was their clientele that carried the weight of the universe on their shoulders. Lots of furrowed brows glaring at screens. I think that the flavor and quality of the coffee was not fully appreciated by Little Owls for here and certainly to go clients.Come here, order one of their phenomenal beverages, sit down. Feel the warmth of the ceramic or glass in your hands. Let its warmth flow into your body, while lifting the cup to your face. Inhale the aroma of your beverage, hold the breath in your sinuses and slowly drink. That is how you should enjoy Little Owl.
I love Little Owl. Hands down the best coffee in the downtown Denver area, and really just one of my favorite coffee shops of all time. Jenna makes the most amazing lattes and the donuts are perfect. If you’re looking for really good coffee this is it. On the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for here.
We liked to come across the Bakeshop. We love pastries and there were plenty to choose from in the Bakeshop. This is a tiny café with a wide selection of cakes and treats.
One of the best, if not the best, coffee shop and roaster in all of Denver. Coffee is amazing and they have fresh baked goods. What more could you need?
Great location! The coffee is always top notch and the staff is wonderful. Hands down my favorite coffee spot!
My wife found this place on an IG reel or a tiktok, so we decided to drive from the suburbs to downtown to try this little owl spot out. Its what we do, we’re foodies. We like to try new places, and coffee’s my weakness! First off, Its really not easily seen from the street unless you drive real slow, so we parked on the other side of the block and walked to it with our 8 year old.Upon walking in, we WERE NOT greeted, ok thats fine, maybe they were busy? Nope there was absolutely no customers ahead of us.. still no eye contactfor at least 90 seconds until I actually approach the register. We order, I pay, and still tip I might add. Waiting for our macchiatos, a couple of other ppl walk-in and THEY were definitely greeted. They (the other customers) asked if they should wear their masks, which the guy barista said in a loud annoyed tone I felt was directed at us (maskless), yes, please do or some sort of response similar to that. Now I dont know if it was that we were Hispanic and Im tattooed or the fact that we went in this small coffee shop maskless, but I definitely felt awkward as did my wife. I go to my local Starbucks and they may be busy as hell and still greet everyone coming in the door! Maybe they can work on the whole customer service greeting thing and maybe their not so judge mental actions. I can definitely take my money elsewhere which I definitely will!! Ill definitely NEVER be back to this place! Also, if youre maskless and/or even Hispanic, Id avoid this place at all cost! Small sizes and overpriced!
Barista gave me a suggestion on where to find a good bagel and my 8oz oat milk latte is perfectly silky. Thank you little owl!
Perfect if you want a place to chill
I am surrounded by coffee places in Denver, but I go a few blocks out of my way to get my coffee at Little Owl. Great coffee, nice people, not that far out of the way...
A cozy place in the downtown area with different original coffee aromas. I tried a Vanilla latte besides other...loved it.
I always leave this shop with a smile. Love everything about this company
Great cold brew and great americano, but the best part was the “churro” croissant! The creamy center and cinnamon sugar outside was just delicious. Waiting to get a table outside while you sip the coffee is worth the wait, and there was decent street parking on the other side of the street before 9AM.
Second single espresso this morning and just like the last one of the best I have had in a long time...
The best coffee shop downtown Denver and the staff are great 🙂
Super cute place to go. They are friendly and the space is really great for both small groups and individuals, I found a place to post up for some homework quickly, and it was comfortable and productive.I got the Dulce De Leche latte with almond milk and it was smooth and not too sweet, I thought it was great. Also, its a great size for $5, obviously I got mine in a mug not a paper cup, though.I also did the fruit empanada that you get for free, checking in on yelp. I did pineapple, and I thought it was great! The crust was great and they warm it up for you.I mean, the filling was pre-bought, you know that, but Im not sure what everyone expects. It was good, dont get it expecting a fresh pineapple (or any fruit) compote. Its free, theyre friendly, its good. The crust tastes homemade to me, and I worked in a pie shop.10/10 recommend. I will be back to do work and chat with friends.
Dont fret if its busy, it is worth the wait. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. Ambience reminds me of Colorado Springs area.
