I just happened to be walking by here and was looking for something to drink. The nice lady behind the counter named Ashley recommended the Lavender Vanilla Fizz which was absolutely delicious! My friend got the Berry Babe smoothie, and it was definitely just as good! I didnt try their coffee, but for a nice cold drink this place definitely hit the spot!
Not a lot of seating, wifi doesn’t work. Bad and pricey pastries. Great coffee and staff though.
Delicious coffee and fun, creative drinks (matcha fizz, lavender fizz, etc.). Try them all! The staff is also incredibly kind and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, with the back patio perfect for warm mornings. Easy access by car or foot or lime. The breakfast burrito is also fantastic, especially with the salsa.
I love this spot. Great drinks and food. The staff is always friendly and they have a great assortment of local art on display.
Excellent selection of coffees and teas and wonderful service! I highly recommend 🌹🙏🏾🌹
Ashley was great! She recommended the Chili Mango Fizz and what a great choice! I loved how every time someone buys one 10% goes back to the Latino Museum next door! Keep up the great work neighbor!
I love this coffee shop. Friendly helpful staff with unique drink options. They have great flavored coffee drinks and today I enjoyed their green smoothie. Food options also great for breakfast, lunch, or snacking. Prices are a little bit spendy but not far from normal. They no longer accept punch cards and operate with an account point system instead. Check them out!
Great coffee and staff. Clean establishment. No GF options though.
Great spot for a coffee and quick bite. My favorite place in the Santa Fe Arts District!
Where to start... A quirky little coffee shop that not only serves coffee, but has a great tea collection as well! And we arent talking tea bags here, but the actual ingredients to make a variety of teas. But my new go to is the Nitro Cold Brew! Talk about heaven in a cup! So smooth and not at all watered down like most versions you find elsewhere. I didnt even add any coconut or oat milk on top like I would elsewhere! Ive also expanded my horizons to try what they called spiked lemonade which is a shot of espresso in their homemade lemonade. I was definitely intrigued and it has a very peculiar (in a good way) taste to it, but I can understand why some people would not care for it. But if youre brave enough and open to new things, try it! Give it a few sips before judgement. I would drink it again! The staff there are equally awesome. Everyone is so kind and helpful. But never fear they have the classic coffee favorites as well if youre the old fashioned type! Enjoy!!
Ive gotta say, this place has charm. The ladies working there were lovely and provided great recommendations on the area (which is ironic because Ive lived in the area for about 6 months, but covid has kept me from getting out much). But I will say the coffee/tea we got wasnt great. Unfortunately, I asked for a bit of cream in my coffee and the cream was put in my partners green tea, which unfortunately curdled (weird in green tea). He wasnt able to drink his, but I didnt mind my coffee black.Nevertheless, Id recommend this lovely establishment conveniently located in the art district, I would just recommend being very clear on exactly what youre ordering.
Ashley was great. The Chili Mango Fizz and the Lavendar Matcha Spritz were phenomenal!
There are 3 coffee shops in a 3 block span, and this is the one I prefer. I dont drink coffee and they have the BEST Chai on the street! Hands down. I like the vibe here, usually the music, and the staff is nice and helpful
This is my favorite coffee shop in the area! I always get an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it is DIVINE. Today I tried a breakfast burrito and it was great! Plus I noticed they serve smoothies with YERBA MATE?! I can’t wait to try that next time!
I had visited this place after my mother could not stop raving about the delicious coffee and how beautiful the atmosphere was. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience like my mother. The drink I had ordered was not the drink the barista had heard. After I had received my drink, I went to the back to look around and contemplated if I should tell the barista about the incorrect order. After contemplating, I decided to tell the barista because I was not going to drink the drink I was given. I had approached the barista politely to alert her of the misunderstanding to which she responded with a slight attitude and tried to argue with me. I did not respond to her slick remark because there was no reason to argue over a misunderstanding error. She then proceeded to aggressively make my order which was still incorrect and was only about two ounces when the original order would have been about sixteen ounces. I walked out after given the new drink because I was bothered by her attitude and actions, paid for and given the wrong drink, and was given two incorrect orders. Then to add to the experience, I spilled the new order on my car after washing it before arriving at the coffee shop. On a lighter night, the coffee shop was cute though and there is a nice garden in the back with additional seating.
Great little local coffee shop, with a cool atmosphere to chill inside, as well as a small patio out back. Great coffee, food like hot paninis and burritos, pastries from a local baker, and Free wifi.
Great vibes and great service...and not to mention great coffee !
One of my favorite coffee shops in Denver. Such an ideal location, and especially great right now since they have (limited) outdoor seating. Their beverages are the best of the best, and there is always a wonderful atmosphere. Ive been supporting them since they first opened and I will continue to do so for as long as possible!
Always a friendly environment, and being a part of the Art District on Santa Fe, they feature great artists in their discolored. Comfortable seating areas to hang out awhile with friends, or tables and chairs for small meetings, plus a back patio to relax in, Joe Maxx provides a welcoming atmosphere for you to enjoy your drink. If they offer the crepe cake, you MUST try it! Small bites and desserts are also on the menu as well as coffee staples. I just tried the Lavender Rose Italian Creme Soda and it was delicious!
Great coffee, friendly staff and multiple options for a quick bite too!
Yummy selection of flavored syrups like lavender and rose for iced teas. Pretty cool local spot.
Bad experience. Went around 8:30am to pick up a burrito to bring to my gf. Waited 10 minute inside the shop and no one was to be found until a guy finally came up. Took 20 min for the pre made burritos. 2 bacon and one just potato. He wrote potato on the one with bacon which sucked because my gf is a vegetarian and I dropped off the one that he said was vegetarian and it was bacon so she couldn’t eat it. Won’t go back.
Coffee was pretty good, but the breakfast burrito was frozen and reheated and a bit cold.
Solid coffee shop with killer service. Charlotte was great and had awesome food recommendations. We worked remote on the patio for an hour before heading to the airport. Cute outdoor patio and free wifi! Thanks for a good work morning.
Great ambiance. I crave strong coffee and was not disappointed. My wife is having a macchiato and Im having a cappuccino on this fine and cloudy morning of October 8th. The deliciousness of my cappuccino with an extra shot of coffee made me want to leave a positive review. Definitely will recommend this to anyone who is in Denver... Id reccomend it to people I know but Im from Florida and will not make a difference :(. So if youre reading this, dont think it twice.
Great Coffee, super nice people! Love that they are part of the neighborhood and not a chain, a true small business.
I work just up the street, so I come in ALL of the time. This is a wonderful little coffee shop that always makes great drinks, and the baristas are lovely (and have memorized my order by this point....ha). The only suggestion I have is dropping the sandwich prices; theyve recently become too expensive what you get, honestly, but otherwise everything here is great.
I was here for an after hours concert and loved the ambience. The artwork from local artists on the walls were a great conversation piece and loved the visibility the place was giving to them. It was quaint with some sweet outdoor seating.
Cute coffee shop with lots of great options! Food was delicious, plenty of dairy alternatives, and they even make an affogato! Decent amount of seating space but I could see it getting a little crowded. Thankfully it wasnt when we went! Tables also had good access to outlets which was nice. Overall a great experience, well definitely be back.
The crepe cake is honestly why I decided to try this place. I had the Mocha crepe cake slice and it was delicious! I do believe the shop themselves doesn’t make this, they get a few cakes a week from another place... however it’s the easiest way to find crepe cake for me. I did have an iced coffee and that was pretty fabulous as well!
Great atmosphere, local art on the walls and tasty coffee. I got the Coco-Mocha which was delicious. Turkey Jack and Cheddar sandwich was a little lackluster, but overall great experience.
Good coffee
Best spiced apple cider EVER and super sick work hanging on the walls from local artists
Five stars for the coffee, one star for the (savory) food. Dont buy a sandwich from this place. It is definitely not a brunch place..... You would be safe with buying drinks and baked goods only
Stopped in while walking in and out of all the shops on santa Fe and was not disappointed by the coffee or pastries. Flat white tasted great with the right amount of milk and coffee flavor. The maple walnut bread was really moist and and packed with maple flavor.
One of the few places I have visited that makes a latte as good as my own. And, if you go, you HAVE to try the 15 Layer Crepe Cake! Its better than you can even imagine!
Great place... excellent coffee & tea... delightful gluten free snacks & food ! Perfect place 2 relax or get some work done!
Got a white and dirty. Its delicious. Cozy little coffee shop. Patio in the back. The staff doesnt seem very welcoming. Could barely hear them when I was ordering. Their vibe made it seem like they didnt like working here.
Great spot here. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Amazing coffee. Nice decor. Chill vibe. Love it.
Nice place. Good selection but the food was only heated.
Im not usually a stickler over matcha green tea lattes, but this drink was delicious! The smiling barista today also made it welcoming. Its a quaint environment, very comforting.
Best flat white outside New Zealand. Loved the ambiance and eclectic menu. Great service, music and tasteful art.
Food is great, coffee is getting there. But could you please add a dirty dish tub? I really do not like leaving my empty cup on the serving counter. **update**there is a bus tub! Thank you. Also!! The straws are compostable which is great for to-go orders.
After having a delicious breakfast at “El Taco de Mexico” (see review) we decided to walk to the convention center (ooh tourists!!) and randomly stumbled into this place. I decided to go in and check it out since it looks pretty cute. Very happy I did! Was hard to pick just one thing but I managed to try their delicious menu. Baristas were very friendly and helpfulJoe maxx coffee is a vegetarian coffee shop in the heart of the Arts District on the corner of Santa Fe & 9th Avenue. Brick walls are lit with warm gallery spotlights, showcasing a rotation of art from both local and national artists.Cute coffee shop with lots of great options like White & Dirty vanilla latte steamed with cinnamon or their bold Spiked Lemonade”. I was surprised to see they also have kombucha on tap (pretty neat right?!) and a variety of all-vegetarian (and mostly vegan) menu of fancy toasts, overnight oats and crepe cakes.
Conveniently across the street from my office. There was also no line in the morning before I went in which was super nice. This coffee is straight up rocket fuel. I never want to go anywhere else.
A small but nice coffee place in the heart of the Santa Fe district. Good for a quick coffee and/or snack.
Great coffee shop. Really fun and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly. So glad to have this coffee shop in the neighborhood. And love the matcha!
Great coffee, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
A perfect little coffee shop with wonderful owners. Best tea latte Ive ever had, and the crepe cake is incredible.
Yummy quiche and delicious drip coffee. The ambience was really neat. Love the artwork. Baristas were friendly and quick.
Good tea, nice atmosphere. Easy place to meet and hang out. Very friendly staff.

Its home coffee shop, best kept secret. Love the staff, the coffee, sandwiches, and the environment. Cute little patio in the back.
Great neighborhood spot with a great vibe, coffee and food!
So friendly and welcoming people. And absolutely delicious coffees 😊
Love, love, love Joe Maxx!! Every5hing is wonderful here. The owners Nick and Lahana set a cool tone, good vibes, great drinks. Such a grrat addition to the art district on Santa Fe!!!
Cozy atmosphere, really awesome, dahli-esque collages on the walls. Great espresso! My Americano was exactly what I needed on a chilly afternoon.

Yummy, cute and delish coffee!!
Great coffee, great pastries, and really good sandwiches.
The Lavender syrup is a delicious add to lattes!
Agree with Pillar. Dont buy a sandwich from this place. Turkey was prepackaged and lame.
Quiet atmosphere, good toast options and tasty matcha lattes!
Tasty coffee and a nice space to lounge and wait for the galleries to open.
Nice cozy cafe with good food and decent coffee.

Pretty darn good and they talked me out of an ordering mistake.
