I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Weathervane. I had the T.L.T. which is the vegan version of B.L.T with tempeh instead of bacon and it was delicious. There are a few more vegetarian/vegan items on the menu too.At the moment there are two small tables in the porch and a few chairs outside, lots of folks drop by to pick up their online order as well. Seems like a place well adored by the locals.
Had the Happy Camper Latte. Very good and unique drink. Highly recommend it.
Cute cafe! Friendly service, quirky items to shop for, and delicious chai latte :)
I love this place! Iβve brought everyone I know to this cafe. Itβs so cute, everyone who works here is SO NICE and the menu is incredible! It just changed for fall and they have an amazing pumpkin chia pudding right now- highly recommend. They also have a little shop with lots of cute gifts and cards and books. Thereβs no WiFi here, but itβs a great place to meet up with friends or stop by for a break from work!
Excellent coffee shop here in our area! Yesterday, my sister and I decided to relax while sipping hot coffee in your wonderful shop. We were so happy when we reached the place because your staves welcomed us with a smile. We were so surprised when John served our order quickly. You are the best coffee shop! Thank you, guys! You are highly recommended!
I was in the city, and I wanted to have some coffee. Good iced latte sampling and the menu is completely special. The interior was great, couldnt really appreciate the new quarantine, but it looked like a nice spot to sit in. Ordering online was both easy and fast. It took me about five minutes to walk down there and my order was ready. Staff helpful. In these turbulent times, nice place to stay!
Great spot for coffee and food. Breakfast burritos are delicious. The best chai latte Ive ever had.
I miss working across the street from this unique Cafe. I used to eat here 3x a week or more. I loved their healthy ingredients and omg I wish they would sell their Sriracha mayo by the bottle cause it is the best I have ever had. Staff was always sweet and speedy. Ill definitely visit if Im ever in Denver.
The baristas are very friendly and the coffee shop itself is so cozy! There is a patio as well as an additional upstairs area for seating. Would definitely recommend!
Small joint with a lot of small, yummy offerings...including a small selection of local items for sale. The staff is down to earth, the coffee s Queen City and on the lighter side but good. And Iβm completely hooked on the morning oats, which the serve all day. Def hit this place if you are visiting or make it your local haunt.
This is my favorite local place to grab coffee, a pastry, or lunch. Their curry chicken salad sandwich is unbelievable. I get it at least twice a month. Ive really never had a sandwich like it. Their online ordering is super easy and convenient to use on a busy day that I dont have time to wait. They also have some really fun retail items to browse while youre in there. If you havent been here yet, youre missing out on a Denver staple!
What a gem! It smells amazing when you walk it. Decor is so cool! Had the Chever sandwich oh my! This place is a 10!!! Its a mist if you are in the area. Drinks were great too.
Super cute, great service, and fairly quick. I was able to get my coffee made in my home-brought mug. Great coffee.
AMAZING FOOD! lovely staff that were kind and accommodating. The atmosphere here is so unique and welcoming. Another plus: their amazing vegan, vegetarian, dairy free options.
Terrific! They use Huckleberry beans and the breakfast sandwich with spicy aioli on whole grain bread π is fire. They have good spread of made-to-order sandwiches and other espresso drinks. Also have outdoor seating on both floors and WiFi. Definitely on of my favorite local coffee shops especially if Iβm craving a bite to eat.
Such tasty food, incredible and healthy items that satisfy the tastebuds and wallet!
Super cute coffee shop, and yhe oatmilk latte was delicious!
Great little gem of a coffee shop/cafe. Good coffee, pleasant staff, chill vibe.
What a cute, homey feeling! A must in Denver if you want to have a unique coffeish/brekkie experience!
Its very convenient being across the street from my home. Always a decent mocha.
This place is my go to cafe before I go do any exploring. I took the rose petals chia on a hike and it was the perfect snack with a view of the mountains at South Mesa Trail. The pineapple matcha is cool, a little tart, and refreshing. Cant wait to try the Yerba Mate Elixir and whatever other goodies they have. Beware their popularity means they may run out of favorites in the afternoon so get there early!!
Really friendly staff, nice outdoor seating and delicious sandwiches!
Definitely a huge fan of the chick pea wrap and the coconut green tea was incredibly refreshing on these hot days!
Go here. I live close by so itβs my go-to for grabbing a drink, pastry, breakfast, or lunch. Iβve tried most of their food items and itβs all delicious. Their Curry Chicken sandwich just about blew my mind the first time I tried it. The Happy Camper Latte is delectable. I have shamelessly gone here multiple times in one day because their food is so good. During COVID, they prefer customers to use their online ordering system. The online ordering system is really efficient, easy to use, and provides accurate pickup times.
Very cute coffee shop, iced chai latte was one of the best Ive ever had. Good spot for local gifts/Knick knacks as well.
I have returned to this cafe many times over the years and it has yet to let me down. It feels like a house and has a pretty isolated upstairs area to plug in and chug along on work. Staff is most often friendly and dont seem to mind people staying a couple of hours.*On the menu:* Savory baked goods, fresh made sandwiches (pretzel or cucumber slices for sides. Breakfast/lunch) and the best textured chia coconut milk pudding in the neighborhood. There is coffee too, of course.*Atmosphere:* a country feel with trinkets and plants all over the place to look at. A mismatched assortment of furniture that gives you lots of seating options. Patio seating upstairs and downstairs.Gets pretty busy downstairs. More quiet but lots of campers upstairs which makes it hard to get seating if you go during peak times...but awesome if youre a lucky coffee shop camper! There is a bathroom up there too ;)
Super friendly staff, delicious lattes and snacks. Love the decor and the feel of this little coffee shop.
Cozy coffee shop selling sandwiches, drinks, and cute little gifts like homemade candles, artisan bandanas, and books.
A total gem of a place! Great service too. Very friendly and good portions.
Iβve been going to the Weathervane Cafe for about 8/9 years now, which is wild.In all that time the quality of their coffee has maintained its greatness and the place is relatively unchanged, which is great because I was afraid when it got more popular that it would become less homey and sweet.Really comfy environment, creative drinks and food.I REALLY WISH they carried vegan pastries/ baked goods at least some of the time, but I havenβt seen any in years.Otherwise they have some vegan options for food, which is a relief, but I wish that they had more! It seems like some of the non-vegan options would be easily made vegan if they cared to.The TLT and the chia seed pudding are my favorites. Iβd drink an oat milk latte with any of their add ins- all syrups made in house are delicious.
Stopped here to give our children what they wanted, pizza and it was very good. light crisp crust, plenty of cheese, and a nice sauce. A good spot if you need some quick good pizza.
This was the best coffee I have had in Denver!!! I ordered the Happy Camper and it was delicious. I also got the Italian Turkey sandwich which was amazinggggg. The staff is extremely kind, and the shop is so cool! I will be back ASAP
This place is everything cool about your grandmothers house. Its cozy and eclectic and has a homey vibe. The two levels offer varied atmospheres for whatever work you might want to get done -- great music downstairs and a quiet upper level. The house latte the happy camper is delicious. I also had the breakfast sandwich and it was yummy and FRESH. I love that they support local artists too! A full bookshelf of patches, skincare, mugs, and zines are sold here.
At first I didnt think much walking by this little cafΓ©. Then I walked inside. You instantly feel at home. The decor is so cozy and to my surprise there was a living room style seating area upstairs as well! After trying the food I was convinced that this will be a place that I frequent. I tried the T.L.T. (tempeh, lettuce, tomato) sandwich as well as the carrot cake oats.I have to shout-out this place for making its few vegan options excellent! I cant wait to come back and try another one of their oats, the vegan chickpea sandwich, or even a coffee beverage.
Its a very fast and comfortable assistance. Impressive coffee shop to relax. I am 100% a satisfied and contented customer here! I will bring my family and friends here for sure, to experience their great ambiance from the front door to the inside. Great service and pricing. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! A5 stars!
Staff was super cool and helpful. Had a golden milk that was great!
Three people working in the midst of a global pandemic, online orders, and a completely new workflow that includes extremely stringent cleaning and sanitization practices, and it ONLY took 10 minutes to make my entire order. As a former barista, I honestly donβt know how these amazing humans are doing this so flawlessly. I like to support as many local businesses as I can, and I am on a limited budget at the moment, as are so many folx struggling through this crazy year, so sadly, I canβt come here EVERYDAY, but if I could I absolutely would. I wish I could hang out and get to know these amazing people who handle the stresses of the service industry during a pandemic with unparalleled grace and poise. The Weathervane is an amazing place. It is a magical little house with kind staff, delicious food and drinks, and they care so deeply for their customers that they work every second of every day to protect each individual who enters their space. I do everything I can to let others know how special this little shop is, and I support it every chance I get.I worked as a barista for a long time, and I can admit that I would not be able to handle the service industry in these unprecedented times. Kindness, ease of ordering (online orders for pick up!), quality of product, and overall vibes are what keep me coming back time and time again. The people who leave negative reviews of this space β especially during the chaos of Covid-19 β are truly out of touch. I will never stop coming to this shop. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Id give them ten stars if I could! Best iced oat milk latte in Denver, hands down. One of the very best most lovely breakfast burritos in the area, their veggie sandwich is divine, their yerba mate elixir is phenomenal and so refreshing, their matcha chia pudding is insane, AND they do killer baked goods. You absolutely cannot go wrong with these folks. On top of their menu being bomb, their staff is absolutely wonderful and I so appreciate how careful theyve been throughout Covid. They are one of the most thoughtful and welcoming cafes in Denver and they make this place feel like home for a new transplant.
Been coming here for 3 or 4 years and can confidently say that they are one of the best coffee shops in Denver. Super cozy and always have a great menu. Iβve been ordering online with them during the covid 19 shutdown because itβs more efficient and safe. Thereβs only been one or two mistakes out of dozens of orders over the years (which is pretty good tbh!) and theyβve happily worked it out those times. My favorite is a rose or lavender latte and my boyfriendβs is the liquid mittens/earl grey cambric. They have amazing pastries and great options for vegetarians!
The perfect chai. The breakfast sandwich with turkey, spinach, pickled onions, and cucumbers hit the spot. The matcha coconut chia pudding was to die for. Perfect in every way. The house is absolutely charming including additional seating upstairs. There are mugs and cute items for sale including T shirts. This was a delightful and charming breakfast visit. I plan to make several return trips. Friendly staff. Parking is on the street only so good luck with that.
One of the first cafes I encountered in Denver, which was perfect, because it is a comfy and personable home away from home. The owners and the staff cultivate a welcoming and friendly environment.During the pandemic, the cafe is practicing safe distancing, mask wearing, and encouraging online ordering, showing that they care about the safety of their staff and community members, without sacrificing the high-quality of their coffee and menu.Pre-pandemic, the upstairs has perfectly cozy couches for meeting friends or reading your favorite stories ( a happy camper latte is a good choice, if its too chilly for cold brew!) The atmosphere is exactly that of what a neighborhood coffee shop should be- welcoming, relaxing, and friendly, with high-quality customer interactions and a delicious menu. Its worth the trip always!
I love Weathervane Cafe. Itβs been a Denver landmark for years now. The staff is always friendly and they remain calm when theyβre slammed. I donβt normally leave reviews, but as a small business owner I know what one bad review can do. The dude that just left a lengthy bad review again is a pro. (I checked his other 52 reviews he has left for other businesses) Weathervane certainly does not deserve that. This is a quaint, cozy and thoughtful coffee shop. So when you go there, thatβs exactly what youβre getting. The way Weathervane is structured takes slightly longer than some other shops. Plan accordingly if youβre in a rush. Itβs worth the wait and worth spending time with people that genuinely care. Plus, when youβre inside you can shop local artists and makers! Youβre helping not just Weathervane, but many others along the way. If youβre a mindful consumer, this is the place for you. If you want to feel taken care of, this is also the place for you. Bonus- their drinks and food are fantastic. 5 stars Weathervane, keep doing you!
Best cafe in Denver!Happy camper latte or cold brew with a Denver turkey sandwich or a pop tart of the month. They have been taking covid-19 precautions from the beginning. Ordering online is the best way to go to protect everyoneβs safety and get quality food and drinks. This place is always hopping! Before covid, the wait on weekends could be a bit long, but if you go, you will see why- delicious menu, welcoming atmosphere, great retail, etc. highly recommend spending your $ here!
My daughter Sarah lives next door to the Weathervane so when I visited her in August of 2019 we frequented it for breakfast and lunches. The people are so nice and the sandwiches are wonderful. Due to the pandemic, I couldnt get out to Denver for a visit this year but I send my daughter $100 Weathervane gift certificates just about every month. She loves it!
This place has hit the mark since the first day I visited. Coffee shops often have good coffee and meh food or cafes have good food and meh coffee. This place has great coffee AND food. I canβt begin to tell you how refreshing their food offerings are. Everything from the burrito to their salad to the lattes have all been a delight to my taste buds. On top of that the way they have handled this pandemic has been top notch. From day one they were VERY clear about what they were doing to keep everyone safe and their expectations of customers. They setup an online ordering system incredibly fast to limit the amount of time youβd have to be indoors. Do yourself a favor and support local by giving them a try.
Consistently delicious. I have been going here for years. Not only is the food great, but they are one of the most virus-safe businesses I know. The owners clearly care about their customers and theyβre taking lots of precautions. Also, you can order online and arrange no-touch pick up.
The breakfast we had was really good and very tasty. The cappuccino was even better. This is the best coffee shop in our area. The barista is very good at making different toppings. We were not expecting that we could enjoy the day having the coffee together for it was really good! It was a great experience ever! I will recommend place.
Adorable local establishment with delicious craft coffee, a unique and yummy food menu, and fun goods for sale. Been coming here for over a year and have yet to have a drink/meal thats less than amazing. Staff is welcoming and responsive. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk now give this local treasure all your money.
My favorite coffee shop in all of CO! The food is fantastic with so many great options. Best coconut flavor around. A cozy place to sit (in non Covid times) and amazing baristas! Thanks to the staff for creating a delightful oasis.
Weathervane cafe is hands down my all time favorite coffee shop. Itβs nestled in the cutest green 2 story house with an upstairs and downstairs patio and the most epic vintage decor. They also have the best gift shop and food in addition to all the amazing drinks so donβt skip those when you visit :) My favorite drink is the iced coconut green tea and ALL the sandwiches are fresh and amazing. I lived in Denver for years and to this day when I visit friends there a few times a year I refuse to miss a visit to weathervane. Amazing vibes and super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Small business worth supporting especially during this crazy time βοΈ
I used to live in the City Park neighborhood of Denver, which is how I stumbled across Weathervane. The charm of the house on the outside lured me in, and the warmth, deliciousness of their drinks and food, and cozy vibes kept me coming back. It was my go-to spot when I lived within walking distance, and I still make it a point to drive across town to go on occasion. The coffee they use is one of my favorites in Denver. And their staff is always so friendly and sweet. By far my favorite little gem and coffee spot in the city.
Great food fun environment would do again on the next visit
They have a southern facing outdoor patio which is nice for these covid times when you are looking for warmer outdoor seating on a sunny winter day. The coffee is great. My avocado/turkey sandwich was fantastic.
Always an amazing experience. Everyone here is so kind and quick to help customers with whatever is needed. The ambiance is so relaxing and home-like. Also the Happy Camper Latte is actually the best drink ever. Canβt recommend it enough!
I absolutely love this place. Everything they have is delicious. If I were forced at spear-point to find a fault, I would say that sometimes their lavender lemonade is a bit too lavenderie, bu thatβs all Iβve got. Thanks for keeping me caffeinated all these years.
My favorite! A perfect oldladybaby nest for me to drink coffee nip on treats and buy trinkets. I love this place and cant wait to stay at their cabins.
Local find with great energy. The food is equally as savory as the beverages! Love this place.
Fantastic find! Serves breakfast and brunch food with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Cozy first floor and spacious 2nd floor with sofa seating, complete with balcony seating.Had the Mango Melt, Tuscan White Bean Stew, and sourdough pretzels. Mango Melt was fantastic! The green chile and slice of brie were really satisfying.Plenty of tea selections, and their coffee drinks are made with homemade syrups and have numerous inclusive milk options, even oat milk.
Ive been coming to this place since shortly after it opened, and I always make a point to stop by whenever Im in the neighborhood. This is my all-time favorite cafe in Denver. The food and drinks are divine - everything is interesting and unique and fresh and locally sourced as much as possible. The staff are always very sweet and friendly and make each meal or drink with care and attention to detail - they wont serve you something that didnt turn out right. I especially love the house-made syrups and quirky, delicious oatmeal combinations. The staff and owners are also taking COVID-19 very seriously, and are doing everything they can to keep themselves and their customers safe and healthy, so they have their online ordering system pretty streamlined. In addition, the building is adorable - all the space inside nicely arranged and adorable, and the front patio is cutely decorated and very chill. Im looking forward to being able to hang out and chat with friends or read a book upstairs again soon, but for now Im happy stopping by for a lavender latte, a coconut iced green tea, or some carrot cake oatmeal.
Three people working and it took 10 minutes to make a hot oat milk latte and an iced oat milk latte. As a fellow barista, that is unacceptable. Sadly, Ill be going to other shops in the near future that dont wait on customers orders. And its not that food orders or online orders took the time up, we were watching them the whole time.Update since weathervane replied: it is obvious they dont care what their customers think. Ill be sure to let others know how you agree 10 minutes on an actually not busy time while there is acceptable, and how management responds. Also, when we picked up the drinks after 10 minutes, the girl working said to the two boys working that she told them the drinks were ready earlier, but they were distracted, and just replied with an oh. Truly, you need to hire better staff. They take my statement as I was standing their staring at them. We patiently waited outside and kept looking in to make sure our drinks werent waiting after 5 minutes, and then again every so often. Your company sucks, bad as I mentioned before, I have worked as a barista for a long time and your response is just truly unacceptable, and will make sure coworkers a friends alike know how you respond to customers.2 star went down to 1 star. Also, the oat milk was rather watered down, and the iced latte had barely any ice so the drink never cooled down to iced drink temp. This company doesnt understand customer service or even just keeping customers happy, and instead attack. I will make sure not only we NEVER come back, but many others in this profession will boycott you as well. Guess you didnt know you attacked someone who can influence others in this field..
Super friendly. Coffee is on point. Their Cinnamon Rolls are pretty legit. It was so good I forgot to snap a photo! Seating at this time can be sparse but they make it work. Will most def be back.
Ive been coming here for years, and this spot is excellent. The absolute best staff and owners. Wonderful staple of the Denver coffee community! I could not recommend this place enough to anyone who finds themselves in the city. Love you, Weathervane!
Super cute cafe. Friendly staff, tasty food, and lovely drinks!
I scoped this place out online before my trip to Denver due to its proximity to my friends apartment and my need for coffee. I was not disappointed. The barista was friendly and the customers/regulars were even helpful. Their breakfast sandwich on an English muffin was hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Weathervane is my favorite coffee shop in town! The aesthetic is enviable. The coffee and food are great. Staff is fast and friendly. I appreciate the online ordering they have set up to keep everyone safe while staying open to serve the community!
Hello all! I feel that it is my duty to add my own review after someone left this amazing wonderful shop a one star review. Weathervane makes my day every single time I go in for a coffee. They are EXTREMELY efficient and truly great at what they do. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and have not once been disappointed and will make a point of making my way over in the morning just to get some tea. If you feel like 10 minutes is too long to wait for a drink go to Starbucks and have a subpar one. If you want super kind baristas who make killer sandwiches and coffee, Weathervane is your spot!!
Great food, wonderful service, fun atmosphere.
By far my favorite coffee shop in Colorado. Iβve been coming for almost 5 years now, and I have no problem driving over an hour to get there (I live in Longmont).I love the vibe inside the shop itself, the coffee is AMAZING and theyβre always coming up with new drinks and food items. Not to mention the quality of the food & coffee is the best.My ONLY complaint is that I wish you guys were closer π I would come every day if that were the case. π
Thank you all for being so amazing all of the time .Thank you for enforcing mask wearing and dont pay attention to the Kerry Ps of Denver.xo
Cute little place with great, interesting food and drinks. Its set in an old carriage house, so there isnt a ton of seating, but they have a couple small tables outside, a handful downstairs, and more upstairs. I love the ham and berry chèvre sandwich, which has a thoughtful combination of flavors. The mango melt is also good and more on the sweet side than spicy. Ive yet to go for breakfast, but they have a bunch of interesting and tasty-sounding items that I need to try. In terms of drinks, the matcha latte subbed with oat milk is my favorite. Ive also had the cambric (you can choose which tea youd like to add), as well as the bhakti chai; cant go wrong with the drink selection. They will occasionally send you coupons if you opt into their emails, which makes me more inclined to visit. They sell some branded mugs and such, which are pretty cute, and the menu changes fairly frequently based on seasons and holidays.
Iβve been coming here for years-always high quality food and service. Thankful theyβve taken the care to make a super efficient online ordering system during Covid. I order a couple times a week and my order is always ready right at the estimated time. β€οΈ
Ive been going to the Weathervane for years, and it is my favorite place to meet people for a coffee or a quick bite. The place itself is adorable, with seating options from the cozy downstairs, to the quiet study area upstairs, and even a rooftop patio. The menu is creative and delicious. The people who work there are incredibly pleasant and cheerful.
One of my favorite local spots. Great atmosphere and great drinks and food. Under non pandemic circumstances one of my favorite places to go find a cozy area to read or work.
First time customer today - stopped by for Bhakti Chai. Excellent Chai and service. Given the privilege to sample Indian flavored stew - very yummy. Skip Starbucks - stop here. Support local business.
Weathervane cafe is by far the best cafe in Denver!!! The drinks are to DIE for and every single person I have taken to this place agrees. The baristas are all the kindest people I have ever met and any negative review of this place is unjustified in my opinion. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla and lavender oat milk latte and TLT. The pastries are also to die for. I wish this place the best and always make a point to visit when Iβm nearby
Great coffee, even better staff
I was in the area and wanted to get a coffee. great tasting iced latte and the menu is very unique. the interior was cool, couldnt really enjoy because of the current quarantine, but looked like a nice place to sit at. online ordering was easy and fast. took me about 5 minutes to walk there and my order was already ready. friendly staff. Great local spot to support during these uncertain times.
The nostalgia is not unlike shopping at a thrift shop for art in the early 90s, and I mean that in a good way.Espresso beverages are decent here, but after trying five new coffee shops in Denver in the past three days, I believe everyone is focusing on the bean and has completely forgotten about the quality (not cost) of a good baristas milk. I see artisan almond and oat milks here which took awareness and diligence to procure, but wouldnt consider drinking a glass of the dairy milk currently in my cortado.(Alas, the Third Wave that Australia and NZ sent our way has crashed into complacency here in Denver.)Ill be back to try the menu and spend more time in this charming location if they will have me, the four stars are earned.
This sweet coffee shop is right around the corner for me. My husband and I love the friendly atmosphere and the quality! Itβs a great neighborhood stop!
One of Denverβs absolute best. Hard to call out my favorite menu items because itβs all so darn good. Many many great memories here as well.
Delicious drinks and food in the CUTEST SHOP! Super kind and courteous staff of pro baristas, and lots of neat merchandise from small/local businesses. Love this place!!
The cutest cafe with a delicious TLT! Highly recommend for coffee or lunch!
My favorite cafe in Denver. Menu, vibe, aesthetic are all unmatched. Cute gifts to boot. Iβm in love with their breakfast burrito *heart eyes*.
