This is a really cool place to look around and to just walk through. It has expensive prices in the student store due to the convenience of having the items on campus, but other than that employees are always there to help and you can ask anyone to help you navigate the building as it can be a bit confusing. It is a great, historical building that looks cool inside and out.

I talked to two different people about returns. I got two different answers about returns. Long story short, they wont accept a return for a code I never even took out of the package and it is only week three of class. The code from the publisher was way cheaper than the book store. The code from the bookstore was also on back order. They also wont cancel an order once it has processed even if it hasnt shipped. The whole process was ridiculous. Stay away from this bookstore. Order from Amazon!

The only places I can see someone going to here that arent students of future alumni are the pizza place or the Tivoli brewery. The brewery is pretty cool, you can see workers actually brewing the beer they serve. I havent actually had any beer there thats impressed me but its not bad. The jalepeno poppers here are pretty impressive.

Beware of renting books from here and if you do be sure to ask for a receipt! I was charged full price for a rental that I know I returned, but because the person didn’t enter it in their system properly there was nothing they could do about the charge. You’re better off renting your books from Chegg.

This place is crazy loud and its layout is M.C. Escher-esque. Total disaster. It used to be a brewery so it wasnt built with the public in mind. So that part is pretty cool if youre into funky architecture, and the food court is great. Theyve got a Poke Bowl place that I really enjoy and it is pretty clean for a campus food court. Be warned- this building is always full of lots of people and sometimes they stop walking in the middle of the hall and you gotta try to sidle past them without seeming rude even though theyre the ones that just full stopped in traffic.

Theres a lot of great food options and services in here for students. I like the dining options, but it would be nice if there were maybe one or two more. It gets so busy during lunch that the lines take quite a while to get through and sucks if youre in a hurry. Other than that, the only complaint I have is that the wifi here is so, so bad, especially in the basement area where the food court is. Makes it very hard to do homework or anything else, really. Its kind of a persistent theme on this campus, unfortunately.

You can come here for textbooks (to rent and to buy), school supplies (of all kinds), school appearal, a food court, Starbucks coffee, a little store for snacks, and even a brewery. This bookstore is a hot mess. Currently they are out of stock of required course materials. Specifically composition books required for labs. They last ordered composition books in spring, and will not reorder until Fall!! Did they completely forget about summer classes?!?! Additionally, all three campuses have books shelved in the same section of the store. Everything is ordered by author last name instead of course number and section. If you need academic supplies spare yourself the frustration and go to Staples or Amazon. This bookstore is worthless. The staff are unhelpful, lines are long, and the required course materials are likely not in stock.

My first semester, I bought two textbooks here. My second semester, I tried to buy three textbooks here. None of them were in stock, and the employees didnt know when they were getting more. I came back in two days, hoping theyd be back in stock - its a college bookstore, at the start of classes, and I was taking three giant classes offered multiple times every day. Nope. I turned to the Internet, thinking they might be more expensive there. Every book I got was significantly less expensive than the Tivoli quotes, and I could rent them online for a sixth of the price of buying them. Yeah, its college. Yeah, books are expensive. No, they really dont need to be marked up. Also, the ID lines are three hours at the start of each semester.

This review is for both the Tivoli Station Book Store and the Tivoli Building itself since there is no other place to post reviews of the building. The bookstore is alright. Nothing special. Very overpriced and honestly pretty annoying to deal with at the beginning of the semester. I wish that they had a larger selection of non-textbook books to browse during times between classes. Overall, not bad. The bookstore warrants 3-4 stars. The building itself is okay. Pretty well maintained and structurally interesting. The problem I have though is the WIFI. You would think that the main hub for all three schools on campus would have decent WIFI so you can work on homework while eating lunch. This is not the case. IF you can ever get any of the various guest or school-specific WIFIs to connect it is EXTREMELY slow and practically unusable. Youre better off bringing your work/food elsewhere on campus instead, which is rather disappointing. The Tivoli Building itself gets 1-2 stars.

On the ocassions I need my books I always get them from the bookstore. I always have a good experience every time Im in there. On some ocassions they dont have the books in stock but other than that its great. The other day I was looking for a GRE test prep book and I had no idea what I needed so I asked one of the employees for a GRE study guide and I told her I had no idea on what to do and how the process functions. The girl who helped me is cute with long hair and glasses and was really nice and helpful. I remember her because I felt relieved since I had no idea how the process of taking the GRE works or how to prepare for it and she explained the whole process and how to prepare for it. I usually dont write reviews but the help I received was great that I decided to write one.

Ah, ye ole Tiv. When I went to CU Denver, I visited the Tiv regularly to meet classmates or grab lunch. Its a historic building with an active brewery, movie theater, food court and bookstore.
