It was ok but i wish they would do their credit program on cash instead of receiving storecredit for trading in of books otherwise great place !
I have been to over 20 used bookstores around the country, and this is one of the best organized Ive ever seen. They have an excellent selection of mystery/thriller novels. The owner was super helpful, searched through her index on the computer, and told me exactly where to find the book (even public libraries arent this organized).Furthermore, I appreciate that the paperback books are all stacked horizontally instead of vertically. It makes a huge difference on neck strain if youre going to browse for an hour! I highly recommend this place, and will be back for sure.
Very organized place, it’s a joy to wander the bookshelves. Prices were a little more than I was expecting, but great selection of books.
This small, friendly store is tucked between Dairy Queen and Kokoro’s. It is actually one of the oldest bookstores in our metro area, opening at this location way back in 1977. The Book Rack offers a good selection of paperbacks at a reasonable price. There are some nice books for children, too. Its a great place for browsing! The world of books is changing, after all, and paperback books are not as plentiful as they once were. At the Book Rack, you may discover many treasures - or to be more specific, many paperback books containing out-of-print texts that are otherwise hard to find. Theres a buy-back and credit system available for customers, which seems nice, although I dont frequent the store enough to make it practical. I have often thought the store catered more to female customers than, well, to guys like me - but honestly, the last time I was there, the other three customers who came in to browse were, yes, guys like me. The lesson, I suppose, is that we should all be careful when we try to characterize a book store! Even a small shop like the Book Rack is not so easy to pin down.
A great assortment of books. Friendly staff
Small book store feel. Its got really good prices and from what I saw had a good selection. I went there with my daughter and she enjoyed looking through the kids books. The lady there was helpful and nice
Your company used to stamp large stamps advertising themselves in the books. I am so pleased they stopped doing that. Our family has moved 85 miles away, into the boondocks of central Colorado. So we dont get into town, except to conduct business or visit friends or family now.I loved to sit in a chair, that you guys provided to me, to sort through your books. then buy a ton of them, for everyone I know---friends, family-- including strangers, whom I thought would love the particular book, too, or benefit in some other way by the book. We, ourselves, have over 2,000 books in our own shelves. What a joyous library weve accumulated.Your company is one of the greatest book stores I used to glean from over the years. You are a profound blessing to me! Much gratitude,Your Patron, Topo Gigio, (my online alias, for the sake of one iota of shielding from all those loving strangers to whom I give books, with the slightest interest).
Selection: outstanding. Not only well curated, but likely to introduce you to some things you never knew you needed (in addition to what you came for).Prices: more expensive than online, but youre paying for convenience and the experience of being able to browse!Staff: helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.Location: in the heart of the Square, you likely walk past frequently...Careful not to wander in if youre in a hurry...
Great selection if you want to browse. If youre looking for something specific theyll add it to their list and hold it for you. You can also have them order new books.Support your local bookstore!
Really nice staff and has a lot of options! Slightly over priced in my opinion for used books, but love supporting local businesses
Great small bookstore for used (& some new) books. Bring your used books in and theyll give you partial credit toward the books you buy. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff!! Looking for something? Theyll put it on your wish list, then let you know if it comes in!!
Cute little hole in the wall .with books all over!! Something for everyone. Trades or donations from the local community seems welcome and the women who was behind the counter was very friendly.
Great paperback selection & reasonable prices...
Wide variety of books too choose from and affordable. Its a great place to take children and has been in the neighborhood for a very long time.
My son used to live across the street so we still had our account there. Our Book Rack closed here in Greeley several years ago so it was nice to be able to get a bunch of books. A bit more expensive than our old one, but still saves you a lot of money if you read as much as we do.
My favorite used bookstore. Staff are always helpful and friendly. They call me when a book comes in that I have requested, even if its been over a year since I requested it.
Lots of paperback books to browse through. They dont do much hardcover business. They also buy paperback books as well and have an interesting trade in policy. They give about 30% of the original cover price and then you can use half of that credit per purchase. Kinda complicated but ensures they get money. The selection will be hit or miss if youre looking for something specific but if you just want to browse and get lucky its a good place to go. You cant see it from the street its on the side of the building.
This is a typical used bookstore. Id say a large selection of fantasy and romance novels, though there are other book types in addition to a small Young Adult and Childrens section. They have a buyback program where you can get store credit that can be applied to part of future purchases. There was an older lady who seemed rather inconvenienced to have to explain this to me. Otherwise it was a good visit.
Nice little used bookstore. Mainly paperback fiction, but I was able to find a few nature field guides. Worth checking out.
Extremely organized. Decent selection, great quality. For trade ins, they have a great program.
The best used bookstore in town! They have everything Im looking for plus things I didnt know I wanted. The staff is so friendly this place feels less like a store & more like raiding a dear friends book rack! Thank you for being here ladies ❤
Great local place to hunt for used books. Very helpful.
This book store has an excellent and broad selection of all genres. They have childrens books, romance, mystery, current popular fiction, and more. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They buy certain books, but are very selective. Also you can only use your credit for part of the cost of books.
Right by one of my favorite Asian cuisines in Denver, this is a great little bookstore that I visit every time Im in the area. So many of the books I now own were from this shop!
All I can say is, WOW. So many books! I walked in wondering if I could find one specific book. You bet! The woman has every book catalogued and she knows whats there and where it is. Better than my public library - lol. She took my name and will let me know if the book I want ever comes in. Now thats service!
Great selection of books. Live their credit policy when you bring in paperback books.
Large selection of books
Good selection. Friendly store!
Nice place to relax and find some great deals on books!
Great place, excellent selection. One of my 3 go to stores for books. Highly recommend.
I stopped Into The Book Rack but their prices for a little higher than I was hoping for good place
Love this little bookstore. Incredibly efficient and helpful staff!
The store is very organized. The staff is very helpful and dont hesitate to recommend a new author or a way to find one.
My favorite used book store in Denver. Never been disappointed by their selection or their prices.
This is a classic little book store, complete with sweet staff who are interesting and chat-worthy.
Great old school style paperback shop. The mystery section is excellent.
Good section of SciFi and fantasy books.
Wonderful local used bookstore. Staff was great, helped me find one book and put me on hold for another when it comes in. Also found out I can order new books at a discount. Whole-heartily recommend.
Superb paperback scifi section. Great buyback program that builds credit for new purchases. Buy 20 books for 20 buck for no reason!
Its a great place! Its well organized and the employees are friendly and knowledgable.
The ever changing selection and cheap prices make this a steal! Bring in unread books and youll get half their worth as store credit!
Nice little bookstore nice people
Buy for half price and get it credit when you bring them back. Good selection.
Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Love this place.
Wide variety of genres, comfortable atmosphere to browse for hours, and friendly staff who are willing to hunt down the book you arent able to find. My absolute favorite used bookstore!
Always great rotation of books at fantastic value!
Lots of good options and a very great selection
Decent selection, though mostly romance and mass paperback crime novels. Prices are as expected of a used bookstore trying to keep the lights on. However, the slightly odd staff (with the addition of the store gerbil) were a bit off putting. Great loyalty program, though.
Great genre used books. Large quantities!
Nice used book store but much self help in way of motivational reading for marketing
Large selection of books, mostly paperbacks. Nice people, good service, all the authors and titles.
Nice selection of books with good prices.
Friendly staff. Found a couple books I wanted to get for my daughter.
First week of the month they do young readers week and all kids 15 and under can get a used book for free. No purchase required.
Friendly staff ... Good prices
Nice little place staff is helpful
Good Korean food ...
Favorite hidden gem of a used book store in Denver. They have an awesome selection but some genres are clearly favored
Not bad selection but pricier than most of the other used bookstores in the area
Small space, well organized, friendly.
They have helped me out in more ways than one
Alot of books great place
Great selection and friendly.
Books were a little more expensive but they were easy to read on the shelf and friendly people
Clean, tidy, and the staff is nice
Great books
Very friendly people.
Awesome!!
Great
Hidden gem in Denver
This is a used bookstore and usually sells a lot of adult books (thick books). There are few books for children and teenagers.
